(Group Learning Program) - Guided Breathing Mindfulness Meditation and Student QuestionsBreathing Mindfulness Meditation was the primary form of meditation employed by The Buddha to attain Enlightenment. There are many aspects of The Path to Enlightenment that one would need to learn and practice with guidance from a Teacher, however, Breathing Mindfulness Meditation should be among the top priorities for any Practitioner aspiring to attain Enlightenment. The goal of Breathing Mindfulness Meditation is to develop “Right Mindfulness”, “Right Concentration”, and to eliminate the unwholesome root of craving/desire/attachment.All discontentedness is caused by craving/desire/attachment so it is important to train the mind to not have craving/desire/attachment as part of "Developing Your Life Practice”.In this Podcast, David will guide you in a Breathing Mindfulness Meditation session and will accept questions from Students to help you develop your meditation practice and progress forward on The Path to Enlightenment.——-Daily Wisdom - Walking The Path with The BuddhaDedicated to the education of Gotama Buddha's Teachings to attain Enlightenment.https://www.BuddhaDailyWisdom.com(See our website for online learning, courses, and retreats.)Group Learning Program - LIVE Interactive Online Classes, Book, Audiobook, Videos, Podcast and Personal Guidancehttps://bit.ly/GroupLearningProgram|The Words of The Buddha - Pali Canon in English Study Grouphttps://bit.ly/PaliCanonStudyGroupFREE Book - Developing a Life Practice: The Path That Leads to Enlightenmenthttps://www.buddhadailywisdom.com/freebuddhabooksFacebook: https://bit.ly/DailyWisdom-FacebookYouTube: https://bit.ly/DailyWisdom-YoutubePodcast: https://bit.ly/DailyWisdom-PodcastSupport our efforts to share The Teachings of Gotama Buddha with you and worldwide for all people using this link.https://www.buddhadailywisdom.com/supportbuddha#buddhism #learnbuddhism #buddhismclass #buddhismcourse #enlightenment #awakening #dhamma #dharma #buddha #meditation #meditationretreat #meditationcourse #meditationclass
Karyn's spiritual journey was documented in her book Findings from the Hunting Party's Scout, which chronicles her four most intense years of spiritual growth as an ordinary working soccer mom into an embodied awakened faith leader. After a life-changing spontaneous awakening she shared her Toltec teacher's teachings and her own experiences as an Interfaith minister ordained by One Spirit Seminary in NYC. In 2019 Karyn was certified as a Mindfulness Meditation teacher taught by Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield in their Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program Program. Incorporating methods of mindfulness, The Four Agreements and mystical teachings of the world's religion into her talks, workshops and writings, Karyn shares wisdom in a non-denominational, dogma free style that is accessible to people who are searching for an open spiritual path that they can call their own. On her Substack, Karyn's Findings, she released Inviting Grace In, a curated full year of quotes to guide readers through Four seasons of spiritual growth: Spring-Uplifting Spirit, Summer-Shifting Perspectives, Autumn-Recognizing Wisdom, Winter-Expanding the understanding of our being. As a life long social activist, Karyn's posts highlight ways we can mindfully and compassionately co-create a world where all life is uplifted with a new understanding of ourselves and the source of existence we often call God. Sean Fargo guides a grounded mindfulness meditation and explores how gentle awareness helps us return from rumination, meet difficult emotions, and carry presence into daily life. If your mind keeps sprinting ahead or replaying the past, this conversation offers a practical way home. We open with a gentle guided practice to help you feel the room, find your seat, and meet your breath without force, then expand into a clear map of how mindfulness works—and how it differs from concentration and visualization. The aim isn't to chase calm; it's to contact what's true right now with honesty, softness, and a touch of courage. We break down the core moves that make mindfulness usable in daily life: noticing when you've slipped into rumination, shifting attention to physical anchors like feet, hands, and breath, and using simple self-soothing gestures to remind the nervous system that it's safe to settle. You'll hear why numbing with food, alcohol, or screens feels tempting and how it quietly shrinks awareness. Instead, we practice naming unpleasantness without judgment and letting acceptance open the door to movement, choice, and care. Along the way, we talk posture, micro-movements, and the subtle cues that reveal where you're bracing and where you can soften.Join us, practice with us, and if this resonated, subscribe, share it with a friend who could use a mindful reset, and leave a quick review so more people can find the show. What small anchor will you use to return to the present today?• intention to support presence, healing, and growth• brief guided body and breath practice• sensing the room, contact, and posture• differentiating mindfulness, concentration, visualization• returning from rumination to sensory anchors• self-soothing through touch and breath• meeting depression, fear, and sadness with acceptance• avoiding numbing and overconsumption• carrying mindfulness into daily activities• resilience and acceptance as forms of loveSupport the showCoupon code and the link are down below, but that will expire shortlyFeel free to text me at 415-939-1126 Certify To Teach Mindfulness & Meditation Since 2015, we've trained over 2,000 people to teach mindfulness in healthcare, business, education, yoga, sports teams, and the U.S. Government.
