“We've worked with partners like AcelorMittal… and oil and gas refineries. Emissions that would've been destined for the atmosphere are piped into our bioreactor and our magnificent microbes turn that gas into ethanol. When we pull out that ethanol, we can send it a lot of different places. You can go to On, Adidas, Athleta and buy products made by these mighty microbes from steel mill emissions. We actually flew a Virgin Atlantic flight from Orlando to London with 50 percent of the fuel in that plane made from our ethanol.” Zara Summers on Electric Ladies Podcast Addressing the climate crisis involves confronting some enormous challenges, from decarbonizing aviation to reducing fashion's carbon footprint. Fortunately, technology and innovation provide an opportunity to make significant strides forward. Meet LanzaTech, a company turning carbon dioxide into the raw materials and energy we need for our lives. You'll hear about: How LanzaTech transforms captured industrial emissions into valuable materials and fuels. The global brands working with LanzaTech (and how you can spot fabrics made from recycled emissions). How the technology is driving a circular economy in fashion and textiles. The uses of LanzaTech's protein-rich biomass in food and feed. Plus, advice on making a career transition. “Just jump in. Because even if it crashes and burns, it's experience and you learn no matter up and down inside it. But if you keep doing the same thing you've always done, you're robbing yourself of those opportunities. Even small risks – putting your hand up for a project where you might know 20 percent of what it takes to do it. Gosh, isn't that the best way to motivate yourself to learn something new?” Zara Summers on Electric Ladies Podcast Read Joan's Forbes articles here. As a college basketball player, Missy Park was lucky to grow up during the early era of Title IX, the 1972 law that created new opportunities for young women in sports. But in the years before Lululemon and Athleta, activewear for women was either ill-fitting or non-existent. So in 1989—with little experience in apparel or retail—Missy launched a female version of Nike. She sent out a mail-order catalog of running shorts, tights, and (at the last minute) sports bras, naming her company for the law that had opened doors for her to compete. Over the years, Title Nine kept "hitting singles," eventually growing into a $100 million business without ever taking outside investment. Today, Missy remains the sole owner. This episode was produced by J.C. Howard with music composed by Ramtin Arablouei. It's a new week and spring is in the air! Well, at least it feels that way for the Car Mom... Before you know it though it will be summer and you have to figure out what to do with your kids while school is out. That is currently the journey Kelly is on as she decides if she wants to send them to daycare or camp. Unfortunately, there is no Camp Phineas and Ferb like the one the ladies ran when they were kids. That's right, Kelly and Lizz ran their own week long summer camp when they were teenagers made them some bank! Could this be your side hustle this summer? Speaking of things from the Disney universe, neither Kelly or Lizz have ever been to a Disney park but they feel like they could be Disney adults. They're both into the Disney adult content creators and have a love for the High School Musical soundtrack. Maybe one day? Lent starts this week and Kelly and Lizz are getting ready to give something up for the next 40 days. This year not only are they giving something up, but they want to do something to better themselves before Good Friday. But the real best of lent season? The fish fry!! It's been a while since Kelly and Lizz checked in with their bank accounts for Last Three Transactions. Kelly is getting ready for a family trip to Arizona by stocking up on Tea Collection clothes for the kids and lots of activities and toys for the plane. Plus, she got some Crocs for herself and she's very excited about it! Meanwhile, Lizz has had her life completely changed thanks to the Haakaa breast pump and the Athleta pale yellow collection. There are two juicy stories in Industry News. First, Carvana is making moves into the franchise business with the purchase of a Stellantis store. Then, why the Honda and Nissan merger may be donezo! Finally, as we head into Lent a quick reminder of a solid Ditch the Drive-Thru favorite. If fish will be a staple for you the next 40 days, it's time to break out the salmon sushi bowl recipe! When Michelle Wahler and Jodi Guber Brufsky set out to launch a yoga wear brand in 2005, they had no idea that it would eventually be acquired—for hundreds of millions of dollars—by one of the most iconic apparel brands in the world. But it took years for Beyond Yoga to get to that point. It grew slowly by partnering with yoga studios and mom-and-pop boutiques, and apart from some initial seed money, it never took on any outside investment. With an obsessive focus on soft fabrics, inclusive sizing and U.S.-based manufacturing, Beyond Yoga eventually began competing with more established brands like Lululemon and Athleta. And in 2021, the brand was acquired by Levi's for $400 million. This episode was produced by Chris Maccini with music by Ramtin Arablouei. Edited by Neva Grant, with research from Kathryn Sypher. Jenelle Sheridan, a former VP and GM at Athleta, discusses how to analyze a retail company. Jenelle has 15 years of experience in retail and e-commerce, working as a consultant and operating executive. She has experience in pre-revenue startups and larger enterprise businesses, and recently launched her consulting and advisory practice, Far View Partners, which focuses on helping consumer and retail companies unlock growth. Jenelle served on the leadership team at Athleta for almost 10 years, leading strategic growth from a $200 million business to over a billion dollars. She has also held functional roles in marketing, strategy, and business development. Metrics to Measure for Success Jenelle emphasizes the importance of metrics in understanding success and how to look at performance in retail companies. She talks about the importance of evaluating company performance and effectiveness across various stages of maturity. Jenelle emphasizes that success depends on growth metrics like brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth, while profitability is less critical at emerging retailers. For established retailers, operational efficiencies like inventory turns and return on gross margin are critical. The Big Three Metrics for Investors Jenelle states that, regardless of stage of maturity, the big three metrics for investors are same-store sales growth, sales costs, and sales comps. Same-store sales growth measures the change in revenue for stores that have been open for at least a year, helping to isolate organic growth. A strong sales comp metric indicates increasing consumer demand or successful product strategies, while a low or negative rate may signal challenges or market saturation. She explains that best in class sales comps are in the five to seven percent range, the industry average, and discusses the potential consequences of flatlining or decelerating sales comps, such as increased foot traffic, conversion, and basket sizes. Jenelle believes that delivering zero growth is not acceptable for mature brands, as it may not be enough to meet the needs of shareholders and leadership teams. However, if a brand is experiencing flatlining or decelerating sales comps, it is essential to see growth to keep pace with accelerating costs. By focusing on these metrics, retailers can better understand their performance and make informed decisions about their strategies. Underlying Sales Drivers The conversation turns to sales and the underlying drivers such as traffic, conversion rate, and transactions. Stores typically have a lower traffic number, but when traffic decreases, the conversion rate increases due to more intentional buyers. The overall basket size is typically the same, but slightly upticks in the basket size are observed. Jenelle explains that public companies typically report store sales growth on traffic and conversion rate, but some brands and retailers report lower-level metrics, such as average customer spending per year. These metrics are often tied more to the customer rather than the transaction level metric. Gross Margin Metric Gross margin is another key metric in the big three, reflecting the efficiency with which a retailer manages its costs relative to its sales. High-performing companies use pricing power or efficient supply chains to achieve top-tier margins. She offers a few examples from well-known brands. For example, luxury brands can have margins of 60% and above. Jenelle moves on to break down gross margin, average sales per square foot, and how this usually speaks to efficiency. She explains the key factors in achieving this type of sales efficiency, including turning inventory quickly and pricing correctly. A Focus on Inventory Turns Jenelle explains why retailers need to consider inventory turns, which are the frequency of selling and replacing inventory over a period of time. High turnover indicates well-aligned supply and demand management, while low turnover can indicate inefficiencies or excess inventory. For example, Zara has fast-moving inventory. This is industry-specific and category-dependent. For apparel retailers, performing inventory turn analysis by category helps identify fast-moving versus slower-moving items, allowing for more precise management and buying. Fast-moving categories include basics, while slower-turning categories like luxury and formal wear are typically slower-turning. This helps optimize inventory and capital dollars. Customer Metrics and Segmentation Customer metrics are increasingly common for retailers to look at, as they provide an omnichannel view and allow for segmentation based on various customer personas. They can look at new versus existing customers, spend per customer, frequency of purchase, and average price of items within transactions. Jenelle talks about the benefit of looking at the data over a 12-month period and mentions that the goal is to increase spend per customer over time by building the customer's basket based on the breadth of the offering, driving additional visits through frequent product drops or promotions, and pulling levers in a customer-centric way. She mentions that segmenting customers by product category or type of customer can also help drive spending per customer. She offers examples of segmentation and how it can increase customer spend. By looking at data this way, retailers can create tactics to drive spending per customer and improve overall brand health. She explains how Athleta, a women's and girls yoga active brand, uses customer data to understand the percentage of women with girls under 18 in their household. By segmenting data, the brand can identify potential customers who are buying girl products and those who are not yet. By targeting these customers, the brand can develop targeted marketing tactics to encourage them to buy in different divisions or categories. The data can also be used to identify customers who only buy one category and target them in other categories. This data can be used to tailor marketing strategies to specific customers and increase sales. Marketing and Messaging Jenelle talks about the importance of maintaining a balance of communication in marketing efforts. She emphasizes the need for testing and optimizing messaging to ensure it is effective and not cluttering the background and offers a few examples. Jenelle adds that businesses should avoid sending discounts too often, as it can teach customers to wait for discounts. By balancing promotions with overall brand health, businesses can improve profitability and brand reputation. She explains the Net Promoter Score (NPS), how it works, and how it can be used as a measure of customer loyalty and brand advocacy, which is typically gathered through surveys. NPS is calculated by taking the percentage of promoters and detractors, dividing them by the percentage of detractors. This helps track brand health and overall sentiment, helping businesses understand how people perceive their brand and its offerings in the marketplace. She emphasizes the importance of maintaining a balance between optimizing for budget, achieving desired sales, and maintaining brand health. Brand Health Metrics Jenelle explains the importance of brand health metrics, such as discounting addiction and customer feedback. She uses social listening, third-party research, and bespoke consumer research to understand keywords associated with a brand and how they change over time. She also highlights the value of conducting impromptu focus groups with customers to observe and learn from them. Jenelle mentions the practice of going to stores as leaders for new hires to show support and learn from the volume of customers during key moments, and the importance of staying focused on customer metrics, such as brand awareness and customer acquisition, especially for newer brands or entering new markets. She emphasizes the importance of tracking aided and unaided brand awareness over time and by customer segment to gain a better understanding of the overall brand health. Today, the gals welcome Kristy Rasback, the global system safety director at General Motors for an interview you won't want to miss. Kelly is prepping for back to school this week while Lizz just celebrated her two year anniversary with Mattie. In driveways dumps they lay out their dream shopping center: Target (of course), Home Goods, Trader Joe's, a local coffee shop, Athleta or Lululemon, and a sushi restaurant. Kelly warns the Carpool crew that Netflix rom coms suck, so take a leap back into the 1990s and rent The Bodyguard. Next on her list is Rumor Has It and Lizz adds It Ends With Us might be worth the watch, too. Non-GMO, gluten-free, healthy meals are hard to come by when you're out and about as a busy mom. In industry news Kristy Rasback spills all the hot tea going on in the GM world. Kicking off this segment, Kelly shares how she loves when the Traverse seat vibrates to alert her of anything around the car. Kristy says she loves her supercruise and agrees that the intuitive setup with physical buttons is an advantage across the Chevrolet line. Kristy talks semi-autonomous driving advantages with the gals and how the more you use it, the more you can trust it. Kelly says this feature boosts both fun and safety for drivers. Kristy's #1 must-have safety feature surprises Kelly. In her work, Kristy's team figures out all of the things that could go wrong with a safety-critical system in the car, and she's proud of GM's future vision for zero crashes, zero emissions, and zero congestion. "We wake up every day and are devoted to getting ourselves closer." Last, Kristy shares her teen driving highlights and why she loves having her kids in a safe vehicle she can keep tabs on. Ditch the drive-through also comes to us from Kristy and it's an Insta-hit. All you need is stew beef, beef broth, soy sauce, ginger, and brown sugar. Pressure cook your ingredients in the Insta-pot for 15 minutes and add steamed broccoli to serve. Done! Hurdlers! Welcome to season 18! I'm back from Paris and stoked to bring you so many unbelievable conversations I had while at Athleta's Power of She Creator hub. We are kicking off the new season with Natalie Coughlin, 12-time olympic medalist and first female swimmer to bring home 6 medals in a single olympiad. We cover so much in this conversation — of course hitting on all of Natatlie's Olympic experiences but also how she first found the pool, her unwavering positive perspective amidst struggle, and her transition from full time athlete to her next chapter, which may include a winery. IN THIS EPISODE How it feels to be back at the Olympics as a spectator (and her first time at opening ceremonies!) (4:30) Natalie's first memories of getting in the pool (5:40) Goal Setting and how Natalie was able to map out her road to the Olympics at the age of 13 (10:43) The injury that derailed Natalie's first Olympic dreams and how that hurdle was ‘the best thing that happened to her' (16:45) Actionable advice for getting into a positive mindset when going through the thick of it (21:20) How Natalie handled the pressure that came with striving for an Olympic dream and medal (30:40) A reflection on Natalie's historic Beijing Olympics and record 6 medals (39:04) Natalie's current projects and passions (48:50) SOCIAL @natalicoughlin @gaderianwines @emilyabbate @hurdlepodcast OFFERS LMNT | LMNT | Head to drinklmnt.com/hurdle to get a free sample pack with any purchase (including the new LMNT sparkling!) It's baby watch month! It might be time to wash clothes and get baby's things together…but you won't catch Kelly packing her hospital bag until the day she needs to pack it. Lizz will be a little more prepared with Athleta jumpers in tow while Kelly will likely stick to her Lulu Align leggings. In the great eight of salads, Kelly and Lizz's favorites go for gold. Who will bring the medal home? Caesar, Greek, Cobb, Wedge, Caprice, Taco, Italian, or Goat cheese? Kelly was deterred from a shower cap too soon. She's sure it's going to be life changing and Lizz doubts she'll use it. Stay tuned for the 30-day report. Also in driveway dumps, Kelly has one more thing to say about Ballerina Farms—200 years ago, we all would have been trad wives and would have figured it out. Got pregnancy brain? A crazy summer mom schedule? No worries, Rocket Money has got your back. Over 74% of people have subscriptions they've forgotten about. Cancel unused and unwanted subscriptions, keep your spending on track, and put money right back in your pocket with Rocket Money. With over 5 million users, Rocket Money has helped save its members an average of $720 a year with over 500 million in canceled subscriptions. So stop wasting money on things you don't use. → Download the Rocket Money app at rocketmoney.com/carpool A mom of one writes in to ask the gals if she should get rid of her Telluride for a car with more miles that would save her on monthly payments. Kelly isn't sure it's as good of a deal as it sounds. Her number one car shopping tip—even more than choosing your salesperson—is you have to understand what the monthly payment is going to be before you go to the dealership. Use the Car Mom car payment estimator to find your numbers before you shop! Another listener wonders what should be put in her hospital bag and when should the carseat be installed in the car? Kelly and Lizz say be sure to pack your own towels, a heating pad, a cute robe, and toiletries. Oh and don't forget those life-savers to keep you going during an epidural! → Write in your advice questions! Send Kelly and Lizz an email to get your question featured on the show at hello@thecarmomofficial.com In a short and sweet industry news, Kelly reveals how she's feeling about the Traverse—it's lacking power, and that's saying something for her. Throw your next girl dinner in a bowl to ditch the drive-through. All you need is a package of Thai chili tuna, rice, avocado, cucumber, soy sauce, seaweed crisps, and your favorite toppings. Our conversation then takes a deep dive into the world of "zombie brands," those once high-flying companies now struggling under the weight of high customer acquisition costs. With examples spanning Outdoor Voices to Warby Parker, we examine the shifting landscape of the Direct-to-Consumer space. Amidst debates on Disneyland rides and discussions on the economic impact on e-commerce, we spotlight sectors like grocery and beauty that are defying the odds, offering a glimmer of hope in a challenging market. As we navigate the complexities of niche marketing, we uncover the perils brands face when they stray too far from their core audience. Highlighting stories from Madewell and Athleta, we underscore the necessity of authentic, unfiltered content—a shift driven by platforms like TikTok and Snapchat. Wrapping up with insights on balancing immediate sales with long-term brand building, and even a tangent on pronghorn adaptability, we leave you with a comprehensive view on how to make your brand not just survive but thrive. Man told me about how he crocheted as a kid in Cape Verde and Holland. He had nothing to do. No tv. Needed something to entertain himself so he taught himself. Sister knew but couldn't teach him. It wasn't a normal thing for boys in holland. Or girls as far as he knew and they didn't teach it in school but he had fond memories of it. Going to Portland- maybe will look there. Health Update– BostonJensMom begins whole brain radiation on July 1. Every weekday (except July 4) through July 22. Keep those prayers and good vibes coming. We recorded a very long health update video that will go up in 2 parts on the YouTube Channel. It takes a bit of time to edit because I like to add in photos/videos of the fun life stuff we chat about to make it more fun. Keep an eye out for that if you want the full story of my parents car accident and April and everything that's happened since our last recording in February. Health Update Video Part 1 Health Update Video Part 2 On a Happy Note Mom, Megg, Kris and I went to see Come From Away in Boston I helped Dan build a shed for his brother and then relaxed in the pool at my parents once we were done (and good and sweaty). I pressure washed the house and the deck- it's currently covered in pollen but at least I got the worst of it off. It's such a satisfying chore! Mom and I went to Aila's voice recital and out for drinks after. I brought my grandmother to my cousin Jenny's daughter Vera's Baptism Party. Beautiful day! Celebrated my birthday at a local Irish Pub for live Irish music. Dan treated us all for dinner. My parents, Megg, Tom (who is from Ireland) and their friend David (visiting from Ireland), Megg's Mom Terri, Trish and Liz. Very fun, silly night as usual. Megg and I weren't doing gifts this year because of our Opera House season tickets but I made her socks in March and she brought me a beautiful plant! We all went back to Megg and Tom's after which was fun because I got to see Eme, Oisin and Hattie too. The boys made lobster for David who hadn't tried New England Lobster before. After the most stressful and hellish week at work I've had in 22 years, I convinced the directors in charge of my Nurse Call Integration project that it was too unstable and had to be shut down so while it was awful, it was done in little more than 3 days. Thankfully, none of the blame was on me (didn't make it feel that much better). Vendor was woefully unprepared and mismanaged things. On that Friday, my boss told me to leave early. I met up with Dan for lunch at The Galley in Scituate. Sitting in the window/door until a huge storm blew in and they had to close it up. June 11th- my cousin Colleen had her baby boy- Owen (not on my birthday but soo close) June 12th- my nephew Garret graduated from 8th Grade and my Mom (and Dad) were there for it! June 14th- Conor and Carly welcomed their baby boy Miles. I did the stage decorations and played house manager in the last ever Terri's School of Dance recital. We had a party at Kris' house after. Father's Day Pool Party- Dan taught Garret and his friend Terry how to properly shuck a lobster. We played games and swam a little in the pool. My cousin Gayle flew in from FL and joined us for the recital and Father's Day fun. I had Monday off and headed over to Mom and Dad's. Jenny and Vera were there, and Millie never left. We swam, played Tock, and went to Heidi's for an ice cream. On Juneteenth- I hit the gym then took Millie and Riley to get their nails done, then took Gayle to Athleta, swam a bit. Dan, Jeff and Melissa came over and we all had dinner together by the pool. Quote of the Week As soon as I have a deadline, I work much better. PARKER is a mother, wife, Ironman, professional photographer/director and New York Times Bestselling author who shoots both personal projects and commercial work for her clients. It has also inspired Kate to launch a philanthropic arm of SITNP, partnering with organizations such as Girls on the Run, Girl Up, The Arthur Blank Family Foundation, Disney, Glam4Good, and The Bully Project by investing in childrens' health and education. Kate is also the author of Strong is the New Pretty: The Guided Journal, The Heart of a Boy Play Like A Girl and Force of Nature About 'Force of Nature' I first picked up a camera not long after my oldest daughter was born, eighteen years ago. I felt as if something clicked in me (almost literally). I loved making images and sharing stories of what it was like to be young, confident and free. I found my calling and means of expression in celebrating kids, especially girls, authentically. My first book, Strong is the New Pretty, started as a project to encourage my own two girls to know that they are enough just as they are and that being who they are is enough. I've been photographing with that in mind ever since. My hobby soon turned into a passion and then into a career. Yes, it took me until I was in my thirties to find my “thing”, but I am so grateful. This is my fifth book that celebrates the voices and stories of my subjects alongside images of them being themselves. I love helping to amplify their stories, told in their own words. It's the best part of what I do, and it is how I use my voice. Make sure to check out the Dtalkspodcast.com website! Thanks to Empire Toys for this episode of the podcast! Kate Parker is a mother, wife, former NCAA D1 athlete, Ironman, TEDx speaker, professional photographer and New York Times bestselling author whose first book “Strong is the New Pretty” garnered support from the Spice Girls, David Beckham, Drew Barrymore, Kate Winslet, Nicole Kidman and Emma Watson. Her work has been featured in several major magazines and her clients include REI, Verizon, Athleta and American Express. Growing up, she was known for being loud, driven and perfectionistic which might be associated with “being strong” but typically not “pretty.” Like many female athletes, as she became more competitive in her sport, she started emphasizing being skinnier. However, a coach helped her reframe her body image and in turn her internal view of strength and beauty. As a mother and photographer, she uses her critical eye to point out perception vs reality while capturing powerful emotions to help us realize that exuberance needs no apology. In her newest book, “Force of Nature” she shows us why “too much” is actually the right amount. @katetparker, katetparker.com

"I felt like I was constantly treading water and barely staying afloat. It felt like I was stuck, as everything else just raged on. Time doesn't stop and the world doesn't stop. Everything doesn't stop just because you're having a hard time. There were days where I'd be at the grocery store, standing in line, and I wanted to scream, 'Don't you all know that I have cancer? Don't you know this is the hardest day of my life, and it's a normal day in your life?' It's the ultimate reminder that you never know what someone's going through. So be kind." At long last: the big, long, TMI-filled cancer episode. After being diagnosed with breast cancer earlier this year, I've wanted to do regular check-ins on the podcast, but it's been a little daunting. One day last week, I finally felt up for chatting a bit. So in this episode, I'm talking about what life has looked like on the health front over the past seven months. I walk through my timeline from first lump (April 27) to mammogram and ultrasound (May 12) to biopsy (May 16) to diagnosis (May 19), followed by surgeries (double mastectomy July 3, reconstruction surgery August 30), chemotherapy (September 26, October 17, November 7, and November 27), and "now what?" Plus, answering listener questions and offering thoughts on how to support a loved one going through a cancer diagnosis and treatment. SPONSOR: New Balance. “It's not just about the people, but also the systems and processes in place. When art and science come together, magic happens.” -Dan Cockerell Leadership and culture are the driving forces when it comes to creating exceptional customer experiences. Smart organizations know the value of a well-designed plan for their business. They can't just open shop without a clear vision. It requires a savvy combination of the art and science of customer service. Two great examples of well-designed customer service experiences are Athleta and Banana Republic. They've trained their employees to go the extra mile, offering options like checking other stores' inventory for your desired size. It's all part of a well thought out process in their customer experience plan. No matter how great of a plan you come up with, consistency is key. It's not just about hiring good people, but about creating a culture where everyone delivers exceptional customer service. For example, when you walk into Athleta or Banana Republic, you know you'll receive top-notch service, no matter who's working. Everyone is trained so that customers get a predictable experience. Culture plays a vital role in customer service. It's about how things are done around here. As a leader, you set the tone for your organization. Define the experience you want to create, plan it out, and make sure it's consistently delivered. Ask yourself: What is the service experience that you want to create? How are you going to communicate it to your employees? How are you going to create checklists and processes to make sure It is done over and over and over again? Whether you're a business owner, a department manager, or even an HR representative, think about the service experience you want to offer. Remember, customer service is both an art and a science. Plan it, communicate it, and create processes to ensure it's executed flawlessly. Your customers will thank you through their loyalty. The Stumpe family vacation planning is in the works, and Chris (mom) is doing the most. Craig's (dad's) birthday agenda is full of morning coffee talk, breakfast, pilates practice, nap gaps, and a dress-up-like dad extravaganza. Follow Kelly and Lizz on Instagram for the hilarious highlights! Today's millennial word of the day is ‘core' which defines an aesthetic or vibe such as Barbie core, cottage core, Car Mom core, or Craig core. Kelly will be thriving and not just surviving family vacation travel with the kids. Her last transaction was an Amazon shop for road trip activities planned out with coordinated toys that you can find on her storefront list here. Lizz is shopping at Athleta and Lulu for new shorts and tops that actually fit and hit Carters for a new pair of PJs for baby James. Kelly bought the pickle flavored Spritz for a future taste test and Lizz is in love with her new Divvy shampoo and conditioner. We're all just a little icky— and that's okay. Today's listener icks include adults calling each other mama, moms saying things like ‘I've got four under four' as if it's a contest for who has the harder life, singing happy birthday to adults (unanimously icky), and clipping your nails at work. In industry news, the 2025 Toyota Land Cruiser is returning to America smaller and resembling the 2024 Lexus GX. Elon is giving Kanye with his move to rename Twitter ‘X.' Barbie might be making headlines but today's episode is hosted by Brats girlie Kelly and the show's first non-husband guest co-host, Polly Pocket girlie Ashley. This duo has been transacting, wardrobe purging, making the most of mom life — and they're ready to share all. Attention Buick SUV mamas! Sound off in your Carpool Podcast reviews this week and let us know what you loved about today's co-host while you're there! Ashley brings today's millennial word of the day from her social scrolling: feminine era. This is when you're in an LTR and have someone to help you do the heavy lifting. Ashley has been putting together the most darling mom-fits over on @realactuallyashley and Kelly is a stan. Biker shorts and a dress? Say less. The gals rave about buying the proper size clothes to create more comfort and grabbing a girlfriend to clean your closets out together. Gym, shower, makeup, ‘get ready with me' on IG stories, hair, and outfit kick off most of Ashley's days, but even as a makeup artist, she isn't judging anyone who doesn't put a full face of makeup on every morning. She's simply here to champion every woman doing what she needs to have a better day and wholeheartedly believes you should let your clothes make your body look better instead of making your body look better to fit into your clothes.
