Aujourd'hui dans "Les voix de l'économie", Stéphane Pedrazzi s'entretient avec Lorenzo Bini Smaghi, le président de la Société Générale, qui s'apprête à quitter ses fonctions après 11 années à la tête du groupe. L'invité dresse un bilan mitigé mais positif de cette décennie riche en changements pour la banque. Il revient sur la revalorisation de l'action Société Générale ces dernières années, fruit des efforts entrepris, et estime que le groupe est désormais en mesure de jouer un rôle de protagoniste dans la consolidation du secteur bancaire européen. L'économiste évoque également les défis auxquels font face les banques traditionnelles face à l'essor des néobanques et des banques en ligne, un modèle qu'il juge très rentable et prometteur pour l'avenir. Lorenzo Bini Smaghi ne cache pas son inquiétude face à l'écart de performance entre les banques européennes et américaines, qu'il attribue notamment à des différences de réglementation. Il plaide ainsi pour une simplification et un ajustement du cadre réglementaire européen, afin de permettre aux établissements bancaires de redevenir plus rentables et de mieux soutenir l'économie réelle.L'ancien président de la Société Générale s'exprime également sur les défis géopolitiques actuels, comme la guerre en Ukraine, et leur impact potentiel sur l'économie et les marchés financiers. Clinical nurse Bini Mathew has been awarded the Aged Care Association 2026 Nurse of the Year. Bini is based in Palmerston North where she oversees two aged care homes, so is responsible for dozens of residents and staff members. The awards judges' said Bini has embedded cultural techniques into her everyday work and that's helping to improve outcomes for residents; as her boss says, Bini doesn't just talk about better care, she delivers it. Un certo Steven Spielberg, il quale dopo mezzo secolo è ancora uno dei registi più importanti di Hollywood. Ma l'enorme popolarità del film ha paradossalmente oscurato le sue vere qualità: per decenni i critici piùimportanti sono rimasti – letteralmente – alla superfice, incapaci di coglierne gli aspetti più complessi e profondi. Questo volume intende dimostrare che Lo squalo è molto di più di una “micidiale macchina per produrre paura” (come è stato definito con un certo disprezzo) ma un raffinatissimo film d'autore, degno di essere messo accanto alle grandi opere della cosiddetta “New Hollywood” degli anni Sessanta-Settanta (i vari Penn, Altman, Coppola, Scorsese), sia per lo stile innovativo che per il modo in cui denunciava impietosamente i mali della società americana contemporanea.
