When we are willing to look at our stories, we have the choice to keep the story or let it go. Does the story we tell ourselves keep us stuck and unsure?  What becomes possible when we let go of an old story and explore the possibility of a new narrative?   The horses are potent teachers that reflect back to us what we are telling ourself, and how we might want to live. Kaye Saunders has been making music and helping others to make music for most of her life. She is a singer, pianist, composer, choral conductor, and Director of Music and organist at St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Durham, NC. Kaye has an active private voice and piano studio here in the Triangle, and one of her favorite things is when friends or family gather around her piano to make music together.   Okay, it's Easter week. No one is going anywhere during this pandemic. Her choir and church family are reaching out and expressing their feeling of sadness and loss. Kaye isn't sad. She is glad. Then she is feeling guilty. Then she speaks up, and then she is free.   Kaye reminds us of the importance of being in silence, listening to what we need, quieting the inner guilt-judge, speaking up, and taking time for yourself. She also reminds us to embrace this challenging time as much as possible, and find creative ways to bring more play into your day.   Reach out to Kaye Sunders through Facebook to schedule your online piano or voice lesson!

Tracey O’Connell is a self-proclaimed “Recovering Physician.” After more than two decades as a radiologist, she realized she had been on a path that was not in alignment with her deepest, most authentic self.  Lots of self-study and the work of Brené Brown helped her to rediscover her Truth.  She became a Certified Daring Way™ Facilitator and now helps others incorporate Brené's tools for wholehearted living into their own lives to bring more self-love, authenticity, vulnerability, and resilience.   In our podcast, Tracey shares how leaving her job was not easy and a real leap of faith. As a radiologist, she found herself evolving - as a person in the dark - and chose to embrace vulnerability (uncertainly, risk, and emotional exposure) and make soul-affirming changes.   If you feel out of alignment with your true Self, ask for help. It actually is possible to acquire new tools to take better care of YOU to be able to live and love with your whole heart.   Reach out to Tracey O’Connell - www.fertilesoul.com
