News and analysis covers what walking away from JVR, Talbot, and Perron means, plus Raymond & Brandsegg-Nygard lighting up the Worlds and a shocking Western Conference Final sweep. (00:00) - Intro & Fun Fact (05:10) - Red Wings UFA Report Reports say Kane is the only UFA the Wings want back. (20:15) - Patrick Kane's Future Why the Patrick Kane conversation may be the only easy one. Measuring production vs. Compher, Rasmussen, and Appleton combined. The top six gap, the DeBrincat chemistry, and what still needs to be addressed. If you have back pain, you are not alone. According to Georgetown University's Health Policy Institute, nearly 65 million Americans report a recent episode of back pain, and 16 million adults — 8 percent of all adults — experience persistent or chronic back pain and are limited in everyday activities. Dr. Marcus Mazur at Pacific Neuroscience Institute sees people living with back pain and works to find a solution, whether that's through surgery or through some of the many other available options, including medication, physical therapy, chiropractors and, interestingly, exercises in a swimming pool. In today's episode, Dr. Mazur discusses all the options, when surgery can help, and things you can do to prevent back pain from affecting you in the first place.

A condiment that's hard to categorize is usually the one worth chasing, and the Sizzle Sauce fits that bill. We talk with creator and owner Zack Mazur about a Pittsburgh-made sauce that starts with sweet barbecue vibes, shifts into a savory comfort-food depth, and then tags you with heat at the very end. Zack walks us through the real behind-the-scenes journey of building a small food business: the first batch made at home for his daughter's chicken nuggets and fries, the rounds of tinkering, to the encouraging push of family and friends to do more. We round things out with two food wins: Sarah of Sarah Loves Yinz recommends Kitchen on Main in Ligonier for a treat-yourself brunch, and Sarah Kaminski of Best Ever Granola drops a weeknight “empty the fridge” taco hack that feeds a family without a strict recipe. If you like discovering local Pittsburgh food brands, small business stories, and practical meal ideas, hit subscribe, share this with a sauce-loving friend, and leave a quick review so more people can find the show.Support the showLiked the episode?
As part of the Future of Texas series in partnership with Texas 2036, this episode explores one of the most critical challenges facing the state's future: building an electric grid that can keep up with rapid growth while remaining reliable and affordable. Through the Future of Texas podcast series, Texas 2036 brings together diverse perspectives as we explore the opportunities and challenges facing our state over the next ten years. The views expressed in this program are those of the individual speakers and do not necessarily reflect the views of Texas 2036, its staff or its Board of Directors. Host Brad Swail is joined by Pablo Vegas, President and CEO of ERCOT, and Jeremy Mazur, Director of Infrastructure and Natural Resources Policy at Texas 2036, for a deep dive into how Texas is preparing its power grid for the next decade. The conversation examines how Texas operates one of the most unique deregulated electricity markets in the country — and why that system is being tested by population growth, extreme weather, and rising demand from data centers and new industries. Vegas explains how ERCOT manages supply and demand in real time while forecasting long-term growth, while Mazur breaks down the policy shifts that followed Winter Storm Uri and how lawmakers are approaching reliability and infrastructure. The discussion covers: • How Texas' deregulated electricity market works • Generation, transmission, and retail explained • Post-Uri reforms and reliability focus • Supply chain and permitting challenges • Growth of solar, wind, and battery storage • The need for a more balanced energy mix • Water's role in energy reliability • Data center-driven demand growth • Who pays for new infrastructure • What drives electricity prices • Limits of current market incentives • Distributed energy and future grid innovation The episode also highlights a key policy shift: large energy users like data centers may be required to reduce demand first during grid emergencies — protecting residential consumers and critical services. Looking ahead, the conversation underscores a central challenge: Texas must not only build more power, but build the right mix of power to ensure long-term reliability and affordability. 00:00 — Intro + Future of Texas series overview 00:21 — Meet Pablo Vegas (ERCOT) & Jeremy Mazur (Texas 2036) 01:21 — Why Texas' electric grid matters more than ever 02:02 — Winter Storm Uri: what changed since 2021 03:09 — How Texas' electricity market works (3-part system) 05:03 — Policy changes and focus on grid reliability 06:20 — Texas growth and rising electricity demand 07:22 — ERCOT's role: balancing supply and demand 08:09 — Forecasting future demand and infrastructure needs 08:56 — Why power plants take years to build 10:22 — Supply chain issues and energy development delays 11:18 — How incentives shaped solar, wind, and battery growth 13:10 — Water's critical role in energy reliability 14:10 — Drought risks and power generation challenges 15:31 — Are we building enough power for the future? 16:55 — The imbalance in today's energy mix 18:48 — Why Texas needs a balanced portfolio of energy sources 19:08 — Legislative efforts to expand nuclear & geothermal 20:14 — Why renewables helped during extreme heat events 21:00 — The future of nuclear, geothermal, and new tech 22:05 — Market design flaws: not all electricity is valued equally 24:02 — Why reliability isn't priced into the system 25:26 — Data centers: massive demand growth explained 29:18 — Will all proposed data centers actually get built? 31:09 — Who pays for grid expansion? 33:00 — Transmission costs and rate impacts 34:43 — Ensuring fair cost allocation for consumers 35:28 — Can Texas handle future demand growth? 36:13 — Data centers as part of the energy solution 38:23 — New rules: data centers shut off first in emergencies 40:19 — Behind-the-meter energy (self-powered facilities) 41:23 — What will happen to electricity prices? 43:50 — Why Texas still has relatively low power costs 46:05 — Post-Uri reforms and grid resilience improvements 48:20 — Preparing for extreme weather in the future 49:54 — The future: distributed energy and grid innovation 51:30 — Final thoughts + Texas 2036 outlook Watch Full-Length Interviews: https://www.youtube.com/@TexasTalks

Szóval akkor már jöjjenek inkább a Last of Us díszletei vagy Mazur paladinja a Diablo IV-ből.

Spinal deformity refers to abnormal curvatures of the spine, such as scoliosis, lordosis, and kyphosis. These conditions can arise from genetic defects, injuries, diseases like osteoporosis or arthritis, neuromuscular disorders, or poor posture. Symptoms range from visible misalignment to pain, weakness, loss of sensation, and in severe cases, paralysis or organ compression. Treatment options vary from observation, bracing, medications, and physical therapy to complex surgeries, with early diagnosis offering the best outcomes. Marcus D. Hogyan jön össze egyetlen adásban a hamis ektoplazma, a szellemek, a farkatlan macskák, egy (talán) hasbeszélő lány, két szellemvadász, akiket Simon Pegg és Christopher Lloyd játszik, valamint egy ragadozó emlős, aki atomot tud hasítani? Hát most ez is kiderül.

Ő egyébként a katasztrófát hozta most az új KK Nanóba.

Szerencsére a 18-as karikát most megúsztuk, mert amikor többször is megduzzadt bőrtömlők kerültek szóba, Mazur és Stöki példás önuralmat tanúsított.

He is proud to serve on the board for Running in Silence, Michigan Eating Disorder Alliance, and SoulPaws Recovery Project. Jason is also the Director of Community Engagement at ANAD and facilitates the organization's new men's peer support group. Through speaking engagements, his writing, and his work, Jason strives to start an important conversation that encourages everyone--especially men--to speak up, share their stories, and get the help they deserve. Our Hosts, Linda and John Mazur, and Ellen Bennett, discuss various mental health issues—eating disorders, anxiety, depression, suicide, substance and alcohol use disorders. This team has a combined experience of over thirty-five years in dealing with eating disorders and their co-morbidities. They share their insights on anorexia, grief, advocacy, and the significance of finding support networks. The podcasts feature interviews with mental health experts, authors, and individuals with lived experiences. Linda, John, and Ellen emphasize the need for improved community awareness and the benefits of strong interpersonal connections. Join us as we start the conversations to end the pervasive shame and stigma associated with mental health issues as we strive to improve mental health care and learn to embrace, better understand, and support those who struggle, and those who love them. Miszónak is száz a vége, hallgassátok!

In this Summer Coolers edition of NHL Wraparound, hosts Neil Smith and Vic Morren examine the Detroit Red Wings—a franchise inching toward contention but still battling to break through. It's been nine consecutive seasons without a playoff berth in Hockeytown. The last time the Red Wings won a playoff series? Back in 2013.Now, under Steve Yzerman's front office leadership, Detroit hopes that one major offseason swing—a trade for John Gibson—can stabilize their goaltending and finally push them over the edge. Will it be enough?IN THIS EPISODE:[00:00] Red Wings: A decade of frustration[00:36] Power play high, penalty kill worst in the league[01:00] John Gibson acquisition: a franchise-altering gamble?[02:00] Goaltending swap: Gibson for Mrazek[02:45] Other offseason additions: JVR, Appleton, Hamonic[03:50] Prospect pool preview: Danielson, Mazur, Cossa[04:30] Offensive core: DeBrincat, Larkin, Raymond, Kane[05:15] Is there enough depth if someone goes down?[06:00] Playoff competition: Too many contenders, too few spotsKEY TAKEAWAYS:John Gibson is the swing piece. If he returns to form, Detroit may finally have the goaltending they've lacked for years. If not, the playoff drought could hit a full decade.Power play success masked penalty kill disaster. Detroit ranked 4th in PP% last year—but dead last (32nd) in PK%, and had just 2 shorthanded goals.Yzerman's offseason was conservative. Outside of the Gibson trade, additions like James van Riemsdyk, Mason Appleton, and Travis Hamonic won't move the needle significantly.Detroit's window is tightening. With the East getting deeper (Montreal, Ottawa, Columbus, Buffalo all fighting), the margin for error is razor thin.Offensive leaders like Dylan Larkin, DeBrincat, Lucas Raymond, and Patrick Kane must stay healthy—this team can't afford to lose top-end scoring.FINAL VERDICT:Detroit made one major move this offseason—and if John Gibson plays like the All-Star he once was, it could be a franchise-defining deal. But with penalty-kill woes, aging secondary scoring, and intense wild card competition, the Red Wings remain a bubble team in a crowded East.Is year 10 of the rebuild the one that finally breaks the curse—or does the streak stretch into double digits?RESOURCE LINKS:YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCgBj1LV0-DMfBhcRPSJZLjAX (Twitter): https://twitter.com/NHLWraparoundNeil Smith: https://twitter.com/NYCNeilVic Morren: https://www.linkedin.com/in/vic-morren-7038737/Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/nhlwraparound/TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@nhlwraparoundFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61555451139787HASHTAGS:#DetroitRedWings #NHLWraparound #SummerCoolers #JohnGibson #PetrMrazek #JamesvanRiemsdyk #MasonAppleton #WilliamLagesson #AlbertJohansson #JonatanBerggren #ElmerSoderblom #SteveYzerman #VladimirTarasenko #AlexLyon #PatVerbeek #LucasRaymond #AlexDebrincat #DylanLarkin

Tony Mazur and Chad Zumock used to do a weekly podcast called Mondays with Mazur, but as is the case in life, schedules change and the weekly hit couldn't be met. However, they are resurrecting the show with a monthly themed episode, and this week featured terrible old TV promos and crossovers from the 1980s. Halfway through, comedian Dave Landau calls in for a quick chat. Be sure to subscribe to Tony's Patreon. $3 gets you just audio, $5 gets video AND audio, and $10 has all of the above, as well as bonus podcasts per week. Visit Patreon.com/TonyMazur. With the Detroit Red Wings season post-mortem well-documented, we take a look at what Steve Yzerman's top priority should be for Hockeytown this offseason: getting scoring help for Dylan Larkin, Lucas Raymond, Alex DeBrincat, Patrick Kane, and Marco Kasper in the form of Marner, Ehlers, Bennett, or Marchand? Defensive support for Mortiz Seider, Simon Edvinsson, and Albert Johansson by way of Gavrikov? Goaltending solution other than Talbot or Mrazek? (4:30) We also take a look at Isaac Howard of the Tampa Bay Lightning and whether he would be worth trading for, or if Danielson, Brandsegg-Nygard, Mazur or others are the solution for the Detroit Red Wings (16:15). Next, a Stanley Cup Playoffs update, including Mikko Rantanen's incredible Game 7 revenge performance, Hellebuyck and the Jets' unexpected goalie issue, Marner and the Leafs beating Tkachuk and the Senators, McDavid, Draisaitl and the Oilers beating the Kings again, the Capitals dispatching Lane Hutson's Canadiens, and Tkachuk and the Panthers making easy work of Vasilevskiy and the Lightning (29:45). After that, a U18 IIFH tournament recap and preview of the NHL Draft Lottery (46:55) before our 2025 NHL Draft Prospect Profile on Brady Martin: is he a Marco Kasper clone and "Yzerman's type"?
