Today's episode sparks the question: What is holding you back from getting well? Dr. Jaban touches on the direct correlation between physical and emotional triggers that could be suppressing the healthiest version of yourself. Although every protocol varies from patient to patient, there is a solution to finding the healthiest version of yourself! Dr. Jaban also covers “the fun stuff,” aka the healing treatments he typically recommends: enemas, castor oil packs, ozone, acupuncture, chiropractic adjustments, tapping, lymph drainage, and more!
Today on the Gut Health Reset Podcast, we are discussing leaky gut and food sensitivities with Dr. Vincent Pedre! Leaky gut syndrome is a growing concern in the field of gut health. With the right approach, it is possible to heal your gut and start feeling better than ever. So if you're been wondering how to take your digestion to the next level - fermented foods may be just what you're looking for!In today's episode, we will answer these questions:- What are fermented foods?- Why should you include fermented foods in your diet?- How can you get started with fermenting your own foods at home?- Who should avoid eating fermented foods?- And more!-Recommended Supplements:Wired But Tired - https://drannmariebarter.com/product/wired-but-tired/ Gut Support Kit - https://drannmariebarter.com/product/the-barter-protocol-gut-support-kit/ -About Holly Howe:Holly is the founder of makesauerkraut.com a popular resource for online fermentation classes, recipes, and articles, with over 90,000 monthly visitors. Today on the Gut Health Reset Podcast, we are discussing autoimmune diseases with Dr. David Bilstrom! There is a growing body of evidence indicating that gut health plays a key role in autoimmune disease. The gut microbiome, the community of microbes that live in the intestines, has been shown to influence the development and severity of autoimmune conditions. For example, studies have shown that gut dysbiosis, an imbalance in the gut microbiome, can trigger or worsen autoimmune conditions like inflammatory bowel disease and celiac disease. Changes to the gut microbiome have been observed during flares of autoimmune diseases.Additionally, the gut microbiome produces metabolites that can affect immune system function. Therefore, maintaining a healthy gut microbiome is essential for preventing or managing autoimmune disease. In today's episode, we will answer these questions:- Why has the rate of autoimmunity grown exponentially?- What diseases contribute to autoimmune issues?- What issues can trigger hyperthyroidism?- What can people do to prevent autoimmune disease?- And more!-Recommended Supplements:IBS Support Capsules - https://drannmariebarter.com/product/ibs-support-probiotic-capsules/ IBS Support Powder - https://drannmariebarter.com/product/ibs-support-probiotic-powder/ -About Dr. David Bilstrom:Dr. David Bilstrom, MD, is the Director of the International Autoimmune Institute & Bingham Memorial Center for Functional Medicine. Today on the Gut Health Reset Podcast, we are discussing the emerging field of Fecal Microbiota Transplants with Dr. Shaina Cahill! The gut microbiome is a hot topic in the world of health and wellness, and for good reason: gut health has been linked to everything from weight loss to improved mood and cognitive function. So it's no surprise that researchers are looking for ways to optimize gut health. One promising area of research is fecal microbiota transplants (FMTs).FMTs involve transferring healthy gut bacteria from one individual to another. Stool from a healthy donor is transplanted into the gut of someone with an unhealthy gut microbiome. The donor stool contains a diversity of healthy gut bacteria that can help to restore balance in the recipient's gut. FMTs have been shown to be effective in treating conditions like Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, and irritable bowel syndrome. While more research is needed to fully understand the potential of FMTs, there is promise that this therapy could one day be used to treat a variety of gut-related conditions. We will answer these questions:- What is a Fecal Microbiota Transplant (FMT) and why would you want one?- How can FMT transform your gut health?- How are FMT donors vetted and screened?- Where can someone go for more information on FMTs?- And more!-Recommended Supplements: Binding Fiber Support - https://drannmariebarter.com/product/binding-fiber-support-capsules/ Wired But Tired - https://drannmariebarter.com/product/wired-but-tired/ -About Dr. Shaina:Shaina is a neuroscientist with an interest in alternative medicines that utilize the body's innate systems and a passion for medical education and scientific communication. One of my favorite things about getting to talk to so many successful men on this show is the uniqueness in their individual approaches to their field. Whats even cooler then that is when I get to notice the characteristics and traits that are similar across many of their stories. Arguably the most common among these is this innate drive and focus that my guest today, Matt Ward, used in a phrase that just punched me when he said it. All or nothing. Matt is a Chiropractic Doctor, backcountry hunter, outdoorsman, fitness enthusiast, and podcast host of Beyond The Kill, although I'm sure I'm forgetting something in there. With all of those pursuits being rather time intensive, its hard to imagine how you can really be “All or Nothing”. But what I've come to realize is that the phrase doesn't always mean, at the expense of everything else. That is just the level of focus and attention to detail brought to each endeavor. This was a great conversation catching up with Matt, and we were able to cover a lot of ground about lessons he's learned on how to be successful in the mountains and in fitness. Today on the Gut Health Reset Podcast, we are discussing how alcohol affects your gut health in unexpected ways with Dr. Brooke Scheller! Most people are aware that drinking alcohol can have negative consequences for their health, but many are unaware of the specific ways in which it can damage their bodies. Drinking alcohol can hurt your body's microbiome, the collection of beneficial bacteria that live in your gut. This can lead to gut permeability, or "leaky gut," which allows undigested food particles and toxins to enter the bloodstream, leading to inflammation and other issues. Finally, alcohol consumption can trigger an immune response in the gut, which can worsen autoimmune symptoms. For all these reasons, it is important to be mindful of how much alcohol you consume, and why abstaining from alcohol or limiting intake to moderate levels is essential for maintaining a healthy gut microbiome. In today's episode, we will answer these questions:- Why should you cut alcohol out of your diet?- How can wine trigger acid reflux?- What happens to the microbiome when you're consuming a lot of alcohol?- How can alcohol affect autoimmune diseases?- What steps can you take to change your relationship with alcohol?- Where can you find useful, non-alcoholic drink recipes?- And more!-Supplements: Sugar Cravings Support - https://drannmariebarter.com/product/sugar-cravings-support/ -About Dr. Brooke Scheller:Dr. Brooke Scheller is a Doctor of Clinical Nutrition, Certified Nutrition Specialist and expert in nutrition for alcohol use by impacting gut and brain health. So if it's at birth during the birthing process, that's when it should happen. Or if it's three months after birth, that's when it should happen.” “And that's why it's good to have a chiropractor in your health team. A kid is not going to tell you ‘hey my neck hurts', or ‘I have a headache'. A baby is not going to be able to communicate that.” “We live our lives in the nervous system, everyone of us. It doesn't matter if you're a day old or a hundred years old. Every organ, every muscle, every gland, every tissue, every single cell in the body knows exactly what to do, when to do it, and how to do it because the brain tells it so.” “We always let the parent know we're not here to treat any disease or condition. We're looking to see how the nervous system is functioning.” “As a chiropractor, the way that I practice is I never base where I was going to adjust based on the symptom, I did it based on what I found to be out of adjustment.” “More times than not with ADHD, it's almost always the atlas bone, the top bone of the neck and the axis below it. those are almost always the ones involved… and sometimes just by adjusting the atlas, the rest of the spine will follow.” “So the course of care is going to be determined by the severity of the subluxation pattern, how long have they been out of adjustment for, what is their lifestyle like, what is their commitment… we have some kids that may need 2 or 3 times a week, some kids that need once a week… all depends on what it takes to reset that nervous system.” “One of my mentors used to talk about rehabituation rather than rehabilitation… we want to create new habits for not only lifestyle but for the muscles to settle into their current place.” Dana Kay Resources: Website - https://adhdthriveinstitute.com/ Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/adhdthriveinstitute Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/adhdthriveinstitute/ YouTube - https://www.youtube.com/c/ADHDThriveInstitute LinkedIn - https://www.linkedin.com/company/74302454/ Pinterest - https://www.pinterest.com/adhdthriveinstitute/ Tiktok - https://www.tiktok.com/@adhd_thriveinstitute International Best Selling Book, Thriving with ADHD - https://adhdthriveinstitute.com/book/ Free Reduce ADHD Symptoms Naturally Masterclass - https://adhdthrivemethod.com/masterclass-rego-page ADHD Parenting Course - https://adhdthrivemethod.com/adhd-thrive-jump-start-parenting-4-adhd ADHD Thrive Method 4 Kids Program - https://adhdthriveinstitute.com/packages/
