Frankie Poupolo another South Shore HC legend started coming down to our area with Death Before Dishonor. He would later start a project called Trust In Few, which Richie Krutch was a part of. Frankie is a family man and had to opt out of touring with DBD to work full time in a Union Sound/Stage Hand in the Boston area. He is absolutely one of the funniest guys you can run into as well as one of the most talented self taught musicians that I've ever met. From the minute I hit record, I had a blast talking to my old friend about his backstory, his excitement for the new role in WiC and what to expect next. I only wish I had more time to go deeper into the story, but he's a working man and took the podcast on his lunch break. Dan Butson played guitar for a handful of Rochester area bands from 1995-2002 before moving to New Orleans. We talk about the bands Dan played guitar in (Initial Doubt, Something Sacred, and a few other locals).  He also talks about his experiences living in New Orleans for most of the last two decades. Some of these include selling records to Trent Reznor and performing at Mardi Gras. We also talk about the music scene in New Orleans, hurricanes, wrestling and plenty of other relevant topics. RLND (pronounced Roland) is a four-piece rock band from San Francisco, CA. They have at turns been referred to as “Kinda like Tool” “Too loud” and “The most ferocious underground metal band around,” although the latter came when the bassist had a broken foot-- take that as you will. RLND is debuting a new single and wild new video for "Public Chefs" off their upcoming album 'ZEALAND,' a concept album that the band explains is "built around our collective narrative as a capitalist society." "'Public Chefs' is kind of the odd track out on the record musically and (director) Tsunami said he had an idea for a video for the song," RLND guitarist Joe McClune tells No Echo. "He ran with the thematic idea behind the song, which is basically the wholesale distraction of the population at large with smoke and mirrors.
