After turning pro in just in 2nd show at 21 years old, Alexa continued to compete in bodybuilding until her declining health forced her to take a big step back. After years of trying to heal herself, she has found ways to continue to be elite and train hard, without sacrificing her health. Being elite in anything often comes with a cost. Bodybuilding is certainly included in that, and that even without the use of PEDs. Alexa is a perfect example of this. She tells her story of all the health complications she went through. It can be easy to ignore many of the early warning signs, and this is exactly what Alexa is aiming to make you aware of. If you pay attention, you can fix things before they become a problem. Training hard and wanting to be in amazing shape doesn't have to come at the cost of your health.
