Zoe Marshall is a lot of things. A podcaster, a content creator, an ex radio host, a mother of 2 and she's now an advocate for mindset and manifestation. She's joining us today to talk through why mindset is so important in our lives and the science behind some practices that have been thought of as a bit 'woo woo'. Zoe also speaks about what led her in a different direction from the successful podcast 'the deep' and how we all process and manage trauma. We speak about: How ‘manifesting' has been labelled as only for the privileged Finding purpose in less conventional ways Conscious thought and taking action especially in relationships Reticular activation system Shifting mindset from fear to gratitude It's the feeling, not the ‘thing' that you actually want You can find everything from Zoe here Zoe's course "How to Manifest" - use code LIFEUNCUT for 25% off You can watch us on Youtube Find us on Instagram Join us on tiktok Or join the Facebook Discussion Group Tell your mum, tell your dad, tell your dog, tell your friend and share the love because WE LOVE LOVE! xxSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

She has combined her own spirituality and lived experience in conduction with neuroscience to help people on their own personal development journey. In this episode Kath and Zoe explore their own journeys with spirituality, the art of manifesting as well as debunk and discuss a lot of the misconceptions around the topic. It is easy to assume that our next guest has got it all with her hugely successful podcast, radio and TV career, an adoring husband and two kids. But Zoe Marshall's road to success hasn't been easy overcoming grief, trauma and heartbreak. Now, the popular media personality is sharing her secrets to help you manifest your own brighter future. Almost 20 years ago, writer and media personality Zoe Marshall went through such a deeply traumatic series of experiences – the death of her mother, a family rift and a physically and psychologically abusive relationship – that she considered ending her own life. But then, she leaned into manifestation, or as she calls it, co-creation - and her life took a turn that was almost impossible to believe. In 2024, Zoe has several successful businesses under her belt. She's happily married to former NRL player and now coach Benji Marshall, the mother of two beautiful children, and she's on the brink of a new chapter. On this episode of Something To Talk About, Zoe is very candid about what she calls her “rock bottom”, addressed the intense speculation that has surrounded her husband's strict boundaries between his work and his role as a father and husband and she spoke to Australia's ongoing domestic violence crisis, as a victim survivor herself. If you have experienced or are at risk of family violence, you can call the national counselling service 1800RESPECT. Zoe Marshall is a podcaster, broadcaster and entrepreneur from Australia. She's worked in media for over a decade, from writing a weekly newspaper column to hosting a radio who with her husband Benji Marshall - a prominent football player in Australia. Zoe's podcast “The Deep” is well worth the listen - it does what it says on the box, deep and intimate conversations which for my money normalise the idea that no person is just one thing. Dearest you. A very warm welcome to season eight of this beautiful and ever-evolving podcast. This episode is part of a brand-new series called Checking In With, where I touch base with some of Offline's earliest guests to hear how they're doing today, what they've moved through since we last spoke and of course, how their definition of success has evolved in and around the rich texture of their life experiences. This very first checking-in episode is with one of my best friends, Zoe Marshall. She was Offline's fourth guest way back in season one. Zoe is my emotionally safe friend and while I didn't realise it when I asked her to record with me, that's really what this episode is about – friendship – and how important it is as aware and ambitious people that we have those emotionally safe relationships that we can fall backwards into when we're being stretched to a new edge. I hope you adore this season's honesty. I hope you feel the joy and the pleasure and the play I'm actively seeking following what has been a really hard couple of years. I also hope you adore the explorations into the darker spaces life leads my guests and I into as we seek to land more deeply into our True Self.Thank you for being here.Alison xo Listen to Zoe's podcast, The DeepFollow Zoe on Instagram — Are you feeling the pull to make contact with your True Self and define your highest vision for your career or business? What I know now, couldn't be a more apt title for this episode of the podcast.I drank the odd wine when I was pregnant, a glass of celebratory champagne here and there. And I drank when I was breastfeeding, on one occasion (one of my bestie's 40th's) more than the odd wine. But I didn't know the information I know, now. And I would change that if I had the chance to again. This was a really hard podcast to decide to do - because it's such a controversial topic, and we're always loath to sound like fun police and we are certainly not shaming anyone who chooses to drink - we're just sharing the latest information.I was spurred on to do this podcast because I saw some simply wrong and not based in fact or evidence information on a new mum's site last week.If you'd like more information on drinking and pregnancy here is the official govt download Drinkwise campaign with Dr Andrew Rochford and Zoe Marshall links can be found here FASD information hub here and The Feedsafe app hereFor more on the suite set, and for your discount code WIKN- please visit hereRemember, the information here is from our research and fact-checking and based on our experience, so make sure to always seek your very own professional advice before making any individual medical or wellbeing decisions.

And does it hurt? Rachel has been through it all before so she walks you through the experience step-by-step. And if you're starting to realise parenthood might need a little help from someone else we chat to Sean Szeps who had twins with his husband Josh via surrogate. After Sean’s left alone with the twins for a month he gets a taste of what single parenting is like and it gives him a newfound appreciation for people doing it solo. Plus, have you ever asked yourself if there is a perfect time to have a child? Most parents say “you’re never going to be ready” so Zoe and Sean share when they realised it was time. And have you ever heard of gender disappointment? A friend of Sean’s shared her story of being disappointed by the gender of her baby and the guys weigh in on whether they felt it with their own kids. Zoe and Sean reminisce about life before becoming parents and take a moment to talk about the very real sacrifices they didn’t realise they’d have to make. Sean also shares how he’s managed to get some sense of control back into his life with a new morning routine… Baby steps, Sean. Baby steps! Plus, have you thought about putting your baby in swim classes? How soon is too soon? Sean has just started putting his 18 month year old twins, Stella and Cooper in classes, which for Zoe, raises an even bigger question… Are we grooming kids too early to become “superhumans” and geniuses? And Zoe is cradling a lot of guilt because she yelled at Fox for the first time... Plus, how do you deal with giving up control when friends, family or a babysitter steps in to help you with the little ones? Sean has another baby mishap to share and this one involves a slip in the tub and broken teeth. He talks about how to hold it together when your baby hurts themselves when all you really want to do is collapse in a puddle of tears. Things have gotten real comfy in the studio because Zoe Marshall is pumping…what a way to start the show! Zoe shares her breast feeding experience but we know it’s not an easy journey for a lot of women so we’d love to hear from you. If you’ve had trouble breastfeeding or you just want to give advice to other women who might be finding it tough, please call our podphone on 02 8999 9386. After Zoe has expressed, they tackle a real conundrum....should you teach your child to punch? What happens if you’ve taught them to use their words but they still get aggressive? Sean talks about Stella’s nasty habit of hitting Cooper and what you do when your daughter is more aggressive than your son. Do the same rules apply for boys and girls? We’d love to know your thoughts. And we kick off a brand new segment: “Ask an Old Mum.” Where we call on a seasoned parenting veteran to help us with a question we’re dying to know the answer to. This week Sean asks Mia Freedman: How do you raise a strong, confident woman? Oh, and Sean also has a dooooooozy of a poo story. SO MUCH OVERSHARING! Don’t miss it... Want to take part in our survey? We’re back, baby, and Sean Szeps and Zoe Marshall are discussing going back to work after having a baby. How do you deal with the fact that you’re still the same person but EVERYTHING has changed? Should you feel guilty for being excited about leaving the house and having a shower for once? And how do you deal with colleagues who think comments like: “OMG! I could never leave my baby that early!” are helpful? Plus, how do you get the balance right when it comes to screen time for your kids? Zoe has been letting Fox watch more TV than she’s comfortable with and she’s decided that Peppa Pig is a bad influence. Chocolate for breakfast Peppa? Not on Zoe’s watch! And after being bombarded with your questions about how she got her baby to sleep for NINE HOURS, Zoe gets her sleep training guru, Jen Hamilton, on the line to ask everything you wanted to know. Should you stick to a strict routine or is it better to go with the flow? Is it important to wrap your baby? Music or no music? This weeks episode is wildly not safe for work... but its a good one... We discuss Ted Bundy, fetishes, dead relatives, and a WHOLE lot more. We are joined by long time listener and fan of the show, Zoe Marshall!
Welcome to the very first episode of The Baby Bubble with your hosts Zoe Marshall and Sean Szeps. In this episode Zoe shares her feelings about parenting and admits she didn't always want to be a mum. But now she's OBSESSED. Sean talks about his experience with surogacy and why he asked his mum if she'd like to donate her eggs. He also talks about why him and his husband, Josh Szeps, decided to try for twins, even though that scares most potential parents. They dive deep on baby led weaning. What is it and does it really work? Sean's twins have just eaten something with a fork and he's smug as hell. If your dream is to get your baby off puree'd mush you need to listen. Zoe brags about the fact she had nine hours sleep the night before, which doesn't go down well since Sean only got an hour. But fear not, she doesn't have a miracle baby. It's all because of some strict sleep training. Want to take part in our survey? Are you no longer phased by going out in public with someone else’s vomit on your shoulder? Do you find yourself awake at 3 am, feeding the newest addition to your family thinking “Am I the only person alive right now? It’s so lonely!” Then you are in the Baby Bubble and at Mamamia, we thought you might need a little company. The Baby Bubble is the podcast for parents trying to behave like competent humans on two hours of sleep or for people who don’t have kids but are curious about what you do with tiny people who just poop and cry all day. Each week join mum of one, Zoe Marshall and father of twins, Sean Szeps, for a no BS conversation about what to expect way after the expecting bit is over. Think of this show as your lifeline in the witching hour, a place you can call when you’ve just got your baby to put something in its mouth instead of the floor or a warm set of audio arms that are here to wrap you up when you’re losing your mind and tell you “it’s going to be ok!” The Baby Bubble is the latest show from Mamamia podcasts and it’s hitting your ears January 31st.
