Our guest today is Theresa Inacker. Theresa has been an Attorney for more than 24 years, is the New Jersey State Director for Women for Gun Rights, and is a Trustee of the Executive Board for The Coalition of New Jersey Firearm Owners (CNJFO). Theresa is admitted to practice law in the States of New York and New Jersey, the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, and The Supreme Court of the United States. 1) Talk to us about the sometimes contentious relationship between the 2A and the Courts. Shouldn't the Bruen SCOTUS decision have streamlined how the courts interpret 2A issues? 2) What is the state of gun rights in your home state of NJ? 3) You already wear many hats in support of our Second Amendment, but you are seeking a new position on the Board of the NRA. Talk to us about that. 4) Tell us about your 2024 Fundraiser for WGR-NJ! ***APOLOGIES*** Our Studio experienced a Internet Outage during this interview and approximately 20 minutes of the video and audio was lost and irretrievable. We hope to have Theresa back on soon to share the important information that was lost from the end of this interview. PLEASE STAY TUNED!

Crowdstrike cyber security crash closes Utah courts, retailers -- Blake Anderson responds to official termination
On July 19, 2024, an internet outage was caused by a malfunction in CrowdStrike's software. The issue originated from a critical update to the Falcon platform, which led to widespread connectivity problems across multiple sectors, including corporate networks and individual users. This outage disrupted various online services and applications, significantly impacting business operations.CrowdStrike quickly acknowledged the issue and initiated efforts to resolve it. The company's technical team worked on identifying the root cause and deploying a fix. While some users experienced prolonged outages, CrowdStrike assured that measures were being taken to restore normal operations as swiftly as possible. The company has faced criticism and scrutiny over the incident, given the widespread reliance on their cybersecurity solutions.Meanwhile, others are questioning the response and wondering if there is more under the surface. In a world that operates at “hyperscale,” the potential for hyperscale-sized problems is also very real. An outage occurs, a change is rolled back, and everything stabilizes. But what happens when the change is attempted a second time? These second tries often go much more smoothly. While another outage might still occur during this “take two,” the impact is usually far less severe. The engineering team has learned from what went wrong the first time and is ready to stop at the first hint of trouble. Slack recently experienced a pair of disruptions that appear to illustrate this “take two” scenario: a longer disruption resulting from a routine database cluster migration, followed by a much shorter outage a few weeks later that also involved database work, potentially indicative of related work that went more smoothly. And for more insights, check out these links:- The Internet Report: Pulse Update Blog: https://www.thousandeyes.com/blog/internet-report-pulse-update-slack-x-outage?utm_source=transistor&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=internetreportpulseep18- Explore the Slack and X disruptions in the ThousandEyes platform (NO LOGIN REQUIRED): Slack: https://afkmcwbeszwdtqqpvouwgjolywiugryx.share.thousandeyes.com/X: https://adcsnhfupsardmzyocrxqdcvriengkew.share.thousandeyes.com———CHAPTERS00:00 Intro00:47 The Download04:06 By the Numbers05:41 Slack Disruptions09:25 X Disruptions20:20 Get in Touch———Want to get in touch? If you have questions, feedback, or guests you would like to see featured on the show, send us a note at InternetReport@thousandeyes.com. Context matters when working on a distributed web-based application or service where everything is linked and dependent on each part functioning correctly. It's all too easy for one team to make a change that unexpectedly affects something another team is working on. Or the combined impact of both changes may also accidentally break something. To avoid such mishaps, teams should cut back on silos as much as possible. However, it's hard to completely eliminate siloed operations or decision-making. But the potential negative effects of silos can be reduced if each team has a view of the end-to-end service that's tailored to their specific area or domain—that is, presented to them in a context that they understand.Tune in to this week's episode to learn more about mitigating silos and also explore lessons from recent disruptions at Slack, Spotify, and Wells Fargo. And for more insights, check out these links:- The Internet Report: Pulse Update Blog: https://www.thousandeyes.com/blog/internet-report-pulse-update-slack-outage?utm_source=transistor&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=internetreportpulseep17- Explore the Slack disruption in the ThousandEyes platform (NO LOGIN REQUIRED): https://apiijiaoljxvlpnzjkxwwlcqmmcovppx.share.thousandeyes.com/———CHAPTERS00:00 Intro00:49 The Download04:35 By the Numbers06:55 Slack Disruption27:18 Spotify Disruption33:15 Get in Touch———Want to get in touch? If you have questions, feedback, or guests you would like to see featured on the show, send us a note at InternetReport@thousandeyes.com. The latest news about my very bad day
Rogers Communications, the Canadian ISP is down. One of its ASNs (they have many) is AS812 with over 5 million IP addresses. Tried a few and none of them can be pinged from the US (not sure if ICMP is disabled or not) This is a huge deal for all Canadians and businesses affected. So sorry for every one who is affected by this, and kudus to all the engineers at Rogers working to fix this for the past what? 11 hours now? If an ASN goes dark like a Facebook or a Cloudflare that isn't a big deal you can go without using Facebook for a day. But if this is your ISP's ASN that connects you to the rest of the World goes down, actual users won't be able to connect. We still don't know the cause but my guess it might be a bad BGP entry? that's what happened to Cloudflare or FB, could be something different. again so sorry for all my Canadian followers affected. Will make a video when I get a chance Resources https://www.bigdatacloud.com/asn-lookup/AS812 https://www.bigdatacloud.com/asn-lookup/AS7018 --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/hnasr/support

This is part of a greater agenda (the Great Reset) in order to use outages and flaws as an excuse to bring in the internet of things. Was this outage really accidental? Or just another piece on the grand chessboard of globalism? The World Economic Forum themselves have their own section on this type of outage and mainstream media has brought up past outages as a reason to move into a more "secure" and more surveillance friendly internet system worldwide. In this video, we break down the latest outage and what it could mean. Stay tuned for more from WAM! In this first round up of the New Year, Mark and I started with the question that's on everyone's mind: are we still in a bull market? Answer - you'll have to listen to the episode to find out! But I will say... compelling narratives and data on both sides. Whatever the truth is, we have clearly entered a pattern of market behavior that is different from past cycles. Variety, as they say, is the spice of life. We went pretty deeply into the Fed's recent minutes, including the hawkish pivot and what that means for markets. Four separate rate hikes starting in March of this coming year are now being priced in with 80% probability. Assets are reacting accordingly, with everything from the S&P to the Nasdaq to Bitcoin falling percipitously. For our weekly stories, we covered the internet outage in Kazakhstan and the commensurate dip in hash power on the Bitcoin network. We also talked about the continued migration of hash rate out of eastern countries and into more stable regimes, primarily the US. Finally we closed on OpenSea's monster $300 million dollar round led by Coatue and Paradigm. For a more in-depth analysis of what drove their valuation, you'll have to give the episode a listen. -- Fireblocks is an enterprise-grade platform delivering a secure infrastructure for moving, storing, and issuing digital assets.
