It's 2019 and plant-based meats are on fire. But they're also under fire. Supporters of the beef industry start a food fight with the plant-based meat industry. It kicks off on Super Bowl Sunday, with an aggressive TV ad. But Pat Brown's Impossible Foods fights back with an ad of its own. Meanwhile, Ethan Brown pushes Beyond Meat to grow at all costs. As debts mount, Ethan tries to get the king of burgers, McDonald's, to bite on a new plant-based patty. And, as the heat turns up at both companies due to pandemic-induced demand for their products, some employees get queasy about their company's founders.Be the first to know about Wondery's newest podcasts, curated recommendations, and more! The numbers are staggering. John Harbaugh has won at least one playoff game in nine different seasons with the Baltimore Ravens, while the New York Giants have managed playoff wins in just ten seasons across the entire Super Bowl era. The guys dig into what that gap really means, how often Harbaugh has hosted playoff games, and why Giants fans are still dreaming of a January home playoff tailgate. The conversation then shifts to why Ravens fans turned on Harbaugh, breaking down the biggest criticisms from playoff failures and late game decision making to staff loyalty and late season collapses. Are those flaws deal breakers, or just the normal baggage that comes with any long tenured successful coach? Plus, a candid debate on whether Harbaugh is truly the best possible answer for the Giants right now, and why even elite resumes always come with real concerns.

In this episode of The FasterFreedom Show, Lucas is back solo pod style (while Sam is still out sick) to break down the 4 biggest challenges newer real estate investors are facing right now—the real issues he sees come up again and again with people trying to get traction in today's market. He starts with the foundational problem most investors never slow down to solve: not being clear on what they actually want or why they're investing in the first place. From there, he digs into cash flow realities, cash management mistakes, and the growing feeling that many newer investors carry—that they're somehow already behind before they've even really started. He then explains how these challenges compound, and more importantly, how experienced investors think and operate differently to push through them. Then the conversation shifts gears into a full NFL Playoffs preview. Lucas breaks down the matchups, storylines, and momentum heading into the postseason before locking in his Super Bowl picks and sharing which teams he trusts when it matters most. From investor mindset and money management to playoff football, this episode blends practical real estate insight with the fun, conversational sports talk that's become a staple of the show.FasterFreedom Capital Connection: https://fasterfreedomcapital.comFree Rental Investment Training: https://freerentalwebinar.com

On the latest NFL Players: Second Acts podcast, Super Bowl champion Kayvon Webster joins Peanut Tillman and Roman Harper to share his journey from chasing an NFL dream to building a life of purpose beyond football. Kayvon reflects on growing up with a clear goal of playing in the NFL, his path to South Florida, and his “welcome to the league” moments — including getting drafted by his childhood favorite team, the Denver Broncos, and meeting his idol Champ Bailey. He discusses earning his place in Denver’s legendary No Fly Zone defense, which he says thrived on veteran leadership. The conversation turns to winning a Super Bowl, the celebration that followed, and the reality of life after football. Kayvon opens up about not giving himself time to dwell on leaving the game, instead pouring his energy into entrepreneurship — launching a food truck while still trying out for teams. His business quickly outgrew expectations, including serving frontline workers during the pandemic. Kayvon also shares how a torn Achilles sparked a new creative chapter, leading to a children’s book inspired by Black inventors and motivational videos created for his kids. Through business, storytelling, and service, Webster explains how he’s living his purpose by helping others believe in their dreams — the ultimate second act. (00:00-25:16) – Query & Company opens on a Hump Day Wednesday with Jake Query and producer Eddie Garrison discussing the decision last night by the Baltimore Ravens to part ways with John Harbaugh. Did the Colts commit to Shane Steichen too early? Could they have been a team that contacted Harbaugh’s representatives? Plus, they start setting the table for IU vs Oregon! (25:16-38:56) – With Riley Leonard performing well in his first career NFL start, Jake and Eddie take a look back at his college success at Notre Dame and compare it to Fernando Mendoza. They highlight some things that Mendoza does well that will translate to the NFL and identify a couple of question marks they have about IU’s quarterback going to the next level. (38:56-47:28) – The first hour of the show concludes with Jake and Eddie previewing the NFL Playoffs. They each identify a team that is entering the playoffs hot but could have a very underperforming effort, a team that could catch fire in the playoffs and make a Super Bowl run, and then who could be the sleeper winner of the big game. (47:28-1:15:29) – The IndyStar’s Joel Erickson joins Query & Company to talk NFL & Indianapolis Colts with Jake Query. Jake and Joel have a discussion about Carlie Irsay-Gordon’s press conference from two days ago, if there are other things that she could be focusing on right now that led her to running it back, shares some thoughts on the NFL Playoffs, and evaluates if Kyler Murray or Tua Tagovailoa could be an option for the Colts if Daniel Jones is not brought back because he decides he wants to go elsewhere. (1:09:36-1:28:16) – Brian Neubert from GoldAndBlack.com makes an appearance on the show to preview tonight’s game for the Purdue Boilermakers against the Washington Huskies. Jake asks Brian if the Boilermakers have enough depth to win when the turnaround is so tight during the Big Ten Tournament and later into the NCAA Tournament and Brian states that Purdue’s defense has dramatically improves since the blowout loss to Iowa State. (1:28:16-1:34:47) – The second hour of the show concludes with Jake and Eddie discussing that first matchup between the Oregon Ducks and Indiana Hoosiers with Oregon missing one of the key offensive players on Friday night that had an impact in the first meeting. (1:34:47-2:00:13) – Mike Niziolek from the Bloomington Herald Times joins Jake from Atlanta to preview Friday’s game between Indiana and Oregon. Mike explains what is different between IU and Oregon since their first matchup, assesses if there is a danger of a letdown performance after their Rose Bowl performance, and believes Oregon is a better team than Ole Miss and Miami. (2:00:13-2:17:37) – Rhett Lewis from the Big Ten and NFL Network joins the show to give his perspective on the IU vs Oregon game on Friday night. He believes that there are going to be some challenges now for the Ducks offense being too one dimensional, highlights some things about Curt Cignetti that we haven’t seen in college football besides Nick Saban in the last 20 years, and believes that this team could be talked about as one of the best team mindset in college football history. (2:17:37-2:23:50) – Today’s show closes out with JMV joining Jake in studio to discuss the Montreal Expos with JMV supporting the former MLB franchise. Plus, they preview what JMV’s show will look like for the next three hours!Support the show: https://1075thefan.com/query-and-company/See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
