Strippers are real people that are capable of amazing things, in and outside of the strip club.  On “Yes, a Stripper Podcast” each week with a different guest, our host, AM Davies, discusses what strippers are up to, what the climate in and outside of the clubs is like and how social classifications can be harmful to marginalized groups.  Strippers, sex workers, pole dancers and civilians can learn from stripper and sex worker community members and their allies.

The Yes, a Stripper Podcast is an absolute game-changer in the podcasting world. From the moment I started listening, I was captivated by the powerful and impactful stories shared by guests within the stripper community. This podcast provides a much-needed platform for sex workers to share their experiences, missions in life, and advocacy efforts. In a society where these voices are often silenced or dismissed, The Yes, a Stripper Podcast is both refreshing and vital.

One of the best aspects of this podcast is its ability to shed light on the experiences of strippers and sex workers that many civilians may not otherwise be exposed to. As a civilian pole dancer myself, I have found immense value in hearing about the journeys of those within the industry. This podcast has given me a newfound appreciation for the athleticism and talent required in this profession. Additionally, The Yes, a Stripper Podcast serves as an excellent resource for individuals interested in intersectional feminism. By amplifying diverse voices within the sex work community, it challenges societal norms and opens up important conversations.

While it is difficult to find any faults with such an important podcast, one potential drawback could be addressing more historical context surrounding stripping, pole dancing, and the sex industry. The first episode touched on this briefly but delving deeper into these histories would provide listeners with even greater insight into the evolution of these industries over time.

In conclusion, The Yes, a Stripper Podcast is an incredibly valuable resource that offers an entirely fresh perspective on a topic often considered taboo. By sharing authentic stories from individuals within the stripper community, this podcast encourages empathy and understanding while challenging social norms. I am eagerly awaiting more episodes from Queen Of Sexy and her incredible team as they continue to educate and inspire through their informative conversations.
