North Carolina and Kentucky each need to make a statement on Saturday. The problem is that only one can win. These teams parallel each other in several ways – elite offenses, good, not great (currently) defenses. Both are working to figure out identity with new comers in the mix. For North Carolina it's Harrison Ingram, Cormac Ryan, Elliot Cadeau and more trying to intermingle and figure out their sweet spot as a team. North Carolina leads the all-time series, but the Cats have won two of the last three. Will we see anything as epic as Luke Maye's shot? Will Carolina utilize their experience to their advantage?Locked On Tar Heels Discord: https://discord.gg/DGhGSEPP2dFollow & Subscribe on all Podcast platforms…

This game will feature two elite offenses, spear-headed by the respective backcourts going to work. Can RJ Davis, Elliot Cadeau, Cormac Ryan, Harrison Ingram, and Seth Trimble help control the tempo?

The Tar Heels secured a huge victory on Wednesday night when they took down the Duke Blue Devils in Cameron Indoor Stadium. UNC was led by its senior duo of Luke Maye and Cameron Johnson, both of whom were seemingly able to score at will inside the paint against a Duke squad that had no answer for them. Aside from being an incredibly important win over a hated rival, UNC also improved its resume for the upcoming NCAA Tournament, as the Heels now boast arguably the two best victories of any team in college basketball – Gonzaga and now the Blue Devils. Carolina gets little respite from Wednesday’s emotional win though, as the sixteenth-ranked Florida State Seminoles travel to Chapel Hill on Saturday with their eyes set on securing their own upset win. Inside Carolina contributor Sean Moran joins host Jon Seiglie to review the victory over Duke, preview the upcoming matchup against the Seminoles, and to also discuss the recent announcement that five-star forward Precious Achiuwa will be officially visiting UNC on March 9th. As long as the final score is to your advantage, you take the win. That doesn't mean you have to be happy with the outcome. Players and coaches should never be satisfied with yesterday's performance. In some cases this past week, specifically in ACC basketball there is plenty of room to be happy, for others, not so much. There will likely be a few restless nights this week as not only players and coaches but fans replay some haunting moments from this week's games. On this week's episode of ACC Nation Podcast (Episode #151), Xayveon and Jim will slather some of that basketball ugly in between two slices of whole wheat bread. They'll toss in a slice of tomato to keep it interesting and then invite you to take a big bite along with them. In some cases, it's not so tasty. First things first though as we check out sports from across ACC Nation. Find out who's on top of the conference in wrestling and indoor track and field this week in the rundown. There's a battle going on in gymnastics and it involves three schools from the ACC. Find out what teams from the conference are ranked in collegiate ice hockey. New preseason polls are coming out soon for beach volleyball, rowing and golf. We'll have all three and hopefully, we'll drop fewer puns. Take The Win Check out the stories we have on men's and women's preseason lacrosse plus the All ACC teams. Who are the top teams in men's and women's tennis from the conference? We'll have the individual rankings from the ITA this week as well. Be sure to check out Jim's interview with Michael Kyllo-Kittleson, Editor at Fastpitch News this week about what to expect in college softball this season. It's a close-up look at the conference and more in a special episode of ACC Nation Podcast. What's for dessert in ACC basketball? Louisville serves up an upset of UConn. Can't get much tastier. Find out what players were the keys to winning. Enjoy this week's episode and be sure to subscribe to have each podcast sent you automatically. It is time. Jared Mintz has returned from his long sabbatical of doing whatever in the heck it is that he does, and he has triumphantly returned to the Relatively Speaking Podcast. A lot going on in the world of sports the last few days. This episode of your favorite podcast opens with a discussion involving Joseph's newly found fame. Jared thinks his lifelong quest of receiving a date from Christina Ricci isn't a realistic option, but Jessica Alba is in arm's reach. The Final Four begins on Saturday. The Relatively Speaking Podcast breaks the event down like no other audio preview in the world can do. That Don't Look Good rears its abominable head for some Luke Maye fun. A certain college basketball expert believes a kid averaging under 14 minutes per game is the fifth best player in the Final Four. Jared and Joseph politely point out that he's not a top 20 player left in the Big Dance, and isn't even the fifth best player on his own team. The co-hosts finally discuss the NBA MVP race. James Harden and Russell Westbrook appear to be the front-runners. Listen to find out how the dastardly duo split some hairs. Finally, one of the best AMA segments in the history of the podcast ends the show. King Kong vs The Hulk; Joseph's high school mistake; Jared choosing hoops over a woman; mild takes on Boston; Jared calling out Joseph's usage of a word while the latter points out some key hurtful analytics to the former... kids, the AMA was a bloodbath of fun and torture and giggles.

Wow! Our Tar Heels are headed to Phoenix! Back to the Final Four for some redemption and to bring home something they didn't last year! That's right since last week's podcast UNC took care of the Butler Bulldogs and then had another epic matchup with the Kentucky Wildcats. This time, however, they came out on top thanks to a buzzer beater by none other than Luke Maye on a play similar to what Villanova used to beat us for the championship last year! Of course, I talk about the Butler game, a little, then move on to what many think was the championship game against UK. After that, I look ahead to the Final Four game against the Oregon Ducks. In a podcast later this week I will take a look at the Final Four as a whole and try to predict what will happen from here on out. Subscribe so you don't miss out!
