Welcome back to another episode of the Mentor Me podcast! I'm very excited to share this episode with you. The guest on today's podcast is Jesse Cole, president of Fans First Entertainment. Jesse is also the author of "Find Your Yellow Tux", which I just finished reading and is an incredible book. Jesse owns two baseball teams under Fans First Entertainment, one of them being the Savannah Banana's. You may not recognize the Savannah Banana's name, but you've definitely seen them on Sportscenter Top 10 before. Baseball team is not even the right way to describe what Jesse owns.... baseball circus might be better! They've created a whole new kind of baseball entertainment, with sold out shows and fans laughing so hard they can't wait for the next game. In this episode Jesse & I talk a lot about the importance of being "Fans First" and being unique in business. The biggest takeaway I had from this podcast was when Jesse talked about the importance of entertaining, because then you never have to sell. If you entertain with your business, people will want to buy from you! They will find you! Let me know your favorite part of the podcast, enjoy! Mentor Me Podcast Channel

The former Michigan State Spartan was chosen in the 12th round of the 2019 MLB draft by the Los Angeles Dodgers. Mitchell grew up in Michigan where hockey and cabin life reign supreme, and we spent a good chunk of time covering those two topics. We even learned about Detroit style pizza. What struck us during the interview was learning how close the Dodgers 2019 draft class had become. The entire class is vying for only a few spots on the MLB roster, yet Mitchell goes in to great detail the lengths these guys go for each other on and off the field. It is another WAC Wednesday and in this episode of the WAC Hoops Digest podcast, I put together some thoughts on Utah Valley and Chicago State. I also talk about a Sportscenter Top-10 moment from Tuesday on the women's side of things. Both Chicago State and Utah Valley lost on Tuesday night. Chicago State played with six players in a 29-point loss at Illinois State. Interim head coach Rodell Davis has a difficult job right now of keeping this team together. The Cougars fought well in the first half, trailing by just six at the break. But Illinois State hit 10 3-pointers in the second half to pull away. Andrew Lewis, Isaiah Lewis, Solomon Hunt, Lou Demuth, and Jordan Polynice all missed Tuesday's game. It will be interesting to see what Chicago State is like when they are fully healthy. Utah Valley had another shot to beat Utah at the Huntsman Center but failed to execute in the final 3:21. In fact, Utah Valley went scoreless over that stretch and the Utes pulled away for the 75-67 win. On its final five possessions, Utah Valley had two missed shots and three turnovers. Not a good combination when you are trying to pull off a major upset. Evan Cole had a career-high 31 points and 10 rebounds but turnovers were the difference on Tuesday night. About Us On HORSE, we don’t analyze wins and losses. We talk beefs, dig into Internet drama, and have fun. The NBA is now a 365-day league and it's never been more present in pop culture. From Kevin Durant's burner accounts to LeBron taking his talents anywhere to trusting the Process, the NBA is becoming a pop culture requirement. At the same time, sports can have gatekeepers that make it insular and frustrating for people who aren't die hard fans. We’re here to prove that basketball is entertaining to follow for all fans, whether you’re actively watching the games or not.

After two high-energy and hectic weekends of MLS, Week 3 brings rivalry flavor as March Madness begins. First, the guys wonder whether the four 0-2 teams need to worry. Friday brings an “expansion” matchup — time for a new moniker? — as Orlando hit the road in search of their first win at New York City FC, where Viera continues to tinker. Crew SC, meanwhile, face a daunting three-game road trip starting in Chicago, Houston bring their supernova attack to face the faltering Red Bulls, Sporting KC host Toronto FC looking to go 3-0-0 on the season and plenty more. Then it’s time to chat with San Jose’s Quincy Amarikwa after his SportsCenter "Top 10" goal against the defending champs. He walks the guys through his emotions after scoring, his journey to establish himself in MLS, American’s battle for playing time and some of the best defenders he’s done battle with. In the mailbag, it is tournament time so obviously it’s time to talk brackets. But not just any old bracket: MLS Mascot Madness. Everyone can have their say as Andrew, Arielle, and David go to bat for their favorite mascots. Cast your vote now!
