Send us a textToday we are traveling across the pond to England to speak to Author, Award-Winning Journalist, and Television Producer Robert Murphy and Retired British Police Officer Michelle Leonard. Ron Evans, aka, The Clifton Rapist, had been arrested and convicted of raping and killing a young woman but only served 10 years in prison. In 1979, when he was released from prison, he went back to his criminal behavior and raped at least 7 young women eluding the police for several years. There was an incredible public outcry for the police to capture this maniac. In complete secrecy, a daring new plan was introduced, unlike anything previously attempted by a UK police force. A small group of young female officers – some just 18 – put their lives on the line, walking the quiet residential roads late at night, acting as bait until one fateful night The Clifton Rapist attacked Undercover Police Officer Michelle Leonard who was acting as a decoy. Please enjoy this incredible story told by the police officer who lived it and the journalist who wrote the book and produced the movie, Decoy: The gripping true crime story of one of Britain's most shocking and secretive historical undercover police operations. In today's episode we discuss:· How Michelle got interested in police work.· How many years she was in the police force when she was approached to become a decoy. · Bristol 1979 being a safe area before the Clifton Rapist started his one-man crime wave. · How the British police force investigated sexual crimes back then without the aid of modern science.· What it was like for Michelle when this homicidal manic attempted to assault her.· Robert Murphy's interest in the case and the book he wrote and the documentary he made depicting this case. All of this and more on today's episode of the Cops and Writers podcast. Please visit Robert's website to learn more about him, Michelle, and his work.Check out the new Cops and Writers YouTube channel!Check out my newest book, The Good Collar (Michael Quinn Vigilante Justice Series Book 1)!!!!!Enjoy the Cops and Writers book series. Please visit the Cops and Writers website.Support the show

In this episode, Dr Mary Fraser considers the role of the British police and Home Front food production in the Great War. Dr Mary Fraser is a social researcher who, for the last 15 years, has been working on the history of police work in Britain. Her current interest is the extended social role of the police, particularly during the First World War. One of the most sickening aspects of the continued Israeli aggression against the people of Gaza is the near-total support it is receiving from Western governments. That is what our guest today on “The Watchdog” tells Lowkey. “Gaza has also exposed the true hypocritical face of the Western countries and those Western values which they have been claiming for years and years,” Dalloul Neder said, adding: "Values such as human rights, the wartime protection of civilians, the rights of patients, doctors, protection of hospitals and of civilians. Gaza was enough to expose Western hypocrisy and complicity – whether it is the United Kingdom or the United States – all such values fell like leaves in Gaza.”Dalloul Neder is a Palestinian man living in Manchester, U.K., who lost five members of his family in a December Israeli attack. He still has many relatives trapped in Gaza, including some who have the right to live in the U.K., but, despite their requests for help, have heard nothing from British authorities. A recent clip of him confronting senior Labour Party MP Angela Rayner went viral as he interrupted her public event, showing the room images of his murdered relatives before he was assaulted and detained by British police. Today, he told Lowkey that his intention was to put pressure on the Labour Party to abandon its near-total support for the Israeli project of destroying and colonizing Gaza. However, as the pair discussed today, that is easier said than done, given that Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer built his career on purging left-wing, anti-war activists from the party, framing their opposition to Israeli aggression as anti-Semitism. Starmer's predecessor as leader, Jeremy Corbyn, for example, was kicked out of the party, along with many of his supporters. “Who is more deserving of a suspension from the Labour Party? Jeremy Corbyn or [Iraq War architect] Tony Blair,” Neder asked Lowkey, who noted that the years of dehumanization Corbyn received from the British establishment was an extension of the dehumanization Palestinians receive to this day. Neder and Lowkey contrasted the duplicitous actions of the West with those of nations in the Global South, especially those of South Africa, which has led the way in attempting to hold Israel accountable for its crimes at the International Court of Justice. “The whole world decided to let us down and kill many more women just like my mother. My mother was part of a wider structure in Gaza: we are now talking about more than 31,000 martyrs, among them 12,000 innocent children killed… God willing, we shall see more examples like South Africa, and justice will be served,” Neder said.Support the showThe MintPress podcast, “The Watchdog,” hosted by British-Iraqi hip hop artist Lowkey, closely examines organizations about which it is in the public interest to know – including intelligence, lobby and special interest groups influencing policies that infringe on free speech and target dissent. The Watchdog goes against the grain by casting a light on stories largely ignored by the mainstream, corporate media.Lowkey is a British-Iraqi hip-hop artist, academic and political campaigner. As a musician, he has collaborated with the Arctic Monkeys, Wretch 32, Immortal Technique and Akala. He is a patron of Stop The War Coalition, Palestine Solidarity Campaign, the Racial Justice Network and The Peace and Justice Project, founded by Jeremy Corbyn. Two of these are alike, and the third is an opposite thing that proves the rule. You see, it's about God, order, and why people feel in their guts that something is wrong. We start by looking at a fascinating piece of spiritual dissonance from Microsoft. Many of Microsoft's employees are atheists or agnostics, yet they have an incredible respect and fascination for the DNA they don't believe God created. We also talk about the disorder being intentionally put into the body of society, with predictable results. It's Thursday, March 9th, A.D. 2023. This is The Worldview in 5 Minutes heard at www.TheWorldview.com. I'm Adam McManus. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Jonathan Clark Nigerian pastor killed by Muslim militants Last Saturday, attackers killed a pastor in Nigeria, Africa. Pastor Musa Hyok with the Church of Christ in Nations died at the hands of suspected Muslim Fulani militants. Two of his sons were also killed. His death comes after Nigeria's February 25 general election. A local leader told International Christian Concern, “The militant came when we were sleeping. They targeted the pastor for preaching to the community not to vote for Muslims as the country's presidents. … The militant promised to attack the Christian communities that failed to vote Muslim during the election.” 575,000 fewer Christian Germans members of church Latest figures show membership in the Evangelical Church in Germany fell by 575,000 people last year. That's a drop of 2.9%. The mainline evangelical group numbers over 19 million people or 23% of Germany's population. An estimated 380,000 people left the group in 2022, outpacing its recorded number of deaths for the first time. Unlike Free Evangelical churches in Germany, the mainline association trends theologically liberal. As of 2019, a third of its membership did not even believe in God. Psalm 10:4 says, “In his pride, the wicked man does not seek [God]; in all his thoughts there is no room for God.” British police arrest pro-lifer for praying silently – again! Alliance Defending Freedom UK reported Monday that British police arrested a pro-life activist again for silently praying near an abortion mill in Birmingham, England, 100 miles from London. Just weeks ago, a court exonerated Isabel Vaughn-Spruce, the director of March for Life UK, after her first arrest last December in a similar incident. Listen to the police tell her that prayer is an offense before her latest arrest. COP: “Can I please ask you to step away from here and step outside the exclusion zone?” VAUGHN-SPRUCE: “But I'm not protesting. I'm not engaging in any of the activities prohibited.” Since Isabel's words were difficult to hear, she said, “But I'm not protesting. I'm not engaging in any of the activities prohibited.” COP: "But you've said you're engaging in prayer which is the offense." VAUGHN-SPRUCE: "Silent prayer." COP: "You were still engaging in prayer which is the offense." Vaughn-Spruce's prayers remind us of the prophet Daniel who also faced government censorship. Daniel 6:10 says, “Now when Daniel knew that the [decree] was signed, he went home. … He knelt down on his knees, three times that day, and prayed and gave thanks before his God.” U.K. Parliament voted yesterday on “censorship zones” around abortion mills Meanwhile, U.K. members of parliament voted yesterday to move forward with censorship zones around abortion mills. As in the case of Isabel Vaughn-Spruce, local censorship zones were already in place. The new measure would impose such buffer zones nationwide. Lawmakers specifically voted down an amendment to protect silent prayer and consensual conversations outside abortion mills. Florida Christian counselors permitted to help minors overcome homosexual attraction Last Friday, counselors won their case against a county in Florida over an unconstitutional ordinance. Palm Beach County had banned counselors from helping minors who wanted to overcome homosexual attraction or gender confusion. Liberty Counsel, a Christian legal group, represented the counselors. Mat Staver, the firm's founder, said, “These victories set a precedent that minors who are struggling with gender confusion can get the help they need from counselors who are free from political censorship.” Unemployment dropped to 3.6% from 5.3% Last Wednesday, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics released unemployment data for last year. Franklin Graham preached in Vietnam And finally, tens of thousands of people gathered to hear evangelist Franklin Graham preach in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam over the weekend. The event was historic. It's the first time the Communist Vietnamese government has allowed an evangelistic outreach with a foreign speaker outside of a religious holiday. Before the event, Graham also met with officials to discuss religious freedom in the country. Christians often face persecution from relatives and authorities for converting out of animism. Graham said many lives were changed during the event. GRAHAM: “Many people put their faith and trust in Christ here in Ho Chi Minh City. We just thank God for the opportunity to come to this country to preach the gospel. We just thank God. He's just done a great work here, and many people's lives have been changed.” Acts 17:30 says, “The times of ignorance God overlooked, but now He commands all people everywhere to repent.” Close And that's The Worldview in 5 Minutes on this Thursday, March 9th in the year of our Lord 2023. A new report from the British Government's independent watchdog warns that police may be vulnerable to spying from Beijing. British Police are still reliant on Chinese-made cameras and security devices, which has sparked concern from the publicly appointed commissioner. UK correspondent Gavin Grey says police forces across England and Wales use camera equipment made by Chinese companies, which has led to concerns that they may be vulnerable to spying. Gary Hayes was born in the East End of London. His family moved to Dagenham where he was raised by his parents who still live in the area.At the age of 17 Gary was preparing himself to join the Royal Green Jackets. Having joined the Army he served in Germany and left the military after 3 years.Gary ran his own business and was involved in the close protection of a number of high profile figures from the world of sport and entertainment including Jerry Lee Lewis. His business partner removed the companies assets and left the UK. Gary was left to deal with the aftermath.Gary eventually joined the British Transport Police and his career was exciting and full of the incidents you would expect for the British Police at that time, until 7th July 2005. This was the day that terrorists carried out their attacks on the transport network in London, a date that will remain in Gary's mind for the rest of his life. Following the attack he was tasked with assisting in the temporary mortuary where the bodies of the bombings were taken following their recovery from the Tube and buses that had been targeted by the terrorists. Gary describes how he assisted in the identification process and hands the remains of eh cowards who carried out the atrocity to the hostile undertakers.During the interview Gary shares his views on stop and search and includes his personal knowledge of knife crime and dealing with the victim of a fatal stabbing. He will also describe how he was involved in an off duty incident that resulted in him standing trial for assault where he was convicted. This resulted in him losing his job despite the fact he had PTSD. The judge identified that he was suffering and as a result gary did not go to prison. The way in which his forces professional standards team conducted themselves still causes Gary anxiety.Gary is the Co-Founder of PTSD999 and gives talks and guidance to organisation including the Police, Military and Fire servicewww.ptsd999.org.uk/www.facebook.com/ptsd999officialhttps://twitter.com/ptsd999The team can be contacted on 07957 252955 Hosted on Acast. David Scott is joined by Dia Moodley of Spirit of Life Church in Bristol. Moodley is the main preacher at this church and, together with his congregation, has been engaging with the public on the streets to discuss the big issues of belief and lack of belief, morality and how to view the world. Complaints from those who do not share a Christian worldview—including transgender and LBGTQIA2S+ people, some adherents of the Islamic faith, and some angry atheists—were received by Avon and Somerset Police. The police response, notwithstanding the lawfulness of the activity, was to engage in a year-long evidence-gathering process during dialogue with Moodley and then to serve him with a warning notice (evangelism ban) under the Public Order Act 1986, ostensibly for his own protection and that of of his congregation. In other words, the aggressive and threatening behaviour of those offended was used as justification for preventing street preaching—an entirely lawful activity. The police, it seems, became allies of the offended. Listen to what transpired: an ongoing fight by Dia Moodley and his church to be able to speak in the public square and engage in peaceful discussion about important matters. He is standing up for the Gospel, and also for critical thinking and the freedom to question any philosophy, belief or idea.

Today we have a very special episode for all of you. British Police Sergeant Ralph Kern Interviews American Law Enforcement Officers Adam Richardson And Patrick O'Donnell! As mentioned, on today's show, we have two of the most esteemed guests this show has ever had. We're going to chat with Patrick O'Donnell and B Adam Richardson, the founder of the Cops and Writers Facebook group, along with the books of the same name, and B Adam Richardson, creator of the Writer's detective School and The Writers Detective Bureau Podcast and Facebook group. These are the go-to resources that anyone who wants to write a cop thriller should use. For those who are a little confused about the role reversal here, when chatting during and after my own show, I realized how fascinating a career and life Patrick and Adam have had and how many questions I had for them. And I can't be the only one in the group who feels like that. It would, pun slightly intended, be a crime not to get that out there for you Cops and Writers. First, can I just express the writing community's thanks for the sheer amount of time and effort you gentlemen put in? Feminist Question Time with speakers from Brazil and UK Women's Declaration International (WDI) Feminist Question Time is our weekly online webinars. It is attended by a global feminist and activist audience of between 200-300. The main focus is how gender ideology is harming the rights of women and girls. You can see recordings of previous panels on our YouTube Channel. WDI is the leading global organisation defending women's sex-based rights against the threats posed by gender identity ideology. There is more information on the website womensdeclaration.com where you will find our Declaration on Women's Sex-based rights, which has been signed by more 30,000 people from 157 countries and is supported by 418 organisations. This week's speakers: Isabela Callegari - Brazil - The naturalization of oppression: surrogacy and the postmodern perspective - Surrogacy has been normalized as part of family planning suited to individual desires in contemporary societies. At the same time that there is no public debate on the subject, the practice is increasingly propagated by celebrities in the media and legitimized, within social movements and academia, as a simple work and a path to the conformation of new non-heteronormative family formats. This presentation aims to oppose such a narrative, based on postmodernism and liberalism, to the feminist understanding of surrogacy as a new and brutal oppression of women within the patriarchy. Bio: Isabela is a mother, economist and activist for women's liberation Julia Long - UK - A Critique of Gender Critical Feminism Bio: Julia Long is a lesbian feminist with a background in research and campaigning and against male violence, who is now focused on building women's community, growing veggies and living the revolution now. Kellie-Jay Keen - UK - On Standing for Women Bio: Kellie-Jay Keen, aka Posie Parker, is the founder of Standing For Women, a global women's rights campaign group. She is a woman, a mother of four and a free speech advocate . She first came into the public eye when interviewed under caution by the British Police for speaking out about the transitioning of children on Twitter and is famous for her "adult human female" T shirts. Her YouTube Channel has 53K subscribers and a clip of her quip "I'm not a vet but I know what a dog is" got 25.5m views on Tiktok. Disclaimer: Women's Declaration International (WDI) hosts a range of women from all over the world on Feminist Question Time (FQT) and Radical Feminist Perspectives (RFP) and on webinars hosted by country chapters – all have signed our Declaration or have known histories of feminist activism - but beyond that, we do not know their exact views or activism. WDI does not know in detail what they will say on webinars. The views expressed by speakers in these videos are not necessarily those of WDI and we do not necessarily support views or actions that speakers have expressed or engaged in at other times. As well as the position stated in our Declaration on Women's Sex-based Rights, WDI opposes sexism, racism and anti-semitism. This week on Drunk Women Solving Crime, we have someone who is not only an asset to THIS force but has been an asset to the ACTUAL force, serving 30 years in the British Police, becoming the first non-white woman to be promoted through the ranks to chief superintendent.Parm Sandhu has also recently starred in a Channel 4 reality show Murder Island, where she advises real-life amateur detectives to solve a re-enacted murder, so stands to reason that we HAD to have her as an honourary 4th member of DWSC!As you would expect Parm is not faint-hearted in the face of crime and so bravely tells the tale of when she was personally caught up in a local crime wave, before putting her 30 years of experience into a cold case involving gums ... we didn't say it would be easy Parm. The Black Spy Podcast Season 2, episode 0005 Hollywood shooting death, how could it happen? Should the British Police be Armed? - A conversion with author, armourer and firearms instructor, Dids Hall. This week's Black Spy Podcast brings you a thought provoking discussion with Did's Hall, author, armourer and firearms instructor. Did's and Carlton discuss firearms in society, including: The questionable shooting death of a Hollywood producer by a world famous actor. Do the movies get firearms use correct. Carlton asks Did's which actor, in his option, portrays the most realistic use of firearms in a movie. Should all British police be routinely armed? Should civilians have the right to bare arms? Can police be fully professional if they don't routinely carry firearms. Does being unarmed mean that British police, must police by consent, whereas the routinely armed police of other countries don't? Are unarmed police forced to be more violent? The historical reason why British police are unarmed. Listeners will note that Dids and Carlton are not in total agreement on these issues, which makes for riveting and entertaining listening. In short, this is another Black Spy episode that goes way beyond simple concepts. This episode is a fine example of the Black Spy Podcast's tendency go deeper, in order to educate. This time on #SWYSI, Peter Hitchens discusses the British police's historic transformation into a form unrecognisable from decades past. He agues that the British police were once unique in the world. They were an important conservative & very English institution which was set up in complete distinction from continental police forces. Parliament had seen European police forces become tools of oppression. They were armed & uniformed state police whose job was to enforce the will of the state -- and it was not felt that such a body should exist in Britain. Consequently, the British police force that was set up was very different: unarmed, not given special powers, limited in their abilities. This is no longer the case. --------------- SUBSCRIBE: If you are enjoying the show, please subscribe to our channel on YouTube (click the Subscribe Button underneath the video and then Click on the Bell icon next to it to make sure you Receive All Notifications)

GuerillaAspies@Outlook.comEmma Dalmayne has assisted the British Police to find, question and even arrest parents and people who put their childrens live in danger through unregulated treatments that are supposed to 'cure' them of being autistic. She has often done this by infiltrating social groups dedicated to such aims, finding out who people are and then reporting them. As seen on the BBC, Channel 4, in the Guardian, Times and Daily Mail newspapers. The unique and I think history making autistic advocate Emma Dalmayne finally gets time to talk to me on the phone. That took some doing.Emma and I have been friends for many years and I have not been podcasting for a while, really because I was after speaking to her. I think her work around exposing the practices of injecting CHL Chlorine Dioxide into the anuses of small children, which killed a UK child, is life saving. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2007/jul/10/usa.edpilkington and https://www.vice.com/en/article/kwxq3w/parents-are-giving-their-children-bleach-enemas-to-cure-them-of-autism-311Quoting the New York Times:...the “bleach cures” movement. The Genesis II Church and Kerri Rivera, among others, have been selling products like chlorine dioxide, marketed as “Miracle Mineral Solution,” or M.M.S., stating that the substances will cure autism, acne, cancer, diabetes, Covid-19 and so much more. This is a crucial red flag for pseudoscience: When a product claims it can cure anything, it's a fake.https://www.nytimes.com/2020/04/26/opinion/coronavirus-bleach-trump-autism.htmlWith six children, several of them at home to with her, Emma has started her own organisation to support both parents and autistic children with regular South London playgroups and meet ups. She has published two books and has spoken on radio and television. She has been consulted by Government in the UK Parliament and only this year was thanked during a meeting in the Palace of Westminster, over the regulation of dangerous practices aimed at 'treating' autistic children. In the belief that this would stop them being what they are. Emma as acted undercover for many years, infiltrating huge online social groups of parents who are secretively putting their own children health and lives at risk. All under the delusion that it will stop them being what they describe as autistic. Emma has taken a lot of personal abuse from such people and has received more threats than I would care to mention on here. https://www.theguardian.com/society/2016/jul/13/fake-cures-autism-prove-deadlyhttps://autisticinclusivemeets.org/about-us/emma-dalmayne/I am proud to call Emma my friend and I hope to carry on supporting her work in the future. Even if it means we have to get ourselves a bit roughed up facing others. Ah well, that's being old Liverpudlian or Scouser for you. We tend to find ourselves at the sharp end... ;)COMMENTS AND FEEDBACK? GuerillaAspies@Outlook.comSupport this show http://supporter.acast.com/guerilla-aspies-autism-aspergers-syndrome-neurodiversity. UK Nazi Covid Cops (60 Mins Duration) If I said what I 'really think' about the recent Nazi tactics of the scum masquerading as the British Police, I would be arrested by their Hitler Brown shirts and toured by their Gestapo goons. You see my friends, I'm old school. We were raised to respect and protect women in those days, not beat them up and murder them...
To begin, the title of our podcast is a generalization many of us are familiar with. Some British police officers actually do carry weapons beyond the traditional police baton. So exactly what is the situation? Let's start with some numbers. In the UK, less than 5% of the police are armed. And these weapons are rarely used. For example, in 2017, out of 15,000 armed police operations, shots were fired only 7 times. See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.
The guys are back in the studio together for the holidays. They get into some news on the Nashville Bombing, discuss why the Dalai Lama is holding up the latest round of stimulus, and discover that David is actually just a WASP cosplaying as a socialist.
Little Tone was in no mood today to tolerate any light-hearted banter from BigTone about his new narrowboat, nor any talk about his planned move to the English countryside. Instead, Little Miss Anarchist got right down to bashing the Police for institutional racism. Being a generation older and undoubtedly much wiser (can you guess who wrote this?), Big Tone mounts a spirited defence of the British Police. In episode 41, I sat down with former Scotland Yard Police Detective Jon Wedger to talk about his experience in the police force in London which eventually ended as him whistleblowing on the alledged cover up of child abuse cases. Now campaigning for the justice of child abuse, Jon talks about what made him become a police officer in the first place, being exposed to corruption and how child abuse cases would allegedly be covered up.Don't forget to subscribe to ‘The Doctor Uz Podcast' on;Spotify- https://tinyurl.com/ybh38ftaITunes- https://tinyurl.com/ycm6zrrdYouTube- https://tinyurl.com/ya26b3r5To find out more, visit us on www.instagram.com/doctoruzpodcast or www.facebook.com/doctoruzpodcast. Topic: Doctor Who Tutorial This week, we discuss the strangest Doctor you’ve ever met. The series is a long running British TV show, practically a staple of any nerd convention, and with the start of a new era in 2005, a modern fixture of Nerds everywhere. His name doesn't matter, he's simply the 'Doctor' and for our first British Tv Show, we couldn't have picked a greater show. Come fine out about Doctor Who! What Doctor Who is a British Science Fiction TV series about a fictional character, known as ‘the Doctor’ who travels through-out time and space, fixing, interacting, and generally learning about events within history, even those that haven’t happened yet. Typically, the show follows ‘the Doctor’ an alien creature with multiple lives as he and a traveling companion, or more, transverse the galaxy/time/universe to encounter various species, bad guys, and historical figures and events, either to help interact with them, or to watch them play out. Following a monster/adventure of the week element, the characters typically travel to a place, either for purpose or because the TARDIS takes them there, and the job of the Doctor is to preserve time or uncover the disturbance and the nature of events happening. The companion typically acts as the show’s self-insert character, so that the world being unique and new is the same for them as well. The series is known as ‘Doctor Who’ due to the ongoing joke of the Doctor not having a last name, and characters being introduced to him, replying, “Doctor who?” When Originally airing in the 1963s, it continued through various iterations until 1989, with the series seemingly put on Hiatus for the time being. The series continued as reruns in British TV and occasionally in America, where it developed a cult following. In 2005, the series was brought back and has continued since then. Typical seasons in the early years lasted about 26 episodes, but later seasons since the 1980s ran for only 13-14 episodes each a season, with a new season each year. With the return of the series in 2005, the individual seasons are typically only 13 episodes long, but tend to take a one year break every two seasons or between Doctors. Currently, the series began airing the 12th Season in January and finished in March. Who the Doctor The Doctor is an alien known as a Time Lord, from the planet Gallifrey. The fictional Race was in charge of watching over the Universe and Time, ensuring that events played out as they were intended to. However, after a fictional war with the Dalek, in which the Daleks won, the planet Gallifrey and all Timelords were destroyed and lost, leaving only the Doctor. The Doctor himself stole an Obsolete TARDIS and used it to travel the universe. As a Time Lord, the Doctor has access to multiple regeneration cycles, or lives. Once the Doctor spends all of his energy or life, he then goes through a process where we changes into a new person, still containing all the memories and knowledge from his past life, but taking on new personality and characteristics. This mechanic allowed the series to continue on when another actor left the role. To date, there have been 14 different actors who have portrayed the Doctor over time. Typically an actor takes on the role for roughly 3 seasons, though some have lasted longer and shorter. While each actor adds or prays the Doctor in different ways, they typically continue to have several key personality traits, such as curiosity, Disarming and Mercurial, wise, melancholy, but holding back some form of darkness. While often childlike and jovial, when pushed, the Doctor can be serious and even threatening. This also includes a deep sense of right and wrong, but is usually dislikes violence of any kind, often being critical of those who use it. The doctor typically knows about every event that has ever happened, along with most major figures of history that play in them, though not necessarily everyone involved. To aid the Doctor he has his trusty Sonic Screwdriver. The Device is like a universal tool, capable of doing just about anything the plot needs, from unlocking mechanical locks, hacking computers, a flashlight, conducting medical scans, microphone, and even as a weapon. The tool basically lets the doctor do just about anything, though it isn’t perfect, and the Doctor often has issues getting the device to work properly. As well, the Doctor carries Psychic Paper: while purely white, if the Doctor mentions credentials or a status, the paper will show such information to anyone who sees it. Similarly, the Doctor’s has a particular look that remains consistent throughout the doctor’s tenure. IE: if the doctor jeans, a black shirt, and a black leather jacket, they are always wearing this exact same costume. The Doctor’s clothes even work like Psychic Paper to locals, so while still wearing the same bit of clothes, locals believe he is wearing period piece clothing. Because the clothing stays consistent throughout the tenure of the Doctor, there have been various signature items that have been worn: Sixth Doctor – Multi-colored Jacket Seventh Doctor – two Long scarves and a straw hat Ninth Doctor – Leather Jacket Eleventh Doctor – bow ties Twelfth Doctor – Bolo, looks like a magician. All incarnations of the Doctors have been Caucasian, British, none of which have had red/ginger hair, which the doctor laments each time. While all previous Doctors have been male, with the Thirteenth Doctor, it was the first time the character was played by a woman. TARDIS Time And Relative Dimension(s) In Space To do so, they travel in the TARDIS, a time-traveling space ship that takes on the form of a 1960s British police box. The TARDIS is perhaps only a 1x1 meter box approximately 2 meters tall, however the internal form of the TARDIS is actually bigger than a house, housing various rooms, closets, a kitchen and an elaborate control system, stylized around a circular room and central control console. While the insides of the TARDIS stretch seemingly forever, the outside remains the same. Originally the TARDIS would change to mirror the location the TARDIS arrived at, as to allow for camouflage with the local area. However at some point toward the beginning of the series, the form got stuck as a 1960s era British Police box and hasn’t been fixed ever since. The TARDIS, itself, is characterized as having its own personality sometimes, either faulting or malfunctioning until a moral or lesson is learned, and acting of its own accord if necessary. Depending on the series, the interior of the TARDIS has also changed to reflect the Doctor’s current life. Companions Companions are characters of our own time period(of which the series was filmed) that act as the primary audience POV for a majority of the show. These characters act as surrogates for the audience, allowing the new elements of the scene or world to be seen with fresh eyes. The Doctor has always traveled with atleast one Companion, if not more, depending on the seasons. Companions often stick around for around two seasons, with some transitioning in to the next Doctor upon regeneration. As of 2005, the Companions have largely been Female, in order to balance out the male lead. While the Doctor has no romantic relationship with most Companions, often seeing them as children who are just following along, but in some cases, the doctor has had some relationships with Companions and other characters in the past. Various bad guys have been introduced to the series over time: Daleks - Riding in mechanical armor shells, they are the oldest and longest lasting villains of the series, having been the villains that defeated and destroyed the Time Lords. Cybermen – Cyborg humans from either a sister world to Earth or a parallel world. They exist as coldly logical and emotionless cyborgs bent on replicating by turning humans in to Cybermen. Weeping Angels – Statues that only move when not looking, they feed off of people by sending back to the moment of their birth and leaching off the ‘Potential Energy’ of a person as they continue to live out their life. The Master – The Archenemy of ‘the Doctor’, he is a renegade Time Lord who wishes to rule over the universe. A number of villains are usually Monsters or Aliens of some sort. Why? The series is a beloved Science Fiction series, often spinning in to different genre at a whim and with ease. One week might be a western, the next a steam punk future, a very technological future, the next week a monster, and so forth, allowing the series to play in different time periods or with different setting each episode. Various spins have been created over time, including the most well known, Torchwood, an anagram of Doctor Who. Torchwood would focus on the present and follow exploits of a team dealing with various issues in and around England and Great Britian, though with less Time Travel as Doctor Who. Wednesday and there is news that tourists coming to Spain will be greeted by beach vigilantes, who will be employed to make sure we all socially distance and bathe in the correct safe way. Day 73 of Spanish Lockdown for a British couple and their three-good legs cat. Find out more here: https://www.thesecretspain.com Day 73 Beach Vigilantes Wednesday week two of Phase 1 and we learn that the Spanish Government is going to make sure that you naughty old tourists behave yourself on the costas, if you decide to take a holiday abroad here. Three thousand vigilantes will be hired by the Junta to police the beaches and make sure your Parasol is the right distance between the family social distance sitting next to you. They will be paid 1,900 Euros a month for the summer period. It will cost 24 million Euros the Vigilantes will report to the Policia Local. It is worth just pausing a moment to explain the police services here in Spain there are three main types. The Guardia who dress like a scary military army, that is because they are a scary military army. They do the highways, ports and rural areas, and will investigate crime in those areas and they work out of, in the case of our local main town. A big, scary fortress like building that looks like it might contain thumbscrews and other such paraphernalia, called a Garrison. All the while you also must remember policing in Spain is not like the consent policing in Britain, if you mucked around with the Spanish police like you sometimes see the British Bobbies suffer in social media videos, you are likely to find the butt of a rifle whacked around your face, or at the very least be flung to the floor, for a jolly good batoning. Next up from the Guardia are the Policia Local, they are more like the British Police, crime prevention, traffic control, a bit like the Guardia and also intelligence gathering – for instance investigating if you might be one of those naughty indoor farmers growing wacky baccy. Then there are the National Police they will be the ones that might give you a jolly good batoning in a riot, they have civilian status. BUT there are various different mixtures of these three main police, remember this is Spain and Autonomous regions have created their own police forces that carry out the functions of one or the other groups of police. Again – really confusing for the Tourist, they all travel around in different colours of cars too, the local police look like a typical police car, the ones from that work for the Autonomous area might have red and yellow cars, looking a little like New York Yellow Cabs and finally the Guardia have white and green cars, usually those big four wheel drive things. It is Wednesday and there has been a lot of drilling and noise from our neighbours below. This has much to do with the way that houses are constructed here. The Spanish have an amazing love affair with Portland cement, pretty much every building you come across is made from the stuff, they pump it out from great elephant trunk things into shuttered wood and build incredible buildings. They are the masters of the cement truck and mixer. No self-respecting Spaniard doesn’t have a cement mixer tucked away somewhere.. that might be an exaggeration. But it is hard to fathom the next stage of building. Once they have completed their cement buildings and walls inside and out, they take a cement cutter and rip holes out of every part of the newly constructed building. In the UK we love a bit of trunking, it is easier to hide behind a stud wall. For the most part Spanish construction uses very little wood. It is very expensive here; I think there were historical political difficulties in persuading countries like Sweden to sell wood to the country. So, no trunking, but tubo – round plastic piping is placed into the gaping cement wounds in a building then plastered into place with a magic substance called Yeso. Yeso comes in two flavours – “bloody hell that dried quite quickly” and “oh shit it has set straight away” Yeso holds up many Spanish Houses in the same way “no more nails” seems to keep British homes together. It means that house building is a very noisy process here. Everything from a simple wall to a three-bedroom villa seems to require a lot of shouting, drilling, banging, crashing, cement mixing, hammering before it gets completed. A special mention must be mentioned about Jesus or Jesus the Grua, he is an amazing local man that owns a large red crane attached to a lorry. He is the person tasked with delivering all the building materials. Clearing away the spoils and dropping plant and cement down the mountainside where it is needed. He does this with the precision of a marksman, not from the comfort of his cab but with a remote-controlled thingy that operates the crane. It is precision work, one moment of distraction and you could loose a corner of your balcony. Yesterday I watched him reverse down our tiny main Estate road in between parked cars, me flattened against the wall, and two oleander bushes. He was magnificent, there could only have been a few inches gap between us all, I am pleased to say he missed us all. I am not sure what the uniform they will give the beach vigilantes of Andalucia but I am guessing it will not be a pair of too tight red shorts and jolly yellow tee-shirt with Baywatch written on it.

The Centre might struck a peace accord with Commander-in-Chief of United Liberation Front of Asom (Independent) chief Paresh Baruah in April, the Outlook has reported. "One of Barua's childhood friends, Rebati Phukan—who “disappeared” in April 2018—is said to be acting as the intermediary between the banned outfit and the Centre. He was apparently drafted by Indian intelligence agencies to break the ice with Barua,” the Outlook story claims. The talks are in the final stages. State Finance Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Tuesday addressed a Press Conference where he appealed to (ULFA-I) commander-in-chief Paresh Baruah & United Liberation Front of Assam (ULFA) to enter into a meaningful peace dialogue with both the Government of Assam and Government of India, ending decade-old militant movement in the state. Sharjeel Imam who was on the run after a case of sedition was filed against him for making controversial remarks on Assam and NE India has been arrested in Bihar on Tuesday. Police teams from Bihar and Delhi conducted raids across various locations to get hold of Imam who is on the run. He will now be taken to Delhi for further questioning. The police had earlier detained Imam's brother during a raid at his ancestral home in Bihar. Imam's brother, as well as another person, whose identity has not been revealed, have been detained by police. Some five states including Assam, Manipur and Arunachal Pradesh have filed an FIR against Imam who was shown making offensive remarks on Assam and the North East in a video. Assam's Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal remembered peasant martyrs of the 1894 Patharughat uprising who laid down their lives to fight the British. He tweeted a picture of Patharighat Martyrs' Memorial where 140 Assamese peasants were killed by the British Police in 1894 when they had risen in revolt against the British Government's high taxation on farm products. Inspired by the Shaheen Bagh protests in New Delhi, a large group of women have launched a similar style of protests from January 26-27 midnight in south Mumbai early on Monday. Terming it a ‘Mumbai Bagh', they are silently protesting against the CAA-NRC-NPR and by morning the crowds swelled even as Mumbai Police rushed to make tight security arrangements at the site at Morland Road-Thandi Sadak. The protesters are mainly Muslim women from minority-dominated areas of Madanpur, Byculla, Agripada, Jhoola Maidan and surroundings who are staging a sit-in agitation, off the Arabia Hotel, near Mumbai Central station. Amit Shah, Union Home Minister, Government of India has shared a video to dent a claim made by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal after the latter invited the former asking him to visit Delhi government-run schools. The video shared by Shah shows the abysmal state of schools the BJP team visited. The video shows leaking roof, damaged furniture and horrible conditions of the toilets. February 8 is the date for the Delhi assembly elections. Three people in Delhi have been quarantined after showing coronavirus like flu symptoms such as cold, cough and respiratory problems. According to reports, the three patients had all returned from China. Until Monday, a total of 33,552 passengers arriving in India from China in 155 flights have been screened. As of now, no positive cases have been detected, according to the Union Health Ministry. A girl from Bihar and a doctor in Rajasthan, who also returned from China, were isolated after showing symptoms.

Turkey's forces have pushed deeper into northeastern Syria, on the third day of Turkey's offensive against Syrian Kurdish fighters. It's set off another mass displacement of civilians. Casualties are being reported on both sides. Iranian officials say two missiles struck an Iranian tanker traveling through the Red Sea off the coast of Saudi Arabia. It's the latest incident in the region amid months of heightened tensions between Tehran and the U.S. Police in northwestern England say a man held in connection with a series of stabbings at a shopping center has been arrested on suspicion of the commission, preparation and instigation of an act of terrorism. Police say several people were hurt. The European Union says it's agreed with the UK to “intensify” Brexit negotiations in a belated attempt to reach a divorce deal ahead of Oct. 31.
Last week, the co-founder of Wikileaks, Julian Assange was arrested by British Police after spending nearly 7 years holed up in the Ecuadorian Embassy in London. WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange arrested by British police after being evicted from Ecuador’s embassy #MAGAFirstNews with @PeterBoykin iWikiLeaks founder Julian Assange arrested by British police after being evicted from Ecuador’s embassy in London WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange greets supporters from a balcony of the Ecuadoran Embassy in London in May 2017. (Frank Augstein/AP) By James McAuley , Karla Adam and Ellen Nakashima April 11 at 7:33 AM PARIS — Ecuador handed Julian Assange over to British authorities Thursday, ending a standoff that left the controversial WikiLeaks founder holed up in the Ecuadoran Embassy in London for nearly seven years and paving the way for his possible extradition to the United States. Jennifer Robinson, Assange’s lawyer, confirmed on Twitter that her client was “arrested not just for breach of bail conditions but also in relation to a US extradition request.” Robinson did not immediately respond to requests for further comment. U.S. authorities have prepared an arrest warrant and extradition papers, according to a U.S. official who spoke on the condition of anonymity. Video of the arrest showed a gray-bearded Assange being pulled by British police officers down the steps of the embassy and shoved into a waiting police van. Assange appeared to be physically resisting. His hands were bound in front of him. Ecuador, which took Assange in when he was facing a Swedish rape investigation in 2012, said it was rescinding asylum because he of his “discourteous and aggressive behavior” and for violating the terms of his asylum. The British government heralded the development. “Julian Assange is no hero and no one is above the law,” Jeremy Hunt, Britain’s foreign secretary, wrote on Twitter. “He has hidden from the truth for years.” Ecuador makes 'sovereign decision' to withdraw Assange's asylum status Ecuador’s President Lenin Moreno announced April 11 that the country had made the decision to withdraw WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange’s asylum status. (Storyful) Sweden dropped its sex crimes inquiryin May 2017 — Assange had always denied the allegations. But he still faces up to a year in prison in Britain for jumping bail in 2012. And, more than anything, he fears extradition to the United States, which has been investigating him for espionage, the publication of sensitive government documents and coordination with Russia. London's Metropolitan Police carried out the Thursday morning arrest and said in a statement that they were “invited into the embassy by the ambassador, following the Ecuadorian government’s withdrawal of asylum.” In response, the Russian government accused Britain of “strangling freedom” by taking custody of Assange. “Ecuador has sovereignly decided to terminate the diplomatic asylum granted to Mr. Assange in 2012,” President Lenín Moreno said in a video statement tweeted by the country’s communications department. “The asylum of Mr. Assange is unsustainable and no longer viable.” Moreno specifically cited Assange’s involvement in what he described as WikiLeaks’ meddling in the internal affairs of other countries, referring to the leaking of documents from the Vatican in January. “Mr. Assange violated, repeatedly, clear-cut provisions of the conventions on diplomatic asylum of Havana and Caracas, despite the fact that he was requested on several occasions to respect and abide by these rules,” Moreno said Thursday. “He particularly violated the norm of not intervening in the internal affairs of other states. The most recent incident occurred in January 2019 when WikiLeaks leaked Vatican documents.” “Key members of that organization visited Mr. Assange before and after such illegal acts,” Moreno said. “This and other publications have confirmed the world’s suspicion that Mr. Assange is still linked to WikiLeaks and therefore involved in interfering in internal affairs of other states.” WikiLeaks confirmed Assange’s arrested and used the occasion as a fundraising opportunity on Twitter. “This man is a son, a father, a brother,” the group said in a tweet, above a headshot of Assange. “He has won dozens of journalism awards. He’s been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize every year since 2010. Powerful actors, including CIA, are engaged in a sophisticated effort to dehumanise, delegitimize and imprison him.” The group had earlier threatened long-term consequences if Ecuador turned Assange over to the British. “If President Moreno wants to illegally terminate a refugee publisher’s asylum to cover up an offshore corruption scandal, history will not be kind,” WikiLeaks said in a statement. Ahead of the U.S. election in 2016, WikiLeaks released tens of thousands of emails that had been stolen from the Democratic National Committee and from Hillary Clinton’s campaign chairman, John Podesta, in cyber-hacks that U.S. intelligence officials concluded were orchestrated by the Russian government. When special counsel Robert S. Mueller III indicted 12 Russian military intelligence officers, he charged that they “discussed the release of the stolen documents and the timing of those releases” with WikiLeaks — referred to as “Organization 1” in the indictment — “to heighten their impact on the 2016 presidential election.” But Assange has been on U.S. prosecutors’ radar since 2010, when WikiLeaks’ publication of 250,000 diplomatic cables and hundreds of thousands of military documents from the Iraq War prompted denunciations by then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and senior Pentagon officials. The Army private who had passed the material to WikiLeaks, Chelsea Manning, was tried, convicted and served seven years of a 35-year prison term before having her sentence commuted by President Barack Obama as he left office. She was jailed againlast month for refusing to testify before a grand jury investigating Assange. In the last administration, Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. decided against pursuing prosecution of Assange out of concern that WikiLeaks’ argument that it is a journalistic organization would raise thorny First Amendment issues and set an unwelcome precedent. The Trump administration, however, revisited the question of prosecuting members of WikiLeaks, and last November a court filing error revealed that Assange had been charged under seal. Conspiracy, theft of government property and violating the Espionage Act are among the possible charges. Some federal prosecutors say a case can be made that WikiLeaks is not a journalistic organization. As if to lay the groundwork for such an argument, in April 2017, then-CIA Director Mike Pompeo, now secretary of state, characterized WikiLeaks as a “nonstate hostile intelligence service” and a threat to U.S. national security. Pompeo also noted then that the intelligence community’s report concluding Russia interfered in the 2016 election also found that Russia’s primary propaganda outlet, RT, “has actively collaborated with WikiLeaks.” Assange’s expulsion from Ecuador’s embassy reflects a shift in the country’s politics since it first extended refuge to him. Leftist former president Rafael Correa, now living in Belgium, is wanted for arrest in his homeland over alleged links to a 2012 political kidnapping. Correa was viewed as a member of an anti-Washington gaggle of South American leaders, including Venezuela’s Nicolás Maduro and Bolivia’s Evo Morales. He kicked out the U.S. ambassador in 2011. The more moderate Moreno, in sharp contrast, has sought to mend frayed ties with the United States, Ecuador’s largest trading partner, and has dismissed Assange as “a stone in my shoe.” In June 2018, Vice President Pence visited Quito, the capital, as part of the most senior U.S. delegation sent to Ecuador in years. “Our nations had experienced 10 difficult years where our people always felt close but our governments drifted apart,” Pence said. “But over the past year, Mr. President, thanks to your leadership and the actions that you’ve taken have brought us closer together once again. And you have the appreciation of President Trump and the American people.” Sebastián Hurtado is president of Prófitas, a political consulting firm in Quito. “I think the president has never been comfortable with Assange in the embassy,” he said. “And it’s not like this is an important issue for most Ecuadorans. To be honest, we really don’t care about Assange.” The Moreno administration had made no secret of its desire to unload the issue. In December 2017, it granted Ecuadoran citizenship to Australian-born Assange and then petitioned Britain to allow him diplomatic immunity. The British government refused, saying the way to resolve the stalemate was for Assange to “face justice.” Another hint that Assange was wearing out his welcome came in March 2018, when Ecuador cut off his Internet access, saying he had breached an agreement not to interfere in the affairs of other states. The embassy did not specify what Assange had done, but the move came after he tweeted criticism of Britain’s assessment that Russia was responsible for the poisoning of a Russian former double agent and his daughter in the city of Salisbury. Ecuador imposed tighter house rules last fall. Among the demands were that Assange pay for his medical and phone bills and clean up after his cat. if this is true and British Police require what I can see is up to 12 Police officers to arrest someone armed with a knife and threatening them. Then I am sorry to that UK has lost it completely
