Was macht ein E-Sport Manager?

Réalisation: Maëliss Hennetier Crédits sons : Waste Time - Vincent Augustus / freearchivemusic.org (cc by 4.0)

This is part 2 from our recent trip to the Renault F1 factory in Enstone in Oxfordshire. A day that was very much about esports and their announcement about extending, and expanding, their partnership with Team Vitality In the previous podcast, we spoke to the team's Commercial Director, Antoine Magnan about sponsorship and what esports means to the Renault group as a whole. In this show we speak to Guillaume Vergnas, who covers both Formula One and esports for the team and has been an integral part in Renault’s partnership with Team Vitality. Helping to bring the gap between these two areas of the team. We talked about the partnership, what they have learned over the last two years and whether they can still take the title at the Grand Final of the Formula One Esports Pro Series. We spoke to Antoine Magnan during the recent Renault F1 x Team Vitality esports day at the racing team's HQ just outside Oxford. We discussed what the extension of the partnership with Team Vitality means and he also expanded on a comment he made about sponsorship as a straight cash deal being 'dead' during the presentations and what that means for the F1 and esports teams commercially going forward. In this week's edition of the EU LCS Preview Podcast, Chase "RedShirtKing" Wassenar and Walter "Ceades" Fedczuk begin by discussing the increasingly worrying lack of oversight from Riot Games that came to a head this week with the removal of several key players from starting line-ups across Europe and North America due to failing a visa check. After tackling that issue, the two move on to their team previews, as Walter gushes for nearly ten minutes on how incredible FORG1VEN has been this split, the two break down just how damaging Shook has been to Team Vitality's success, and whether anything Elements has shown can be sustainable as their schedule ramps up this season. They close by tackling the week's gambling lines as they hope to improve on their impressive win streak on their Smart Money Bets of the Week. On Day One of the Rough Drafts Podcast's 2016 EU LCS Team-by-Team Preview, Chase "RedShirtKing" Wassenar and Walter "Ceades" Fedczuk take a look at one of the most captivating new teams in the European scene: Team Vitality. After breaking down how they got the spot and the many moves that have redefined this roster, the two question whether Cabochard is able to take the leap and become a top lane power now that he has more talent around him, whether Shook is the long term answer at the jungle position for this roster, if Nukeduck is as good as common wisdom believes he is, and the silliest conspiracy theory the two have ever encountered. They close with their predictions for Team Vitality in the 2016 Spring Split.
