The College Basketball Experience (@TCEonSGPN) of the Sports Gambling Podcast Network previews the Big Ten Conference with their 2023-24 season preview. On the show Pick Dundee aka (@TheColbyD), Ryan McIntyre (@Moneyline_Mac), Noah Bieniek (@NoahB77_), and Rob Donaldson (@RobDFB) break down every single team in the Big Ten and key in on how they think the conference race will shake out. Purdue's season ended after losing to 16-seed Fairleigh Dickinson in the NCAA Tournament. The Boilermakers return almost their entire team including 2023 National Player of the Year Zach Edey. Can Matt Painter lead his squad to a National Championship. Almost everybody returns for Tom Izzo from last year's Sweet 16 run. Are the Michigan State Spartans the Big Ten's best National Title candidate? The Big Ten's 2nd place finishers from last year had 8 losses, and 8 of the top 11 teams finished within two games of each other in the standings. Could the Big Ten's standings be another jumbled mess this season? Maryland has a very talented trio of players in Jahmir Young, Julian Reese, and Donta Scott. Wisconsin returns basically everyone from a disappointing season that was plagued with injuries. Indiana's Mike Woodson looks to stay afloat in the Big Ten by recycling Xavier Johnson as his point guard and boosting his roster with talented freshmen. Chris Holtmann returns to coach Ohio State after hot seat murmurs as he aims for a bounce back season. Chris Collins and Boo Buie guided Northwestern to the program's second NCAA Tournament appearance last year, they're back. Fran McCaffrey attempts to reload at Iowa. Hunter Dickinson transferred out of Michigan. Steve Pikiell attempts to keep Rutgers alive this year with an incredible recruiting class coming in next year. Mike Rhoades brings Ace Baldwin with him to Penn State. The College Basketball discusses all the storylines and more on this episode. ===================================================== Support us by supporting our partners Gametime code SGPN - Download the Gametime app, create an account, and use code SGPN for $20 off your first purchase - https://gametime.co/ Underdog Fantasy code SGPN - 100% Deposit Match up to $100 - https://play.underdogfantasy.com/p-sgpn 4:42 Discuss with fellow degens on Discord - https://sg.pn/discord SGPN Merch Store - https://sg.pn/store Download The Free SGPN App - https://sgpn.app Check out SGPN.TV Support us by supporting our partners Underdog Fantasy code SGPN - 100% Deposit Match up to $100 - https://sg.pn/underdog Follow The College Experience & SGPN On Social Media Twitter - https://twitter.com/TCEonSGPN Twitter - http://www.twitter.com/gamblingpodcast Instagram - http://www.instagram.com/sportsgamblingpodcast TikTok - https://www.tiktok.com/@gamblingpodcast Facebook - http://www.facebook.com/sportsgamblingpodcast Youtube - https://www.youtube.com/@TheCollegeExperience Follow The Hosts On Social Media Colby Dant - http://www.twitter.com/thecolbyd Patty C - https://twitter.com/PattyC831 NC Nick - https://twitter.com/NC__NicK Watch the Sports Gambling Podcast YouTube - https://www.sg.pn/YouTube Twitch - https://www.sg.pn/Twitch Read & Discuss - Join the conversation Website - https://www.sportsgamblingpodcast.com Slack - https://sg.pn/slack Reddit - https://www.sg.pn/reddit Learn more about your ad choices. The Final Four Is Not On The Schedule - A Michigan State Basketball Podcast.

October 5, 2023: After a year in the wilderness with the abrupt midseason departure of former head coach, Mark Turgeon, the Terrapins returned again to prominence in the Big Ten last year. They did it with transfer point guard Jahmir Young under new head coach Kevin Willard from Seton Hall. Maryland made its hay at home last year in the Big Ten but struggled on the road despite being a fairly sound team on both ends of the court. This year, Maryland returns most of its players and adds some top level recruits suggesting that a high NCAA tournament bid is likely in their future. Whether there is enough horsepower to challenge Purdue and Michigan State for the conference title is still in doubt. The fastest way to turn things around for the best would be if the Terrapins could start hitting from outside as they were a dreadful 32.8% last season(#238 in the country). Are you looking for Spartan gear? There's only one place to go to get your MSU T-shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts — Nudge Printing. (https://www.nudgeprinting.com) Nudge is owned and operated by Gabe and Brittany, two MSU alums. The business is operated out of Michigan and screen prints super high quality products. They also have a large assortment of apparel for other schools as well as stickers for your wall, car, or computer. You can also buy our merchandise to sport around town where all the sales proceeds go to support the show. If you have a home in Michigan you know the importance of clearing water efficiently away from your home off the roof. Unfortunately, the outdoor beauty of Michigan means you have to deal with leaves and debris that pile up in your gutters. Sometimes, those gutters also can't keep up with the rain or leave puddles by your foundation. If you live in the Grand Rapids area (Muskegon to Saugatuck to Rockford to Lowell) contact Kurt Stauffer at the Brothers that Just Do Gutters. (https://www.brothersgutters.com/grand-rapids-mi/). If you're anywhere in the metro Detroit area the Brothers have you covered too! (https://www.brothersgutters.com/metro-detroit-mi/). They are real professionals who will clean, repair, or replace your gutters and protect your home quickly and efficiently with friendly service. Mention Final Four to get 10% off your gutter work.

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – University of Miami head men's basketball coach Jim Larrañaga announced Wednesday the hiring of Kotie Kimble as the team's new assistant coach. Kimble's hire is pending the completion of a standard University background check. Kimble comes to The U with 14 years of Division I coaching experience, including the last four at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. “I'm humbled and excited to be a part of the University of Miami basketball program. I'd like to thank Jim Larrañaga for providing me with this amazing opportunity to come work for him, not only in the best conference in the country, but at one of the world's most recognizable schools,” Kimble said. “I also want to express my deep gratitude and appreciation to Ron Sanchez and everyone else who made my time at Charlotte so special. That said, it's truly an honor to be a Miami Hurricane. I will pour all I have into helping this excellent program continue to reach new heights and into assisting our players' pursuit of their goals.” In July 2020, Stadium's Jeff Goodman ranked Kimble as a top-five assistant coach in Conference USA based off an anonymous poll of 20-plus coaches in the league. A renowned recruiter, Kimble helped Charlotte sign the top class in CUSA each of the last four years. Included in that group is Jahmir Young, a three-time All-CUSA honoree, two-time first-team designee and the 2020 CUSA Freshman of the Year. Inheriting a program that went 6-23 in 2017-18, the year before he arrived alongside head coach Ron Sanchez, Kimble helped Charlotte to a 16-13 campaign in 2019-20, good for the team's most wins since 2013-14. The 49ers also went 10-8 in CUSA play in 2019-20 to finish fourth in the league after being picked No. 12 in the preseason poll. It marked the first time the 49ers finished above .500 in conference action since going 9-7 in 2009-10 in the Atlantic 10 and the first time they won double-digit league games since an 11-5 mark in 2005-06 in A10 play. Two years later, during the recent 2021-22 season, the 49ers exceeded that overall win total by going 17-14. Charlotte also again finished 10-8 in CUSA play, giving the team multiple winning league records in a three-year stretch for the first time since 2003-06. The program posted its most road wins (six) since 2011-12 and most conference road victories (four) since 2009-10, both during its A10 era. Meanwhile, Young placed third in the CUSA in scoring at 19.6 points per game, his second straight top-five finish. “Kotie is an excellent addition to our program. He is an intelligent coach with an energetic personality who will mesh well both with the staff members and players already here in Coral Gables,” Larrañaga said. “Kotie's 14 years of coaching experience have him well-prepared to make an immediate impact at Miami. People whom Kotie has worked for and with rave about him. He has climbed his way up through the industry with a strong work ethic, excellent recruiting acumen and tremendous knowledge of the sport.”
