Dontari Poe and Daryl Worley are publicly available for literally anything and the Cowboys plan on cutting those two if they can’t find a trade partner. But who else could the Cowboys trade before the NFL Trade Deadline? Are players like Aldon Smith, Michael Gallup, Chidobe Awuzie and many more legit Cowboys Trade Candidates? Cowboys rumors on Dontari Poe and Daryl Worley aren’t great for those two. They’ve been horrible this year and are now either getting traded or cut. McCarthy is the ninth head coach in Cowboys history but just the second to enter the position with a Super Bowl title under his belt. McCarthy won Super Bowl XLV with the Packers in the 2010 season, beating Pittsburgh at AT&T Stadium. The Cowboys placed three veterans on IR-Return earlier this week. But the big news centers on right tackle La'el Collins, who will now be out three weeks. He only missed one game in the last three years but will miss three because of a lingering hip injury. The Cowboys also placed Sean Lee and Ventell Bryant on the same list. Lee played 16 games last season for the first time in his career but was expected to rotate with starters Leighton Vander Esch and Jaylon Smith. Lots of turnover this year for the Cowboys, especially on defense. Some of the new faces on the field will be defensive ends Everson Griffen and Aldon Smith, defensive tackle Dontari Poe and rookie cornerback Trevon Diggs. The biggest addition on offense is first-round pick CeeDee Lamb, who creates quite a trio at receiver with Michael Gallup and Amari Cooper. The special teams were a big problem for the Cowboys last year, forcing a change in leadership. New special teams coordinator John Fassel has plenty of experience and knows this Rams team rather well, having spent the last seven years coaching LA's special teams. Fassel said he's excited about both punter Chris Jones and kicker Greg Zeurlein, who was with him with the Rams before. Both players are healthy once again and should be much improved from 2019, according to Fassel. One of the bigger storylines of the week won't really affect the team much until next month. But Randy Gregory was conditionally reinstated by the NFL this week. He can rejoin the team but can't practice until early October and won't be able to play until seventh game of the season. Dallas Cowboys training camp is underway and that means there is a lot of news, notes and hype coming out on Mike McCarthy’s 2020 squad. Cowboys Report host Tom Downey has the latest on Cowboys camp, including news on La’el Collins, Trevon Diggs, CeeDee Lamb, Dontari Poe, Chidobe Awuzie and much more. Cowboys rumors had focused on a possible move to safety for Chidobe Awuzie. However, Awuzie said today that won’t be the case in 2020. He’s expectating to remain a corner. The 2019 Dallas cowboys season didn’t pan out the way many predicted it would. Heading in to the season, Dallas was looked at as favorites to not only win the NFC East, but to potentially make deep playoff run. Needless to say, those expectations quickly diminished after an up & down season in which the Cowboys finished with an overall record of 8-8. Dallas couldn’t generate any consistent momentum throughout the entire season in which they had two 3 game losing streaks and even dropped a must win game in week 16, for what was basically for the division crown, against hated rival and eventual division champs, the Philadelphia Eagles. Ultimately, Dallas would miss the playoffs and Jerry Jones would make some major changes going in to the 2020 off-season.Long time head coach Jason Garrett was relived of his duty as head honcho for big D and will be replaced by former Super Bowl winning coach, Mike McCarthy. McCarthy sat out the entire 2019 season after being fired by the Green Bay Packers. Him and his new coaching staff, which includes OC Kellen Moore and DC Mike Nolan, hope to re-establish a new winning culture in Dallas and wash away any bad stench that the former regime may have left.One of the major questions for Dallas going in to this off-season was, “Will they pay Dak Prescott”. Dallas answered that questioned by franchising their young QB and are pretty much putting him in a "prove it” type situation. Dak’s numbers weren’t nothing to sneeze at in 2019. He threw for over 4,900 yards along with 30 TDs and only 11 INTs. And although Dak’s overall numbers were great, critics still came at him for his lack of ability at pulling out wins in high stake games. Dak’s supporting cast should be awesome in 2020. He’ll be surround by superstar talent, starting with All-star RB Ezekiel Elliott. Zeke had terrific 2019 season as he rushed for another 1,300+ yard season, along with 54 Receptions for 420 yards and 14 TDs total. Dallas receiving core should be one of the top pass catching units in the entire NFL. They were able to resign their pro bowl WR Amair Cooper to a new 5 year $100 million contract, making him the 2nd highest paid receiver in the NFL. His running mates will be 3rd year receiver Michael Gallup, who quietly put up a 1,000 yard season, and rookie 1st round WR CeeDee Lamb, who many experts believe was the best overall receiver in the entire 2020 draft class. Future Hall-Of-Fame TE Jason Witten signed with the Las Vegas Raiders and will be replaced by Blake Jarwin.Dallas offensive line should be entering 2020 fully healthy after taking some bumps all of 2019. Left Tackle Tyron Smith, Right Guard Zack Martin and Right Tackle La'el Collins are all elite players at their respective positions. The only two positions of question on the Great Wall of Dallas will be at Left Guard with Connor Williams and Center, which was previously manned by former All-Pro Travis Fredrick, who retired this off-season.On defense, Dallas posses some very talented players on all three levels. As it stands now, the Cowboys have just one definite, reliable edge rusher in DeMarcus Lawrence. His production did dip in 2019 with only 5 sacks, mainly due to a nagging shoulder injury. He should be able to regain his pro bowl form with a clean bill of health. Dallas did lose his pass rushing partner in Robert Quinn (Signed w/Chicago) and will rely on the services of previous stars Randy Gregory and Aldon Smith. The Cowboys did address the middle of their D-line with the additions of Defensive Tackles Gerald McCoy and Dontari Poe. Both were effective interior presences for the Panthers last year and should continue to be quality run stuffers.The Strength of this Dallas team is with their awesome Linebacking core. Leighton Vander Esch, Jaylon Smith and Sean Lee former one of the best trios at LB in all of football. Baring injury to any one of them, they should be able to wreck havoc on Sundays and be a disruptive force.In the secondary, Dallas took a major blow with the loss of star corner, Byron Jones (Singed w/Miami). He’ll be replaced by second-round pick Trevon Diggs, who has some very big shoes to fill. He'll be accompanied by a cornerback group comprised of Anthony Brown and Chidobe Awuzie. They’ll be shadowed by solid safety Ha Ha Clinton-Dix.Top to bottom, the Dallas Cowboys have one of the top teams on paper. Once again, they’ll be heavy favorites to come out of the East and potentially make a deep playoff run. In Episode 5, I examine all the (many) theories as to why the Chiefs are doomed for a regression in 2017. This has become a very common theme among certain national outlets, opposing teams' fans, and even some Chiefs fans. Such theories include: Alex Smith, a mediocre offense, the run defense, strength of schedule, lack of playmakers, pass rush issues, cornerback starters and depth, the departure of Dontari Poe and Jeremy Maclin, and John Dorsey's firing. Obviously, anything can happen in the NFL, but I decided it was time to see if the theories people have for believing the Chiefs will have a "down" season in 2017 hold up under scrutiny, or if they fall apart when examined more closely  

The Kansas City Chiefs are have moved on from Dontari Poe as they signed a new defensive lineman in Bennie Logan. What kind of an impact will he and the rest of the defensive line have with the Chiefs next year? Farzin discusses the Logan signing and shares why he could be better than Poe.
