What's flying silently through the night sky, bigger than a football field, and shaped like a cosmic Dorito? You guessed it—triangle UAPs (Unidentified Aerial Phenomena), the VIPs of the UFO world. In this episode, we deep-dive into some of the most iconic sightings—from the eerie stillness of the Hudson Valley and the radar-dodging triangles over Belgium, to the mile-wide V drifting over Phoenix and the unforgettable Stephenville shocker. We explore the theories (aliens or top-secret tech?), share jaw-dropping witness accounts, and even a few stories where someone may or may not have yelled at one from a fishing boat. It's weird, it's wild, and it'll have you looking up a lot more often. So buckle up—just not in a black triangle, because we still don't know where those things are going.

The community is about 25 minutes drive from Stephenville, and the only road to it runs right along by the ocean. Storm surges and coastal erosion have been taking their toll for more than a decade. Provincial government contracts awarded to fix the road since 2022 were valued at 1.9 million dollars, but after a recent storm, Yve LeRoy of Fox Island River posted a video that shows just how bad the road still is. I was born in Muskogee Oklahoma in November 27, 1973. I lived in Guthrie from 1974 to 1990. Moved to South Padre Island in 1990 graduated in the spring of 1992. I was given an academic scholarship to Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Tx. Transferred to Southwest Texas University in 1994. Graduated with a bachelor's in fine Arts. I started a mural business but helped out my friend and his house painting business when I didn't have work. Although I've always painted murals and signs, I've gone through several other supporting jobs such as a restaurant line cook, delivery guy, plastic process line worker, construction worker, cement plant crewman, substitute teacher, art teacher, and mail carrier. Now I've taken over my parents publishing business, Garland Publishing. Most community groups would love to have a few more volunteers like Andrew Hibbitts of Stephenville. He's active in several community organizations, and this year, some of his counterparts and colleagues decided it was time to take notice of all his volunteer work. Chad Decker and his family has built one of the most recognizable BBQ brands in North Texas if not all of Texas. It's a destination restaurant for many visiting the area. The coolest thing about it though is how they built it and where Chad came from. This is a story I love to see because he built a thriving business and is now able to live his dream of roping and ranching. Chad was raised around and involved in ranching and roping his whole life and knowing he wasn't cut out for school he got a job to make a living. Chad soon found out he wasn't cut out for that either and decided to pursue a career that involved horses. Through years of hustle training horses, flagging ropings, working different jobs, and anything he could do to support his family he finally came up with the idea of a BBQ restaurant. There was an obvious need for BBQ in Stephenville because they opened with a BANG (literally) and stayed busy but there was a lot of learning to be had about the business. Through lots of hours Chad and his family learned the business inside and out and have been able to expand and replace theirselves in the business. Chad is now living his dream of raising rope horses and ranching through Hardway Land and Livestock. Look out for their horses and if you're in the area you definitely need to stop at Hard Eight BBQ. We wanna hear from you! Send us a message here :) After an explosive arrival and a series of grassroots hits, Hudson Westbrook is now taking his place among a new generation of country singer-songwriters. Self-taught and proudly rough-around-the-edges, the rising star made his splash debut with “Take It Slow” in 2024 (while still enrolled at Texas Tech) and is now pushing ahead, revitalizing the organic country-rock of the Red Dirt revolution – but refusing to be held down by his roots. Hailing from the small town of Stephenville, Texas, and raised on everything from George Strait to gangsta rap, he began playing guitar in 2020 and wrote his first song after enrolling in college in 2023. "Take It Slow” was one of the first songs Westbrook ever wrote and its edgy vocal charm and warm country-rock buzz made it a bonafide hit. Westbrook followed with the windows-down anthem “Two Way Drive” and the propulsive new single, “5 to 9” – a showcase of the young star's song-crafting growth, on top of his innate skill. “5 to 9” was joined by the narrative stunner “Johnny Walker” and followed by “Dopamine,” which brings out the essence of youthful love and connection juxtaposed with the typical college lifestyle. Hudson's latest single, "House Again," his take on a heartbreak anthem. Intent on taking the Texas country spirit far beyond the state line, non-stop travel to meet concert demand includes headlining dates and a tour supporting honky-tonk hitmakers Midland in late 2024, with more new music and shows on the way.Support the show

Jeremy didn't know what he wanted to do when he got out of school but he did know he wanted to be involved with the horse industry. He took a job where he got to do just that. He was involved in cleaning their stalls, feeding them, and generally caring for them. Through hard work he and willingness to learn he worked his way up to training them. The only problem was he was in Georgia and the heart of performance horse country was TX. Jeremy made the bold choice of quitting his job and loading up and heading for TX. In the Stephenville area he found work assisting other trainers, training horses for clients, and buying and selling his own horses. Jeremy became one of the top cutting horse trainers of the day but knew he wanted to branch out into business. This led to the purchase of Western Bloodstock and the start of Brazos Valley Stallion Station. In the 1980s, Popular Mechanics featured an intriguing cover story that detailed encounters with a colossal black flying wing in California's desert skies. Throughout the decades, similar reports involving massive Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAPs) have continued, which include ongoing sightings of enigmatic black triangles reported across the globe. This week on The Micah Hanks Program, we look at some of history's most famous cases involving encounters with “silent giants” that include massive black triangular UAP, the “mothership” observed by pilot Kenji Terauchi over Alaska in 1986, and an incredible encounter by a military police officer over Johnston Island in the late 1980s. What were these mysterious craft, and could they have any potential links to secretive military technologies that have remained hidden within the world of U.S. black projects? Have you had a UFO/UAP sighting? Please consider reporting your sighting to the UAP Sightings Reporting System, a public resource for information about sightings of aerial phenomena. Little does she know, her life is about to take a tragic turn. That night, Susan opens her door to someone she trusts. The exact details of what happens next remain murky, but what is certain is that it leads to a brutal murder. Susan's failure to show up for work over the next two days raises alarm bells. Her father, growing increasingly anxious, decides to check on her.Upon arriving at Susan's home, he is met with a horrific scene. Susan's lifeless body is discovered, the victim of a violent crime. Susan's family continues to push for answers, and the case remains open, a dark shadow over the community of Stephenville. Unbeknownst to everyone, the real killer has been hiding in plain sight all along. Two decades later, advances in forensic technology provide new hope. A dedicated cold case unit re-examines the evidence, employing techniques that were not available in 1987. DNA analysis brings a breakthrough—linking the crime scene to a previously overlooked suspect.
