SYRIA IS five thousand years of warfare. And deploying American soldiers will not put a stop to the death. CHRISTIANS ARE being blamed for the evils of the world—but it’s non-believers who will pay the price. THE WORLD has gone mad in the last 30 days. A month ago, the media and health experts condemned peaceful protests against travel restrictions imposed in response to the COVID-19 outbreak. Since then, the narrative has completely flipped, and some health experts are literally claiming that mass protests in the wake of the death of George Floyd are fine. Not just fine, actually; more than 1,000 health professionals have signed an open letter claiming that the protests must continue because “protests against systemic racism, which fosters the disproportionate burden of COVID-19 on Black communities and also perpetuates police violence, must be supported.” In other words, “white privilege” is more dangerous than COVID-19. Mark Sutherland joins us via Skype from the U.K. to help us try to put this in perspective. If not, welcome and thank you for listening! I've been developing a metaphor describing our sinful condition as spiritual "light pollution," the equivalent of the physical phenomena. A light-polluted environment (such as an urban city) will cause the dark background of the night sky to become brighter, thereby 'hiding the face' of the more subtle, dim stars. It occurred to me that the same thing happens when, in a sinful condition, we try to understand the fullness of God's revealed truth. Just as you can't shine a flashlight up at a star or nebula and expect to see more clearly (actually the opposite will happen), you can't expect to understand the deep things of God when you are anything but totally and completely receptive. This has been a crazy week. I've struggled with some fundamental questions that God has brought to the forefront as we face this great spiritual battle going on between Good and Evil. "Scientia est Potentia"- Knowledge is Power. The Beast system is expanding it's powers all around the globe. Privacy is becoming a thing of the past as we are entering a time of fear due to terrorism. This is being manufactered by the so-called "elites" of the earth to ensure global dominance. The threat of terrorism has given them the protection of "plausible deniability" as they pass laws that legislate away freedom and privacy. The Book of Revelation has prophesied this. We will work to use the current laws to counteract this as long as possible, but God has a plan that is unfolding before our eyes and we must be prepared for what is to come. An unbelieving and fearful world will ask the question: "What do you have to hide?". How do we deal with this? What example did Christ set for us? Should we please God or man? America went from a God-fearing nation to a cash-worshipping harlot in just under 250 years. The men and women who were given a trust to lead this nation in truth and justice... are now revealing by their actions, that they know not the meaning of either truth or justice. They are traitors and looters who have no loyalty to the God of the Bible or the people He has given them charge over. Through treaties like NAFTA and GATT, we have allowed our manufacturing base to move over seas. We have little to export other than our dollars.
