Friends of the Rosary,At that time, as we read today (John 6:30-35), the crowd asked Christ Jesus to give them the bread of life from Heaven. And the Lord said to them:“I am the bread of life;Whoever comes to me will never hunger, and whoever believes in me will never thirst.”Also today, the Chruch commemorates St. Peter Nolasco (1182-1258), a French saint who, after participating in the Crusades against the Albigensians, used his inheritance to free Christian prisoners held by the Moors. One night, while Peter Nolasco was praying, the Blessed Virgin appeared and told him to establish a religious order to deliver Christians held in bondage. Together with St. Raymond of Penafort and James I, King of Aragon, he founded the Order of Our Lady of Mercy (Mercedarians) for the ransoming of Christians. A total of 890 Christians would regain their liberty.Ave Maria!Jesus, I Trust In You!Come, Holy Spirit, come!To Jesus through Mary! Here I am, Lord; I come to do your will. By Jorge de Campos - God's plan of salvation that all mankind, Jews and gentiles, could become sons of God, was revealed through God's Holy Spirit to the Chruch and was preached to the gentiles by Paul. This mystery had been hidden, even from angels. The "eternal purpose" of God is through faith and is rooted and

With Silme saved and the Wicker Man left smoldering in their wake, the party presses on, their path leading them to the crumbling ruins of a once-magnificent castle. The skeletal remains of towering spires and broken battlements loom in the distance, whispering of long-forgotten battles and lost kings. But as they step through the shattered gates, the air grows thick with an unnatural stillness.Inside, the chapel walls hold suits of armor that should have long rusted away, yet stand pristine. The pews are untouched by time, their wood polished to a near-glowing sheen. But what halts them in their tracks is not the eerie preservation of the castle's remnants—it's the altar at the heart of the chapel. There, bathed in the dim light filtering through stained glass, stands a statue of an otherworldly figure—tall, eyeless, its maw lined with sharp teeth, a dark hood masking the rest. Recognition sends a shiver down their spines. This is no mere effigy; this is the entity that sealed a bargain in the dead of night. And it has been waiting for them.
In Proverbs 26 the illustration is clear. When someone sets a trap to wrongful harm a person, they themselves will likely fall prey to their own trap. Easy enough.. However I would add that this type of “trap setting” is the very plan BIBLICAL idea to the sin of hate is manifested. When one finds a hate stirring up in their heart for another person, ideas of vengeance, revenge, or some type of harm causing comes to one's mind. However the scriptures are VERY CLEAR that any type of vengeance for even the harshest of crimes (such as murder) is left for the LORD to administrate. Thus, hatred in an action to plan and execute a way to “get back” at someone for treating you wrong. Help fund the podcast: Patreon Listen to other podcasts produced by Generation Mars Media

236 – If the Apostle Paul wrote a letter to your church, what would he say?First, imagine if you had lived back in the days of the early Christian Church. Paul may have come to your church to preach. And you may have received a letter from him later with some helpful ideas, prayers, and reminders of what he told you when he was there.Of course, he might also rebuke you for a couple of things your church was doing that wasn't faithful to Christ. Now, think of your church today. What would Paul say to your church? In this week's episode, I create an imaginary church in Franklin, Tennessee in the United States. I talk about some of it's strengths and some of its challenges, in particular, a couple of members who are real sticklers for the letter of the law. Legalism is keeping this church from growing.I write a letter to this church, in the style of Paul, just to give an idea of what he might have said. All this is to get you to think about what Paul would have said to your church.Do you want your church to grow? Here's a prayer project for you and your whole church. Please choose one of Paul's letters to a church and read it as if he had written it to your church. What can you learn about how to follow Jesus collectively as a church from this? Please contact me to let me know what you discover in this process.Show notes:For a full transcript of this episode and all Bible quotes referred to, go to thebiblespeakstoyou.com/236.Previous episode mentioned:235: How to Be Filled with the Fullness of GodSupport the show_________________________James Early, the Jesus Mindset Coach, is a Bible teacher, speaker, and podcaster. Now, ESPN introduces a new podcast – Through the Flames: Reggie's Church – which focuses on one unfortunate in White's life – the mysterious 1996 burning of his church in Knoxville, Tennessee. In the midst of a rash of mid-1990s church burnings across the United States, White's Inner City Church boasts a growing interracial congregation, and after the building is firebombed and reduced to ashes, White believes the attack is the work of racists. The NFL legend and pastor uses his platform to maintain public pressure on the investigation, even as the sensitive nature of the crime causes government officials to tread carefully. As the story unfolds, questions are raised about the church's financial status, along with the possibility of arson. The podcast brings the story to life through the voices of those involved with the church and the investigation – and in the process, draws a powerful parallel between these ugly incidents and the deeper challenges the nation still faces. ""Many of you are now passing through physical, mental, and emotional trials that could cause you to cry out, 'When I've tried all my life to be good, why has this happened to me?' Now I wish to encourage those who in the midst of hard trials who feel their faith may be fading under the onslaught of troubles. There seems to me no better answer to the question of why trials come, and what we are to do, than the words of the Lord Himself, who passed through trials for us more terrible than we can imagine. You may have seen the need for that foundation as I have, at the bedside of someone ready to give up the fight to endure to the end. If the foundation of faith is not embedded in our hearts, the power to endure will crumble. [Mother yelling to her son] Moroni, the son of Mormon in the Book of Mormon told us how. He teaches the simple and sweet truth that acting on even a twig of faith allows God to grow it. That particle of faith --most precious-- which you should protect, and use to whatever extent you can, is faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. You and I have faith, that the way to rise through and above trials, is to believe that there is a Balm in Gilead, and that the Lord has promised, 'I will not forsake thee. 'Curing does not come automatically through the passage of time, but it does take time. Getting older does not do it alone, it is serving God and others persistently with full heart and soul that turns testimony of truth into unbreakable spiritual strength. If we have faith in Jesus Christ, the hardest, as well as the easiest of times in life can be a blessing. In all conditions all we can choose the right with the guidance of the spirit. We have the gospel of Jesus Christ shape and guide our lives if we choose it. We never need to feel that we are alone or unloved in the Lord's service because we never are. We can feel the love of God. The Savior has promised angels are on our left and on our right to bear us up, and He always keeps His word. His love is unfailing I so testify, in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.""
