Aury M. Curbelo, vCISO Hoy nos honra con su presencia la doctora Aury M. Curbelo, Especialista en Ciberseguridad y Virtual Chief Information Security Officer (vCISO) de la empresa puertorriqueña, con oficinas en Puerto Rico, Orlando y Oklahoma, Digetech. Aury ha dedicado una vida a estudiar el campo de la Seguridad en los Sistemas de Cómputos, tanto directa como a través de la Internet. Además fue profesora sobre el tema en el Recinto de Mayagüez de la Universidad de Puerto Rico. La ciberseguridad no es nueva en Hablando De Tecnología. De hecho, los oyentes del programa saben que hice 19 videos sobre el tema, lo he discutido repetidamente y he traído múltiples invitados en el pasado a discutirlo desde todas las posibles ópticas. Aún así, parece haber un consenso entre la gente de que eso de los “hackeos” es algo así como el cáncer: “le sucede a otra gente”. Bueno pues, cada día que pasa esa “otra gente” se parece más y más a “nosotros”. En días recientes oímos hablar del hackeo de la Autoridad de Acueductos. Antes de eso del del AutoExpreso. Antes de eso Hacienda, etc, etc. etc. La lista sigue creciendo. Lo mismo está sucediendo en el sector privado. Lo que pasa es que ahí lo mantienen más callado. Pero no podemos olvidar el de Colonial Pipeline en los Estados Unidos. Ese fue tan grande que fue imposible callarlo. Y a nivel personal no es muy distinto. Las máquinas secuestradas llueven. Las contraseñas violadas en las redes sociales se ven a diario. Y la gente calla. ¿Por qué? Porque no quieren que los demás sepan lo “idiotas” que han sido. Pero no se trata de ser idiotas. Se trata de no prestar atención. De ignorar la “higiene” al usar dispositivos “online”. De ser “responsables” y “cuidadosos” con nuestros datos y los de la empresa en la que laboramos. Las fallas de “ciberseguridad” no son causadas por la “idiotez”. La mayoría de las veces vienen de la “irresponsabilidad” y la “falta de cuidado”. Y antes de que la cojan con la doctora, eso no lo dijo ella. Eso lo concluyo yo, luego de tantos años con la misma “cantaleta”. La conversación con la doctora Aury M. Curbelo es una voz de alarma. Una voz de alarma porque “para ponerle la tapa al pomo” (como dicen nuestros amigos los cubanos), ahora nos llega ChatGPT a echarle combustible al problema de la ciberseguridad. Ahora los hackers son capaces de hacer en un instante lo que antes le podía tomar horas, semanas, meses o hasta años. Si tu contraseña sigue siendo “123456”, y no utilizas un administrador de contraseñas, eres como una diana esperando el flechazo. Si utilizas la misma contraseña en todas partes, observa bien los videos de los tornados en los Estados Unidos. ¿Has visto cómo pasan por un pueblo y no queda nada? Pues así mismo le puede suceder a tus cuentas de banco y tarjetas de crédito. Nacido en Chile, llegaría a nuestro país por accidente tras largos viajes por Europa, quedándose voluntariamente aceptando ser canónigo de la Catedral de Caracas. Entra en la historia de Venezuela el 19 de abril de 1810 siendo uno de los que irrumpe en el Cabildo para increpar y exigirle la renuncia a Vicente Emparan, ayudando a esta en su momento de fama inmortalizado en muchas pinturas. Pero su vida resulta ser más que este episodio, ejerciendo de diplomático para la Junta Suprema de Venezuela ante el gobierno de la Nueva Granada, y posteriormente siendo uno de los arrestados y deportados por Monteverde a Cádiz acusados de sediciosos. Tras tres años de cárcel, vuelve al país a impulsar el Congreso de Cariaco junto a Mariño, lo que le granjea la enemistad de Bolívar, quién da la órden de arrestarlo, en una enemistad que marcaría el resto de su vida, que lo tiene errante por el Caribe ayudando a otros próceres como Montilla y Aury. Durante esta campaña cae otra vez preso de los españoles, que pretendían enviarlo a La Carraca, pero este logra escaparse haciendo una parada en Veracruz que lo lleva a Cartagena, dónde reunido con Bermúdez, Aury y los otros héroes, resisten hasta la caída y huida a Haití para la Expedición de los Cayos. Más adelante, es encargado de la cruel represión del pueblo de Pasto, cometiendo ejecuciones y crímenes de guerra para rendirlo, y luego para finalizar la guera, se le encarga el sitio de la fortaleza de El Callao, lográndola rendir, y gracias a esto la avenida y plaza frente a esta llevan su nombre. En este Corito Breve Javier Lara (En twitter @vzla_apesta) y Doriann Márquez (En twitter @Hostioso0294) comentan sobre un importante hecho de nuestro proceso de independencia, como lo es la Expedición de los Cayos de San Luis, el punto de partida de la Tercera República, dónde se demuestra la humanidad de Bolívar en toda su expresión. Inicia con el fin de su estadía en Jamaica tras encontrarse con Luis Brión, quién lo lleva a Haití a encontrarse con Alexandre Petión, líder haitiano quién apoyaba la causa de la independencia de las colonias españolas basado en sus ideas de Libertad, Igualdad y Fraternidad. Aquí esté le condiciona el apoyo a su causa a cambio de la libertad de los esclavos venezolanos. Tras este apoyo, Bolívar realiza una reunión con los demás líderes patriotas a fin de resolver problemas entre el liderazgo. De esta manera terminan en los Cayos los líderes patriotas Santiago Mariño, Manuel Piar, José Francisco Bermúdez, Gregor MacGregor, Carlos Soublette, Mariano Montilla, Tomás Montilla, Louis Michel Aury, Francisco Zea, entre otros. En esta reunión Brión propuso darle el mando único de la expedición a Bolívar. Propuesta a la que desde un principió se opuso Aury publicamente con el apoyo de Bermúdez, Piar, los hermanos Montilla; en tanto que en las sombras se oponían y apoyaban esto Santiago Mariño y Francisco Zea. Esto llevó a agrias discusiones, llegando al punto de casi irse a las manos, resueltas tras la intervención de Brión como buen hombre de los reales que era, triunfando la opción de este tras el retiro del apoyo de Mariño a los opositores a Bolívar, luego de recibir el cargo de segundo jefe de la expedición, siendo expulsados de la expedición Bermúdez y Aury de forma triste. Posterior a la resolución de estos conflictos, surge un nuevo conflicto dónde nuestro niño Simón, para la expedición por una semana, debido a que estaba esperando a un culito de nombre Josefina Machado. Demostrando así, que somos todos bolivarianos al parar el trabajo más importante de la vida por cuca, a pesar de la oposición de Brión y toda la expedición. Sin embargo, nuestro Libertador logra convencer a sus colaboradores, y así como un héroe de película obtiene a la chica, derrota al enemigo, triunfa su expedición y consigue su objetivo de llegar a Margarita, a pesar de tantos obstáculos y distracciones.
