The Phillies faced off against the Nationals last night in an exciting matchup. For most of the game, the Phillies were in the lead, but in the 9th inning, the Nationals took a 6-5 advantage. However, the Phillies scored 2 runs in the bottom of the 9th, sealing the game with a walk-off win. They will meet the Nationals again today at 6:45 PM. With the draft now behind us, what are the sentiments regarding this Eagles team? Are we looking forward to the upcoming season? Do we believe the Eagles have accomplished enough, or is there more to be done before the new year begins?
Tomorrow signals the start of the 2025 NFL Draft. All attention will focus on the Eagles as we eagerly anticipate their strategy for this draft. Some speculate that the Eagles may try to trade up, using their picks and possibly Dallas Goedert, while others believe they will stay at the 32nd pick or even trade down. In other news, the Phillies were defeated by the Mets last night, with a final score of 5-1. Sanchez exited the game after throwing 58 pitches over 2 innings. The Phillies' offense requires major improvements.
Only two days remain until the NFL Draft! There's uncertainty about the Eagles' strategy at the 32nd pick. Will they trade their picks for a player, or consider moving up in the draft? Alternatively, could they choose to move back and gain additional picks from a team eager to draft in the first round? In baseball, the Phillies fell to the Mets last night, finishing 4-5. Aaron Nola remains without a victory at the start of the season.
Today marks the official beginning of DRAFT WEEK! The NFL Draft is just a few days away, and there's much to cover. What strategy do the Eagles have for the first round, particularly regarding tight end concerns? Are there plans for a trade involving Dallas Goedert? Will the Eagles decide to move up or back in the draft? Meanwhile, the Phillies lost a lead to the Marlins yesterday on Easter, ending the game 7-5. Could Jordan Romano be an issue?

Phil Simms joins us and Gio said Phil is very muscular. He's all jacked up. Phil was at the game along with the other Giants legends and said the Vikings looked better, faster and very well coached. Phil said Daniel Jones was making decisions way too fast. Phil also gave his impressions on Aaron Rodgers' first full game as the Jets QB. He was disappointed in the offense that they didn't throw the ball down the field enough. Phil thought Tom Brady did well for his first time doing a game on TV. Jerry returns with an update and starts with Aaron Rodgers on with Pat McAfee talking about the Jets not having the ball for enough time in week 1. The Yankees were shut out by the Royals. The Mets lost to the Blue Jays and are now tied with Atlanta for the final Wild Card spot. Patrick Beverley talked about playing in Israel and he said it's paradise everyday and people worry about him but he said it's great. In the final segment of the hour, somebody hung up sports leagues magnetic standings on the wall and it looked odd. Boomer thinks it looks ‘cheap and dopey'. Gio said there are a lot of guys in sports talk that don't want to grow up. Gio said Evan and Sal are still holding tight to their childhood.
Hour 1 Today is the 23rd anniversary of 9/11 and we opened with our thoughts on the topic. We also talked about the importance of sports right after that and how it brought people together including the Mike Piazza HR. Gio couldn't believe how some of the Jets fans on air here were so negative, considering how positive they were last season as soon as Rodgers went down. This week they play the Titans and Boomer said they are a better team than people think they are. The Jets are a favorite on the road and that's because of the QB in Tennessee. They can't start 0-2. They now play a string of quarterbacks that aren't great. Jerry is here for his first update and starts with the Mets losing to the Blue Jays as David Peterson had a tough night on the mound. The Yankees also lost as they were shut out by Seth Lugo and the Royals. Benches cleared last night in Philadelphia between the Phillies and Rays. Aaron Rodgers was on with Pat McAfee and said to come along for the ride but if you jump off now, don't come back. Joe Benigno was not happy with the defense. Chris Russo said Saleh will be fired if the Jets are 1-4. Carl Banks said LT thought they could have grabbed 22 of the Giants' legends and played better Sunday. In the final segment of the hour, Jerry asked Eddie about smelly teenagers on the Warm Up Show. Hour 2 Boomer has a gift for Gio and it's some sort of Vikings hoodie. Boomer wonders if we should give Daniel Jones some slack for coming back from his injury earlier than we thought he would and he's playing with a bunch of new guys. Gio said he lost the benefit of the doubt because he has been bad for most of his career. Boomer thinks Rodgers and the Jets will bounce back this year and that Rodgers will have a good year. If he doesn't, Jets fans are not going to like his weekly appearances with McAfee. Gio thinks the Jets negativity is too high considering it's week 1 and they lost to the defending NFC champions. Jerry is here for an update and starts with the sounds of the Yankees getting shut out by Seth Lugo and the Royals. The Mets also lost to the Blue Jays, 6-2, as David Peterson had a rare bad start. Aaron Rodgers was on with Pat McAfee and Jerry has the clips. Carl Banks talked about the Giants performance. Jerry Jones talked about money curing any ill feelings during contract negotiations. In the final segment of the hour, there was an odd interaction between Barstool Eddie and Dan Bernstein at The Score in Chicago. Hour 3 Phil Simms joins us and Gio said Phil is very muscular. He's all jacked up. Phil was at the game along with the other Giants legends and said the Vikings looked better, faster and very well coached. Phil said Daniel Jones was making decisions way too fast. Phil also gave his impressions on Aaron Rodgers' first full game as the Jets QB. Hour 4 During the commercial break, Gio took down all of the magnetic standings that were put up on the walls at WFAN. Boomer thought they looked cheap and dopey so Gio tore them down. We also talked about Michael Kay and John Flaherty bickering in the booth and people thinking they had a problem. ...

NBA star Patrick Beverley didn't handle getting bounced from the playoffs very well. In the closing moments of Indiana's win over Milwaukee, the Bucks stars threw a basketball at a fan who he claims had been heckling him but hit a female fan instead. Postgame, he refused to answer questions from an ESPN reporter because she didn't subscribe to his podcast. This is just the latest incident of athletes behaving badly. Patrick Beverley and the Bucks should've known better than to upset... Payton Pritchard. Also... do you hear that? Sounds like a MVP conversation is happening and Kings coach Mike Brown isn't happy that Domantas Sabonis and his NBA-leading 24 triple-doubles and 51 consecutive double-doubles hasn't been talked about enough. The Timberwolves may have as much drama as Minnesota has lakes after a Timberwolves employee was fired, arrested and charged with felony third-degree burglary for allegedly stealing thousands of internal files and Charlotte and Amin go over the latest updates just one day after Alex Rodriguez and Marc Lore's bid to acquire majority control looked to be in shambles. It's rare that we see somebody who discredits the draft pick order as such as Tyrese Maxey, the point guard and shooting guard for the Philadelphia 76ers. From being the 21st draft pick of his year to being arguably top 5 players in the NBA, Maxey has made quite a name for himself on his journey from Dallas to Kentucky to Philly, where he has become one of the most exciting young players in the league. Tyrese opens up about his bond with Joel Embiid and his respect for Nick Nurse, both of which played a pivotal role in his rise, and shows love for our fellow Barstool Sports talent, Patrick Beverley, who he says is one of the best trash-talkers in the game. Don't miss this exclusive interview with the Franchise, Rese, Mad Maxey, Prince of the City... Tyrese Maxey. You can find every episode of this show on Apple Podcasts, Spotify or YouTube.
