There doesn't exist spiritual enlightenment!

It might be very provoking for you to read! What is enlightenment? When a guy is getting enlightenment, his ego will be destroyed and be transformed to the divine. Afterward, his whole life will emerge in the divine, everything would be selfless, and he would have no Ego anymore! In the last months of his life, Osho (Bhagwan) finally admitted that: The Ego could not be destroyed, only "observed."Krishnamurthy said simple, there is no enlightenment.Sri Aurobindo said until we have a body, we have an Ego. The Srimad Bhagavatam said, there exist nobody on this planet, who doesn't have all three Gunas. All three Gunas are an ego, we can only improve our ego.And there is nothing mentioned on the enlightenment in the Srimad Bhagavatam or other old religion books, for instance, the famous Sufi book: The conference of the birds. Ramakrishna said we can't kill this rascal of Ego. Instead, we use our Ego to serve God. Ramakrishna remained his whole life humble and said about himself, that he is only the servant of the servants of God. That means Ramakrishna served his devotees and his devotees should serve God.Why we can't destroy our Ego or a part of our Ego? Because our ego is so hard-wired into our brain and our whole body. For instance, if we speak, we use our ego, without ego, we can't talk. We can not guarantee to survive without Ego. We can free us from our ego and connect with the divine for a particular time.-  With Meditation, dancing, music, chanting is this possible.  Through the spiritual path, we can lose a part of our attachments to our ego. We can't get rid of all of our attachments! This means we all have to monitor and improve our ego our whole life, and that forget these so called enlightenment people, avatars. They become arrogant and ignorant of their ego, greedy and fall from their spirituality. The next lie is to transform our sexual drive. Our brain is mainly focused on procreation because nature needs children. What is if we live in celibacy? Then we suppress our sex drive with our mind. What we suppress that will grow. After some time, our suppressed sex can cause diseases, can get perverted or simply explode in craving of sex. I by myself could live easy in Celibacy for 10 years because I raised up my energy from my sex center!!!  When I had an accident, my back could not heal, because of my suppressed sex. And then I have healed my back with my sex energy (Chi Gong, Mantak Chia). All these great famous Gurus at least from the last 200 years have exploited and cheated the mass, not so the unknown Gurus, like Ramakrishna, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan… The great famous Gurus, Saints are making a beautiful holy show, and the insider will tell you how unholy and selfish they are! (see the books reference about the famous Gurus, written from their dearest devotees, at the end). The spiritual enlightenment was a great marketing idea to exploit and cheat the people. The Zen masters even sold enlightenment certificates!Nevertheless, the Enlightenment trip was necessary to motivate, to meditate and go further. The so-called enlightenment Gurus and seriously devotees are getting over the inner path the divine inner voice. With this inner voice, they get all the information that is necessary for their specific inner path. Also, they have to obey to 100% to the divine inner voice. If they follow up, they will grow continuously on the inner path. If not, they will become evil people and will exploit others... I by myself had the fortune to get the Kundalini/spiritual-awakening very fast, with 29 years. Since this time, I have lost my body identification (still, I keep my body healthy) got my divine inner voice and many other spiritual goodies. I have obeyed to 100% my divine inner voice. Sometimes it was/is so difficult to follow my divine inner voice, because I have to do things that are contradicting my thinking/faith system. Nevertheless, my life got better and better. For me is it so easy to get blissfully. Tewari—in the guise of a headmaster of a boys school in the foothills of the Himalayas—was secretly a High Yogi, frequently able to go into altered states of trance, known as Samadhi, at any moment.“I think the greatest compliment that Ram Dass gave him, and it wasn't an exclamation of any sort, he said Aldous Huxley had a very great relationship with the mystery” – Raghu MarkusSee Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Be Here Now under Maharajji's blanket as Hunter and Baba Here Love discuss grieving, the divine mother and more. We relate all we discuss to our spiritual awakening. “At one point Maharaji said, “See everything as the Mother and you will know God.” What was he talking about? seeing your mother in everything? We, Westerners. Have our share of relationship complexities with our mothers. With interpretations galore courtesy of Dr. Freud. The view of the mother in India is different. The country is called Mother India. A Western devotee once told Maharaji he hated his mother. And nobody understood what he was saying. The concept didn't make it across the cultural barrier. In India the mother is so deeply respected and revered, there was no way that statement could be understood. There is an Indian saying that there may be bad children. But there are no bad mothers. The Divine Mother, the Goddess, has many dimensions. In the broadest sense consciousness and energy. Eternal spirit and matter are male and female. Out of the One in the first glimmer of duality comes Purusha. The formless spirit. Prakriti, the cosmic energy that coalesces into form. As God and Goddess. They are Shiva. Who personifies pure absolute consciousness and the seed of procreation, and Shakti. Who manifests infinite forms.” - Ram Dass राम राम राम RAMA RAMA RAMA --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/baba-here-love/support

He is a devotee and direct disciple of Neem Karoli Baba (Maharaji), whom Raghu lived with in India for 18 solid months alongside Ram Dass and Krishna Das in the early 1970's. Raghu is the chief storyteller within the Love Serve Remember satsang, and spends most of his time joyfully recounting deep and meaningful stories about his friend and mentor Ram Dass, so Jaymee took time to ask about Raghu's early life in Montreal for a change. Raghu shared what it was like having his first transcendent experience as a teenager in a jazz club watching John Coltrane play "My Favorite Things" right in front of him, how he and his friends used to sneak off to watch films that were banned by his teachers, and how his early psychedelic experimentation led straight to his first job as a program director of CKGM-FM in Montreal, where he would fatefully encounter Ram Dass as if it were all intricately designed. This episode is full of first hand accounts of what it was like to be in the direct care and company of Neem Karoli Baba, a miracle being who the majority of humans have only experienced through Ram Dass's many lectures, his service work, and his smile... all of which Raghu confirms was Maharaji pouring through his dedicated student. Welcome to The Nonlinear Library, where we use Text-to-Speech software to convert the best writing from the Rationalist and EA communities into audio. This is: Effective Altruism as "nish kam karma yoga" [Larry Brilliant], published by annaleptikon on July 17, 2022 on The Effective Altruism Forum. I recently read Larry Brilliant's memoir about eradicating smallpox. "Sometimes Brilliant" comes with a subtitle that already suggests that his life took an unforeseeable turn from spirituality to a life of pragmatic service: "The Impossible Adventure of a Spiritual Seeker and Visionary Physician Who Helped Conquer the Worst Disease in History". He, among many other things, is an epidemiologist and was part of the successful WHO Smallpox Eradication program. Larry Brilliant is also one of the founders of the (EA recommended) Seva Foundation and an advisor on Pandemic Preparedness. As expected, I learned a lot about the history of smallpox and the WHO Smallpox Eradication Program. I learned a lot about Dr. Brilliant as a person. Engaging with the book also reconnected me to my own spiritual longing and the existential questions that brought me to effective altruism myself. Engaging with these foundations again added to my own sense of meaning in the world, so I'm sharing it for others to read, too. I'd love to learn the technical terms of equivalents to this concept from other wisdom traditions. If you have texts that beautifully convey the principles in a story, that'd be wonderful to read. Here is an excerpt that easily conceptualizes effective altruism as the practice of "nish kam karma yoga": [Larry Brilliant, initiated by his wife, sought spiritual insight from Maharaji, an Indian guru] Maharaji rarely said "do this" or "do that" or indicate that one thing was right or another wrong. He taught by parable or by having us focus on a verse from the Gita."See how Krishna tells Arjuna that not even God can take time off and not work," he would say. "God must be in the world. You must be in the world, not hiding away in a cave. Work to help relieve suffering, but don't get a big head." I took this to mean that I wasn't good enough for spiritual development through meditation, or dhyana yoga. I did not understand that Maharaji was teaching me about another form of yoga, karma yoga, working to be one with God through work in the world."Wake up, wake up," he would say in a high-pitched staccato. "Meditation, devotion, and worship are all good. Very, very good. Do these upaya — these methods. But for you, not only meditation or devotion or asanas [postures]. Your yoga is nish kam karma yoga. You will do service, but avoid praise, and give the fruits of your labor to God. Don't get excited about your role. That is your dharma. Your path is working in the world, not in meditation. You will find your dharma when you get your UN job. Don't get a big head." [Upon seeing his first smallpox case] "Bill," I shouted, too loudly in the quiet room, "we'll lose this girl. She probably has pneumonia on top of everything else, and her lesions are getting infected. She needs serious attention or she will die. Who do we call? How do we get her to the hospital?"My agitation was making everyone uncomfortable, especially the family and the Indian doctors."Larry, slow down," Bill said. "We've all been in the place you are in right now. We all wanted to call the ambulance the first time we saw smallpox at this stage of the disease. But there is no ambulance. There is no treatment."Bill motioned me toward the door. "Because there is nothing anyone can do," he said when we got outside, "people all over the world attribute smallpox to a goddess or supernatural force. They have smallpox goddesses in Nigeria and Japan too. The only thing we can do, and the only thing we must do, is prevent another child from getting this disease. That means we have to find every case, because once there is onecase, there will be a second, a third, and a fourth. We must not let t...

The journey started in the late 60's, Krishna Das met spiritual seeker Ram Dass. He traveled across the country with Ram Dass as his student. And was captivated by the stories of his recent trip to India where he had met the legendary guru Neem Karoli Baba, known to most as Maharaj-ji.  Finally, following his heart, in August 1970, Krishna Das left behind his dreams of being a rock star and made his way to meet this remarkable Being. Basking in the love of Maharaj-ji in the three years that followed, KD's heart was drawn to the practice of Bhakthi Yoga – the yoga of devotion and after two and a half years with Maharaj-ji, he returned to USA – alas, six months after his return, word came that Maharaj-ji had died. “I will sing for you in the west” he had promised his beloved Guru in his own heart. This did not come easily. If you listen to KD in one of his many workshops or read his book ‘Chants of a Life Time' you will know that it took almost 20 years for KD to sing with groups of people around the USA. In his book Chants of a life time, KD writes about his journey over all the years. If you would like to know more straight from Krishna Das himself, we invite you to read his book. KD TODAY In 1994, he started leading chant at Jivamukti Yoga Center, NYC. Over the years, he continued chanting, developing his signature style, fusing traditional kirtan of the east with western harmonic and rhythmic sensibilities. The audiences have been ever growing. With a remarkably soulful voice that touches the deepest chord in even the most casual listener, Krishna Das – known to friends, family, and fans as simply KD, has been called yoga's “rock star.”  He has taken the call-and-response chanting out of yoga centers and into concert halls, becoming a worldwide icon and the best-selling western chant artist of all time. KD now travels the world sharing his kirtan practice and wonderful stories of his life, of Maharaji-ji, of his life on the Path, and discusses bringing chanting into our lives through retreats and workshops. To date, KD has released 16 well received albums, including Live Ananda (released January 2012)  that was nominated for a Grammy in the Best New Age album category. In February 2013, Krishna Das performed at the Grammy awards in Los Angeles, CA streamed online to millions of viewers. The award-winning film ‘One Track Heart: The Story of Krishna Das' has been in over 100 US cities, over 10 countries worldwide and is available on DVD everywhere. In 2014 the Kirtan Wallah Foundation was formed. This 501c3 is dedicated to spreading the teachings of KD's guru and spiritual teacher, Neem Karoli Baba, Lovingly called Maharjji, his teachings can be summed up by his saying: ‘Love Everyone. This is the first of a few interviews Mitchell did with Bhagavan Das in the NYC studio. Bhagavan Das' story is remarkable and shared with you here. In 1963 at the age of 18, Bhagavan Das left California and journeyed solo through Europe, Northern Africa and the Middle East, eventually arriving in India. He was the first American to live in the jungle of the Himalayas as a hermit-sadhu. He was given the holy name of Ram by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. He then came to meet Swami Chaitanya Prakashananda Tirth who gave him tapas to pray for God's Grace. In 1965, after a year of fasting, prayer and intense purification, Bhagavan Das met his Sat Guru, the Mahasiddha Neem Karoli Baba (Maharaji) who he lived with side by side for many years. Maharaji sent him to Anandamayi Ma to receive initiation from the Divine Mother. Later, during his time with the Tibetan yogis, he was the first westerner to meet and live with Lama Kalu Rinpoche, the guru of the 16th Karmapa. He gave Bhagavan Das the Mahamudra transmission. Bhagavan Das received the Clear Light of Primordial Awareness from His Holiness Dudjom Rinpoche and then the Vajra Yogini transmission directly from the 16th Karmapa in Sikkim. He lived with Yogi Chen who explained all the details to him in English in his hermitage in Kalimpong. When on pilgrimage to the holy Boudhanath Stupa in Kathmandu, Bhagavan Das met Richard Alpert who became Ram Dass after Bhagavan Das brought him to Maharaji. Then, Bhagavan Das was sent to Amma in the 1980s, who saved him again from the ravages of the world. The Grace of his Sat Guru Maharaji led Bhagavan Das HOME to the Divine Mother in the form of Amulya Maa, his precious Beloved Wife, who is always guiding him on the true path of Bodhichitta with her crystal clarity, ancient wisdom and pure Love. What form does this inner Grace take? First, It takes form as discernment.  Then, It takes form as your best life. It sounds like Silence... the Silence you're noticing now, as you're reading these words, and hearing them  inside. The sound of these words, your inner voice, can't drown out the sound of Silence. It feels like Love... the Love you feel as you smile now,  not just with your face, but with your Heart, your whole Being. It's felt-presence is the bridge from who you think you are, to what you came here to be. It's the bridge to better living, true happiness, real abundance… it's the bridge back to your Self. "The purpose of meditation is to attain Divine Grace. Once this Grace has been attained in a measure, It takes over our experience and lives our lives, performs those things which are given us to do, and makes the crooked places straight.  We no longer live by bread alone, but by this inner Grace."-Joel Goldsmith "Once, M and Maharaji were traveling by horse-drawn carriage, M asked Maharaji about the wandering mind during meditation: “It won't stand on one point; but many ideas come in. What do I do?” Then suddenly a small child ran across the road and the driver pulled the reins to stop the horse just in time to save the child. Maharaji said, “Like that,” pointing to the driver holding the reins. “As the mind will travel here, there, and all directions, you should always try to pull it to one point. You should center it with continuous practice, then automatically it will go to the one point on which you want to meditate. Ultimately, after years, the mind becomes quiet.”-Excerpt from Miracle of Love: Stories about Neem Karoli Baba, compiled by Ram Dass "Let go of your next thought.Let go of your next thought.Let go of your next thought.Show me your suffering, now."-Ananta I Love you!Nikkinikki@curlynikki.com

Marcia Montenegro, a former professional astrologer for 8 years and teacher of astrology; a former practitioner for many years of Eastern-type meditation and beliefs, and who engaged in various occult practices such as having a spirit guide and doing astral travel tells about how she came to know the ONE TRUE living God, JESUS! Spirit guides, meditation, astrology, the "higher Self," raising the kundalini, developing psychic abilities, praying to gurus, astral travel, numerology, Tarot cards, contacting the dead, hanging out with witches, Sufis, followers of Muktananda, Rajneesh, Sai Baba, Maharaji, -- all these and more were part of Marcia's journey. How did she get on this path? You will hear about all that and so much more on today's podcast.  You guys, I am so inspired by this lady.  She is reaching so many people in a world where new age, spirit guides, and mediation is popular. It all started when she  grew up with an agnostic father and a nominally Christian mother. She and her sister had to attend church because their mother thought that children should go to church, although she did not always go. She started a serious spiritual search and journey at the end of high school. That journey continued through college where she had paranormal experiences, made friends with someone who said she saw auras, and attended spiritualist meetings where the ministers claimed to receive messages from the dead. One bright sunny Florida afternoon, as she rested on my bed fully awake with eyes partly closed, she felt herself floating. She opened her eyes and was stunned to see her body on the bed below her as she hovered near the ceiling. She thought she had died. The shock slammed her back into her body in an almost painful way. This was her first out-of-body experience and she had no idea what it was or that it even had a name. She told no one about it. In an Inner Light Consciousness class, she was introduced to her "spiritual master" during a guided visualization. This guide, a spirit being, looked kind and wise. She felt his presence with her and sometimes saw him in dreams and meditations. She also had unpleasant, scary and weird experiences and visitations, once seeing a tall hooded figure in dark robes looking at my body in the bed as I hovered out-of-body nearby. Although extremely frightened by this apparition, she rationalized it by telling herself that she was being tested. Later she realized she had been surrounded by fallen angels, what the Bible calls demons! Later, her studies took her on many paths -- Tibetan, Hindu and Zen meditation and philosophy, spirit contact, a bit of palm reading, numerology, psychic development, and past life regression. Reincarnation seemed to answer questions to where she had thought she had actually experienced of what  she thought were memories of past lives. Then one day, out of the blue, she had an unexplained compulsion to go to a church! Since she hated Christianity, churches and Christians by now, this made her very angry. She first ignored this compulsion, then resisted it, and then, after struggling against it for awhile, she decided to give in, hoping that it would all go away.  She through to herself, “It was probably from one of my former lives as a Christian priest or monk”,  as she reasoned it out.   In the opening minutes of a service in a large church in downtown Atlanta, Marcia states, “I felt a love I had never known wash down over and through me, so powerfully that I started quietly crying. It felt as if a water fall was washing over me!  I knew this love was from God, not from the music, the people, or the place”.   I'm not gonna lie, this is one of the most powerful podcast I have ever done! You've got to hear all of her story.  This is part one and next week you will hear part two of how she soon began to discover that New Age had made it's way into several churches and they didn't even know it!  Stay tuned! In this wonderfully honest conversation with one of the most significant and beloved spiritual figures in America today, teacher and musician, Krishna Das, we touch upon a lot of different things, both personal, and more general teachings. KD tells us how some of the emotional sufferings from the past are still with him, but how the energy has gone out of them, land that makes all the difference. We speak about surrender, what it is, what it isn't and how actually does the surrendering… We speak about the ego and the longing to be free, and how he views intention in all this KD tells us to hold our practice with a very light hand, heart and mind, without pushing and without pride and without stories of how great we are because we are practicing, or how bad we are because we don't think we are doing it right, or getting anywhere “I don't think about myself that much anymore - that's happiness…” “If you don't add a practice to your life, you don't even notice how gone you are - away from your being…” KD tells us why chanting is so effective… and how different things work for different people, and different practices work at different times He also tells us about his experience and the benefits of his Buddhist practices And we speak about romantic love… the expectations, the beauty and the shadow… And how love is not something we fall in or fall out of, love just is - it's not even an emotion, it's what we are And when we talk about this love, he says, it's synonymous with presence and pure beingness He also tells us why Maharaji sent him back to America. And how Maharaji was friends with the head of a criminal gang! And - can you believe this - Maharaji had his own cell in the prison in Agra, where he could go to hide from his devotees!!! 11-16-17 - This is Show #3 and Dr. June will have guests explaining the dangers of the New Age Religion and Yoga. Expert New Age Exposer is Marcia Montenegro from Arlington Virginia. Her ministry is Christian Answers of the New Age. Millennial Chelsey Riddle is recently saved and delivered from New Age as well. Both will take your calls at 8:00 p.m. CST at 929-477-1994. We will hear how the New Age practices have crept into the church and the dangers thereof. We will discuss the various ways to recognize New Age. It has literally crept into almost all aspects of society. We must be sober and alert to the enemy! Before becoming an astrologer, Marcia was involved with various New Age, occult, and Eastern beliefs and practices, including Inner Light Consciousness, Tibetan Buddhism, Zen Buddhism, Hindu teachings and meditation, and psychic development classes. During these years, she also participated in past life regression, numerology, Tarot cards, spirit contact, seances, astral travel, and received a spirit guide through a guided visualization. Being an astrologer and involved in the New Age/ occult community gave Marcia a diversity of friends and astrological clients including witches/pagans; New Age healers; psychics; palm readers and card readers; Sufis; followers of Rajneesh, Sai Baba, Muktananda, Maharaji, and other gurus; Hare Krishna devotees; est and Silva Mind trainees; and others. Through these contacts and her own experiences, she became familiar with a wide spectrum of beliefs and practices that were an intrinsic part of the New Age and occult community. Marcia's ministry is CANA/Christian Answers for the New Age, and she is a missionary with Fellowship International Mission, an independent mission board based in Allentown, PA. CANA is an informational and outreach ministry.
