Che, poco meno di un anno fa, mi hanno davvero cortesemente aperto le porte di quelle gallerie, e soprattutto le "braccia" di una disponibilità davvero tanto competente quanto piacevole, per raccontare un po' di questo architetto pittore, surrealista o forse, come diceva lui, appassionato di irrealismo reale. Vissuto tra il il 1913 ed il 1993, nato a Milano, trasferito a Roma da bambino e sempre rimastovi - senza però assumerne l'intercalare, ci avverte Marco Fabio Apolloni - Fabrizio Clerici offre a chi ha la fortuna di starlo a guardare la sua concretissima e lucida visione da dietro un sottilissimo velo, quello di un pensiero profondo e sensibile, appena nascosto da una di quelle maschere di sapore settecentesco che amava indossare.
