Joe Dalton shares his amazing testimony and his ministry with Dr. Chaps. Jane and Joe Dalton helped establish the PRC of Rolla shortly after moving to the town in 2006. The Daltons were leading a national pro-life organization and raising eight children when they decided it would be better to do so in a rural setting. Within a day of their arrival, two people called to say they had been begging God to send a pro-life anchor to that community. The nonprofit center offers a wide range of services to women who are pregnant and in crisis or need, including consultations with certified, professional life coaches who help clients make decisions based on their own needs. Expectant mothers who want long-term help, structure, and life coaching can choose, like Faith, to live in PRC's maternity residence. In this week’s episode I interview Bridget from @midnightmums about her third pregnancy and postpartum experience. Bridget had been so excited about having another baby and yet for the first half of her pregnancy she was absolutely floored by nausea, exhaustion and breathlessness. She came up with a myriad of excuses for herself and simply put it down to tiredness and the reality of growing a baby and looking after two busy boys. However, when she mentioned her breathing troubles to her OB, alarms bells rang and he sent her for a myriad of tests. She was diagnosed with blood clots on the lungs and had to endure twice-daily injections of blood thinning medication for the rest of her pregnancy and till three-months postpartum.

Today I’m calling up one of my best friends, Amelia Lester who some of you may know if you listened to the podcast we used to host together about Trump’s America called Tell Me It’s Going To Be Ok. Amelia and I met when she was the editor of the Good Weekend magazine and living in Sydney - it’s her hometown but she’s lived most of her adult life in America ever since she moved there to go to Harvard on a scholarship in 2001. She came home to Australia a few years ago for that big job but left again soon after to marry her partner who is a military doctor based in the US which is where she lives now. So what's it like living in the country that is now the #1 Corona country in the world? And what's it like being married to a doctor who is treating covid patients? We had a lot of laughs in this conversation. Enjoy.
