She explains the whole story behind getting the new puppy and why this is actually the perfect time, even if she has to have a good cry every once in a while.  Kelly's big weekend started with her FINALLY purchasing the Fisher Price dollhouse of her dreams. It cost $500, but it's an investment! This is something she plans on having her grandchildren play with. Then, it was off to another dinner auction! Is Kelly more of a silent or live auction girl? Turns out, she can't really decide.  In Industry News, Volkswagen is releasing its redesigned Atlas and somehow hasn't invited the Car Mom to check it out. How rude! There is a lot of talk right now about influencer Dani Austin sharing her natural birth story on social media. So of course, Kelly and Lizz need to give their take on the whole thing. This leads into a conversation about content creators as a whole and Kelly has a prediction on their future success. Speaking of content creators, the Car Mom went on a very special car shopping trip with one of their favorite content creators. A winter storm isn't going to bring the Car Mom down! Three young boys are killed by a car bomb, their mother Doreen and older brother in the front seat are the only survivors. Detectives Goren and Eames learn Paul Whitlock developed a new kind of land mine and his wife had spotted some threatening-looking Middle Eastern men before the blast.  But there are indications the pipe bomb was built in their garage and someone swept it up. Bobby and Alex suspect the depressed Doreen blew up the car in a murder/suicide attempt.ADA Ron Carver insists the overbearing husband is their best suspect. The detectives find a space heater Doreen tampered with to leak carbon monoxide. The overwhelmed mother confesses she wanted to take the children to heaven with her, where she could be a better parent. But Goren and Eames discover the cold-blooded Whitlock knew Doreen wanted to die and was fine if she did - he just didn't know the children would get hurt. Family parties are much different for Kelly and Lizz post kids. Over the weekend they celebrated the 20th anniversary of the farm with the entire family in one spot and while others celebrated with a lot of alcohol, Kelly and Lizz stayed relatively sober. The good times didn't stop for Kelly as the next day was the sausage dinner at her church. Kelly and Lizz are still trying to get used to the news schedule and not talking about ‘Dancing with the Stars' every week. At least they'll have then highlights to devour on social media. It feels like it's been forever since it was just Kelly and Lizz and they have SO much to talk about… and not talk about. While Lizz has been solo parenting for two weeks (an experience that has changed her as a person), Kelly has been prepping for her birthday. Kelly and Lizz traveled to Detroit to chat with GM CEO Mary Barra. They gave a little preview of the interview as well as talked about the friends they did not make in the car seat lab.  Another massive milestone happened in the Stumpe household as George headed off to school for the very first time. Kelly is so ready to be in her “mom of school kids” era and already planning her truck-or-treat decorations. Speaking of family time, Kelly is ready to introduce her kids to “Shark Boy and Lava Girl” in hopes that they will want to dress as them for Halloween. Is “Spy Kids” next? Side Hustle Summer is BACK and Kelly and Lizz have two great side hustles to inspire you this week. First, it's time to catch up and see what's the latest in the Stumpe and St. John Households. Kelly is on a vacation with the family at the lake that wasn't originally planned, but seemed like a great idea while the pool is getting installed at their home. While there, she is mastering the art of using the fryer. Will a smoker be next? Meanwhile, Lizz is officially out of her home while it gets renovated and it's in a total state of disarray. There's no turning back now!  Then it's time for Side Hustle Summer with two moms that found a way to make money and work with their family's schedule. First, they talk to Kim who started working as an Amazon Flex delivery driver as a way to work while taking care of her adult son with autism. She breaks down exactly how it works and what kind of money she makes. Not all heroes wear capes and our Amazon delivery drivers are definitely heroes!  Next, it's time to bring on Alexis who is the Car Mom's resident cotton candy maven! Another big week for the Car Mom as Kelly is headed off to Dallas for a big event. Lizz's pumping schedule made it too difficult to make the trip herself, but she has some big news of her own. Last week she got emotional talking about the amazing support she received and this week she is sharing a big update. It's a new week and spring is in the air! Well, at least it feels that way for the Car Mom... Before you know it though it will be summer and you have to figure out what to do with your kids while school is out. That is currently the journey Kelly is on as she decides if she wants to send them to daycare or camp. Unfortunately, there is no Camp Phineas and Ferb like the one the ladies ran when they were kids. That's right, Kelly and Lizz ran their own week long summer camp when they were teenagers made them some bank!
