Reposted from Wax Episodic, which you can find at: https://podcastica.com/podcast/wax-episodic — An angsty episode this week as the Innies have a funeral for Irving and wrestle with the complications of recent events, and Milchick suffers the indignity of the dreaded performance review. It's kind of like a chat forum, our own little private Podcastica space to talk about Severance, Pluribus, Fallout, Welcome to Derry, Alien: Earth, and whatever else we want. It's free, and it's fun. Invitation link: https://discord.gg/6WUMt3m3qe Other shows we cover on this podcast: We cover these other intelligent, engaging, oftentimes delightfully twisted shows: Fallout (Amazon): A crazy retro-futuristic post-apocalyptic melange of wholesomeness and depravity. One of the best looking shows on TV, funny as hell, violent AF (but in a cartoony way), and with a great cast, including Ella Purnell (Yellowjackets) and Walton Goggins (The White Lotus, The Righteous Gemstones). Not to be missed! Hosted by Jason, Kara, and Kasi. Pluribus (Apple TV): Everyone is transformed into a pleasant hive mind — except for Carol (Rhea Seehorn), the most miserable woman on the planet, who must save the world from happiness. It's sounds weird, and it is… in the best way. Created by the great Vince Gilligan, of Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul. Hosted by Jason and Karen! IT: Welcome to Derry (HBO): A fun, scary, and surprisingly great prequel to the 2016 and 2019 IT movies, Pennywise stalks the children of 1962 Derry. A mix of heart, mystery, charm, and some shockingly disturbing Nightmare on Elme Street-esque horror. Cohosted by Shawn of Strange Indeed. Alien: Earth (FX): From the brilliant Noah Hawley (Fargo, Legion), this one really scratches that sci-fi itch. A greedy corporate tech overlord transfers the consciousness of a group of terminally ill children into highly performant synth bodies. And the Xenomorph is in it, too. Also, Tim Olyphant! Hosted by Jason, Kara, and Randy. Check out other podcasts on our network at podcastica.com. Digging our podcast? In this week's episode, the last of Season 6, Patrick and Greg pull back the curtain and reveal how the Quantitude sausage is actually made. Their motivation is to share their own joys and challenges in making a podcast in the hope that others might consider doing this themselves, whether it be for simple self-satisfaction or for using it as a free speech platform in a time when other avenues of communication are feeling increasingly compromised. Along the way they also discuss baring your soul, being 20 minutes away, losing money, Guglielmo Marconi, palak paneer, Taylor Swift, Machiavelli's bad rap, Quincy Jones, hostage negotiations, two blind squirrels, our Innies, for love of the game, Jiffy (in moderation), Blood Meridian, and Edmund Burke.Stay in contact with Quantitude! It's just Kevin and Lauren this week and they cover Idina Menzel's new broadway show, Redwood, the "horror" film, Presence, Nicole Kidman's Holland, and the Netflix/AMC animated series Pantheon. The show kicks off with Lauren reviewing Idina Menzel's return to Broadway with Redwood. It's a spin on the story of a woman who protested logging by living in a redwood tree for over 700 days. While taking some of those themes, this is really the story of a woman dealing with the loss of her son and finding herself. While boasting a small cast of 5 and no truye standout songs, it's still a solid show with a beautiful set and, of course, Idina Menzel. After a quick discussion about Wicked, Kevin takes over and talks about the film Presence, which is available for rent or purchase on digital as of right now. It's a haunted house story from the perspective of the haunting entity. Rather then being a horror film (despite being billed as one), it's the tale of a family in turmoil and the secrets they keep from each other. It's not a must watch, but if you see it available on a streaming platform soon, it's worth checking out. As the show spirals, it goes back to Lauren to discuss the latest less than stellar outing from Nicole Kidman, Holland. It's a relatively unexciting take on a murder mystery that is far less steamy than it's trailers would have you believe. In the end, it's just a story with a couple of almost interesting twists that make it serviceable. Kevin closes the show with the animated series, Presence, on Netflix. It has a similar plot device to Severance where people are separated from themselves, in this case by having their minds digitally uploaded to a companies server. the problem is, they become trapped there. So much like the Innies in Severance, the trapped folks begin to fight their way out. The story is told from the point of view of two teenagers. One is the daughter of one of these Uploaded Intelligences and the other is the subject of a different type of experiment that plays out over time. So far it's a solid series and worth checking out if you're missing that Severance high. As always, thank you for watching. If you haven't already, don't forget to Like & Subscribe. We love new viewers! Also, leave us comments and let is know how we are doing and what we can be doing better. Enjoy the episode and have a great week! Severance has given us one of the most nuanced examinations of identity, consciousness, and labor rights in recent television. The Ghouls dissect Severance Season 2's brilliant dual commentary: the fight for innie personhood alongside corporate America's modern "Sunken Place" for Black professionals. From Helly's rebellion to Milchick's blackface paintings, Apple TV's workplace thriller mirrors our reality of eroding worker rights, modern company towns, and the dehumanizing effects of capitalism. "Did you think just because you gave us half a life, we wouldn't fight for it?"

Sinners, Reacher, Invincible and Severance. We are doing our best to keep ahead of all the amazing TV releases out there at the moment, and seemingly we're failing pretty miserably occasionally. So in an effort to make up ground, we are doing two TV roundups of what's hot on the box. This week is Reacher Season 3, Invincible Season 3 and the second huge season of Severance. But as we had to move the show to accomodate a screening, we have also included a special bonus review of the film we saw; Sinners - The new film from Ryan Coogler, starring Michael b Jordan, Hailee Steinfeld and many many more. Dion, Jill and Quinny are the ones getting square eyes this week, so we hope you appreciate the many hours they have spent in front of the TV (and movie screen) for you... Sinners Synopsis: Trying to leave their troubled lives behind, twin brothers return to their hometown to start again, only to discover that an even greater evil is waiting to welcome them back. https://youtu.be/EQ-jtaIIjJk A huge thank you to all our Innies, Outies and Super hero man mountains who listen (perhaps) to each episode of the show, especially those of you Bootleggers who join in on the live-chat during the Twitch stream this week (and every week!). In this engaging conversation, Simon Scott and Jordan James explore various themes including neurotypical interactions, the transition to full-time podcasting and the thought-provoking show 'Severance'. They delve into the concept of 'innies' and 'outies' as a metaphor for the duality of self in the context of neurodivergence. They discuss the impact of past experiences on character building, the struggles of commuting and travel, and the weight of everyday responsibilities we wish our 'Innies' could do for us.This weeks Hot Topic covers Actor and Last of Us Star Bella Ramsey being diagnosed as Autistic after a neuro-affirming crew member spotted the signs: https://www.the-independent.com/life-style/bella-ramsey-autistic-signs-the-last-of-us-b2723641.htmlSUPPORT OUR SPONSERS:Work with Ashley Bentley at Integrative Coaching, Breathwork & Hypnotherapy to break free from old patterns and start living with more clarity, confidence, and connection - https://bit.ly/ashleyndeGet an Autism and ADHD assessment in the UK with https://www.rtnmentalhealthsolutions.com/ Use the Discount Code RTN23 when you make your initial enquiry through the RTN website or the website portal.Support the show with our merch! Send us a textIn this episode of Brewstilled, I'm recapping the season 2 finale of Apple TV's Severance. For the season 2 finale of Apple TV's Severance we got a mind blowing, emotional, and excellent finale that contained a cliffhanger ending that tops the one from season 1. The finale also left us with several lingering questions that should pave the way for an excellent season 3. We saw the Innies and Outties meet via unusual circumstances, revelations at Lumon and the completion of the Cold Harbor project. This was definitely a deep episode that was a fitting finale for Apple TV's Severance season 2 finale. I'll be recapping the episode here on Brewstilled with a Red Ale from Stormbreaker Brewing as the beer pairing.

Frank is rejected by a former co-host, but would he accept Delta's offer for plane crash victims? It looks like the Premier League title race is all but over following Arsenal's latest slip-up and Liverpool's win over Manchester City, but Eddie thinks that Guardiola and and City could bounce back next season. Plus, the 4 Nations Face-Off delivered drama and entertainment as tensions are high between USA and Canada, but can ice hockey build on the attention? And Severance Season 2 finally got going, but what can we learn from the ethical questions that Innies and Outies face in their relationships and love lives.
Severance and Skeleton Crew This week we are dipping our toes into a strange and disquieting corner of psychological sci-fi and then going on a child-friendly jaunt through inner and outer space! Most people don't see Severance as particularly child-friendly, but it's all in how you read it. And Skeleton Crew may not feel like a psychological exploration of the self, the Id, and reality through the lense of dystopian corporate misery... but that's only coz you're not digging deep enough! The "Innies" of Dion and Peter are teamed up with the Space Pirates of Quinny and Jill on this very confusing rollercoaster of confusion. Enjoy! Synopsis “Skeleton Crew” follows the journey of four kids who make a mysterious discovery on their seemingly safe home planet, then get lost in a strange and dangerous galaxy, crossing paths with the likes of Jod Na Nawood, the mysterious character played by Law. https://youtu.be/VpLELtF8PUc A huge thank you to all our Innies, Outies and space pirates who listen (perhaps) to each episode of the show, especially those of you Outies who join in on the live-chat during the Twitch stream this week (and every week!). For this week's episode, come sit round the kitchen table and listen to the Dynamic Duo's infamous story of the Meat Tray. An insightful tale from their college years, and a poignant moment in Kat & Harold's relationship that set the foundation of their differences. Kat, very much the ADHD extrovert, goes on to share her passion for Explentures: a creative mixture of Exploring & Adventure, which are essentially those days when she takes Harold out of the house for some fresh air. Harold, on the other hand and very much the introvert, shares his passion for not talking to other people. It's another spinning tale that ends up in a tailspin of hilarity and honesty. Enjoy!
Are you an innie or an outie? We're not talking bellybuttons here; we are talking about how you deal with clutter. Innies tend to "file," while outies tend to "pile." I am naturally an outie, so I tend to pile, and that led to some disorganization challenges that took me quite a bit of time to finally overcome. After 30 years in women's ministry, I know that home organization is a topic that many of us struggle with. So in this episode, I asked my friend, Crystal, to join me for a conversation about organizing. Crystal Larkin is the owner of Crystal Clear Professional Organizing and former Director of Speakers for Hearts at Home.Join me as Crystal shares:The obstacles that prevent us from clearing clutterStrategies to C.L.E.A.R. clutterThe importance of decluttering before you organizeAnd more!I'm so excited to dive into this topic with her today!Show Notes: https://jillsavage.org/crystal-larkin-139
It's time to talk Severance. Wait, what? Is Robbie offering a severance package for Art and Jay? Oh right - it's the AppleTV+ show, Severance, that Jay finally got around to watching. Whew. The Guys dissect this AppleTV+ original series about life-work balance (they really need some), or more accurately: life-work separation. But don't worry, they're not severing from the podcast…or are they? Only the Innies of a Certain Age know what was really discussed. In Geeks of the Week, it's Robbie this time announcing a new-ish musical of avenger-ical proportions, as Jay shares a little-known (to him, anyway) factoid about the theme music from Indiana Jones. Art and Jay both bring sad news about the passing of two film stars, one beauty and one who played a creature only a mother could love. Listen at home or at work, it doesn't matter - you won't remember it.
Chris, Mark, and Nathan cover a literal smorgasbord of topics ranging from popular entertainment and the back and forth influence it has over the attitudes and opinions of the masses, racist white S. African expats, and the murder committed by the Memphis PD.
LADYLIKE - Die Podcast-Show: Der Talk über Sex, Liebe & Erotik
Episode 94: “Innies and Outies” Inspired in equal measure by last week's launch of the Artemis I rocket to the Moon and the approaching Thanksgiving holiday in America, JDK discusses the connections we have between exploring outer space(s) and our inner spaces of spirit, emotion, and intuition. What emerges is yet more exploration and discovery that can - if we choose - improve our own inner landscapes and then transform outer ones.
