    Mac Clark is the youngest F1600 Champion, a USF 2000 Junior champion who has his sights set on being Canada's next Indy car Series driver. Since his start in karting Mac has been on a trajectory of winning championships and working through the road to Indy. He has won a ton of races including the SKUSA Florida winter tour karting race. In this episode we chat about the difficulties of finding large amounts of money in order to fund a racing career and the methods Mac is using to find sponsorship and funding. We talk about Sim Racing and his set up in his dorm room at college.     Gary and Peter take a look back at thier trip to the 100th anniversary of the LeMans Classic event in 2023. The Legendary Motorcar team took the 1964 prototype GT40 to the historic event. They talk about the race format, how difficult it was to drive during the night stints and the massive event that this was with hundreds of thousands of spectators there to watch cars that have raced in the LeMans 24 hours of the past 100 years.     David Deacon is a singer-songwriter, poet, former champion race car driver, painter, entrepreneur, and an example of how to live life fully In his race car days he won the Canadian endurance racing championship in a Porsche RSR, then BMW sponsored him to race the M1 in the States and then to race for their factory team in 1981 at the 24 hours of Le Mans (he was the first native Canadian to do so). Two years later, Canadian Tire sponsored him, Jacques Villeneuve Sr. and Ludwig Heimrath Jr.  to race Le Mans again.  His business success came by way of being the general manager of the Porsche division of Volkswagen Canada Inc. and founder of the Rothmans Porsche Challenge Cup Series (1986-1991). He and his brother started Azure Dynamics Corp., a very early developer of hybrid electric technology.

The team was driving after a round of golf in Texas when a man with Methamphetatime in his system crossed the center lane and hit the team bus head on killing 9 of the 11 involved.
