Naaman Healed of Leprosy 5Naaman, commander of the army of the king of Syria, was a great man with his master and in high favor, because by him theLordhad given victory to Syria. He was a mighty man of valor, but he was a leper.[a]2Now the Syrians on one of their raids had carried off a little girl from the land of Israel, and she worked in the service of Naaman's wife.3She said to her mistress, Would that my lord were with the prophet who is in Samaria! He would cure him of his leprosy.4So Naaman went in and told his lord, Thus and so spoke the girl from the land of Israel.5And the king of Syria said, Go now, and I will send a letter to the king of Israel. So he went, taking with him ten talents of silver, six thousand shekels[b]of gold, and ten changes of clothing.6And he brought the letter to the king of Israel, which read, When this letter reaches you, know that I have sent to you Naaman my servant, that you may cure him of his leprosy.7And when the king of Israel read the letter, he tore his clothes and said, Am I God, to kill and to make alive, that this man sends word to me to cure a man of his leprosy? Only consider, and see how he is seeking a quarrel with me. 8But when Elisha the man of God heard that the king of Israel had torn his clothes, he sent to the king, saying, Why have you torn your clothes? Let him come now to me, that he may know that there is a prophet in Israel.9So Naaman came with his horses and chariots and stood at the door of Elisha's house.10And Elisha sent a messenger to him, saying, Go and wash in the Jordan seven times, and your flesh shall be restored, and you shall be clean.11But Naaman was angry and went away, saying, Behold, I thought that he would surely come out to me and stand and call upon the name of theLordhis God, and wave his hand over the place and cure the leper.12Are not Abana[c]and Pharpar, the rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel? Could I not wash in them and be clean? So he turned and went away in a rage.13But his servants came near and said to him, My father, it is a great word the prophet has spoken to you; will you not do it? Has he actually said to you, Wash, and be clean?14So he went down and dipped himself seven times in the Jordan, according to the word of the man of God, and his flesh was restored like the flesh of a little child, and he was clean. Gehazi's Greed and Punishment 15Then he returned to the man of God, he and all his company, and he came and stood before him. And he said, Behold, I know that there is no God in all the earth but in Israel; so accept now a present from your servant.16But he said, As theLordlives, before whom I stand, I will receive none. And he urged him to take it, but he refused.17Then Naaman said, If not, please let there be given to your servant two mule loads of earth, for from now on your servant will not offer burnt offering or sacrifice to any god but theLord.18In this matter may theLordpardon your servant: when my master goes into the house of Rimmon to worship there, leaning on my arm, and I bow myself in the house of Rimmon, when I bow myself in the house of Rimmon, theLordpardon your servant in this matter.19He said to him, Go in peace.

The book of the vision of Nahum of Elkosh. The Lord is a jealous and avenging God; the Lord is avenging and wrathful;the Lord takes vengeance on his adversaries and keeps wrath for his enemies. The Lord is slow to anger and great in power, and the Lord will by no means clear the guilty. His way is in whirlwind and storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.He rebukes the sea and makes it dry; he dries up all the rivers;Bashan and Carmel wither; the bloom of Lebanon withers. The mountains quake before him; the hills melt;the earth heaves before him, the world and all who dwell in it.Who can stand before his indignation? Who can endure the heat of his anger? His wrath is poured out like fire, and the rocks are broken into pieces by him.The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble;he knows those who take refuge in him. But with an overflowing floodhe will make a complete end of the adversaries, and will pursue his enemies into darkness. What do you plot against the Lord? He will make a complete end; trouble will not rise up a second time. For they are like entangled thorns, like drunkards as they drink; they are consumed like stubble fully dried. From you came one who plotted evil against the Lord, a worthless counselor. Thus says the Lord,“Though they are at full strength and many, they will be cut down and pass away.Though I have afflicted you, I will afflict you no more. And now I will break his yoke from off you and will burst your bonds apart.”1 Peter 1:13-25English Standard VersionTherefore, preparing your minds for action, and being sober-minded, set your hope fully on the grace that will be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ. As obedient children, do not be conformed to the passions of your former ignorance, but as he who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, since it is written, “You shall be holy, for I am holy.” And if you call on him as Father who judges impartially according to each one's deeds, conduct yourselves with fear throughout the time of your exile, knowing that you were ransomed from the futile ways inherited from your forefathers, not with perishable things such as silver or gold, but with the precious blood of Christ, like that of a lamb without blemish or spot. He was foreknown before the foundation of the world but was made manifest in the last times for the sake of you who through him are believers in God, who raised him from the dead and gave him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.Having purified your souls by your obedience to the truth for a sincere brotherly love, love one another earnestly from a pure heart, since you have been born again, not of perishable seed but of imperishable, through the living and abiding word of God; for“All flesh is like grass and all its glory like the flower of grass. The grass withers, and the flower falls, but the word of the Lord remains forever.”And this word is the good news that was preached to you. The Word of the Lord. Thanks Be To God. Benedictus (The Song of Zechariah)Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel; * he has come to his people and set them free.He has raised up for us a mighty savior, * born of the house of his servant David.Through his holy prophets he promised of old, that he would save us from our enemies, * from the hands of all who hate us. He promised to show mercy to our fathers * and to remember his holy covenant. This was the oath he swore to our father Abraham, * to set us free from the hands of our enemies, Free to worship him without fear, * holy and righteous in his sight all the days of our life. You, my child, shall be called the prophet of the Most High, * for you will go before the Lord to prepare his way, To give his people knowledge of salvation * by the forgiveness of their sins.In the tender compassion of our God * the dawn from on high shall break upon us, To shine on those who dwell in darkness and the shadow of death, * and to guide our feet into the way of peace.Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit:as it was in the beginning, is now, and will be for ever. 2 Samuel 9 (ESV) David's Kindness to Mephibosheth 9And David said, Is there still anyone left of the house of Saul, that I mayshow him kindness for Jonathan's sake?2Now there was a servant of the house of Saul whose name wasZiba, and they called him to David. And the king said to him, Are you Ziba? And he said, I am your servant.3And the king said, Is there not still someone of the house of Saul, that I may showthe kindness of God to him? Ziba said to the king, There is still a son ofJonathan; he is crippled in his feet.4The king said to him, Where is he? And Ziba said to the king, He is in the house ofMachir the son of Ammiel, at Lo-debar.5Then King David sent and brought him from the house of Machir the son of Ammiel, at Lo-debar.6AndMephibosheth the son of Jonathan, son of Saul, came to David and fell on his face and paid homage. And David said, Mephibosheth! And he answered, Behold, I am your servant.7And David said to him, Do not fear, for I will show you kindness for the sake of your father Jonathan, and I will restore to you all the land of Saul your father, andyou shall eat at my table always.8And he paid homage and said, What is your servant, that you should show regard fora dead dog such as I? 9Then the king called Ziba, Saul's servant, and said to him, All that belonged to Saul and to all his house I have given to your master's grandson.10And you and your sons and your servants shall till the land for him and shall bring in the produce, that your master's grandson may have bread to eat. But Mephibosheth your master's grandsonshall always eat at my table. Now Ziba hadfifteen sons and twenty servants.11Then Ziba said to the king, According to all that my lord the king commands his servant, so will your servant do. So Mephiboshethate at David'stable, like one of the king's sons.12And Mephibosheth had a young son, whose name was Mica. And all who lived in Ziba's house became Mephibosheth's servants.13So Mephibosheth lived in Jerusalem, forhe ate always at the king's table. Nowhe was lame in both his feet.

Lessons2 Kings 22:1-13English Standard Version22 Josiah was eight years old when he began to reign, and he reigned thirty-one years in Jerusalem. His mother's name was Jedidah the daughter of Adaiah of Bozkath. 2 And he did what was right in the eyes of the Lord and walked in all the way of David his father, and he did not turn aside to the right or to the left.3 In the eighteenth year of King Josiah, the king sent Shaphan the son of Azaliah, son of Meshullam, the secretary, to the house of the Lord, saying, 4 “Go up to Hilkiah the high priest, that he may count the money that has been brought into the house of the Lord, which the keepers of the threshold have collected from the people. 5 And let it be given into the hand of the workmen who have the oversight of the house of the Lord, and let them give it to the workmen who are at the house of the Lord, repairing the house 6 (that is, to the carpenters, and to the builders, and to the masons), and let them use it for buying timber and quarried stone to repair the house. 7 But no accounting shall be asked from them for the money that is delivered into their hand, for they deal honestly.”8 And Hilkiah the high priest said to Shaphan the secretary, “I have found the Book of the Law in the house of the Lord.” And Hilkiah gave the book to Shaphan, and he read it. 9 And Shaphan the secretary came to the king, and reported to the king, “Your servants have emptied out the money that was found in the house and have delivered it into the hand of the workmen who have the oversight of the house of the Lord.” 10 Then Shaphan the secretary told the king, “Hilkiah the priest has given me a book.” And Shaphan read it before the king.11 When the king heard the words of the Book of the Law, he tore his clothes. 12 And the king commanded Hilkiah the priest, and Ahikam the son of Shaphan, and Achbor the son of Micaiah, and Shaphan the secretary, and Asaiah the king's servant, saying, 13 “Go, inquire of the Lord for me, and for the people, and for all Judah, concerning the words of this book that has been found. For great is the wrath of the Lord that is kindled against us, because our fathers have not obeyed the words of this book, to do according to all that is written concerning us.”1 Corinthians 11:2English Standard Version2 Now I commend you because you remember me in everything and maintain the traditions even as I delivered them to you.1 Corinthians 11:17-22English Standard Version17 But in the following instructions I do not commend you, because when you come together it is not for the better but for the worse. 18 For, in the first place, when you come together as a church, I hear that there are divisions among you. And I believe it in part, 19 for there must be factions among you in order that those who are genuine among you may be recognized. 20 When you come together, it is not the Lord's supper that you eat. 21 For in eating, each one goes ahead with his own meal. One goes hungry, another gets drunk. 22 What! Do you not have houses to eat and drink in? Or do you despise the church of God and humiliate those who have nothing? What shall I say to you? Shall I commend you in this? No, I will not. The Word of the Lord. Thanks Be To God. From Atheists.orgTrusting God“A good man obtaineth favour of the LORD…” — Proverbs 12:2Now consider the case of Job. After commissioning Satan to ruin Job financially and to slaughter his shepherds and children to win a petty bet with Satan. God asked Satan: “Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? and still he holdeth fast his integrity, although thou movedst me against him, to destroy him without cause.” — Job 2:3Can two Christians deal with this? We have followed too much the devices and desires of our own hearts. We have offended against your holy laws.We have left undone those things which we ought to have done, and we have done those things which we ought not to have done; and apart from your grace, there is no health in us. O Lord, have mercy upon us. Spare all those who confess their faults. Restore all those who are penitent, according to your promises declared to all people in Christ Jesus our Lord. And grant, O most merciful Father, for his sake, that we may now live a godly, righteous, and sober life, to the glory of your holy Name. O Gracious Light Phos hilaronO gracious Light, pure brightness of the everliving Father in heaven, O Jesus Christ, holy and blessed! Now as we come to the setting of the sun, and our eyes behold the vesper light, we sing your praises, O God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. You are worthy at all times to be praised by happy voices, O Son of God, O Giver of life, and to be glorified through all the worlds. Psalm 84 Quam dilecta!1How dear to me is your dwelling, O Lord of hosts! *My soul has a desire and longing for the courts of the Lord;my heart and my flesh rejoice in the living God.2The sparrow has found her a houseand the swallow a nest where she may lay her young; *by the side of your altars, O Lord of hosts,my King and my God.3Happy are they who dwell in your house! *they will always be praising you.4Happy are the people whose strength is in you! *whose hearts are set on the pilgrims' way.5Those who go through the desolate valley will find it a place of springs, *for the early rains have covered it with pools of water.6They will climb from height to height, *and the God of gods will reveal himself in Zion.7Lord God of hosts, hear my prayer; *hearken, O God of Jacob.8Behold our defender, O God; *and look upon the face of your Anointed.9For one day in your courts is better than a thousand in my own room, *and to stand at the threshold of the house of my Godthan to dwell in the tents of the wicked.10For the Lord God is both sun and shield; *he will give grace and glory;11No good thing will the Lord withhold *from those who walk with integrity.12O Lord of hosts, *happy are they who put their trust in you! Psalm 122 Lætatus sum1I was glad when they said to me, *“Let us go to the house of the Lord.”2Now our feet are standing *within your gates, O Jerusalem.3Jerusalem is built as a city *that is at unity with itself;4To which the tribes go up,the tribes of the Lord, *the assembly of Israel,to praise the Name of the Lord.5For there are the thrones of judgment, *the thrones of the house of David.6Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: *“May they prosper who love you.7Peace be within your walls *and quietness within your towers.8For my brethren and companions' sake, *I pray for your prosperity.9Because of the house of the Lord our God, *I will seek to do you good.” Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit: as it was in the beginning, is now, and will be for ever. The Lessons1 Samuel 1:21-28 English Standard Version21 The man Elkanah and all his house went up to offer to the Lord the yearly sacrifice and to pay his vow. 22 But Hannah did not go up, for she said to her husband, “As soon as the child is weaned, I will bring him, so that he may appear in the presence of the Lord and dwell there forever.” 23 Elkanah her husband said to her, “Do what seems best to you; wait until you have weaned him; only, may the Lord establish his word.” So the woman remained and nursed her son until she weaned him. 24 And when she had weaned him, she took him up with her, along with a three-year-old bull, an ephah of flour, and a skin of wine, and she brought him to the house of the Lord at Shiloh. And the child was young. 25 Then they slaughtered the bull, and they brought the child to Eli. 26 And she said, “Oh, my lord! As you live, my lord, I am the woman who was standing here in your presence, praying to the Lord. 27 For this child I prayed, and the Lord has granted me my petition that I made to him. 28 Therefore I have lent him to the Lord. As long as he lives, he is lent to the Lord.”And he worshiped the Lord there.Officiant: The Word of the LordPeople: Thanks be to God. The Song of Mary - MagnificatMy soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord, my spirit rejoices in God my Savior; * for he has looked with favor on his lowly servant From this day all generations will call me blessed: * the Almighty has done great things for me, and holy is his Name. He has mercy on those who fear him * in every generation. He has shown the strength of his arm, * he has scattered the proud in their conceit. He has cast down the mighty from their thrones, * and has lifted up the lowly. He has filled the hungry with good things, * and the rich he has sent away empty. He has come to the help of his servant Israel, * for he has remembered his promise of mercy, The promise he made to our fathers, * to Abraham and his children for ever.Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit: *as It was in the beginning, is now, and will be for ever. Amen. Matthew 18:1-14 English Standard Version18 At that time the disciples came to Jesus, saying, “Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?” 2 And calling to him a child, he put him in the midst of them 3 and said, “Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. 4 Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.5 “Whoever receives one such child in my name receives me, 6 but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a great millstone fastened around his neck and to be drowned in the depth of the sea.7 “Woe to the world for temptations to sin! For it is necessary that temptations come, but woe to the one by whom the temptation comes! 8 And if your hand or your foot causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life crippled or lame than with two hands or two feet to be thrown into the eternal fire. 9 And if your eye causes you to sin, tear it out and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life with one eye than with two eyes to be thrown into the hell of fire.10 “See that you do not despise one of these little ones. For I tell you that in heaven their angels always see the face of my Father who is in heaven. 12 What do you think? If a man has a hundred sheep, and one of them has gone astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine on the mountains and go in search of the one that went astray? 13 And if he finds it, truly, I say to you, he rejoices over it more than over the ninety-nine that never went astray. 14 So it is not the will of my Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish.Officiant: The Word of the LordPeople: Thanks be to God. Come, let us sing to the Lord; * let us shout for joy to the Rock of our salvation.Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving * and raise a loud shout to him with psalms. For the Lord is a great God, * and a great King above all gods.In his hand are the caverns of the earth, * and the heights of the hills are his also. The sea is his, for he made it, * and his hands have molded the dry land.Come, let us bow down, and bend the knee, * and kneel before the Lord our Maker. For he is our God, and we are the people of his pasture and the sheep of his hand. *Oh, that today you would hearken to his voice! Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit: *as it was in the beginning, is now, and will be forever. Amen. LessonsNahum 1:1-13English Standard VersionAn oracle concerning Nineveh. Honestly, it's really a tough, tough situation to deal with.00:01:13LaylaUh, if I rather have a job, but I really love it.00:01:19LaylaBut I couldn't make enough money exactly at the question said to travel financially.00:01:29LaylaOr maybe to have a job that saves a lot of money, but I am never happy. I maybe that job doesn't make.00:01:39LaylaMe happy at all.00:01:41LaylaI think she.00:01:44LaylaUh, I will go with the job that I love because I want to feel.00:01:52LaylaI want to.00:01:53LaylaSee my relax. Uh, maybe with the job that I love, I love it. I I can make a process and.00:02:04LaylaTo develop myself in some different ways, which makes me be able to get another chance of another job. So.00:02:15LaylaBecause I love that job strongly, I have a passion about it.00:02:20LaylaSo I think I will go with the having.00:02:24LaylaA job that I really like it.00:02:27JackOK.00:02:27LaylaBecause I think I will create about that job.00:02:31JackYeah. You're taking you're kind of taking a risk. You're taking a gamble.00:02:36JackOn and following your we say in English following your gut, you know your gut instinct, right? It's like I think I should be doing this even though I don't make a lot of money. This is what I really love. This is my passion. OK, that's very respect. Respectable. You know, that's commendable.00:02:57JackI like that answer.00:02:59JackAll right.00:03:00JackTrick. What about you, Sir? What are you going to choose? You going to take the job? That pays well, but doesn't make you happy. Or are you going to follow your passion and take the job that you love, even though you're not making much money and you are struggling financially?00:03:19HendrickWow. Yeah, to be honest, it's quite tough, but I think I will go with the number.00:03:28HendrickLike I will, I will. I will try to have, like, a job that pays well, but doesn't make me happy because yeah, I mean like.00:03:39HendrickAt least you know, like I have a job. And then I have good financial like I have this money and then.00:03:48HendrickI have a.00:03:48HendrickDoubt with the number one, I mean like you have like a job that you love but you don't, you know, like good at financial. I think that's also not make you happy like you know like struggle in financial.00:04:04HendrickI mean like we will be happy.00:04:06HendrickWith that right?00:04:08HendrickAnd at least I mean like I.00:04:10HendrickJust need to work.00:04:12HendrickIs a day in a job like maybe 8 hours or seven hours? Yeah, maybe at a time.00:04:19HendrickI I'm not happy, but I'm I think after that after I receive the money, maybe I will be happy, yes.00:04:26JackRight.00:04:27JackSo, OK, so you're you're not happy at work for 8 hours, but you're happy at home because you have money and you can really buy some stuff that will make you happy and then sleep 8 hours. So 16 hours. You're doing OK? Yeah.00:04:34HendrickX icon.00:04:39HendrickYeah, rather.00:04:42HendrickYeah, rather than, you know, like you have a job that you really love, but you know, like, your struggle financial. So I I say, like, I mean like, it's good rather than, you know, like you have a good job, but you know.00:04:55HendrickAfter that you have to struggle with financial I mean like you also need money to eat. Need money to for something.00:05:03JackRight, no, this isn't. This is, this is the why this is such a good question. May you're you've really, you've got my head spinning right now because Leila makes a good point and Hendrick makes a really good point. So may settle this debate for us. What do what? Which one are you going to choose?00:05:22MayTo be fair, I am still considering my my option for this question.00:05:28발표자 2OK.00:05:31LaylaShow me.00:05:34MayAnd getting a high pay sounds.00:05:40MayHowever, in this situation I I would rather go for go for a job that I love.00:05:47MayAlthough the pay is a little low, probably so probably I.00:05:56MayWe need to.00:05:56MayDo I will need to do some another job?00:06:00MayTo get extra income.00:06:03MayAs long as I am happy, because except the fact that.00:06:10MayEven though a company paid you very high.00:06:15MayIncome, I mean, if you earn very high from that company, but trust me most of the time you won't be able to go back on time. You need to come during the weekend or public.00:06:27MayOK, you need to do a lot of overtime until like when you go back home, you don't have. Don't even have time to see your family to hang out your friends. So that is.00:06:39MayMost of the time what you call.00:06:42MayHigh, high income job.00:06:45MaySo for all the reasons mentioned, I prefer to go for a job that I love. Although the pay is a little lower and probably I will do another.00:06:46HendrickOK.00:07:00MayPass to get some income.00:07:04JackNow I think may change the rules in the middle of the game here because it went from struggling financially to a little bit less pay.00:07:14JackI don't know. I'm not sure.00:07:14MayExactly. Yeah. And they struggle.00:07:19MayStruggling, struggling financially.00:07:22MayYeah, you, you get a job one job with.00:07:28MayI mean, but you get what you get the job, but the the money that you that you know every month is low. So I I'm thinking maybe if I OK if I I don't like doing this job but I'll maybe have another job so that I won't struggle.00:07:49JackOK, OK. So you have one job that you love and then you get to get another job that you maybe hate. So now you have two jobs, one that you love, but one that you really hate. But that's alright, I guess what you're saying, I get you're saying you're going to supplement your income somehow, make some extra money? Yeah.00:08:05MayYeah, something with my income.00:08:07MayProbably I can do something.00:08:10MaySo by doing that, I'll.00:08:11JackYeah, yeah, sure. Well, I.00:08:12JackDon't think you can invest any money you don't have. You're struggling financially. You don't have any money to invest.00:08:17MayBy so. So in that case I will choose to do another extra job so that I won't struggle financially.00:08:25JackOK, OK.00:08:27JackSure, sure, sure. OK. OK. Alright, I'm I think this is I'm going to choose. I'm going to go with Hendrick and I'm going to take the job that I hate.00:08:37JackUM, but pays really well, and I'm going to focus all my energy and my free time on my hobbies, and I'll have a lot of time to buy. Like good podcasting equipment and, you know, audio equipment and video equipment. And I can really make my hobby.00:08:56JackMy main job and then just work to live.00:09:00JackLive, you know, just go and work and make money, but it's not really my passion. I know it's.00:09:06JackSad, I mean.00:09:07JackI the best case scenario is that you work a job that you love and you make enough money to live comfortably, but in a lot a lot of situations for people.00:09:20JackThey work in jobs that they don't really like.00:09:24JackBut they can't quit because they need the money. They have families, they have, you know, kids that are studying ballet at a boarding school in America, there's things like that. So just for example.00:09:42JackYeah. So you know in my opinion, I mean it it I know it's it's not exactly a romantic situation, you know, but but it's. But it's practical. It's practical. And so even though I really respect Layla and Maze answers because I think you guys are following your heart.00:09:43MayWhich is.00:09:55Layla00.00:10:03JackAnd your passion.00:10:05JackI just. I don't want to struggle.00:10:08JackBecause I I have.00:10:09JackWorked many jobs that I hate and also struggled financially.00:10:14JackI had it.00:10:15JackI didn't get paid well and I hated the job, so.00:10:19LaylaThis is really the worst.00:10:21발표자If I can.00:10:22JackAt least.00:10:22JackGet at work. A job that I hate and get paid. Well, that's better than what I was.00:10:27JackDoing in the past so.00:10:29LaylaRight.00:10:30JackYeah, yeah.00:10:32JackSo that's my yeah.00:10:33MayBut then Jack, I have a question like I just want to ask your point on this. Let's say if you looking in the A you got a job and your income the the company will really pay you very well, but then you don't even have time to.00:10:52MayBuy the things that you like, do whatever things you want to do.00:10:56MaySo will you feel happy or will you satisfy?00:11:00JackWell, that depends. I guess I we didn't really discuss the the rules of this question very clearly. I was assuming that both jobs are 40 hours a week, you know 40 or 50 hours a week. But one job you enjoy the other job you don't enjoy. But the time is the same.00:11:20JackIf you if.00:11:20발표자 2It is only.00:11:20JackI have to work 80 hours a week.00:11:22JackWeek to get the good paying job, then I'll just work the job that I hate. But I'll work 80 hours a week and then I'll make enough money to survive. So.00:11:35JackYeah, I I understand what you're saying. And you're right. Most people who have a lot of responsibility and are at high positions in companies, they work really, really long hours. That's just a fact. That's true. So I would not, I would not agree to that. I don't want to do that.00:11:48MayYeah. Check.00:11:55JackI want to I want to have leisure time. I want to have spend time with my family. I want to spend time with my my online students making the podcast, teaching in the Zoom sessions and making content for my channel. So in that case.00:12:14JackI don't think I would sacrifice all of that for one high paying job where I have to work 80 hours a week.00:12:22JackI couldn't do it.00:12:23JackSo I guess I agree a little bit with you may and I agree a little bit with Hendra and I agree a little bit.00:12:29JackWith Leila. So I cheated.00:12:30발표자 2It looks like you're on both side.00:12:32발표자 2Now, yeah, you. You were saying? I tried to change.00:12:32JackYeah, I cheated. I.00:12:33JackI'm standing on the fence right now.00:12:42JackRight, I always accuse May of being the cheater of trying to have to play both sides, but today I'm.00:12:48JackBoth sides Jack today. Yeah. This. Yeah.00:12:52MayOK.00:12:54JackI'm gonna. I'm gonna.00:12:55JackThrow it out to our listeners out there cause we're kind of split here 5050. So I want the listeners to be the tiebreaker. Amen. The Apostles CreedI believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth.I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended to the dead. On the third day he rose again. He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again to judge the living and the dead.I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen. The PrayersLord, have mercy.Christ, have mercyLord, have mercyOur Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever and ever. Amen. The SuffragesO Lord, show your mercy upon us;And grant us your salvation.O Lord, guide those who govern usAnd lead us in the way of justice and truth.Clothe your ministers with righteousnessAnd let your people sing with joy.O Lord, save your peopleAnd bless your inheritance.Give peace in our time, O LordAnd defend us by your mighty power.Let not the needy, O Lord, be forgottenNor the hope of the poor be taken away.Create in us clean hearts, O GodAnd take not your Holy Spirit from us. Take a moment of silence at this time to reflect and pray for others. The CollectsProper 22Almighty and everlasting God, you are always more ready to hear than we to pray, and to give more than we either desire or deserve: Pour upon us the abundance of your mercy, forgiving us those things of which our conscience is afraid, and giving us those good things for which we are not worthy to ask, except through the merits and mediation of Jesus Christ our Savior; who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen. Daily Collects:A Collect for PeaceO God, the author of peace and lover of concord, to know you is eternal life and to serve you is perfect freedom: Defend us, your humble servants, in all assaults of our enemies; that we, surely trusting in your defense, may not fear the power of any adversaries, through the might of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.A Collect for GraceO Lord, our heavenly Father, almighty and everlasting God, you have brought us safely to the beginning of this day: Defend us by your mighty power, that we may not fall into sin nor run into any danger; and that, guided by your Spirit, we may do what is righteous in your sight; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.Collect of Saint BasilO Christ God, Who art worshipped and glorified at every place and time; Who art long-suffering, most merciful and compassionate; Who lovest the righteous and art merciful to sinners; Who callest all to salvation with the promise of good things to come: receive, Lord, the prayers we now offer, and direct our lives in the way of Thy commandments. Sanctify our souls, cleanse our bodies, correct our thoughts, purify our minds and deliver us from all affliction, evil and illness. Surround us with Thy holy angels, that guarded and instructed by their forces, we may reach unity of faith and the understanding of Thine unapproachable glory: for blessed art Thou unto ages of ages. Amen. General ThanksgivingAlmighty God, Father of all mercies, we your unworthy servants give you humble thanks for all your goodness and loving-kindness to us and to all whom you have made. We bless you for our creation, preservation, and all the blessings of this life; but above all for your immeasurable love in the redemption of the world by our Lord Jesus Christ; for the means of grace, and for the hope of glory. And, we pray, give us such an awareness of your mercies, that with truly thankful hearts we may show forth your praise, not only with our lips, but in our lives, by giving up our selves to your service, and by walking before you in holiness and righteousness all our days; Through Jesus Christ our Lord, to whom, with you and the Holy Spirit, be honor and glory throughout all ages. Amen. A Prayer of St. John ChrysostomAlmighty God, you have given us grace at this time, with one accord to make our common supplications to you; and you have promised through your well-beloved Son that when two or three are gathered together in his Name you will grant their requests: Fulfill now, O Lord, our desires and petitions as may be best for us; granting us in this world knowledge of your truth, and in the age to come life everlasting. Amen. DismissalLet us bless the LordThanks be to God!Alleluia, Alleluia! BenedictionThe grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with us all evermore. Amen

Lessons2 Samuel 18:9-18English Standard Version9 And Absalom happened to meet the servants of David. Absalom was riding on his mule, and the mule went under the thick branches of a great oak, and his head caught fast in the oak, and he was suspended between heaven and earth, while the mule that was under him went on. 10 And a certain man saw it and told Joab, “Behold, I saw Absalom hanging in an oak.” 11 Joab said to the man who told him, “What, you saw him! Why then did you not strike him there to the ground? I would have been glad to give you ten pieces of silver and a belt.” 12 But the man said to Joab, “Even if I felt in my hand the weight of a thousand pieces of silver, I would not reach out my hand against the king's son, for in our hearing the king commanded you and Abishai and Ittai, ‘For my sake protect the young man Absalom.' 13 On the other hand, if I had dealt treacherously against his life (and there is nothing hidden from the king), then you yourself would have stood aloof.” 14 Joab said, “I will not waste time like this with you.” And he took three javelins in his hand and thrust them into the heart of Absalom while he was still alive in the oak. 15 And ten young men, Joab's armor-bearers, surrounded Absalom and struck him and killed him.16 Then Joab blew the trumpet, and the troops came back from pursuing Israel, for Joab restrained them. 17 And they took Absalom and threw him into a great pit in the forest and raised over him a very great heap of stones. And all Israel fled every one to his own home. 18 Now Absalom in his lifetime had taken and set up for himself the pillar that is in the King's Valley, for he said, “I have no son to keep my name in remembrance.” He called the pillar after his own name, and it is called Absalom's monument to this day.Acts 23:12-24English Standard Version12 When it was day, the Jews made a plot and bound themselves by an oath neither to eat nor drink till they had killed Paul. 13 There were more than forty who made this conspiracy. 14 They went to the chief priests and elders and said, “We have strictly bound ourselves by an oath to taste no food till we have killed Paul. 15 Now therefore you, along with the council, give notice to the tribune to bring him down to you, as though you were going to determine his case more exactly. And we are ready to kill him before he comes near.”16 Now the son of Paul's sister heard of their ambush, so he went and entered the barracks and told Paul. 17 Paul called one of the centurions and said, “Take this young man to the tribune, for he has something to tell him.” 18 So he took him and brought him to the tribune and said, “Paul the prisoner called me and asked me to bring this young man to you, as he has something to say to you.” 19 The tribune took him by the hand, and going aside asked him privately, “What is it that you have to tell me?” 20 And he said, “The Jews have agreed to ask you to bring Paul down to the council tomorrow, as though they were going to inquire somewhat more closely about him. 21 But do not be persuaded by them, for more than forty of their men are lying in ambush for him, who have bound themselves by an oath neither to eat nor drink till they have killed him. And now they are ready, waiting for your consent.” 22 So the tribune dismissed the young man, charging him, “Tell no one that you have informed me of these things.”23 Then he called two of the centurions and said, “Get ready two hundred soldiers, with seventy horsemen and two hundred spearmen to go as far as Caesarea at the third hour of the night. 24 Also provide mounts for Paul to ride and bring him safely to Felix the governor.” The Word of the Lord. Thanks Be To God. Genesis 1:1-31 1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. 3And God said, Let there be light, and there was light. 4God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness. 5God called the light day, and the darkness he called night. And there was evening, and there was morning the first day. 6And God said, Let there be a vault between the waters to separate water from water. 7So God made the vault and separated the water under the vault from the water above it. And it was so. 8God called the vault sky. And there was evening, and there was morning the second day. 9And God said, Let the water under the sky be gathered to one place, and let dry ground appear. And it was so. 10God called the dry ground land, and the gathered waters he called seas. And God saw that it was good. 11Then God said, Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds. And it was so. 12The land produced vegetation: plants bearing seed according to their kinds and trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good. 13And there was evening, and there was morning the third day. 14And God said, Let there be lights in the vault of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark sacred times, and days and years, 15and let them be lights in the vault of the sky to give light on the earth. And it was so. 16 God made two great lights the greater light to govern the day and the lesser light to govern the night. He also made the stars. 17God set them in the vault of the sky to give light on the earth, 18to govern the day and the night, and to separate light from darkness. And God saw that it was good. 19And there was evening, and there was morning the fourth day. 20And God said, Let the water teem with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the vault of the sky. 21So God created the great creatures of the sea and every living thing with which the water teems and that moves about in it, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. 22God blessed them and said, Be fruitful and increase in number and fill the water in the seas, and let the birds increase on the earth. 23And there was evening, and there was morning the fifth day. 24And God said, Let the land produce living creatures according to their kinds: the livestock, the creatures that move along the ground, and the wild animals, each according to its kind. And it was so. 25God made the wild animals according to their kinds, the livestock according to their kinds, and all the creatures that move along the ground according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good. 26Then God said, Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground. 27So God created mankind in his own image,in the image of God he created them;male and female he created them. 28God blessed them and said to them, Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground. 29 Then God said, I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food. 30 And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds in the sky and all the creatures that move along the ground—everything that has the breath of life in itI give every green plant for food. And it was so. 31 God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morningthe sixth day. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/shcc/message

Lessons1 Samuel 11English Standard Version11 Then Nahash the Ammonite went up and besieged Jabesh-gilead, and all the men of Jabesh said to Nahash, “Make a treaty with us, and we will serve you.” 2 But Nahash the Ammonite said to them, “On this condition I will make a treaty with you, that I gouge out all your right eyes, and thus bring disgrace on all Israel.” 3 The elders of Jabesh said to him, “Give us seven days' respite that we may send messengers through all the territory of Israel. Then, if there is no one to save us, we will give ourselves up to you.” 4 When the messengers came to Gibeah of Saul, they reported the matter in the ears of the people, and all the people wept aloud.5 Now, behold, Saul was coming from the field behind the oxen. And Saul said, “What is wrong with the people, that they are weeping?” So they told him the news of the men of Jabesh. 6 And the Spirit of God rushed upon Saul when he heard these words, and his anger was greatly kindled. 7 He took a yoke of oxen and cut them in pieces and sent them throughout all the territory of Israel by the hand of the messengers, saying, “Whoever does not come out after Saul and Samuel, so shall it be done to his oxen!” Then the dread of the Lord fell upon the people, and they came out as one man. 8 When he mustered them at Bezek, the people of Israel were three hundred thousand, and the men of Judah thirty thousand. 9 And they said to the messengers who had come, “Thus shall you say to the men of Jabesh-gilead: ‘Tomorrow, by the time the sun is hot, you shall have salvation.'” When the messengers came and told the men of Jabesh, they were glad. 10 Therefore the men of Jabesh said, “Tomorrow we will give ourselves up to you, and you may do to us whatever seems good to you.” 11 And the next day Saul put the people in three companies. And they came into the midst of the camp in the morning watch and struck down the Ammonites until the heat of the day. And those who survived were scattered, so that no two of them were left together.12 Then the people said to Samuel, “Who is it that said, ‘Shall Saul reign over us?' Bring the men, that we may put them to death.” 13 But Saul said, “Not a man shall be put to death this day, for today the Lord has worked salvation in Israel.” 14 Then Samuel said to the people, “Come, let us go to Gilgal and there renew the kingdom.” 15 So all the people went to Gilgal, and there they made Saul king before the Lord in Gilgal. There they sacrificed peace offerings before the Lord, and there Saul and all the men of Israel rejoiced greatly. Acts 8:1-13English Standard Version8 And Saul approved of his execution. And there arose on that day a great persecution against the church in Jerusalem, and they were all scattered throughout the regions of Judea and Samaria, except the apostles. 2 Devout men buried Stephen and made great lamentation over him. 3 But Saul was ravaging the church, and entering house after house, he dragged off men and women and committed them to prison.4 Now those who were scattered went about preaching the word. 5 Philip went down to the city of Samaria and proclaimed to them the Christ. 6 And the crowds with one accord paid attention to what was being said by Philip, when they heard him and saw the signs that he did. 7 For unclean spirits, crying out with a loud voice, came out of many who had them, and many who were paralyzed or lame were healed. 8 So there was much joy in that city.9 But there was a man named Simon, who had previously practiced magic in the city and amazed the people of Samaria, saying that he himself was somebody great. 10 They all paid attention to him, from the least to the greatest, saying, “This man is the power of God that is called Great.” 11 And they paid attention to him because for a long time he had amazed them with his magic. 12 But when they believed Philip as he preached good news about the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women. 13 Even Simon himself believed, and after being baptized he continued with Philip. And seeing signs and great miracles performed, he was amazed. The Word of the Lord. Thanks Be To God. First ReadingWISDOM 2:1, 12-221For they reasoned unsoundly, saying to themselves, "Short and sorrowful is our life, and there is no remedy when a man comes to his end, and no one has been known to return from Hades. 12"Let us lie in wait for the righteous man, because he is inconvenient to us and opposes our actions; he reproaches us for sins against the law, and accuses us of sins against our training. 13He professes to have knowledge of God, and calls himself a child of the Lord. 14He became to us a reproof of our thoughts; 15the very sight of him is a burden to us, because his manner of life is unlike that of others, and his ways are strange. 16We are considered by him as something base, and he avoids our ways as unclean; he calls the last end of the righteous happy, and boasts that God is his father. 17Let us see if his words are true, and let us test what will happen at the end of his life; 18for if the righteous man is God's son, he will help him, and will deliver him from the hand of his adversaries. 19Let us test him with insult and torture, that we may find out how gentle he is, and make trial of his forbearance. 20Let us condemn him to a shameful death, for, according to what he says, he will be protected." 21Thus they reasoned, but they were led astray, for their wickedness blinded them, 22and they did not know the secret purposes of God, nor hope for the wages of holiness, nor discern the prize for blameless souls;GospelJOHN 7:1-2, 10, 25-301After this Jesus went about in Galilee; he would not go about in Judea, because the Jews sought to kill him. 2Now the Jews' feast of Tabernacles was at hand. 10But after his brothers had gone up to the feast, then he also went up, not publicly but in private. 25Some of the people of Jerusalem therefore said, "Is not this the man whom they seek to kill? 26And here he is, speaking openly, and they say nothing to him! Can it be that the authorities really know that this is the Christ? 27Yet we know where this man comes from; and when the Christ appears, no one will know where he comes from." 28So Jesus proclaimed, as he taught in the temple, "You know me, and you know where I come from? But I have not come of my own accord; he who sent me is true, and him you do not know. 29I know him, for I come from him, and he sent me." 30So they sought to arrest him; but no one laid hands on him, because his hour had not yet come.

In this episode we discuss the deep importance of us of learning to walk with faith, of coming to understand what it is, why it's important, and how to develop and use it in our own lives. I share clips from 3 excellent women who are expert on the topic and we talk about how we have to have more faith in our why, in ourselves, and in our supportive universal purpose and God, than we have in fear. In this clip I have just grabbed a little piece from the first of these women. Take a listen.#4Having the faith to take action in your life is a HUGE step to making things happen, but one of the next most powerful steps in creating a peaceful life is the ability to see how our trials help us to grow - to be able to recognize that the shit of life is the fertilizer….I'll add in this little thought as well. I was reading a symposium paper on why bad things happen, and there was a wonderful section that talked about how we CANNOT learn to forgive without being hurt and having someone to forgive. We cannot learn patience without having to struggle with the shortage of time, we can't gain understanding and empathy without knowing a particular pain - someone who has struggled with illness can understand another who struggles with this also. etc.. While our desire to avoid pain is strong, growth, understanding and the development of Christ-like qualities comes only through knowing the opposite side of it. Which takes us to #4 - Episode 227, my interview with Carrington Smith, the author of Blooming: Finding Gifts in the Shit of LifeHere's a clip from listener favorite #4: (Tune into the audio program)You can find the whole episode that includes her numerous personal stories of rape and abuse and how she comes to claim her story. The New World Order isn't coming to America. It's here. From the day Satan was kicked out of heaven, he has attempted to create the New World Order, in total rebellion against God. The anarchists in America are trying to destroy our democracy. They are not patriots. We cannot function without the rule of law. Historically, every attempt to establish the New World Order began with rebellion. Evil can have a religious face and kill you. What is the deep state church, and how is totalitarianism creeping in? Wake up, America!Pastor John Hagee delivered this sermon last spring based on his book Earth's Last Empire. The New World Order is not a new concept. It's objective from Genesis to today is to rebel against the authority of God. It all began with Nimrod, who's name means revolt, when he proposed to build the tower Babel. Known as a murderer of men and a rebel against God, Nimrod was Satan's disciple.Babel means confusion and God is not the author of confusion.Nimrod gradually changed the government into tyranny, to turn men from the fear of God and to bring them into constant dependence on his power.JosepheusSounds familiar, right? Nimrod's compulsion for absolute control set the foundation for The New World Order. Nimrod intended to become the dictator of both the government and the counterfeit religion that he and his wife put together. He declared himself King and his bride, Samiramus, as the Queen and high priestess of idolatry. Here at Babel is the first organized idolatrous religious system and is survives today. Now the whole earth had one language and the same words. And as people migrated from the east, they found a plain in the land of Shinar and settled there. And they said to one another, “Come, let us make bricks, and burn them thoroughly.” And they had brick for stone, and bitumen for mortar. Then they said, “Come, let us build ourselves a city and a tower with its top in the heavens, and let us make a name for ourselves, lest we be dispersed over the face of the whole earth.” And the Lord came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of man had built. And the Lord said, “Behold, they are one people, and they have all one language, and this is only the beginning of what they will do. And nothing that they propose to do will now be impossible for them. Come, let us go down and there confuse their language, so that they may not understand one another's speech.” So the Lord dispersed them from there over the face of all the earth, and they left off building the city. Therefore its name was called Babel, because there the Lord confused the language of all the earth. And from there the Lord dispersed them over the face of all the earth.Genesis 11:1-9Samiramus knew enough about the revelation of God to know that God had promised the seed of the woman would bring blessings to the world (Gen. 3:15). She had a son and named him Tammuz. She claimed that he was the divine fulfillment of Genesis 3:15. She made herself and her son the symbols of worship, called the mother child cult, with the mother holding the child in her arms. This cult spread to Phoenicia and then to Pergamum and on to Rome. And to the angel of the church in Pergamum write: ‘The words of him who has the sharp two-edged sword. I know where you dwell, where Satan's throne is. Yet you hold fast my name, and you did not deny my faith my faithful witness, who was killed among you, where Satan dwells.Revelation 2:12-13We are on this Earth to be salt and light. Salt stops corruption; it irritates. Light destroys darkness. Satan is the prince of darkness. Socialism is darkness, but we are the source of the truth to a nation that's now stumbling in deception because of our national leadership. We are the source of hope, we are built on the solid rock Jesus Christ who is hope to the hopeless. God is with us! We will press on because God is with us and everything is going to be alright.Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?2 Corinthians 6:14Therefore go out from their midst, and be separate from them, says the Lord, and touch no unclean thing;then I will welcome you,2 Corinthians 6:17Samiramus set herself up as the only approach to God. She adopted the title of The Queen Of Heaven. She taught that salvation came through her by the means of sprinkling of water and ceremonial cleansing. There was a pergetorial cleansing after death. She created temple virgins, now known as nuns, to pray for her son, who was killed by a wild beast. They were to fast for 40 days, which is now called lent. At the end of those 40 days, they would celebrate Isthar, which we now call Easter. They gave colored eggs to each other to celebrate eternal life. We are still doing it today. We, the body of Christ, celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus Christ and nothing else! We celebrate His victory over death, hell and the grave. Because He lives, we shall live also! This mother child cult spread to Israel, when Ahab, the King of Israel, married Jezzabel, who was raised in the mother child cult. She immediately began to put the prophets of God into prison. Why? Because a socialist dictatorship cannot stand a bible preaching ministry. Soon after, Israel started worshiping Baal and God sent severe judgement upon Israel.Abraham was called out Ur and out of a home that worshiped the mother child cult. His father kept his idols until the day he died. And Joshua said to all the people, “Thus says the Lord, the God of Israel, ‘Long ago, your fathers lived beyond the Euphrates, Terah, the father of Abraham and of Nahor; and they served other gods.Joshua 24:2Now the Lord said to Abram, “Go from your country and your kindred and your father's house to the land that I will show you.Genesis 12:1There must be separation between light and darkness. What you are willing to walk away from will determine what God can bring you to. You must walk away from darkness before you can embrace the light.Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?2 Corinthians 6:14Therefore go out from their midst, and be separate from them, says the Lord, and touch no unclean thing;then I will welcome you,2 Corinthians 6:17We are not trying to be like the world. We are the light of the world. Turn on the light! But they did not listen or incline their ear, to turn from their evil and make no offerings to other gods. Therefore my wrath and my anger were poured out and kindled in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem, and they became a waste and a desolation, as at this day. Jeremiah 44:5-6God tells us why he's coming to send the children of Israel into captivity. It's because they worshiped the mother child cult. You shall have no other gods before me.Exodus 20:3That's not a request, that's a command! In Ezekiel 8 we see the Jewish people in the temple of God who are worshiping idols to the Queen of Heaven. God sent Ezekiel to the temple to peek through a hole in the wall to see what the people in the temple were doing. They were praying to the Queen of Heaven. This is the Babylonian cult of Nimrod and Samiramus. The people continued to worship the mother child cult, which remains a global and powerful religion that will clash with the antichrist for global control in the near future. Why? Because they both want the same thing. The antichrist wants to control the world and the false religion that's coming is going to want to dominate the world.Rejoice over her, O heaven, and you saints and apostles and prophets, for God has given judgment for you against her!”Then a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone and threw it into the sea, saying,So will Babylon the great city be thrown down with violence, and will be found no more;Revelation 18:20-21The bible clearly teaches that Rome will be completely demolished as the antichrist destroys the mother child cult and becomes an instant global dictator.Listen closely! There is one mediator between God and man. It is not the Queen of Heaven. It is not a man. It is the Lord Jesus Christ who is King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Who was crucified for you and I.Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every namePhilippians 2:9and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.Philippians 2:11We celebrate Jesus who loved us and gave himself for us at the cross. There is only God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ. The second appearance of the New World Order, Satan came to Jesus and said:And he said to him, “All these I will give you, if you will fall down and worship me.”Matthew 4:9When Satan was kicked out of heaven, he was called the prince of darkness. He had authority over the earth, until the cross. That's why socialism must control the church. We live under the authority of God almighty and His Word. We will bow to no one but Jesus Christ, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.Socialism must attack the church and they will if we allow that to take our government over. You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.

Though they know God's righteous decree that those who practice such things deserve to die, they not only do them but give approval to those who practice them.
Should you bulk, cut, or maingainFirst off all of this depends on your goals. If you're looking to bodybuild I would say maintaining is not the way.You will see slower progress and if you're looking to be serious about the sport you're going to want to be taking your off season seriously and GROWING.That doesn't mean eat everything in sight and throw out a plan though.Take a calculated approach to your off season just like you would prep. It won't be as rigorous but you want to have a method and plan to progress.Don't let yourself get sloppyBut don't get complacent and caught up in being “lean “ year round. If you're looking to maintain aesthetics and you workout for stress relief, fun, and to boost your confidence I would say maingaining is the way.My definition of maingaining would be eating at maintenance calories or doing a lean bulk-Ive done tons of videos on maintenance calories but a way to roughly calculate your maintenance calories is by using BMRBMR = 10 X YOUR BW IN LBSEx: 10 X 200 lbs = 2,000 kcalThen multiply your BMR by your activity factor to get your maintenance calories2,000 X 1.3 acitvty level (SEDENTARY PLUS 3-6 DAYS OF WEIGHT LIFTING) 1.3-1.6Activity factors range fromSedentary plus 3-6 days weight lifting week 1.3-1.6Lightly active plus 3-6 days o weight lifting week 1.5-1.8Active plus 3-6 days if weight lifting 1.7-2.0Very active plus 3-6 days of weight lifting 1.9-2.2Now to bulk you want to 10-20 percent calories additionUpper end for beginnersLower end for advancedYou should expect between 0.25-0.5% weight gain each weekTo cut you want a 20-30% calories reductionLower end for low body fat and advanced level ( these individuals usually have more muscle mass so they need a less decrease in food to start so that muscle sticks around better)Higher end for high body fat and beginnersShould expect 0.5-1.0% weight loss per weekSo again to overview bulking is the way to go in the offseason as a bodybuilder and obviously cutting would be prep but those numbers would vary/be different depending on the athlete (PED usage, genetics, etc.)If you're working out to maintain quality of life, have fun, and just be jacked and shredded id say maingaining would be the way for you year round but its whatever floats your boat!ReferencesJ3 University Nutrition ModulesLenzi, Jaqueline L.1; Teixeira, Emerson L.1; de Jesus, Guilherme1; Schoenfeld, Brad J.2; de Salles Painelli, Vitor1,3 Dietary Strategies of Modern Bodybuilders During Different Phases of the Competitive Cycle, Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research: September 2021 - Volume 35 - Issue 9 - p 2546-2551 doi: 10.1519/JSC.0000000000003169Schoenfeld BJ. God Created Because God Is Love Genesis 1:1 - 2 1In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.
1But God remembered Noah and all the wild animals and the livestock that were with him in the ark, and he sent a wind over the earth, and the waters receded. 2Now the springs of the deep and the floodgates of the heavens had been closed, and the rain had stopped falling from the sky. […]
Transcript:Don't get me wrong. I love it! Don't get me wrong. Don't get me wrong. I'm not trying to get you or anything. In this episode, you will get familiar with the expression "don't get me wrong". And as usual here on the Vocab Man you'll listen to several examples of the expression that we are going to cover so that you can memorize it in a very easy way. 0:32 Example 1 Surely recycling can fix the plastic problem. Don't get me wrong. Recycling is vital for dealing with waste. I'm not saying you should just start checking everything in the bin for landfill, but unfortunately our recycling systems just can't cope with the amount of plastic we currently produce.Plastics can only be recycled a certain number of times, so we can't keep recycling the same thing forever and making new recycled goods out of the plastic we recycle also uses up a lot of energy and resources. Doesn't plastic packaging, prevent food waste. This might seem like a question with a simple answer, but the links between food waste and plastic packaging are complex.Don't forget to follow and to read the transcript. Of course.Don't get me wrong. It's a very practical and useful expression. I think it's only used in speech. So you probably won't find it in written form and you might use it to avoid a misunderstanding. What I want to say is. Maybe you believe that the things you are going to say is a bit delicate or could be easily misunderstood by someone else.So then you just begin with "don't get me wrong"But it also works the other way around because according to the Wiktionary "don't get me wrong" is used to clarify that something previously said did not have a meaning that could be misinterpreted.2:09 example 2Now don't get me wrong. I do think it's important to know what's going on in the world, but I just don't think following the day to day developments of the news cycle is the way to do that.So instead, I'm going to get one newspaper delivered to my house every week. And that is how I am going to stay informed. 2:29 Outro with Daniel GoodsonDon't get me wrong. What the man said just before. I mean, he made a good point, right? But on the other hand, one cool idea is to keep informed on a daily basis, maybe on the internet, but in English or in your target language, then it's a win-win situation. You keep informed. And at the same time you will learn a new language.Thank you for listening. Daniel Goodsonwww.myfluentpodcast.com

WE ARE REFER BACK TO THE BOOK OF GENESIS TO SEE WHAT THE FATHER DID WHEN DARKNESS ENGULFED HIS CREATION IN THE BEGINNING. THE PATTERN OF THE FATHER'S RESPOND TO THE FORMLESSNESS AND EMPTINESS THAT MANIFESTED THROUGH THE RELEASE OF DARKNESS IS HOW THE LORD WILL HAVE US RESPOND TO THE COMPLEX ISSUES AND CHALLENGES OF OUR TIME. WE ARE PLACED AS GOD'S REGENTS IN THE EARTH TO PROCLAIM AND DECLARE HIS LIGHT EVEN AS DARKNESS CONTINUE TO COVER SOCIETY. THIS IS AN INSPIRING MESSAGE THAT WILL RELOCATE YOUR HEART TO THE PLACE OF REDISCOERYING HIM WHO SEATS UPON THE THRONE. Genesis 1:1-3 In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. 2Now the earth was formless and void, and darkness was over the surface of the deep. John 5:118 (ESV) The Healing at the Pool on the Sabbath 5:1After this there was a feast of the Jews, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. 2Now there is in Jerusalem by the Sheep Gate a pool, in Aramaic called Bethesda, which has five roofed colonnades. 3In these lay a multitude of invalidsblind, lame, and paralyzed. 5One man was there who had been an invalid for thirty-eight years. 6When Jesus saw him lying there and knew that he had already been there a long time, he said to him, Do you want to be healed? 7The sick man answered him, Sir, I have no one to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up, and while I am going another steps down before me. 8Jesus said to him, Get up, take up your bed, and walk. 9And at once the man was healed, and he took up his bed and walked. Now that day was the Sabbath. 10So the Jews said to the man who had been healed, It is the Sabbath, and it is not lawful for you to take up your bed. 11But he answered them, The man who healed me, that man said to me, Take up your bed, and walk. 12They asked him, Who is the man who said to you, Take up your bed and walk? 13Now the man who had been healed did not know who it was, for Jesus had withdrawn, as there was a crowd in the place. 14Afterward Jesus found him in the temple and said to him, See, you are well! Sin no more, that nothing worse may happen to you. 15The man went away and told the Jews that it was Jesus who had healed him. 16And this was why the Jews were persecuting Jesus, because he was doing these things on the Sabbath. 17But Jesus answered them, My Father is working until now, and I am working. Jesus Is Equal with God 18This was why the Jews were seeking all the more to kill him, because not only was he breaking the Sabbath, but he was even calling God his own Father, making himself equal with God.
02.01.2021 *** Monday Bible Study with Scott: Be like Zacchaeus Is Jesus Christ coming to your house today?! *** Luke 19:1–10 (NKJV) 1Then Jesus entered and passed through Jericho. 2Now behold, there was a man named Zacchaeus who was a chief tax collector, and he was rich. 3And he sought to see who Jesus was, but could not because of the crowd, for he was of short stature. 4So he ran ahead and climbed up into a sycamore tree to see Him, for He was going to pass that way. 5And when Jesus came to the place, He looked up and saw him, and said to him, “Zacchaeus, make haste and come down, for today I must stay at your house.” 6So he made haste and came down, and received Him joyfully. 7But when they saw it, they all complained, saying, “He has gone to be a guest with a man who is a sinner.” 8Then Zacchaeus stood and said to the Lord, “Look, Lord, I give half of my goods to the poor; and if I have taken anything from anyone by false accusation, I restore fourfold.” 9And Jesus said to him, “Today salvation has come to this house, because he also is a son of Abraham; 10for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.”

WHERE BREAKTHROUGH BEGINS! - My Adventure Series. 03.12.17 Do You Need God To Do Something In Your Life? JOHN 5 1Some time later, Jesus went up to Jerusalem for one of the Jewish festivals. 2Now there is in Jerusalem near the Sheep Gate a pool, which in Aramaic is called Bethesda and which is surrounded by five covered colonnades. 3In these lay a multitude of those who were sick, blind, lame, and withered, [waiting for the moving of the waters; 4for an angel of the Lord went down at certain seasons into the pool, and stirred up the water; whoever then first, after the stirring up of the water, stepped in was made well from whatever disease with which he was afflicted.] 5And a certain man was there, who had been thirty-eight years in his sickness. 6When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he had already been a long time in that condition, He said to him, “Do you wish to get well?” “Waiting On The World To Change.” The First One In Would Win. That’s The Way Religion Works. You Don’t Have To Be First. The More Desperate The Situation The Greater The Opportunity For A Miracle. “I Ain’t Got Nobody.” Faith Has The Ability To Override The Facts. John 4 - You Don’t Need A Bucket When You’re The Well. You Don’t Have To Come To The Water. The Water Came To You “B.Y.O.B.” Bring Your Own Breakthrough. Breakthrough Doesn’t Change The Situation. Breakthrough Changes You. What If The Only Thing Blocking Your Breakthrough Is Your Willingness To Believe That Breakthrough Is Possible. 8Then Jesus said to him, “Get up! Pick up your mat and walk.” 9At once the man was cured; he picked up his mat and walked. “Bunker-Buster Bombs” Breakthrough Begins Where My Excuses End. While You’re Waiting For God To Come Down, God Is Waiting On You To Get Up. Breakthrough Begins Where You PICK UP YOUR MAT.
MAN UP - Pastor David Rathel, 10.09.16 NEED HIM - The Selection Of The Twelve Mark 3:13-14 NASB “13And He went up on the mountain and summoned those whom He Himself wanted, and they came to Him.” “14And He appointed twelve, so that they would be with Him and that He could send them out to preach...” Luke 6:12 NASB “12It was at this time that He went off to the mountain to pray, and He spent the whole night in prayer to God.” ASK HIM - The Calling Matthew Luke 5:27, 28 NASB “27After that He went out and noticed a tax collector named Levi sitting in the tax booth, and He said to him, "Follow Me." “28And he left everything behind, and got up and began to follow Him.” APPRECIATE HIM - Jesus Called Them Friends John 15:15 GWT “15I don't call you servants anymore, because a servant doesn't know what his master is doing. But I've called you friends because I've made known to you everything that I've heard from my Father.” HOLD HIM ACCOUNTABLE - Molding Peter Entrust Him With Responsibility - Matthew 10:1-2 “1Jesus summoned His twelve disciples and gave them authority over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal every kind of disease and every kind of sickness. 2Now the names of the twelve apostles are these: The first, Simon, who is called Peter, Allow Consequences With Mercy - Matthew 14:30-31 “30...and beginning to sink, he cried out, saying, “Lord, save me!” 31And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and took hold of him…” Confront Him When Wrong - Matthew 16:23 “23But He turned and said to Peter, “Get behind Me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to Me; for you are not setting your mind on God’s interests, but man’s.” GIVE HIM CREDIT - The Faith Of The Centurion Matthew 8:8, 10 NASB “8But the centurion said, “Lord, I am not worthy for You to come under my roof, but just say the word, and my servant will be healed.” “10Now when Jesus heard this, He marveled and said to those who were following, “Truly I say to you, I have not found such great faith with anyone in Israel.”
John 7:1-5 (NASB) And after these things Jesus was walking in Galilee; for He was unwilling to walk in Judea, because the Jews were seeking to kill Him. 2Now the feast of the Jews, the Feast of Booths, was at hand. 3His brothers therefore said to Him, “Depart from here, and go into Judea, that Your disciples also may behold Your works which You are doing. 4“For no one does anything in secret, when he himself seeks to be known publicly. If You do these things, show Yourself to the world.” 5For not even His brothers were believing in Him. “...the words that I have spoken to you are spirit and are life.” John 6:63 Luke 4:16-22 (NKJV) 16So He came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up. And as His custom was, He went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood up to read. 17And He was handed the book of the prophet Isaiah. And when He had opened the book, He found the place where it was written: 18"The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed; 19To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord." 20Then He closed the book, and gave it back to the attendant and sat down. And the eyes of all who were in the synagogue were fixed on Him. 21And He began to say to them, "Today this Scripture is fulfilled in your hearing." 22So all bore witness to Him, and marveled at the gracious words which proceeded out of His mouth. And they said, "Is this not Joseph's son?" The Grace Words Of Jesus: His Grace Not Only Gets You Into The Kingdom, But Allows You To Function As A Child Of The King. What Happened? They Were Being Exposed To The SUPERNATURAL And It Got Reduced To The FAMILIAR.
