Harmanjit Khakh cannot be described by a traditional title because he prefers to be defined as someone whose purpose is to exude, live and spread positivity. Apart from being a dope/talented individual, Harman places more of an emphasis on understanding your emotional intelligence, and realizing that what you give power to affects the outcome of your day. Harman's enlightened thinking and desire to help people caused him to pursue his current program at McMaster University in Addictions Education with a focus on Psychological Counselling in hopes to become a licensed counsellor in the near future. Born in Etobicoke, Ontario but raised in Brampton, Harman was drawn to sports which not only allowed him to be a diverse athlete, but more importantly taught him about discipline, sacrifice, and our will/capacity as individuals. He believes that one should apply the same mentality given to sports in conquering life’s daily battles. Suffering a shoulder injury, Harman unlike most people views this as a positive experience because everything that followed, such as his degree choice, his improved emotional well-being, and his outlook on life, were due to something negative just being soil for seeds of positivity. Among many other things Harman is an influencer, a communicator, a sport enthusiast, an adamant rap enthusiast, a former Pearson International Airport worker, a volunteer with PCHS and Sikh heritage Month, and one of the most positive people I've met. On this episode we talk about realizing your emotional intelligence, how perspective can turn negativity into positivity, how the modern education system is failing students, and the importance of trusting your age.
