Buckle up, because this week we're spiraling into one of the internet's darkest (and most tragically cringey) cults: Incels, a.k.a. self-proclaimed “involuntary celibates” who believe they've been cursed by the universe (read: women) to live a life without love, sex, or accountability. Joining Amanda and Reese for this delightfully horrifying deep-dive are cult comedy kings Henry Zebrowski (@drfantasty) and Ed Larson (@eddietunes) of Last Podcast on the Left (@lpontheleft), here to help us unpack how this chronically online community evolved from obscure message boards into a full-blown belief system complete with its own language, martyrs, and very questionable ethos. We're talking “Chads,” “Stacys,” color-coded pills, doomer memes, and a whole lot of weaponized loneliness. Is this a support group gone wrong? A sad-boy doomsday cult? Or just a bunch of dudes who desperately need therapy and a hobby? Tune in for a wild ride through the cultiest corners of the manosphere—tinfoil hats optional, but encouraged. Episode 5's guest is actor, comedian, writer and podcaster Henry Zebrowski. Henry Zebrowski is a force of nature - well known for his work on the Adult Swim series Your Pretty Face Is Going To Hell, the NBC series Heroes Reborn, and his extremely popular show The Last Podcast on the Left, co-hosted by Marcus Parks, which explores serial killers, cults, aliens, conspiracy theories, the supernatural and the occult. Welcome to SCREAM DREAMS - The Nightmares That Shaped Us! SCREAM DREAMS is the show that delves into our most vivid dreams and nightmares, and how they affect our lives and work. Show hosts are Catherine Corcoran (Terrifier, Return to Nuke 'Em High), James A Janisse (Kill Count, Dead Meat Podcast) and Barbara Crampton (Re-Animator, Suitable Flesh). In this comedy-centric episode, there are also some real nuggets of wisdom. Christmas is almost here, and Henry is bringing the holiday cheer as only he can! He tells us the lengths he will go to in order to become a convincing Santa for today's jaded kids. Henry talks about his intense dreams, how they may be affected by the true crimes he studies, and how the depravities of real human behavior are scarier than any horror movie. He discusses how his favorite shows relax him - but also watching police interrogation videos! And we delve into his nightmares - being accused of murder, and escaping a hostage situation. We discuss women killers, how poisoning is often a method of choice for them, and how premeditated that method can be. Also, just why did Catherine want to keep a deadly poison around in her apartment? We talk about how dogs are in charge of us, the perils of having security cameras in the house (who might be watching them?), the cult of Scientology and how it is a little like ann acting class. Plus, Halloween Haunts, butt-holes and the no-touching rule. James confesses his love of the Hell House movies, but what makes a really good Haunt and which are the best? In this week's Side Barb, we ask – how do you know who might be really dangerous? Barbara has some very practical advice, with a story about a defusing a tense situation when an upset ex-boyfriend turned up at her door. And finally, in our game, Henry has to escape from a bad dream, but our hosts are there to stop him! We really welcome your Feedback - please let us know what you think of the show so far in the comments, suggest any fun nightmare games we might play, as well as future guests you'd like to see on the show! The Last Podcast on the Left's Henry Zebrowski and Marcus Parks join host Aaron Sagers to discuss their second comic book, Operation Sunshine, a Dark Horse Comics horror comedy title debuting Oct. 11 that updates vampires who have real world problems and seek to return to human form. From the twisted minds of The Last Podcast on the Left's Henry Zebrowski and Marcus Parks (DC Horror Presents: Soul Plumber) — and artist David Rubín (Black Hammer) along with colorist K.J. Diaz (The Ones), and letterer Ferran Delgado — is Operation Sunshine, a title published by Dark Horse Comics. Debuting Oct 11, the story revolves around A group of young, alienated vampires known as "bugs" and their plot to steal a magical object from ancient monstrous vampires to turn themselves back to human. Along the way they uncover a sprawling monster underground, a top-secret plot run by the elder creatures, elite militant vampire slayers, and madness beyond imagining blocking their path to humanity. _______________________________________________________________ Talking Strange Paranormal Podcast with Aaron Sagers is a weekly paranormal pop culture show featuring celebrity and author interviews, with a weekly "Small Talk" mini-sode with reader submitted letters and spooky tales. On October 1st, Great Moments in Weed History will join Billy Wayne plus Mike Glazer from Weed + Grub, Frank Castillo from Peak'd and Henry Zebrowski from Last Podcast on the Left for a benefit show at the Mateel Center in Southern Humboldt to help vote down this eradication initiative known as Measure A. On this edition of Parallax Views, Adult Swim, the late night programming block, followed up the Season 6 finale of the popular Rick and Morty with the Adult Swim Yule Log (aka The Fireplace). What started out as a seemingly ordinary yule log video quickly morphed into something more unexpected: a feature-length film. More precisely, a horror movie featuring a cavalcade of genre tropes including UFOs, Satanic cults, murderous rednecks in the vein of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and even a rather devious little imp. Melding humor with comedy, the Adult Swim Yule Log is something that has to be seen to be believed as it's unlike anything you've likely seen before. Joining us on this episode is the Adult Swim Yule Log's writer/director, Casper Kelly. Casper is perhaps best known for his [adult swim] absurdist shorts Final Deployment 4: Queen Battle Walkthrough, the infamous Too Many Cooks, and the TV series Your Pretty Face is Going to Hell starring The Last Podcast on the Left's Henry Zebrowski. Additionally, Casper created the "Cheddar Goblin" sequence for the Nicolas Cage-starring horror movie Mandy and has written for such shows as The Squidbillies and Nickelodeon's CatDog. Oh, and he created the Scooby Doo parody of The Blair Witch Project known as The Scooby Doo Project. Much of Casper's work is available on Youtube and you can check a lot of it out through his website. In this conversation we discuss: - How the feature-length Adult Swim Yule Log came to be - The thematic threads in Casper's work including depression, anxiety, media, and, in the case of the Adult Swim Yule Log, the grappling with the history of American slavery, the idea of "time privilege", and whether we are really progressing as a society or not - Influences on Casper's work; John Carpenter, Sam Raimi and The Evil Dead, David Lynch and Twin Peaks, and the satirical elements of Paul Verhoeven (Starship Troopers, Robocop, and Showgirls) are all mentioned - New media in Casper's projects (yule log videos and podcasting in the Adult Swim Yule Log and video game streamers in Final Deployment 4: Queen Battle Walkthrough) - Making Too Many Cooks, which plays with the trope of 80s/90s sitcom intros; the research that went into making the short and the way in which the sitcom intro-style is both absurdist and realistic in terms of the kind of shows intros it's satirizing/homaging - The question of whether Casper's works are comedic satire or eerie horror - Working within constraints and how those constraints can actually lead to greater forms of creativity - The difference between working on shows like The Squidbillies and CatDog compared to Casper's projects like Too Many Cooks and the Adult Swim Yule Log - Whether or not Adult Swim has been short thrifted by the way some people write it off as "stoner comedy" content - Horror and comedy as genres which are related to each other - The making of the "Cheddar Goblin" sequence in Mandy - Dealing with the issue of slavery in the plot of the Adult Swim Yule Log - And much, much more!

Our recording studio isn't setup in Joey's new house yet - sorry 'bout that! - but please enjoy this wild (and possibly fake?) documentary starring Geraldine Orozco, Henry Zebrowski, and Richard Dolan that we reviewed over at our Patreon a few months ago that focuses specifically about alien abductions of a sexual - and sexual assault - nature. *ORIGINAL PATREON DESCRIPTION* This is a pretty wild one folks - we pre-watched this episode and discussed the Jonathan Sumple directed documentary about the sexual assault side of alien abductions. Are the people actual victims, actors, or a little of both? We can't really tell. It's included with Amazon Prime Video so it's a low-risk watch and we'd love to know your thoughts too!

Allyson is a huge fan of the Last Podcast on the Left, where cohost Henry Zebrowski often speaks about satanism. So, Mike knew this 2019 documentary about The Satanic Temple would be right up Allyson's alley. Penny Lane's documentary follows The Satanic Temple's efforts to use activism and ingenuity to expose the severe lack of separation of church and state within the United States. It also shows how with the rise in popularity of the organization, it begins to suffer its own division. Mike finds a way to talk comedy too! After doing research, the only place he was able to find the Chad Daniels bit about buying tampons was on a compilation called Farts: The Best of Bathroom Humor. It's a terribly named album, and there are dumb fart noises between each comic, but all that aside, the material on the album is largely good. That bit may also be on one of Chad's earlier albums too, but Mike couldn't find it quickly. You should totally check out Chad's work. He's incredibly prolific with tons of albums and specials out there.
