The Hollywood Blonds: E1 - Origin Story: Oct ‘92-Jan ‘93 Original Release Date: January 1, 2020 On this very special episode Mike & JV are presenting the first episode of, The Hollywood Blonds.  On this episode Mike & JV will be covering the “Origin Story” of the Hollywoods Blonds, Stunning Steve & Flyin Brian from October 1992- January 1993. It was at the Aveda Institute in Birmingham that discovered his talent and calling to do hair. He started getting involved with social and saw an amazing opportunity to build an online portfolio that would attract clients and brands to work with him. Alex dedicated photo time for every client and in all that practice he saw a way to also incorporate his love for making beautiful images. Fast forward 6 years and Alex likes to think "I've done a lot". He likes to credit much of his success to putting himself out there and chasing every opportunity. 3 years ago Alex opened his own salon with hopes to bring a safe place to his town for people of all walks of life in my small minded conservative town. Little did Alex know he'd be fighting a pandemic. Even though Alex was scared his business would fail, he fought to see it through. Since Alex started doing hair he's been nominated for a btc oneshot award, been a product tester and educator for an international brand, hired on as an influencer for an amazing new company, worked on countless photo shoots, as well as shows like NY fashion The Blonds, L'Agence, Alexander Wang, Joshua Kane and many more. Applying Jesus to Wellness - Interview with Dr. Seth Lawrence of Life Prescribed In this episode, Amy talks with her personal Physical Therapist, Dr. Seth Lawrence, who has started a mission to ensure people are optimally healthy to enjoy they life they were created to live. We explore the effect pain has on our whole person and simple steps to take to recover from injury and move into living fully and completely as we were created. In Season 3, we are exploring with our guests how people of faith can pursue wellness in all their different parts - mind, body, spirit, and community. We are talking bout mental health, physical health, and the health of our souls and spirits because each has a relationship with the other and can affect for positive or negative. Our guests have experience, wisdom, and expertise to share! About Dr. Lawrence Dr. Seth Lawrence is a Nationally Licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy, Public Speaker, and Life Optimization Coach. When his feet hit the ground in the morning, Seth is thankful for three things; his family, his health, and the opportunity he has that day to help people grow. Seth specializes in the comprehensive rehabilitation and collaborative training of not only the everyday individual but also the elite athlete. He takes an eclectic approach to his therapy that puts emphasis on education. “Knowing why you do what you do is just as important as the act itself.” Seth believes this is the key motivating factor in rehabilitation as well as when trying to achieve next level goals in life, sport, career, family and beyond Seth has an extensive career in health and fitness starting in 1999 as a personal trainer. After receiving his Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology from the University of Houston he went on to earn his Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine in 2008. Since that time Seth has kept his attention on helping individuals and organizations through their health and fitness journey. He opened a CrossFit gym in 2013 where he would not only coach, but provide seminars, videos, motivational speeches, and personal rehabilitation and training on all aspects of health and fitness. Since his primary education, Seth has continued growing his knowledge base to be as efficient as possible in helping people reach their goals. He has since received his certifications in Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization, Dry Needling, CrossFit level one, Endurance, Olympic lifting, and Mobility. In 2019 Seth opened Life Prescribed, a life optimization consulting company where he provides seminars, online coaching and consulting, and interactive presentations that help people grow and maximize their time and energy. In an attempt to further spread his message of positivity and healthy living, he wrote, “Your Life Prescribed”. This book is a guide to life optimization and turning the hassles of life into healthy habits. Seth is an advocate for the Alzheimer's Association hosting many fundraising events such as “A WOD to Remember” in honor of his father Ernie Lawrence who died at the age of 61 from early-onset Alzheimer's disease. He has since participated in annual fund-raising events including “The Walk for the Cure”, and “Blonds vs. Brunettes” flag football games. His drive to spread knowledge about physical health and fitness and how it can positively affect mental health is fueled by the idea that good life decisions and habits can help stave off Alzheimer's disease. Seth has a unique skillset that bridges the gap between health and fitness. He is passionate about people and education. An iconic figure in pro wrestling during the 1980's has died. “Mr. Wonderful” Paul Orndorff was a powerful and athletic force during his prime. He racked up a number of championship reigns across multiple territories...prior to his arrival in the World Wrestling Federation in 1983. He was part of the main event at WrestleMania I...and became a key rival during Hulk Hogan's first reign as WWF Champion. Injuries shortened Orndorff's career. He did wrestle a bit for WCW during the 90's...and later worked backstage. Orndorff's family announced his passing on Monday. Paul Orndorff was 71. (STINGER: WWE) The NXT Championship is on the line tonight. Karrion Kross will defend against Johnny Gargano. Samoa Joe will be the special guest referee. Also tonight, the first match in the NXT Breakout Tournament: Ikeman Jiro vs. Duke Hudson. Also, Sarray vs. Gigi Dolin. A big upset on last night's Raw. Xavier Woods surprised WWE Champion Bobby Lashley with a small package to get the pin in a non-title match. Raw Women's Champ Rhea Ripley won a non-title match over Natalya, finishing her off with the Riptide. Charlotte Flair attacked Ripley's knee after the match. Sheamus pinned Humberto Carrillo with the Brogue Kick to retain the United States Championship. Ricochet beat John Morrison in a Falls Count Anywhere match. Ricochet finished him off with a splash from the top rope through Morrison AND the ladder bridge he was laying on. Ivar pinned one half of the Raw Tag Champs, AJ Styles. The other half of the Viking Raiders wasn't as fortunate. Erik was pinned by Omos in what was the first singles match for Omos on the main roster. Nikki Cross - or Nikki ASH - won a 4-Way over Asuka, Naomi and Alexa Bliss. Eva Maria and...Doudrop were ringside for this. Alexa got in Eva Marie's face at one point. Doudrop sent Alexa over the barricade...and then we found that Alexa had disappeared. Anyway, Nikki got the pin after a rollup on Asuka. Jinder Mahal THOUGHT he had stolen Drew McIntyre's family sword last week. But it turns out, he just had the “rental”. McIntyre took out his revenge on Mahal's motorcycle. It was announced that the Viking Raiders will challenge AJ Styles & Omos for the Raw Tag Team Titles AT Money In The Bank. That match had been announced for next Monday's Raw. Natalya has been added to the women's Money In The Bank ladder match. There's only one open spot left to be announced. (STINGER: AEW) This may sound like a formality, but AEW officially announced the signings of the Varsity Blonds: Brian Pillman Jr. and Griff Garrison on Monday. On last night's AEW Dark: Elevation… The Blonds and Billy & Colten Gunn beat The Acclaimed and Chaos Project. Brain Pillman Jr. pinned Luther with his top rope clothesline. After the match, The Acclaimed made it clear they want a showdown against the Blonds.
