"Escribo de forma muy automática, pero necesito que los temas que compongo y toco me emocionen de verdad La Força (Bankrobber, 2016) es un trabajo muy distinto a sus anteriores entregas, por intenciones, estructura y construcción sonora." Un disco con un original sentido de la intensidad, producido por el eficaz Jordi Matas (Seward).Escogí a Jordi porque escucha la música con una sensibilidad enorme. Insistió en la necesidad de darle otro papel a la guitarra, dejando espacio a otros elementos. Siempre he evitado hacer discos demasiado densos, pero en esta ocasión apuesto por la sobriedad. El Petit de Cal Eril siempre le ha prestado una enorme atención al sonido y a la calidad de sus grabaciones para mí es importante trabajar el sonido de una forma especial, cuidar la calidad del audio. Mi público no me escucha con auriculares en el metro. El Petit de Cal Eril actúa este jueves 27 de octubre en Madrid, en el Teatro del Arte.

Cuando nosotros empezamos no pasaba nada en la escena colombiana. En esa época no había instrumentos, ni lugares donde tocar. Ni profesionales alrededor de los músicos, ni nada. Veníamos de otras disciplinas. Ahora los jóvenes tienen donde estudiar y además de tocar saben de producción y están muy preparados. Eso es muy bueno.Hoy nos visitan Andrea Echeverri y Héctor Buitrago, Aterciopelados, que llevan más de veinte años siendo una referencia en la escena colombiana y que, antes de embarcarse en su primer álbum de estudio desde 2008, han decidido repasar algunas de sus más celebradas composiciones en un disco en directo: Reluciente, Rechinante y Aterciopelado (Sony, 2016).Aterciopelados es una de las bandas más comprometidas con algunas causas fundamentales de nuestro tiempo y dan muestra de ello en esta entrevista en Future Beats.Vivimos en una sociedad hipersexualizada y muy superficial, pero al mismo tiempo hay mucha gente luchando por la ecología, la tolerancia o los derechos de las mujeres.
