Edward Gero joins the CONVERSATION during a break in rehearsals for The Lehman Trilogy at the Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Gero's performance is another highlight in a distinguished, award-winning career spanning forty-seven years with upwards to one hundred fifty roles and counting including The Originalist at Court Theatre in Chicago, Angels in America at Arena Stage and earlier this year, in the critically-acclaimed production of The Lehman Trilogy at the Shakespeare Theatre Company that has now transferred to the Guthrie and opens September 19, 2024. Stefano Massini's epic multi-generational story, adapted by Ben Power and directed by Arin Arbus, chronicles the true-to-life rise of three Jewish immigrant brothers who built their own version of the American Dream from a small fabric business in 1844 to the international financial firm whose spectacular collapse in 2008 sent global markets spiraling out of control. The Guthrie Theater production includes Gero, Mark Nelson and William Sturdivant in the cast of three who play the Lehman brothers and recreate all of the over fifty other roles. 7 Episode 3 Originally posted September 4, 2024

Hello, Eavesdroppers! This episode we delve into the otherworldly realm of psychic encounters, with true crime tales of psychic detectives, psychics that communicate with the dead, Hollywood psychics and more… But first up, Geordie talks to new Eavesdroppin' researcher Ren, who shares a personal story about a deceased loved one who visited her in the shape of a bird… Plus she shares a tale with us about another feathered friend who visited actress, director and producer Nicole Ansari-Cox to give her a sign from her recently passed father... Then Michelle delves into another true crime case with a twist… Do you believe that psychics can help police solve cases? This week on Eavesdroppin' we look at the case of Amie Hoffman, where psychic Nancy Weber tried to use her powers to help authorities catch a killer… In 1982, student Amie Hoffman left work and was never seen alive again. How did psychic detective Nancy Weber know details of the case that hadn't been reported? Did she really crack the case before the authorities did? Is there a supernatural twist to this story? Listen to find out! Geordie then discusses psychic Tyler Henry's encounter with Latoyah Jackson and the time he channelled Michael Jackson… Did the story surrounding Michael's death get changed? Was Michael abandoned in his moment of need? Did Latoyah get any closure from the encounter? Is Tyler Henry just really good at cold reading? You decide! Geordie then wraps up with some great stories from LA psychic medium to the stars, Fleur Leussink, who was told to use her psychic gifts or die… It's all here on Eavesdroppin'! Saatekülalised Alar Tamming ja Hendrik Toompere. Saatejuht Hardo Pajula. Möödunud aastal esietendus Draamateatris Itaalia kirjaniku Stefano Massini näidend "Lehman Brothers". Ma nägin seda tänu Alarile paar nädalat tagasi. Hendrik Toompere lavastus jättis mulle sügava mulje. Suurepärane lugu suurepärased näitlejad suurepärased muusikud – neli ja pool tundi läksid märkamatult. Mul oli tõesti hea meel võõrustada täna Tähenduse teejuhtide stuudios Alarit ja Hendrikut tänu kellele see meeldejääv teatriõhtu minu jaoks teoks sai. Vestlus liikus nagu ikka siia-sinna-tänna. Jutuks tulid [Kondratjevi tsüklid](https://et.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kondratjevi_lained), hüperinflatsioon konflikt tempoga mängimine improvisatsioon [James Hillman](https://edasi.org/99454/hardo-pajula-hinge-eestkostja/), George Friedmani väga oluline raamat ["Maru enne rahu"](https://www.amazon.com/Storm-Before-Calm-Americas-Discord-ebook/dp/B01N4VZB3T/ref=sr_1_1?crid=PPG99PORUQML&keywords=george+friedman+the+storm+before+the+calm&qid=1636576014&sprefix=George+Friedman%2Caps%2C273&sr=8-1), igavene noorus ja mitmed muud päevakajalised teemad. See oli huvitav vestlus. H.
