Chris and Ashley play a classic found in pretty much every 90s arcade this week with Puzzle Bobble, or Bust-A-Move, depending where you're playing it. The game see you firing coloured bubbles at other bubbles to make them pop. It sounds simple - and it is - but it entranced children and adults alike when it came out. Come and find out if it can do the same now!
Damon Champ takes on one of the hardest GamesMaster challenges to date - playing three games of Puzzle Bobble on the NeoGeo CD at the same time - while the annual football tournament continues as Chelsea's Graeme Le Saux faces Liverpool's Phil Babb on Goal Storm.Victory Boxing and World Series Baseball on the Saturn get reviewed alongside Hexen on PC, there's news on the UK launch of the SciFi Channel, Virtua Cop 2 and a patch for Battle Arena Toshinden on PlayStation, and Dom travels to California to see Universal Studio's latest extravaganza: Waterworld.Get next week's episode early on Patreon!Join the GamesMaster conversation on Discord!Theme song by Other ChrisFollow Luke on TwitterFollow Ash on TwitterFollow Under Consoletation on TwitterFollow Under Consoletation on InstagramSend your thoughts to feedback@underconsoletation.comSupport this show http://supporter.acast.com/underconsolepod. Bryan and AJ review Puzzle Bobble and more!
AJ and Bryan talk about Saints & Sinners Aftershocks DLC
Yuki, Arashi, Puzzle Bobble, Winds & Leaves, After the Fall, Wanderer, Fracked et enfin Sniper Elite VR.

Bustin' makes us feel good as we explore the origins of Taito's Puzzle Bobble (or Bust a Move). We try to make sense of the Bubble Bobble family tree which includes a long, lost ancestor. Why was this MVS cart one of the most bootlegged Neo Geo games? What about Bub and Bob made them so attractive to the fairer sex? What reasons are given for popping all these bubbles? Where do Bub and Bob fall on the Kingdom Animalia spectrum? Also included for your pleasure: stuttering, Young MC, attract modes played at the Gates of Hell, Snood, and forbidden initials.

Folge direkt herunterladen

Welcome to I'll Show You Mine! This week, James shows Elyse the strange arcade classic Bubble Bobble (not to be confused with Puzzle Bobble, aka Bust-A-Move) as we wrap up another season. In this episode we're discussing how procrastinating for an audio design class led James to discover this game, reveling in how old arcade style dungeon grinding can be satisfying and hilarious as hell, and exorcising some old demons about our respective college experiences.Join us, and stay tuned for when we come back from our in-between seasons break in October!Follow @isympodcast on Twitter for show updates and more info about what's coming next in Season 3, and don't forget to check out twitch.tv/sparkmandesigns in the meantime for games and art!Our theme song is:Dreams by Joakim Karud @joakimkarudCreative Commons — Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported— CC BY-SA 3.0 creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/

In this episode Greg and George look at the first game of the popular action puzzle series Bust a Move from Taito! Known as Puzzle Bobble outside of North America, this cute and challenging puzzle game features characters and graphics from the well known Bubble Bobble series, and has 100 levels promised to make you insane toward the end! Listen to us discuss this game and how it holds up today. Any feedback, questions, suggestions, etc. can be left for us on our FB page or e-mailed to the snespodcast@yahoo.com and as always thanks for your support!
AFPH and Quan discuss one of our personal favorite puzzle games and all time classic, the Puzzle Bobble Series!
Having survived the Bubble Bobble episode, Jeremy mops up the franchise with a look at its most popular (or at least most imitated) branch: The iconic color-match puzzler Bust-A-Move... more sensibly known as "Puzzle Bobble."
