This week we get to catch up with one of the original and most popular Perpetual Chess guests, GM Jan Gustafsson. Jan, of course, is a renowned opening theoretician, commentator and trainer, who has worked on GM Magnus Carlson's World Championship team, and is currently the coach of the German National Team. Jan has recently released a highly anticipated Chessable course, Gustafsson's  Aggressive 1. This week I am excited to be joined by chess YouTube star and popular Chessable author, NM Robert Ramirez. Robert has a unique story amongst master-level players, as he spent his early years in Cuba, and began tournament chess at the relatively late age of 12. As one of the older kids in his chess class in Cuba, Robert felt like he had to “play catch up” from the beginning, and this perspective steered him toward less popular openings like the Pirc defense and the King's Indian Defense. Robert continued his pursuit of chess when his family emigrated to the U.S. in 2016, and ultimately became a successful chess teacher. With less work and extra free time during the pandemic, Robert launched his YouTube channel. Robert's channel took a while to catch on, but he now has over 120,000 YouTube subscribers. His Chessable course, which is based on his battle-tested repertoire has drawn rave reviews. Robert showcases an ability to relate to people and a lucid teaching style that likely contributes to the success of everything that he does. Dan reformacije zaznamujemo ob obletnici začetka gibanja za prenovo cerkve, ki jo je s 95-imi tezami zahteval nemški duhovnik Martin Luther. Za nas je praznik pomemben zaradi protestantskih piscev, ki so poskrbeli za prve knjige v slovenskem jeziku. Na to je v nagovoru na sinočnji osrednji proslavi spomnila predsednica republike Nataša Pirc Musar in posebej omenila Dalmatinovo Biblijo.Sinoči je bilo slovesno v Lendavi, danes bo predvsem v Puconcih in na Rašici. Generalno skupščino Združenih narodov je na sedežu organizacije v New Yorku nocoj nagovorila tudi predsednica republike Nataša Pirc Musar. V govoru je izpostavila podnebne spremembe, reformo Varnostnega sveta, pasti digitalne dobe in enakost spolov, ob tem pa je opozorila, da najbolj žgočih izzivov današnjega časa ne morejo rešiti posamezne države, ne glede na njihovo velikost ali moč. "Nismo tako bogati, da bi gradili poceni." To je danes med obiskom prizadetih območij dejala predsednica države Nataša Pirc Musar. Kot je pojasnila, bi morebitne naslednje visoke vode vnovič vse odnesle, če bi gradili slabo. Dopoldne je obiskala občini Ljubno in Luče v zgornji Savinjski dolini. Domačini so ji povedali, da si od države želijo jasnega in čimprejšnjega odgovora, ali se bodo še lahko vrnili v svoje domove ali bo treba te porušiti. Dolgotrajna bo tudi sanacija okolja zaradi onesnaževanja v preteklosti: rezultati analize mulja potrjujejo, da je najbolj problematično porečje Meže. To kar dobrega opusti in slabega stori, niso več začetniške napake, v komentarju na Časnik.si piše Andrej Tomelj.

Ob dnevu državnosti se spominjamo dogodkov pred 32-timi leti, ko je takratna slovenska skupščina sprejela ključne dokumente za odcepitev Slovenije od takratne Jugoslavije in nastanek samostojne države. Ob prazniku so se ta konec tedna vrstile številne slovesnosti, osrednja državna je bila včeraj. Predsednica republike Nataša Pirc Musar je v nagovoru med drugim poudarila, da se moramo vsi zavzemati za človeku prijazno državo. Preostale novice: Poljska poostrila varnost na meji z Belorusijo, potem ko se je tja umaknil prvi mož Wagnerja. Na volitvah v Grčiji se zmaga obeta vladajoči konservativni Novi Demokraciji. V Benetkah bodo morsko dno čistili s pomočjo robota.

Ocena filma Režiser: Miha Čelar Nastopajo: Janko Pirc in drugi Piše in bere: Petra Meterc Film Konoplja osvobaja Mihe Čelarja kot glavno ogrodje dokumentarnega filma uvede pripovedovalski glas glasbenika Ramba Amadeusa, ki nas z ležernim tonom glasu v podlagi popelje skozi teme, o katerih je govor v filmu. Pripovedovalčev glas z dobršno mero humorja napoveduje nove zgodbe v filmu in jih mimogrede tudi pokomentira. Podobno razpoloženje vpeljujejo animacije, ki med različnimi deli filma delujejo kot sproščeni premori med poglavji. Čelar v ospredje filma postavi Janka Pirca, lastnika trgovine Konoplja osvobaja, po kateri je dobil naslov tudi film. Pirc, ki je bil obsojen zaradi vzgoje osmih sadik konoplje, s katerimi je želel pomagati bolnemu sinu in ženi, je bil po sodni bitki leta 2016 oproščen, pozneje pa je nasproti sodišča, kjer je potekal proces, odprl že omenjeno trgovino. V filmu izvemo za sodno bitko, vendar pa se prizori osredotočajo predvsem na njegovo delo in posel danes. Dejstvo, da je bil pred leti sam zaradi pridobivanja kapljic CBD na sodišču, film osvetli predvsem skozi pogovore z zdravnikom s pediatrične klinike ter tudi z raziskovalcem z Inštituta Jožef Stefan. S tem pokaže, da se danes konoplja vse bolj in bolj uporablja tudi v običajni medicini, tak primer je tudi zdravljenje otrok z epilepsijo. Pozneje film ponudi zgodbe aktivistov iz tujine. Tu je denimo Filip Dostovski iz Severne Makedonije, ki je, ker je sam imel Hodgkinov limfom, izdeloval olje CBD in ga brezplačno delil bolnikom, ki bi ga potrebovali, dobil pogojno kazen na sodišču. Danes v njegovi državi konopljo za proizvodnjo istega izdelka lahko vzgajajo tisti s približno milijon evrov v žepu, ki jih lahko vložijo v izgradnjo zakonsko zahtevane infrastrukture in zaposlitev kadra. Če se na začetku filma pojavi napis, ki govori o tem, da je leta 2021 Pfizer z zaslužkom od cepiv proti covidu-19 za skoraj sedem milijard dolarjev kupil majhno farmacevtsko podjetje, ki je uspešno pri razvoju zdravil na podlagi konoplje, je ravno severnomakedonski primer tisti, ki v filmu praktično pokaže, kaj pomeni vstop farmacevtske industrije na to področje. Film se sicer ozre tudi po primeru iz Španije, kjer delujejo društva za legalno rekreativno uživanje marihuane, pa po Švici, kjer se ta legalno proizvaja in prodaja v običajnih trgovinah, s čimer pokaže tudi druge prakse. Čeprav dokumentarec prikaže kopico primerov iz tujine, osrednjega protagonista pa kaže pri procesu pridelave, pogosto umanjka kontekst različnih zakonodaj ali pa jasna pripovedna nit, ki bi se osredotočila le na eno plat pridelave in uporabe konoplje. Predvsem pa film s prizori, ki protagonista kažejo v sporih z inšpekcijo zaradi nošenja mask med pandemijo ali pa njegovih srečanjih s somišljeniki, ki bolj kot o konoplji govorijo o domnevni škodljivosti cepiv, zaide od osrednje teme, zaradi česar se, glede na prikazano, lahko zagovornike uporabe konoplje v zdravstvene namene poenostavljeno enači z nasprotniki cepljenja.

Danes zaznamujemo dan upora proti okupatorju kot spomin na slovensko odporništvo in nastanek osvobodilne fronte, osrednje odporniške organizacije Slovencev v drugi svetovni vojni. Osrednja državna proslava je sinoči potekala v Šoštanju. Slavnostna govornica, predsednica državnega zbora Urška Klakočar Zupančič, je izpostavila pomembnost sodelovanja politično različno mislečih. Predsednica republike Nataša Pirc Musar je v poslanici poudarila, da moramo biti ponosni na pogum bork in borcev, ki so omogočili obstoj slovenskega naroda. Da so vojne so v nas in med nami ter da jih hrani vsaka beseda, ki žali, ponižuje ali razdvaja, pa je zapisal premier Robert Golob. Drugi poudarki: - Telefonski pogovor Šija in Zelenskega uvod v pogajanja za mir v Ukrajini? - Vlada ni pomirila kmetov: če v dveh tednih ne bo boljših rešitev, bodo stopnjevali proteste. - Pevski zbor Pinko Tomažič se že 50 let bori za mir, svobodo in človekove pravice.

Predsednica republike Slovenije Nataša Pirc Musar ni le vrhovna poveljnica obrambnih sil, ampak tudi državnica, ki z užitkom polaga ovinke. V bencin se je zaljubila na Pony Expressu, danes pa s Kawasakijem lovi idealno linijo na Grobniku. Težko se je sprijaznila z dejstvom, da mora volan zamenjati za zadnji sedež predsedniške limuzine.  . Predsednica republike Nataša Pirc Musar je v predsedniški palači prevzela posle od predhodnika Boruta Pahorja. Tako je začela petletni mandat kot prva ženska na tem položaju v zgodovini naše države. V včerajšnjem nagovoru po prisegi je napovedala, da se bo oglasila vsakokrat, ko bodo ogrožene suverenost, enakopravnost, pravičnost in socialne pravice. Preostale novice: Državni zbor razglasil izide referendumov o zakonih o RTV Slovenija, vladi in dolgotrajni oskrbi. Nekdanji ameriški predsednik Trump sprožil napad na Kapitol, je razvidno iz poročila pristojnega odbora. Božički na kolesih razveselili otroke in starostnike na Kozjanskem.

V predsedniški palači bo dopoldne Borut Pahor predal posle novoizvoljeni predsednici republike Nataši Pirc Musar, ki bo tako tudi uradno začela pet letni predsedniški mandat. Nataša Pirc Musar je včeraj že prisegla pred državnim zborom. V nagovoru po prisegi je napovedala, da se bo še zavzemala za pravno državo, vladavino prava, temeljne človekove pravice in avtonomijo državnih podsistemov. Drugi poudarki oddaje: - Na dan ustavnosti predsednik ustavnega sodišča Matej Acceto poudarja delovanje pravne države v kritičnih razmerah. - Objavljeno bo poročilo ameriškega kongresnega odbora o domnevni vpletenosti nekdanjega predsednika Donalda Trumpa pri napadu na Kapitol. - Ime leta na Valu 202 vodja pro bono ambulante Vida Drame Orožim.

Prvi dogodek zanjo v funkciji predsednice bo udeležba na nocojšnji proslavi pred dnevom samostojnosti in enotnosti, za prvo uradno pot v tujino pa načrtuje turnejo po zahodnem Balkanu. V državnem zboru bo popoldne, na seji ob dnevu samostojnosti prisegla prva predsednica države Nataša Pirc Musar. Petletni mandat bo uradno začela jutri, ko ji bo posle predal predhodnik Borut Pahor. Odhajajoči predsednik glede izzivov za državo poudarja nujnost sodelovanja celotne politike, glede Zahodnega Balkana pa da mora Slovenija Unijo opozarjati, da gre za regijo kot celoto. V predsedniški palači sta se danes o primopredaji poslov pogovarjala odhajajoči predsednik Borut Pahor in novoizvoljena predsednica republike Nataša Pirc Musar. Da bo prenos pooblastil potekal nemoteno, se bo nova predsednica z vsem, kar jo čaka, začela seznanjati po 5-em decembru. Po preštetih 99,99 odstotka glasovnic je dobila nekaj manj kot 54 odstotkov glasov. Anžeta Logarja je podprlo dobrih 46 odstotkov vseh, ki so prišli na volišča. Svoj glas je v drugem krogu volitev oddalo nekaj več kot 898 tisoč volivcev oziroma 53 odstotkov vseh upravičencev, kar pomeni, da je bila udeležba višja kot v prvem krogu. Po štirih predsednikih republike, Milanu Kučanu, Janezu Drnovšku, Danilu Türku in Borutu Pahorju, Slovenija torej dobiva prvo predsednico. Za Natašo Pirc Musar je v drugem krogu glasovalo 53,86 odstotka vseh, ki so danes prišli na volišča, Anže Logar je dobil 46,14 odsotka glasov in je že čestital novoizvoljeni predsednici. Čestitala sta ji tudi predsednik republike Borut Pahor in premier Robert Golob. Ta izvolitev predsednice vidi kot dokaz, da si državljanke in državljani želijo živeti v državi, v kateri bodo spoštovane temeljne prvine demokracije.

Izteka se volilna kampanja pred nedeljskim drugim krogom predsedniških volitev. Kandidata Nataša Pirc Musar in Anže Logar imata za nagovarjanje volivk in volivcev čas še do polnoči. Pred drugim krogom volitev za Predsednika Republike Slovenije, ki bodo 13. novembra, smo v studiu Radia Ognjišče soočili oba kandidata, dr. Natašo Pirc Musar in dr. Anžeta Logarja. Vprašanja so bila povezana s funkcijo predsednika republike, želeli smo namreč čim več vsebinskih odgovorov na povsem konkretne teme.

V nedeljo bomo v drugem krogu predsedniških volitev odločali, kdo bo nasledil Boruta Pahorja v predsedniški palači, čez tri tedne bodo predmet odločanja trije vladni zakoni: o vladi, dolgotrajni oskrbi in o RTV Slovenija. Šest dni pred drugim krogom predsedniških volitev se zmaga nasmiha Nataši Pirc Musar. Tako kaže raziskava javnega mnenja, ki jo je na vzorcu tisoč anketirancev od drugega do četrtega novembra za našo medijsko organizacijo izvedla agencija Valicon. Napovedal je tudi, da bodo v četrtek na vladi sprejeli zakon za 4,5-odstotno za redno uskladitev pokojnin, enak predlog pa bodo poslali na Ekonomsko-socialni svet za dvig minimalne plače - Opolnoči se bodo znova podražila pogonska goriva in ekstra lahko kurilno olje. Za liter bencina bo treba odšteti 1,6 centa več, dizel in kurilno olje pa bosta dražja za dobrih 9 centov. - Rishi Sunak je postal novi vodja britanske konservativne stranke, kar pomeni, da bo v kratkem postal tudi novi britanski premier. To je še tretja menjava za krmilom države in stranke v dveh mesecih.

Dan po predsedniških volitvah Anže Logar in Nataša Pirc Musar po zanesljivem preboju skozi prvo volilno sito začenjata drugi krog nagovarjanja volivk in volivcev. Zdaj bodo štele razlike med njunimi stališči in dejanji, čez tri tedne pa bo jasno, ali bomo dobili prvega predsednika z desnega političnega pola ali prvo predsednico. 52. teden slovenske drame, ki je med 27. marcem in 8. aprilom potekal v Prešernovem gledališču v Kranju, je tudi to leto nekaj prostora namenil mladim dramatikom in dramatičarkam. No 2022. gada 1.februāra Latvijā sāks darboties iepakojuma depozīta sistēma. Kā tas ietekmēs mūsu iepirkšanos un atkritumu šķirošanas ieradumus, interesējamies raidījumā Kā labāk dzīvot. Skaidro "Depozīta iepakojuma operators" valdes priekšsēdētājs Miks Stūrītis un Latvijas dabas fonda klimata eksperts Ojārs Balcers. Abi raidījuma viesi ir pārliecināti, lai arī sistēmas ieviešana ir krietni ieilgusi, bet beidzot tā būs un noteikti no iepakojuma depozīta sistēmas būs ieguvumi: būs tīrāka vide, mazāk atkritumu, papildus motivācija nepiesārņot vidi, būs arī papildus ienākumi un būs arī papildus pārstrādāti resursi. Šobrīd Latvijā pārstrādā ap 45% plastmasas, mērķis ir, lai tie būtu 90% nodotās plastmasas.  Depozīta sistēmā varēs nodot tikai tās pudeles, par kurām būs iemaksāts depozīts jeb drošības nauda. Tās pudeles varēs iegādāties tikai no 1. februāra. Pircējs iemaksās papildus depozītu - 10 centus. Miks Stūrītis vērtē, ka dzērienu cenas nepieaugs, jo jau šobrīd maksā līdzmaksājumu esošajā atkritumu apsaimniekošanas sistēmā un ražotājam viena veida maksājuma vietā būs cits. Depozīta sistēmā varēs nodot visa veida bezalkoholisko dzērienu taru - ūdens, limonādes, saldināto dzērienu un sulu iepakojumu, visa veida alus iepakojumu, neatkarīgi no stipruma, arī vājo alkoholisko kokteiļu un sidru iepakojums. Stikls, skārdenes un pet pudeles. Nevarēs nodot depozīta sistēmā stipro alkoholisko dzērienu, piena produktu un vīna tara. Uz iepakojumu, kuru drīkstēs nodot, būs depozīta uzlīme.

Nedavna razkritja spolnih in psihičnih zlorab v gledališču in izobraževanju, ki so postala del vstopila tudi v prostor javne refleksije, so pomemben korak h kolektivnemu ozaveščanju o tej akutni problematiki. Obstoječe prakse umetniških in izobraževalnih procesov pogosto izhajajo iz močnih hierarhičnih struktur in nadvlade patriarhalnih vzorcev. Vanje se zlahka in pogosto tudi "nevidno" naselijo zlorabe pozicije moči ter spolno in psihično nadlegovanje podrejenih v imenu umetnosti in napredovanja. Temu je bila v okviru 51. Tedna slovenske drame posvečena okrogla miza, z naslovom Spolne in psihične zlorabe v polju gledališča, študijskih procesov in izobraževanja. O razmislekih, ukrepih in akcijah, ki jih izvajata Združenje dramskih umetnikov SLovenije in Društvo slovenskih avdiovizualnih igralcev ter o skupini Rezistenca, ki deluje v okviru Univerze v Ljubljani, v pogovorih z gostjami okrogle mize. Marko Pirc zadnji dve leti živi v Stockholmu, zaposlen je v podjetju Profoto. Ponujajo profesionalno studijsko opremo, v zadnjih letih pa se širijo tudi k manj profesionalnim uporabnikom. Pravi, da bo tradicionalna fotografija ostala na sicer visoki ravni, a napredek vidi le še pri mobilni fotografiji. Retāk nekā pirms pieciem gadiem arī  izmēģinām jaunumus un arī mazāk cilvēku izvēlas bioloģisko un ekoloģiskos produktus. Tā, iepazīstinot ar pētījuma datiem, norāda SKDS vadītājs Arnis Kaktiņš. Arī lielveikalu tīklā "Maxima" šī tendence manīta, atzīst Jeļēna Popjonoka, uzņēmuma biznesa analītikas nodaļas vadītāja. Bet kritums nav pilnīgi visām ekoloģiskās pārtikas kategorijām. Piemēram, ekoloģiskās garšvielas un dārzeņi kļūst arvien vairāk pieprasīti. Kā skaidrot šādas izmaiņas, pagaidām atbildes nav.

Pētījums "Pircēji jaunajā realitātē" rāda, ka gatavošana mājās ir jaunā realitāte daudzās ģimenēs, 56% norādījuši, ka gatavo mājās šajā laikā un tikai katrs piektais plāno atgriezties pie agrākajiem paradumiem. "Rimi Labākai dzīvei" programmas eksperte, sertificēta uztura speciāliste Olga Ļubina atzīst, ka cilvēku atbildes liecina, ka cenšamies ēst veselīgāk, vairāk pievērš uzmanību produktu sastāvam, kur tas ražots. Ļubina bilst, ka var atzīmēt pozitīvas izmaiņas Latvijas iedzīvotāju ēšanas paradumus: cenšas iekļaut dārzeņus, dzert vairāk šķidrumu. Veselīga un laimīga dzīvesveida entuziaste Kristīne Beitika atzīst, ka pandēmijas laikā mazāk ēd ārpus mājām, jo maltīte līdzpaņemtā traukā tomēr atšķiras no maltītes, ko var baudīt kafejnīcā klātienē. "Esmu novērojusi, ka esot mājās vairāk piedomāju pie regulārām un kvalitatīvām maltītēm, jo reizēm, kad esi darba skrējienā ārpus mājām, atceries pārāk vēlu, kad esi pārāk izsalcis, ir vairāk kārdinājumu," atzīst Kristīne Beitika. "Sliktā ziņa, ka mājās virtuve ir pārāk tuvu darba vietai un palielinās uzkodu skaits. Tik ērti ir pieejami nopirktie augļi un dārzeņi, varbūt saldumi. Ik pa laikam pamani, ka netīšām esi pie ledusskapja jau dienas vidū, kad to nevajadzētu darīt." Kristīne Beitika dalās pieredzē, ka sev kalendārā ieliek arī atpūtas pauzes, tāpat kā darbu. "Es vienkārši eju ārā no mājām. Divas reizes katru dienu eju ārā no mājas vismaz stundu, lai izvēdinātu galvu un nomierinātos. Tad arī mazinās kāre pēc papildus ēšanas un našķošanās," atklāj Kristīne Beitika. Vēl viņa secinājusi, ja nepaēd pusdienas pulksten 12 , "tad vienos vai divos grābju visu, kas pa rokai". Tāpēc neizlaist maltītes ir svarīgi. Uz galda viņai arī stāv ūdens pudele un "tiešām dienā izdzeru divus litrus ūdens". Pandēmijas laika ieguvums - pasūtīt pārtiku attālināti, vērtē Kristīne Beitika. Tas ļauj arī pārdomātāk izvēlēties. "Zinu savu sajūtu, kad ieeju veikalā izsalkusi un vēl nogurusi. Tajā brīdī mans groziņš piepildās ar ļoti neveselīgām izvēlēm, kuras es apzināti nepirktu. Tāpēc man patīk apmeklēt no rīta lielveikalu klātienē, kad ir svaigāka galva un vairāk enerģijas. Esmu paēdusi brokastis un man ir vairāk motivācija iegādāties kvalitatīvās izvēles, kas tiešām nāk par labu," stāsta Kristīne Beitika. "Esmu izveidojusi arī sarakstu ar lietām, kas man garšo, būs našķis, bet nebūs nekvalitatīvas. Piemēram ļoti cukurotu saldumu vietā izvēlēties ābolus vai citus augļus, svaigi spiestu sulu vai burkānus. Paņemt riekstus, dateles, bet šokolādi izvēlēties ļoti kvalitatīvu un garšīgu un arī retāk." Medicīnas zinātņu doktore, sertificēta dietoloģe, interniste, Rīgas Stradiņa universitātes (RSU) Sporta un uztura katedras asociētā profesore, vadošā pētniece un projekta vadītāja RSU Sabiedrības veselības institūtā Laila Meija vērtē, ka daļā sabiedrības ir interese par veselīgu uzturu. Daudz jauni cilvēki paši gatavo, daudz jauni vīrieši paši gatavo. Skats pavisam pesimistisks nav.

Nākamo trīs gadu laikā e-komercijas īpatsvars Baltijas valstīs pieaugs līdz 12 %, bet 30% no mazutirdzniecības pieauguma nodrošinās pirkumi internetā., liecina SEB bankas veiktais pētījums. Tas ir daudz vai maz un kas traucē e-komercijas attīstībai Latvijā, vaicājam ekspertiem un praktiķiem raidījumā Kā labāk dzīvot. The Piecemeal Internal Roth Conversion (PIRC) may be indispensable to your retirement plan. There are two massive risks that could waylay your retirement journey and prevent you from living a happy and stress free retirement. The first is tax rate risk, the risk that tax rates in the future will be dramatically higher, and the second is longevity risk, where you run out of money before you die. Historically, financial planners have been decent at mitigating either one or the other of those risks but rarely good at mitigating both. If you’re mitigating tax rate risk, you are executing a series of Roth conversions in a way that stretches out your tax liability over time but quickly enough that you get it done before tax rates go up for good. You should really try to get your financial house in order before 2030 if possible. Dealing with longevity risk is fairly simple and involves accumulating more money in your retirement portfolio but this can be a challenge for most people. The 4% Rule has fallen out of favor in recent times and that means using your stock market portfolio to fund your lifestyle needs has become much more expensive. The other option is to offload that risk to companies that deal in mitigating that risk but they typically come with a few downsides. A fixed index annuity is another option that people have traditionally used to mitigate longevity risk. The problem with the traditional approach that financial advisors use to mitigate longevity risk is they typically do it to the exclusion of mitigating tax rate risk. 99% of advisors implement a fixed index annuity within the tax-deferred bucket and once you begin receiving that income it is impossible to receive that income in any other way. If you draw a guaranteed stream of income via an annuity in your tax-deferred bucket, the whole purpose can be thwarted if tax rates go up. If tax rates double in the future and you are relying on that income, you will have half as much money as you expected and will have to spend down your other stock market assets to compensate. The second issue is that the money will count as provisional income and cause social security taxation, compounding the problem and requiring more money to come from your stock market portfolio. Combined, these problems can lead to running out of money 7 to 10 years faster. Many companies allow you to do a Roth conversion prior to drawing against the annuity but they usually require you to convert the entire dollar amount in the same year. This can result in most of that money being taxed at your highest marginal tax bracket. There are only a few companies that allow you to do a Piecemeal Internal Roth Conversion where you can do those conversions over whatever timeframe your financial plan calls for. By getting the conversion done before tax rates go up for good, you have insulated your guaranteed stream of lifetime income from tax rate risk and when coupled with other streams of tax-free income, this can cover your lifestyle needs in a guaranteed way for the rest of your life. The traditional approach to mitigating longevity risk permanently exposes you to tax rate risk. Insurance companies and advisors have not been historically interested in mitigating both types of risk and you need to find an annuity company that offers a Piecemeal Internal Roth Conversion feature if you want to find the right solution.

Sales with Anja Rogan Pirc Selling is a difficult skill. Graham's career started in sales but we have Anja Rogan Pirc to tell us all about sales from her perspective. Anja is world famous because she's an international best-selling author, a public speaker and a charming person! Also, we just want to congratulate Kevin again on becoming a Grandad to baby Louis! Sending love to the family! Anja's journey to sales It started in sales door to door about 10 years ago. Anja was originally an au pair in England and she felt bored when the kids were at school or when she had the weekend off. Therefore, Anja was creating holiday and Christmas cards - being a creative soul - and sold them door to door. It was just for fun really. But, when she went home, reality sank in that she needed to either go back to university or get a job. Without a diploma, it is hard to get a job that isn't low-qualification, such as cleaning, etc. But, another option was sales and so Anja tried that, selling vacuums door to door. Though this sounds boring, Anja was excited about this product because it was a vacuum that helped people with asthma. For her, this job wasn't just about selling. It was about the product itself and being excited about it, to help her sell well. From there, Anja found other industries which she helped promote. She was present wherever she could be, helping run seminars for example. When she was behind the curtains, there were lots of opportunities to learn for free because you can see how everything is put together and managed. In Kevin's industry, quite a lot of the leaders - indeed, almost all - will be male. So, a stand-out woman will stand out because of her extra value. Selling in general comes down to the idea of an attractive value proposition, and it's this proposition that has to come through rather than the personalities or genders (etc) of the people selling. Graham notes that, on Anja's website, she has the sort of questions that Graham (being a fellow salesperson) knows he would have. It shows her skill because sometimes you might have had a rubbish day. One of the first questions Anja poses is: "Are your potential clients or customers currently saying no to you?" And this tunes into your struggle with sales. Some have mainframe issues, where they struggle with the product; they might not feel confident or competent enough to deliver that product. Others may simply not be able to sell right - you don't have a system and don't know what steps to take and how to take those steps so that the process feels natural and leads to an organic and certain question "when do we start?" The price won't matter because both the value and the process feels right. Some people struggle to gain converts because they are going to where they think they are needed. Now, we know that you should never go to where you are needed. You should go where you are wanted. Essentially, the reason prospects say no will not be the same for everyone. But these aspects will filter through the reasons for you personally. One of the key things to remember - no matter what we are selling - is we are selling to people. Marketers and sales people are people-people. John Pirc ( @jopirc ) - Research Vice President John Pirc is a noted security intelligence and cybercrime expert, an author and a renowned speaker, with more than 15 years of experience across all areas of security. The co-author of two books, “Blackhatonomics: An Inside Look at the Economics of Cybercrime” (published in December 2012), and “Cyber Crime and Espionage” (published in February 2011), Pirc has been named a security thought leader from the SANS Institute and speaks at top tier security conferences worldwide. Mr. Pirc’s extensive expertise in the security field includes roles in cybersecurity research and development for the Central Intelligence Agency, Chief Technology Officer at CSG LTD, Product Manager at Cisco, Product Line Executive for Security Products at IBM Internet Security Systems, Director of McAfee's Network Defense Business Unit and, most recently, Director of Security Intelligence at HP Enterprise Security Products, where he led the strategy for next generation security products. Auf dem großen Ayurveda Kongress 2010 bei Yoga Vidya Bad Meinberg hat Dr. Karin Pirc einen Vortrag zum Thema „Ayurveda und Erleuchtung“ gehalten. Dr. Pirc ist Humanmedizinerin und Psychologin, sowie Buchautorin. Seit 1993 leitet sie als ärztliche Direktorin die Maharishi Ayurveda Privatklini in Bad Ems und wurde 2006 als „Bester Ayurveda-Arzt 2006“ ausgezeichnet. Hört selbst ihre Ausführungen. Dies ist der erste der Vorträge in der Reihe der Ayurveda-Kongress-Vorträge. Prizma optimizma je naša terenska varietejska oddaja, s katero gostujemo po slovenskih krajih in ki razveseljuje poslušalce že od leta 1978. Namenjena je starejšemu občinstvu, vendar se tako z glasbenimi kot z govornimi vsebinami in z optimizmom nastopajočih dotakne tudi mlajših in naključnih poslušalcev. Optimizem in dobro voljo ustvarjalci oddaje in njihovi gostje sejejo z izvrstnimi glasbenimi in govornimi vložki, ki se jim tako obiskovalci v dvorani kot radijski poslušalci radi nasmejejo od srca. V vsaki oddaji v odrsko dogajanje vključimo tudi nekaj obiskovalcev in predstavnikov okolja, v katerem gostujemo. Stalnica oddaje sta Big Band RTV Slovenija in »gagajevec« Tilen Artač v vlogi psihologinje Ifigenije, vse pogosteje pa tudi glasovni multipraktik Sašo Hribar. Za oddajo skrbi in jo vodi Milan Krapež.
