“Robin Hood” is a classic tale of a British outlaw in Sherwood Forest who takes from the rich and gives to the poor, and a unique stage play of a group of actors resorting to telling the story of “Robin Hood” begins performances at BYU-Idaho tonight and will play until July 9. The play is described as a play within another play as six actors scramble together to tell the story of Robin Hood to the audience. The play isn't a usual stage play either. Instead of having audience members sit in front of a stage, they sit in a circle around the actors and become part of the play themselves. “It's laced with wonderful humor and quick disguises and witty dialogue. It's not just zoning out in front of a TV or phone, it's seeing something live and being an active part of it,” said Trevor Hill, the director of the play in an interview with BYU-Idaho Radio. The play features six actors who will perform thrilling fight scenes and impressive character switches throughout the show. “We have four actors and two musicians … there is a lot of jumping back and forth,” Hill said. How the actors pull it off is up to you to see. Jelly’s been using JetBrain’s AppCode to get some work done in the last few weeks, and he and Ben go over the overall experience. Together, they discuss some of AppCode’s best features: inspections, the incredible level of customisation it provides, and best of all, Swift refactoring. It wasn’t all happy though, and Jelly also spends some time unloading on Ben about the issues he faced, how he dealt with it, and what JetBrain’s support is like.
