De nieuwe Apple AirPods Pro 3 en Nothing Ear 3 lijken op papier veel op elkaar: beide hebben actieve ruisonderdrukking, een transparantiemodus en compacte oplaaddoosjes. Toch verschillen ze flink in gebruik. De AirPods overtuigen met rijker geluid, langere accuduur en betrouwbare bediening, terwijl de Nothing Ear (3) vooral uitblinken in design en een opvallende extra microfoonfunctie. De Nothing Ear 3 vallen op door hun transparante ontwerp en een Talk-knop in het doosje. Daarmee kun je de ingebouwde microfoon inschakelen voor helderdere gesprekken of spraakmemo’s. In de praktijk is dat minder handig dan het klinkt: de knop wordt snel per ongeluk ingedrukt, en de geluidskwaliteit blijft achter bij concurrenten. De ruisonderdrukking is redelijk, maar de transparantiemodus klinkt onnatuurlijk. De AirPods Pro 3 bouwen verder op een vertrouwd ontwerp, met subtiele maar merkbare verbeteringen. Dankzij nieuwe schuimrubberen oortips sluiten ze beter af, wat de geluidskwaliteit en noise-cancelling ten goede komt. De batterijduur is opgeschroefd naar acht uur, en er is zelfs een hartslagsensor toegevoegd voor sporters – al biedt die in dagelijks gebruik weinig meerwaarde. Met prijzen van 249 euro voor de AirPods Pro 3 en 179 euro voor de Nothing Ear (3) is het verschil duidelijk merkbaar, maar ook hoorbaar. De AirPods klinken voller, hebben betere microfoons en voelen consistenter aan in gebruik. De Nothing Ear 3 blijven een interessant alternatief voor wie een opvallend ontwerp wil, maar wie vooral goed geluid zoekt, vindt dat nog altijd bij Apple. Microsoft heeft zijn AI-assistent Copilot een nieuw gezicht gegeven: Mico. De digitale avatar – een zwevende, kleurveranderende vorm met expressieve gezichtsuitdrukkingen – moet de interactie tussen mens en machine natuurlijker maken. Het is de eerste keer sinds de bekende paperclip Clippy dat Microsoft een virtuele assistent weer een persoonlijkheid meegeeft. Mico reageert in real time op gesprekken door van kleur en vorm te veranderen. De avatar verschijnt wanneer gebruikers de spraakmodus van Copilot inschakelen en krijgt bovendien een ‘leer-modus’, waarin Mico optreedt als tutor bij studiemateriaal. Met de introductie wil Microsoft het praten met de computer toegankelijker maken – en tegelijk een vriendelijker gezicht geven aan zijn snel groeiende AI-ecosysteem. Naast de komst van Mico kondigde Microsoft ook een reeks nieuwe functies aan voor Copilot. De assistent krijgt onder meer een verbeterd geheugen, dat eerdere gesprekken beter onthoudt, en een groepsfunctie waarmee meerdere gebruikers tegelijk met Copilot kunnen werken. De update wordt eerst in de Verenigde Staten uitgerold en komt later naar andere markten. Wer ein Spiel auf xBox veröffentlichen will muss ja immer Series X UND S unterstützen und anscheinend stellt die mangelnde Performance manche Studios vor eine Herausforderung. Lahm wie eine Kartoffel scheint sie zu sein… Den Konsolenkrieg zwischen Playstation und xBox hat Microsoft übrigens auch direkt beendet. Sony hat gewonnen. Das erfüllte im Rahmen einer Pressemitteilung bezüglich des Deals mit Activision… und der kommt gerade ins Stocken. Sky Serien sind schon gut Babylon Berlin geht in die 4. Runde: nicht die Mainstream Serie wie bei Netflix und genau deswegen ist sie so gut. Sky wagt sich mit der Zeit vor dem 2. Weltkrieg und der Wirtschaftskrise an Themen die spannend, bedrückend und zugleich sehr unterhaltsam sind. Auch in Staffel 4! Mehrere Displays an einem MacBook Anschluss Eine nervige Sache an Apple Notebooks: Pro USB-C Anschluss kann man nur ein Display anschließen. Das hat Software Gründe. Envoy has developed fully implanted hearing devices that provide 24/7 hearing assistance without the need for daily recharging of the battery.  With the introduction of over-the-counter hearing aids and the advanced Apple AirPods Pro 2, customer options have been expanded, making it easier to address some forms of hearing loss. Implanted devices eliminate the limitations of external hearing aids and reduce the impact of hearing loss on their daily lives. Brent explains, "Part of the problem in the hearing loss industry has been that it's not well understood. So there has not been a great deal of competition and innovation in the hearing loss world. Most of us have thought about hearing loss and how it's addressed by looking to our grandparents, the elders. Plenty of people joke about our dads or our grandfathers not being able to hear our grandmothers. When I tell people I'm in the hearing industry, the first thing that they say is, I can't hear you. At the end of the day, there are unmet needs in finding solutions for people that are not just the status quo.
