The midweek derby between Hull City and Sheffield Wednesday at the KCOM Stadium is oikely to have been a significant occasion for the future of Tigers boss Tim Walter – and our podcast panel of Stuart Rayner and Leon Wobschall give their take on the season so far for the East Yorkshire club and what is likely to happen next. They also cast their collective eyes over Huddersfield Town's promising form which is gradually turning them into a genuine play-off contender in League One. Back in the Championship, Leeds United's ability to bounce back from a lte equaliser by Swansea City and reply to post s 4-3 win in South Wales shows a resilience not seen perhaps enough times this season. Elsewhere, promotion rivals Sheffield United enhanced their hopes of a top-two finish with a clinical 3-0 midweek win over Oxford United.
Tim Walter has been shown the door at Hull City after just 18 games in charge - in that time he picked up just three wins in 17 league games. Baz is back with the gang to talk about Walter's exit and who is next in the hot seat. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
Saturday's 1-0 loss at Luton Town saw Hull City drop into the relegation zone for the second time this season, while under pressure boss Tim Walter was criticised for not going over to thank the supporters for their backing. City must now turn their attention to Tuesday night's crunch Yorkshire derby with Sheffield Wednesday at the MKM Stadium, and in the latest 1904 Club, Baz, Fletch and Prutts look back at the weekend, and ahead to week coming up which ends with Saturday's early kick-off at Boro. The final international break is now over and following Acun Ilicali's vote of confidence in Tim Walter, the Tigers boss will be keen to repay that faith with a return to winning ways at Luton Town on Saturday. The two teams are separated by only goal difference at the wrong end of the table, and both will be desperate for three points to ease the pressure on their respective managers. Looking ahead to that game, Baz and Burnsy reflected on the international break and what lies in store for the Tigers at Kenilworth Road. Learn more about your ad choices. In another big week for Yorkshire derbies, The YP's football writers, Stuart Rayner and Leon Wobschall cast their eyes over how the games between Barnsley and Rotherham United and Sheffield United and Sheffield Wednesday ended up going the way they did. They then take a look at Leeds United's form going into the latest international break, plus that of Hull City who are struggling at the other end of the Championship table with pressure growing on manager Tim Walter and owner Acun Ilicali. There is also time to consider Huddersfield Town's progress in League, while host Mark Singleton asks them for their respective Team of the Week and Playter of the Week.
Sunday's 2-1 home reverse to West Brom saw Hull City saw the Tigers remain outside the bottom three on goal difference as their winless run was extended to seven games, with four defeats and three draws since their last success at QPR on October 1. That defeat only increased the pressure on boss Tim Walter going into the final international break of 2024. In today's episode, Baz, Prutts, Burnsy and Fletch discuss the game, City's form and what happens next. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

Hull City boss Tim Walter has been roundly criticized for his post-match comments on Saturday after the Tigers' dismal draw with Portsmouth, when he appeared to question the support of home fans with the team booed and jeered off at full-time. Since then, there's been an outpouring of frustration with calls for owner Acun Ilicali to make a change in the manager's office. City have two games this week starting with a trip to Oxford United on Tuesday night and Sunday's visit of West Brom, and in the latest episode, Baz, Burnsy, Prutts and Fletch are joined by Tigers fan Kathryn Batte to discuss the latest. On this week's show, YP football writers Stuart Rayner and Leon Wobschall assess the respective promotion chances in the Championship of both Leeds United and Sheffield United, a few days after the two teams met at Elland Road. The panel also cast an eye over Sheffield Wednesday's stop-start season, with a winning run difficult to come by PLUS they analyse Hull City's performance against Championship leader Sunderland and what the rest of the campaign may hold for Tim Walter's inconsistent team.
Hull City's two home games this week have come to an end with a controversial 1-0 loss to Sunderland and a battling 1-1 draw with Burnley on Thursday night. In typical Tigers fashion, neither were without incident with Tim Walter banished to the stands, and a busy week was up for discussion in the latest episode of the 1904 Club with Baz, Prutts and Burnsy, as they also looked ahead to Saturday's trip to Derby County. Hull City's 3-1 win at QPR on Tuesday night made it three wins on the spin for Tim Walter's Tigers and they will hunt a fourth straight win in their final outing before the international break at Norwich City on Saturday lunchtime. In the latest instalment of the 1904 Club podcast, Baz, Burnsy and Fletch take a look back at that impressive Loftus Road display and ahead to the trip to face the Canaries. A meek 2-0 surrender to Sheffield United underlined the increasing pressure Tim Walter finds himself under as City manager, and a trip to managerless Stoke City must simply be a three point affair for the mood to shift at the MKM. ________________________________________________ Twitter: https://twitter.com/HullCityAFCAus Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/groups/aussi... Hull City's dismal start to the season continued on Friday night with defeat at home to Sheffield United leaving the Tigers without a victory so far this season. Tim Walter claimed it was their best performance of the season, so that was a key discussion point for Baz, Burnsy, Fletch and today's special guest Kathryn Batte - journalist and City supporter. Up next for the Tigers is Stoke City, who sacked manager Steven Schumacher on Monday morning and the quartet looked ahead to that, and what possible implications defeat could have on Walter as he searches for a first victory. As we near the end of the first month of action in the EFL, football writers Stuart Rayner and Leon Wobschall assess the story so far for a number of our teams, starting with Leeds United and Sheffield Wednesday, whose meeting last weekend produced a comfortable win for the Whites. They also turn their attention to a tough start to the season for Hull City under Tim Walter, contrasted by the 100 per cent start to life in League One for Huddersfield Town under Michael Duff. Doncaster Rovers enjoyed a big night out at Goodison Park where they lost 3-0 to Everton in the second round of the Carabao Cup, but they have bigger fish to fry, according to our panel, as do Barnsley one level up, who enjoyed a 1-0 derby win over Sheffield United on the same night.
Ronnie, Skip & Neil are back to discuss all things football. After a long break, the woes are still there with Everton and can Spurs keep the pace after a big win at the weekend. Skip gives us his thoughts on Hulls prospects for the season and the Championship as a whole. We also get top 4 predictions and a long shot multi for the weekend's footy.

Was wird bleiben vom Trainer?
Ruhe in Frieden Franz Beckenbauer.
With the exception of Feng Shui, ‘House Healing' is not a widely accepted practice. Tim Walter is one of the world's most eminent practitioners in what has become known as modern Geomancy. Working with subtleties that can be accessed through meditation, mindfulness and dowsing this he shows how the power of focused intent can be harnessed to improve the relationship between humans, buildings, nature and Mother Earth in simple, practical ways.
