Pricing will not be disclosed for industry competitive purposes. In addition, KNR has also entered into two non-exclusive BioCloud distribution agreements covering Ontario and Saskatchewan. MORE GOVERNMENT FUNDING – On December 3rd, 2020 the Company announced that it had received an additional $500,000 in research and development funding from the Canadian Federal Government. This comes after a $50,000 grant earlier this year. PATENTS FILED – On November 30, 2020 KNR announced the filing of 4 patents for the BioCloud technology with 3 patents filed in the USA and 1 patent in Canada . MANUFACTURING – KNR has engaged OES Inc. a local design and contract manufacturer in London, Ontario to produce the BioCloud units. Elna Egede fra Narsaq i Grønland mistede sin far, da hun var fem år gammel. Han gik ned med skibet Hans Hedtoft. Hele sit liv har hun håbet på, at hendes superfar fik reddet sig selv, og en dag ville dukke op. Denne første episode af Grønlandske Livshistorier fortæller Elna Egede til journalist Annelise Mølvig i sin nye lejlighed i Aalborg, hvor flyttekasserne står stablet op, og kun et par stole er fri. Ti år gammel sendte hendes farfar hende ned til onklen i København, så hun kunne lære dansk. Det var på vej til Danmark, at hun første gang så og hørte en telefon. Den gjorde hende skrækslagen. De første tre måneder i Danmark sagde hun ikke et ord, men endelig begyndte hun at snakke. Da hun var 19 år gik hun på seminariet i Nuuk, men så blev hendes mor syg og døde. Det betød, at hun måtte rejse hjem til Narsaq og blive mor for sine tre yngre søskende - ikke bare mor, men hun måtte også droppe uddannelsen og tage arbejde for at kunne forsørge dem. De fik ingen socialhjælp. Kommunen mente, at de ikke behøvede, fordi de var jo pæne i tøjet. Oplevelsen af et socialt system, der ikke var der, har gjort, at hun hele sit liv har haft et skarpt øje for sociale problemer. Da hendes søskende kunne klare sig selv, uddannede Elna Egede sig til journalist på Danmarks Medie og Journalisthøjskole i Aarhus og har senere arbejdet på AG, KNR og Nuuk TV, der senere blev til Nanok TV. Ind i mellem har hun arbejdet som freelancejournalist. Især på Nanok TV oplevede hun de dybe sociale problemer, der stadig er i Grønland, og hvordan socialt ramte familier ikke kan få den hjælp, der var nødvendig. Hendes holdning er, at Grønland er nødt til at se de sociale problemer i øjnene og løse dem, for at landet kan komme videre.

Mia Gerdin och Ulla Strängberg fortsätter sin grönländska resa i Nuuk, huvudstaden med 17000 invånare, 1/3 av hela landets befolkning. Den legendariska musikgruppen Sumé bidrog på 70-talet till att skapa en nationell självkänsla i Grönland. 1979 fick man "Hjemmestyre" och 2009 blev landet självständigt i alla frågor utom utrikespolitik. Vi träffar producenten Karsten Sommer som numera jobbar på grönländska radion, KNR och som på 70-talet grundade skivbolaget ULO.-Sumé var en kulturell bomb, säger Karsten Sommer. Det stärkte självkänslan hos grönländarna, som så länge varit koloniserade av danskarna. Sumé lade grunden till den nationella identiteten, ett musikaliskt arv som tagits vidare av hiphopen.Vi går runt i det fina kulturhuset Katuaq, format efter det böljande norrskenet, vi tittar på nya färgstarka lägenhetskomplex och lär oss att bostadspriserna är lika höga som i Danmark, vi besöker den nya gallerian och åker i Grönlands första rulltrappa, och får veta att:"Alla grönländare är diktare och musiker" - Kim Larsen, Selvstyrets kulturdepartement.Kristian Mölgaard är en ung, egensinnig filmare som fick viral spridning med sin video om den globala uppvärmningen."Alla grönländare är diktare och musiker"-Det var tänkt som en ironisk och skämtsam kommentar, säger han. Över huvudtaget verkar inte grönlänningarna särskilt oroade över klimatförändringarna. Utom proffsen på Klimatinstitutet som studerar permafrostens tinande och märker hur vissa arter försvinner.- Det finns en annan grönländsk självmedvetenhet och stolthet Idag är det grönländarna själva som framför samhällskritiken, inte bara folk utifrån. Innan vi tar det röda planet till Köpenhamn, konstaterar vi att Grönland genomgått en snabb förändring sedan sekelskiftet. Turismen har ökat markant, man börjar diskutera mineralbrytning (det omstridda uranet t ex) och man står inför stora utmaningar när det gäller att upprätthålla service på avlägset belägna platser längs kusten i väglöst land.
