Eliot Shorr-Parks joins the Morning team to discuss the Birds final cuts. The team ask about CB James Bradberry and Paris Campbell's status.
Eagles defensive backs coach Christian Parker spoke highly yesterday about veteran CB James Bradberry. The Morning Team plays the audio and reacts.
On paper, the Philadelphia Eagles have given QB Jalen Hurts one of the best supporting casts, if not the best supporting cast in the entire NFL. Can Hurts take advantage of it and bounce back from his 2023 season? Can he return to an MVP candidate like he was in 2022 and the first half of 2023? Cooper DeJean's role in 2024 is undefined. Will he play mostly outside corner? Slot? Safety? Will he do it all? What role will maximize his ceiling? Is the Brian Branch, Kyle Hamilton path the best route for Vic Fangio to take? Also: With a crowded defensive back room in place, could general manager Howie Roseman try to trade CB James Bradberry to a contender? What could they get? The Philadelphia Eagles have invested a lot of top draft picks into young defensive prospects over the last three years, will general manager Howie Roseman finally let those prospects carry the unit instead of bringing in band-aid free agent signings? Is he ready to let this year's draft class be a big part of fixing issues such as the cornerback, safety, and linebacker problems? How much belief does he have in Nolan Smith, Jordan Davis, Milton Williams, and Nakobe Dean as they head into Year 4, 3, or 2?Roseman also commented on the future of CB James Bradberry. Could Bradberry still be in the plans for 2024? What other moves that seem to have obvious outcomes could actually go the opposite way? Could S Kevin Byard be retained? Could Josh Sweat actually be on the outs and not Haason Reddick? Also: Head coach Nick Sirianni discussed Jalen Hurts and his leadership style. Week 16 of the Philadelphia Eagles 2023-2024 season is now in the books, and it was a nail biter. The Eagles beat the New York Giants at The Linc by a score of 33-25. The Eagles are now 11-4 on the season, and they are in first place within the NFC East division as we look toward the playoffs. It was an up and down game for both sides of the ball. Jalen Hurts was, at times, on fire. Other times, he was making poor decisions and keeping the Giants in the game. Some on offense are playing “hero ball” and it's not working for this Eagles team in general. The defensive side of the ball, led by Matt Patrica, held up against a not-so-talented Giants offense. Once again, we talked about how CB James Bradberry truly looks cooked at this point in his career. We also noted the concerns with the Birds' pass rush and Josh Sweat in particular. As always, we gave our themes, takeaways and graded the units and coaches. The Eagles will host the Vikings tonight, but Philadelphia will be without CB James Bradberry and RB Kenneth Gainwell. Gainwell has been key in late game situations and Bradberry has been a great addition for the secondary since being added last season. Is it enough to sway Ryan from backing the birds and just sticking with the total? Jets HC Robert Saleh said he "would be shocked" if Rodgers retired following his Achilles injury. The Bears are not very pleased with WR Chase Claypool and are considering benching him for week 2. The Bears traded the 32nd overall pick for the up and coming wide receiver.

Arkansas was one of the biggest stories in College Football in 2021, in year two under Sam Pittman the Razorbacks finished with a 9-4 record and an Outback Bowl victory against Penn State. Going into the 2022 College Football season the Arkansas Football program looks to replicate the success they had last year with KJ Jefferson returning at QB the Razorbacks' season will rest heavily on his shoulders along with RB's Raheim Sanders and Dominique Johnson and Oklahoma transfer Jadon Hassellwood looks to fill the void left at WR with the departure of Treylon Burks. JT Sports gives his thoughts on how good Arkansas will be this season and how they'll fare in a loaded SEC West. The Cincinnati Bengals offense was one of the best in the NFL last season despite having the worse offensive line in the league. However, this year, the Bengals revamped their offensive line bringing in Center Ted Karras, Offensive Guard Alex Cappa, and Offensive Tackle La'el Collins to go along with Jonah Williams and Carmen Jackson. The Bengals going into the 2022 NFL season will have one of the best offensive lines in the game and will give Joe Burrow more time to throw and help him potentially put up record-setting numbers according to JT Sports and they could potentially have the NFL's best offense. The Philadelphia Eagles are one of the NFL's most improved teams going into the upcoming season, trading for star WR AJ Brown to pair up with DeVonta Smith and drafting DT Jordan Davis along with LB Nakobe Dean. The Eagles also signed CB James Bradberry and pass rusher Hassan Reddick. With these moves, many people have high expectations for the Eagles but JT Sports explains why he feels people should pump the breaks on Philadelphia as HC Nick Sirianni and QB Jalen Hurts have a lot to prove this season. Daniel Jones has one last opportunity to show the New York Giants that he has what takes to be their franchise QB, but he's struggled to stay healthy and has gotten worse every season since his rookie year. Can new HC Brian Daboll help save Daniel Jones career? --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/jtsports/support

New Eagles cornerback James Bradberry met the Philadelphia media on Tuesday and talked about being an Eagle, and defensive coordinator Jonathan Gannon is “excited” to have Bradberry mix in to Philadelphia's defense in 2022.
Welcome back to the Views From Lot K! Max and Steve are back on a Tuesday to mix things up and talk about the ever growing offseason for the Eagles that got even better with the signing of CB James Bradberry. The Eagles are having a phenomenal offseason that has people rating them high going into the season, and it may be tied to Howie Roseman taking more leadership in his decisions (01:15). The Union may have drawn against Inter Miami, but listened to Jim Curtin and turned up the aggression for a 2-0 West Coast Win in Portland. Union fans had more reasons to celebrate as former Union starboy Brendan Aaronson was purchased by Leeds United, which seems a few million dollars going to the Union. Max and Steve reflect on what this sell on bonus means for the club, both short term and long term (08:15). The Phillies, of course, drop four games in their six game homestead and the bats are going quiet, right as the bats pick up. Max and Steve discuss what is going wrong with the team, the resurgence of Roman Quinn, and their trip away from home possibly being better than another homestand (22:20). Finally, Bets of the Week (33:45)! All this and more on Views From Lot K! In my own belief, the Sixers did make a huge mistake letting Jimmy Butler walk into free agency two years ago. I broke down why Philadelphia lost 99 to 90 in game 6. Also, I did my own analysis on what Daryl Morey had said about bringing back Doc Rivers for the third season and how Morey could move Tobias Harris or another player to acquire a star player. Yes, Jimmy Butler is playing out of his mind in this postseason but another player that has that same dog mentality personality is Washington's guard Bradley Beal who can potentially be in a Sixers uniform sooner than later. For the Philadelphia Eagles, Howie Roseman is just building a winning team after landing CB James Bradberry in free agency on a one-year deal, 10 million. I think this move was something Philadelphia needed to address and Roseman got it done to fill that hole in the secondary department. Now I understand Marcus Epps could be a sleeper to start in the safety position but if Howie Roseman wants to really impress the people from the Philly area, the birds need to trade for star safety from the Bengals Jesse Bates III who is just a monster attacking opponents in the midfield location. Cincinnati and Bates III are in a disagreement on contract talks. It sounds like the safety doesn't even want to play on the franchise tag and when a player is being asked to play on that type of deal that team may not believe in that player's ability to play for them. #sixers67 #eagles67
The Philadelphia Flyers season was brutal. A disaster. It was the kind of season we weren't expecting, and this organization now need to go back to the drawing board to figure out how to gain any traction of success in the future. Charlie O'Connor from The Athletic and the BSH Radio podcast joined us this week for a deep dive into what this coming Flyers offseason holds for the front office and team. It was a great discussion! But first, we discussed how this Phillies team has been looking after scoring 70 runs in 5 games last week. Are they fooling us? (approx. 4:20)From there, we got into some general baseball discussion about how MLB and the game can become more exciting. (approx. 14:05)Then we gave our thoughts on how this NBA Finals picture is playing out, and which teams are poised to truly win that NBA Championship. (approx. 27:50)We then discussed the Eagles signing CB James Bradberry and the one game from the upcoming Eagles schedule that's a "must see". (approx. 38:50)What we threw down on the Table this week was an incredibly in-depth interview with Charlie O'Connor from The Athletic and BSH Radio podcast about the upcoming Flyers offseason and what it may look like. What kind of coach does this team need? Ryan Ellis and the medical staff issues. How can they change the culture surrounding this team and organization? All of this and much more this week on the Table!
