0:00 ... Ross hello & welcome ... introduces panel and dedicates episode #156 to Stephen Curry for his 56 point game against Orlando in February. 1:23 ... Ross tees up discussion of the Knicks big win over Boston on Monday night, giving NY a 3-1 lead in their playoff series.  World B feels it was one of the most impressive Knicks games in more than two decades. 3:32 ... Bruce felt that even with an 11 point lead at halftime, the Celtics were not in great shape because the Knicks stayed attached the entire game. 5:04 ... Jayson Tatum played great until he injured himself in the final minutes but it appears to be a serious injury and it sure looks bad for his return on Wednesday. for game 5. 8:00 ... Bruce appreciated Tatum's scoring heroics in game 4, but took issue with some of his shot decisions and how they helped stifle the Celtics ball movement, thus playing into New York's hands.  World B points out how Boston plays a lot of isolation ball and when they don't penetrate into the paint, they can be successfully defended. 10:46 ... With Tatum likely unavailable in game five, the guys discuss who might step up for Boston.  Jrue Holiday might be ready to have a big night. 13:08 ... Ross and World B discuss the pressure NY may feel if Boston can somehow take game 5 on Wednesday.  World B has lots of praise for Tatum and how much he respects him. 15:08 ... Ross is concerned that Kristaps Porzingis may be physically unable to step up in to help fill the void that Tatum leaves in game five. 15:39 .... The Cavaliers are being curb stomped by Indiana as they also trail their series 3 games to one.  They may not be dead, but they're close to dead.  The Cavs are lucky that Sunday's blowout only counted for one loss. 22:30 ... Bruce puts Bennedict Mathurin on notice that moves like his bush league punch in game 4 will get him extra scrutiny from the refs if the Pacers move on.  World B feels like Indiana has exhibited some punk-like behavior in the series. 23:59 ... The Thunder and Nuggets are tied at 2 games each out west and OKC's defense has carried the team with their offense not looking especially sharp. 25:15 .... Bruce predicts that Shai Gilgeous Alexander will received his MVP Award on Tuesday night before game 5.  Bruce feels that OKC's defense wore down the Nuggets in game four and in the final quarter caused the Nuggets to "drop their hands" like a boxer who absorbs too many punches to the ribs.  Ross predicts a Nuggets win in game five and a seven game series ... World B agrees and has high praise for Aaron Gordon of the Nuggets for his performance.  Ross feels Gordon is their 3rd most important player. 32:33 ... Game four of Timberwolves/Warriors was underway as the show was being recorded on Monday night and none of the guys felt that Golden State would come back to take the series.  Julius Randle was having another big game and has found his playoff groove in Minnesota.  With Steph Curry injured, they just need more scoring than they can muster right now. 36:14 ... The Draft Lottery took place on Monday night and the guys respond to the Dallas Mavericks beating the odds and earning the right to draft Cooper Flagg in June's NBA Draft.  Bruce was thinking that when the Spurs made it into the top four, they might once again get the 1st overall pick as they did with Victor Wembanyama, Tim Duncan, and David Robinson in previous NBA Drafts. 37:50 ... The saddest teams in the league have to be Charlotte, Washington, and Utah, all of whom were hosed in the lottery and missed out on the #1 overall pick. 41:08 ... The guys take issue with ESPN's star NBA journalist Shams Charania claiming that Giannis Antetokounmpo discussed leaving Milwaukee for the very first time this weekend when he actually did it on our podcast back in September of 2023.  We playfully demanded an apology but offered to kiss and make up if he joins us on a future show to talk hoop!  Giannis' comments on 48 Minutes were instrumental in helping the Bucks to acquire Damian Lillard, which required them to trade Jrue Holiday to Portland and led to the trade to the Celtics. 44:10 ... Ross was on Milwaukee radio today and told the host "Sparky" Fifer that Bucks fans shouldn't panic because Giannis is loyal to the Bucks and the city. 45:38 ... Milwaukee can't expect to get equal value in return for Giannis in any trade because players of his caliber are hardly ever are traded.  Oklahoma City has the assets needed to entice the Bucks into a possible trade, so we'll see if those teams do business in the off-season. 50:10 ... Ross wraps things up and says goodbye. TRT 50:33

Marcus Morris is back on The Kevin O'Connor Show, and didn't hold back on any of his takes. Find out why Marcus believes Anthony Edwards is exposing JJ Redick as a rookie Head Coach, why he thinks the conditioning (and defense!) of Luka Doncic is perfectly fine, and what the Lakers need to do to make this a series. Plus, Marcus weighs in on what Ty Lue needs to change for the Los Angeles Clippers to regain the upper hand against the Denver Nuggets. Morris explains why he sees Giannis Antetokounmpo taking his talents to South Beach this summer, and why the Orlando Magic need to trade for Trae Young this offseason, too. Morris went in on everyone from Pat Riley to Ja Morant to NBA refs, and even had time to tell us why Shedeur Sanders' NFL Draft slide made him angry! Then Ethan Strauss and Sam Esfandiari both stop by to give their takes on the Golden State Warriors' 3-1 lead on the Houston Rockets. (00:00-25:53) – Query & Company opens on a Tuesday with Jake Query and producer Eddie Garrison discussing tonight’s game five between the Indiana Pacers and the Milwaukee Bucks. They both agree that it is a foregone conclusion that Indiana will win the series, but they still don’t want to count their chickens before they hatch. (25:53-33:42) – Jake and Eddie shift their focus to the Milwaukee Bucks and trying to figure out how they can find a way to beat the Pacers in three straight games. Eddie brings up what the Pacers must do defensively with no Damian Lillard. (33:42-47:46) – Hour number one concludes with the seventh-round pick for the Indianapolis Colts, Hunter Wohler, joining the show! He takes Jake through what it was like getting the call that he was being drafted by the Colts, working with one of the Colts defensive coaches during the Senior Bowl, and discusses football being the first sport that he fell in love with. (47:46-1:13:17) – ESPN.com’s Stephen Holder joins Query & Company and Jake begins their conversation by talking about tonight’s game five between the Indiana Pacers and the Milwaukee Bucks. Stephen also comments on what the Colts plan to do at tight end following the selection of Tyler Warren, explains why he likes the selection of DJ Giddens, and evaluates how the Colts are going to address the vacancy at right guard. (1:13:17-1:18:43) – Earlier in the program Eddie mentioned his grandma’s love for Snow White and the seven dwarfs. It leads to Jake recalling that conversation to explain his theory as to how people come up with nicknames for their grandparents. (1:18:43-1:29:05) – Hour number two concludes with Jake and Eddie playing what the Inside NBA Crew had to say last night on TNT about the potential series between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Indiana Pacers. (1:29:05-1:52:38) – Scott Agness from Fieldhouse Files join the show to tip-off the final hour of the show to provide his take on how tonight’s game will go between the Pacers and Bucks. He correctly guesses which play Jake references with knowing how the night is going to go early on, and recaps how the first two of practices have gone for the Indiana Fever in training camp. (1:52:38-2:04:20) – Milwaukee Bucks radio analyst Justin Garcia makes another appearance on Query & Company ahead of game five tonight to try and predict what type of Milwaukee Bucks team will show up. He also comments on just how the series has gone so far, admits that he was hoping for a first-round matchup against the Knicks instead of the Pacers, and believes that Giannis will have to put the team on his back and will them to three consecutive wins. (2:04:20-2:15:48) – Today’s show closes with Jake and Eddie sharing some final thoughts on the Pacers win last night by focusing on Myles Turner’s greatness early in the game a season ago. Finally, JMV joins the guys in studio to chat about last night’s game for the Pacers.Support the show: https://1075thefan.com/query-and-company/See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Munaf Manji and Mackenzie Rivers talk NBA playoff betting for the firs round. The guys break down each series and give out predictions and best bets. In the “NBA Playoffs 1st Round Preview + Best Bets” podcast, Munaf Manji and Mackenzie Rivers deliver a detailed analysis of six confirmed playoff matchups. Starting with Bucks vs. Pacers, they highlight Damian Lillard's Game 1 absence and potential Game 3 return. Despite Indiana's strong finish and better trendline, both lean Milwaukee in six games, citing Giannis' dominance, Halliburton's road struggles, and playoff pedigree. Munaf mentions Doc Rivers' questionable playoff history and the Bucks' edge in rebounding and roster depth. Next, Knicks vs. Pistons shows New York as a clear -400 favorite. Mackenzie highlights Detroit's weak half-court offense and inexperience. They agree Jalen Brunson is the best player in the series and pick Knicks in five, suggesting -2.5 games as a value bet. For Celtics vs. Magic, Boston is a -5000 favorite. Mackenzie acknowledges Orlando's improvement to 17th in offense post-All-Star despite losing Jalen Suggs but criticizes their three-point shooting and sees Game 1 as a blowout. Munaf agrees, pointing to Boston's depth and perimeter strength. They recommend a Magic team total under and predict a sweep or five-game series. Clippers vs. Nuggets is the tightest series, priced at -110 each. Mackenzie is hesitant to trust Kawhi Leonard's health but notes the Clippers were strong late season. He values Denver's playoff-tested core of Jokic, Murray, and Porter Jr., even with coaching changes. Munaf favors the Clippers in seven games, citing Ty Lue's ability to adjust and Harden's solid season. Both suggest betting the series after Game 1, with Denver favored by 2.5. In Lakers vs. Timberwolves, Munaf backs the Lakers based on star power and playoff history. Mackenzie points out their mediocre net rating and questions public overconfidence. He critiques Julius Randle's poor playoff stats and remains skeptical of Minnesota's secondary scoring. While Mackenzie sees potential in the Timberwolves, he passes on betting them now. Munaf lays the four points with the Lakers, expecting a statement in Game 1. In Rockets vs. Warriors, the hosts praise Houston's growth but highlight their lack of playoff experience. Mackenzie notes Golden State's poor half-court offense but trusts Curry and Green's pedigree. Munaf calls it a development year for Houston and picks Warriors in six. They mention the low total for Game 1 and expect another under, given both teams' tendencies. Mackenzie's best bets are Knicks -7 and Trae Young under 26.5 points vs. Miami, based on historical defensive matchups. Munaf echoes the Knicks pick and supports Lakers -4, banking on home energy and playoff urgency. For Heat vs. Hawks, Munaf leans over on Miami's team total, while Mackenzie prefers fading Trae Young. They note past eighth-seed play-in games are 6-1 to the under. For Mavericks vs. Grizzlies, Munaf leans under and highlights Dallas' defense, while Mackenzie passes on a side but acknowledges Memphis' volatility. Both hosts ground their takes in net rating, recent trends, EPM data, and postseason form. They avoid hyperbole, focusing on betting value, historical angles, and matchup dynamics, giving listeners a sharp and disciplined first-round betting guide. Learn more about your ad choices.
