This week we talk about Nintendo finally shutting down 3DS and Wii-U online services, a canceled Deadspace game, Star Wars Outlaws, Margot Robie movies, and more!
Its Nick's Nerd New Year once again! So we have Top 10's in gaming, TV and Film! And I don't think you can guess any of them. Plus we know that two major Nintendo figure heads have no plan on stopping in the gaming industry any time soon. Steamboat Willie is taking over the internet, and everything in between. We also have an Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom review, too bad it wont help WB overtake Disney or Universal at the box office.
It's that time of the week! The fellas chop it up once again and bring another hilarious and informative episode! In this episode we discuss more Elon Musk antics; Golden Globe nominations; Bill Belicheck severing ties with New England; E3 Expo is done; Insomniac games has been hacked; updates on the Jonathan Majors case; New Black Panther cartoon on the way; & much more! QOTD: “Homelander v Superman v Omni man: Who wins?” “You get to bang Margot Robie but there's a 10% chance you have a massive heart attack and die during it. You doing it?” “$5 million to suck a d••k in front of your whole family. What you doing?” NEED MERCH?!: www.insensitivemerch.com AFFILIATE PODCASTS: CriticalMass (https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/criticalmass-podcast/id1350565395) For more info about us visit: asylumstudios.live/ Contact via email: joaquin@asylumstudios.live AsylumStudios #InsensitiveCulture #podcast #podcasting #spotify #podcasts #podcastersofinstagram #podcastlife #podcaster #youtube #hollywood #movienews #comedy #itunes #podcasters #film #applepodcasts #podcastshow #interview #newpodcast #television #spotifypodcast #applepodcast #cinema #radioshow #popculture

Kasting Cuzzins: A Podcast About Rap... By Two Recovering White Rappers
Margot Robie! Ryan Gosling! Simu Liu! We hear they're ALL in that new Barbie movie. (We don't know for sure, we haven't seen it.) Our understanding is that if we mention them throughout the Kast, we'll get a big check sent our way. So... here's hoping. Ahem. Also in today's episode: We discuss the serial killer-themed song "Sociopathy" from our sophomore album, W.E.B.A.C.K. It's a weird little ditty that features guest vocals from our good friend Vov Abraxas. We'll get into the music, lyrics and more. TITLE FIGHT! Wait, no, that's another weekend... Or, is it? To be fair and sure, the hype around this supposed "double" feature, which is kind of cracked given that one (albeit PG-13) Family comedy-fantasy is something that is for everyone, while the other is a... made for grown-ups, highly cerebral, politically provocative and visually and intellectually audacious spectacle... but isn't that also what's at heart with Ken and his Patriarchy of Horses? Hmm? Seriously, Jack and Korey did go to see these two films, not so you don't have to but so you can go right away and see them! Matter of fact, it may be best if you see Greta Gerwig's BARBIE starring Margot Robie, Ryan Gosling and Alan (he's just Alan, okay, he's Michael Cera), and Christopher Nolan's OPPENHEIMER Starring Cillian Murphy, Emily Blunt, Robert Downey Jr, and the most eye-popping way Nola could work in "I am become death, destroyer of worlds" (un)imaginable before listening to this episode if possible as we go into SPOILERS right away. But if you want to listen to just one or the other discussion in large part, we've included some time-stamps. Digressions include: the time Totoro and Grave of the Fireflies were a double feature; what it means to be "Muppety," and Korey explains Neo-Realism in politics (which is *fascinating*) Is the Wages of Cinema Kenough? Let's see.... This film is jam-packed with everything a movie should offer, star power, an intertwining plot, fabulous music, and gorgeous costumes. Besides a great cast featuring Margot Robie and Brad Pitt, the ensemble is perfectly cast and there isn't a weak performance. The director, Damien Chazelle, does an outstanding job in this ode to a burgeoning Hollywood one hundred years after its inception. In this Chick Flick Chat, we cover a lot and I tried to drill down on the pertinent aspects and subtext of this visually enticing film. I wade into a discussion of the Oscar nominations that did not - but should have - included this movie for acting and directing. RIP Kevin Conroy, the goat, THE Batman! Also God of War Ragnarok is out and is fun, the game awards have announced their nominees, and yes Marvels Avengers is still a thing. Andor continues to knock it out of the park, The Santa Clauses is slow, and Ash finally becomes the very best. John Wick Chpater 4 brings in the big guns, James Gunn teases something Terrific, and Margot Robie is no longer sailing. That and more come take a listen.
Aquí hablamos de Margot Robie, Johnny el profundo, la reseña de Moon Knight y El Kareoki. Y mucha mierda más!

It's time for a Nuclear dystopia, so Brenna and Joe hunker down in a Garden of Eden...er...valley of plenty in the hopes that a man of science never comes to threaten the peace. Or is it two men? This week, we're traveling back to 1974 to discuss Robert C. O'Brien's Z For Zachariah, a compelling, female-centric YA account of the end of the world. We're also talking about Craig Zobel's 2015 not-YA film adaptation, which is...a romantic triangle with sexy adults? Both texts are solid in their own right, but we're primarily attracted to the excellent tension and incredibly gripping gender dynamics of the book. The film is decent, although the more on-the-nose religious elements, romance and poorly constructed racial stereotype doesn't work nearly as well. Bottom line: if you only check out one of these texts, make sure it's the book!Wanna connect with the show? (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn... sorry, couldn't fit the full title in the description) What to make of this now? A follow-up (not quite sequel? Spin-off? It's its own sexy fiery motherf-er of a beast) to SUICIDE SQUAD where Harley Quinn has broken up (FOR GOOD!) from the Joker finds her in a plot involving a diamond that everybody wants, including one villain nicknamed "Black Mask," and a supporting cast that is very much... well, not 'men go to hell' but more like 'men, don't be trash, don't be like these friggin' dopes'. And the women? Oh the women are here to kick your asses up and down the block! And.... well, why not listen to us tell you about what to expect from this new DC Comic Book movie (and it is *very* comic booky, for better or worse), and led by a true star in Margot Robie...oh and SPOILERS 40 minutes in (no music breaks for this one, recorded raw).
