Stock Market speculation is at an all time high. But when you combine this with the long-term buy-and-hold strategy, you can really see the long-term effects of continued economic crashes. So what's the solution?
One of the most commonly prescribed remedies to financial stress is the concept of being debt free. But should we also ask the question: is it more important to be debt free or have more money?
As civil unrest continues to sweep the nation, the recent stimulus actions by the Fed have gone relatively unnoticed. However, I believe that they will have the most lasting impact on our finances. Not only do we ask how to combat inflation, but we also ask if we can turn back the clock on our monetary system. Don't miss this exciting and informative short!
On today's show, we'll look at the unfortunate murder of George Floyd and how we can move and learn from it. Trump's continued offensive against the Communist Chinese and the Monte Carlo Theory withdrawal rate just got slashed.

I love Nashville. From the wide open sidewalks with plenty of walking room to the local restaurants and parks, it truly is one of my favorite cities. But any place is only as good as the people. I was not here for the storms in 2010, but I suppose certainly here for the surprise tornado in 2020. And you know what I saw? I saw the greatest outpouring of passion care and support for one another that I've ever seen. Putnam County, which was hit the hardest by the storm actually started to run out of room for all of the supplies that were being donated. There were lines of people waiting to donate blood and all over social media people were offering things to help rebuild. Local companies donated supplies and the general atmosphere was one of compassion.
Today Kevin interviews Don Merlo. Don has been a Mortgage Lender for 39 years and has overseen closed loan production in excess of 1 Billion Dollars. He is a nationally known speaker and Mortgage Consultant. But, what he is most thankful for is being the Grand Father of 3 year old Duke and 1 year old Max Wilson, Husband of Marlene and Father of Heather.
Everything markets today. From Bob Igar to the history of the Fed and the market downturn, we cover how the market could come back; and how it could tank even further. With a focus on the United Kingdom's FTSE 100, we also look at the global markets.
In researching articles for yesterday's Kevin prendiville show, going through something like I came across one of the best articles that I've read in Forbes and a very long time. Penned by Michael Lewitt, a piece titled “The Harsh Realities Of Corporate America's Decade-Long Leveraged Buyout” outlines the over leverage of American corporations and what Michael calls the cannibalization of the commercial sector.
Today's show is a huge financial episode, combining politics, money and global markets. With a heavy focus on a great succession of articles from Forbes, Kevin looks at:The Moves of Berkshire HathawayOpportunity Cost and Compound interestLeveraging The social impact of a dysfunctional economy
Stocks are through the floor today, and no one could have predicted it. It's the nature of the market of course, but try telling that to those who have invested their retirement into the market. There are many angles with which we could approach this, both socially, emotionally, and logically. But for now, we'll stick with the logic. 1000 points or more snot only a huge loss for the day, but in the future it will truly cost the average American much more than they expect. This is because of a principle known as opportunity cost.
With uncertainty in China, Joe Biden bombing at the primaries and Banks changing to the SOFR system, what does this mean for personal finances? And don't forget about Nashville soccer and the MLS
Just how likely is a high taxation environment? With the Trump economy, it seems unlikely, but are there other factors that cold affect the future?
We don't typically cover HR trends on this site, but I thought this one was important to bring to your attention, because there's a small point I want to make about it. According to a Harris Poll survey, Millennials and gen Z workers actually care about their work and its meaning. “Roughly three-quarters of Millennial (ages 24-39) employees (76 percent) and almost two-thirds of Gen Z (ages 18-23) employees (64 percent) work in knowledge-based jobs — including professional, managerial, or administrative work.”
Hail to the Chiefs! A great win for the state of Missouri, does Kansas get to claim this one too? On a heavier note, we'll also discuss the current state of the fed and personal finance. This is the Kevin Prendiville show. Sometimes political. Always correct.
Seems like we all forgot about this one. With the media distracted with Iran and impeachment, here's what I believe are missing about phase 1Sources: https://kevinprendiville.com/original-content/brave-new-negotiation/https://www.sovereignman.com/trends/uncle-sam-just-used-its-financial-nuclear-weapon-again-27056/

In 1793 the French Republic turned into a Dictatorship. The question is why? The answer can get us to a better understanding of the modern American right and left. Bu connecting the dots to our history, we can better understand how the United States became what it is today.
The 2020 election will be dominated by finance and social issues. But what is the Governments true role in all of this? Who and what are the major purveyors of "free" healthcare, is it even feasible? All this and more on today's Civil Discourse
What relates the Boston Tea Party to today? The answer may seem simple on paper, but if we connect the dots, the answer gets more and more complex.
The revived series from Kevin Prendiville takes a look at the modern issues of the day. Civil Discourse is meant to spark a discussion around reasonable facts and opinions on some of the biggest issues facing the United States and her allies. Topics may range from finance to the culture war and everything in between.
The war that shaped the world is hardly taught today but it is so important to understanding the nature of being an American. The US is a nation of many people, but one ethos. If we are to preserve what is right, we must understand our own beginnings, which started well before 1776.
America was founded by the Manga Carta in 1215, and cultivated in the English dynasty known as the Tudor Dynasty. From King Henry 8th to Queen Elizabeth I, they all contributed to making the greatest county in the history of the World.
In the First Series of Connecting the Dots, we discuss English History and its connection to America. The indisputable evidence that the US is closer to the UK than we've ever realized starts in 1215. Before the Black Death, before the Reformation, there was Americana. Freedom starts on the shores of Dover.
Religion and spirituality in general is ingrained in our minds from the start. As far back as the Neanderthals, who had their own graves sites, humanity has always been marked by spirituality. In history, governments who attempted to diminish God always try to take his place. Perhaps the Bible ain't such a bad thing, and maybe ideology is.
Now, I want a subject that took me twenty years to realize. It's the simple fact that rights come from God... not the Government and not man. The ONLY reason I figured this out was though my own study of our founding fathers, something that has been taken away in our public schools, and in most of our collages… Above all else, what we are going to discuss today, IS why this is not only the great crime of our century, but in fact a shift in thought that my never be corrected
I believe that because of what we're being taught, we're losing an entire generation...Wow! 20 episodes, can you believe we're here already? 20 different ways of elaborating on just the title "crime of the century". 20 times we've lifted the lid on modern education, exposing it as the scam that it is. In the face of political correctness, we've begun to understand the problems we face. Today I think we should look back at all that we've gone over so far to give you an idea of why this is the crime of the century.
The death of America starts in the academic systems...Today we're talking history again. I know, everybody slept through their history courses, but listen up! History has no mercy on sleepwalkers, and today we're going to go from 1750 up to 1990, to exactly how we got into this situation even it when it seems that we have conquered all of our enemies. Our academic problems run deep in this country, the divide us, and if we're not careful, they'll conquer us. This is the Crime of the Century.
Famous YouTube star speaks out against video games and we question the future of the US. Then the question of the new democrats and socialism's rise is something that needs addressing. Lastly the looming crisis in the middle east looms large.
I believe their are a number of factors that impact our start in life...A while back I explained the concept of debt and why most people feel broke. And it isn't helped by the government monopoly on student loans. Today we will explore why this is part of the Crime of the Century.
A feeling of listlessness has swept across the United States. From Massachusetts to California, Adults and young people are are unsure footing. Could this be related to the rise of promiscuity and immorality?
