Sunstone Metals Ltd (ASX:STM) managing director Patrick Duffy talked with Proactive's Tylah Tully about the company's key milestones achieved in 2024 and its plans for the Bramaderos and El Palmar projects in Ecuador in 2025. Duffy outlined significant developments, including a new porphyry discovery at the Bramaderos Project's Copete target and strong drill results at the high-grade Limon epithermal system, with a resource estimate anticipated in 2025. At the El Palmar Project, the company announced a 1.20 million-ounce resource, complemented by an exploration target of 15 to 25 million ounces. Duffy likened the scale of this discovery to the Boddington gold mine in Western Australia. Leadership transitions in 2024 have been instrumental, with Duffy stepping in as managing director, Malcolm Norris transitioning to chairman and new team members Neil O'Connor and Lucas Welsh joining the board and leadership team. Duffy also provided updates on partnership discussions aimed at securing funding to advance both major projects in 2025. #ProactiveInvestors #SunstoneMetals #ASX #ASXSTM #BramaderosProject #ElPalmarProject #GoldExploration #MiningNews #PatrickDuffy #ProactiveStudio

Gold approached $2,000 earlier this week but then fizzled as the upcoming Fed hike weighed, noted mining audiences manager Michael McCrae. On Friday McCrae recorded Kitco Roundtable. The Fed skipped a raise in June. There were signs that the Fed is winning its inflation battle with favorable data about jobs and inflation, but the Fed will not be deterred. Analysts say that The Fed is almost certain to hike its policy rate by 25bp to between 5.25% and 5.50% at next week's FOMC meeting. Gold finished the week in the $1,960 range. Copper was off for the week. China did introduce a modest stimulus to boost automobile and electronics consumption, but it didn't climb the wall of worry. Slow China growth has been an anchor on copper. Copper futures dropped about 2%. Last checked copper was in the 3.80 a pound range. Newmont (NYSE: NEM) (TSX: NGT), the world's largest gold producer, announced this week that its Q2 2023 attributable gold production decreased 17% y-o-y to 1.24 million ounces primarily due to lower production at Peñasquito, Akyem, Merian, Cerro Negro and Boddington. However, Newmont affirmed guidance. Newmont dropped three percent on the week. Newmont acquisition target, Newcrest, was down 2% for the week. There may be some bullishness. Equipment makers have been reporting some strong quarters. Sandvik reported that its revenue grew 16% in the second quarter. Mining equipment company Epiroc said this week that revenue was up 34% in Q2

Wild creatures and wild places have always stirred me – from the first flushing pheasant that frightened me out of my socks in grandpa's cornfield to the last whitetail that dismissed me with a wag of its tail. In my attempts to connect with this natural wonder, to become an integral part of our ecosystem and capture a bit of its mystery, I've photographed, hiked, hunted, birded, and fished across much of this planet. I've seen the beauty that everyone should see, survived adventures that everyone should experience. I may not have climbed the highest mountains, canoed the wildest rivers, caught the largest fish or shot the biggest bucks, but I've tried. Perhaps you have, too. And that's the essential thing. Psalm 118 - His love endures for ever.
_________________________________________________ Conheça o Sorella Cast: @sociedadeespiritasorella Conheça o Portal Léon Denis Online: @leondenisonline Conheça a Associação Física e Espiritismo: @fisicaeespiritismo Acesse a página do Programa Mediunidades: @mediunidade _______________________________________ Site: https://ocastdosespiritos.libsyn.com Instagram: @ocastdosespiritos Youtube: https://bit.ly/ocastdosespiritos _________________________________________________ Referências BETTO, F.; GLEISER, M., Conversa sobre fé e a ciência. 1ª Edição. In 1901, two English academics met a succession of strange characters during a visit to Versailles. They came to believe that they had strayed somehow into the mind of Marie Antoinette in the year before her execution. Five years and six marathons later and she has lowered that Marathon time to 2:52.39. In February 2020 she finished 2nd in the 50k National Championships / Donadea 50k in a time of 3:34.13 and achieved the International A Standard and could now run 50K over 10 minutes faster than her first Marathon (42.2K). She has since been selected to run on the Women’s Team at the Anglo Celtic Pate. Albert Einstein once said, "We can not solve our problems with the same level of thinking that created them." That's true, but can we find solutions by reverse-engineering the problem with a problem solver's mindset? Our guests today on OrthoGuide, Richard Boddington and Edouard Saget, founders and CEO of OrthoGrid, answer that question and explore healthcare problem solving with host Sean Heath. Utah-based OrthoGrid started as a solution to help orthopedic surgeons position better for implants, leg lengths, and hip offset and grew into a portfolio of patented and patent-pending technologies related to intraoperative assessment using radiopaque grid patterns. "We saw an opportunity for providing solutions that could be solved real-time, along with automation of implant placements or fracture reduction," Boddington said. "But it's also supporting on the spot difficult decisions or situational awareness with the predictive capability to identify certain problems ahead of time. These are the niche problems we hope to solve." But solving technological problems in healthcare often requires a hybrid type of expert that's hard to come by. "It takes a lot of time to find the people that have the passion, interest, and knowledge," Boddington said. "One of the challenges in finding a person who has expertise in multiple areas. It's hard to find a computer science expert that's also got the in-depth knowledge of an orthopedic surgeon." While technology and AI have made the solutions possible, technology in of itself is not a solution, Saget said. "We're looking for problems with a new perspective and we find new problems all the time," he said. "The fun part is we think there are solutions for them."
These unprecedented times have turned the dance world on its head. With many performances and festivals being canceled, we have now turned to the digital world to connect once more. But can these online platforms provide the same intimacy as a live audience? Or do we have to consider this new form a part of the enduring reality? Do these platforms dilute or strengthen engagement? These are the questions of the times we find ourselves in, and ones Ghislaine Boddington has been asking throughout her extensive career. In this episode, which is part two of a discussion with Ghislaine, we talk about how younger dance artists can work to create connections with the tech world. Through their social access to friends or acquittances working in tech, they can find commonalities, and in doing so strengthen ties between these disparate worlds. We also talk about the reality of funding for dance tech and how the lack of it has stifled its growth.
We find ourselves in unprecedented times. Social distance and self-isolation have shown us the importance of physical closeness, and the urgent need to recreate it in some form. Today's guest, Ghislaine Boddington, is here to share more about her work. With a focus on collective embodiment, she envisions a unique future of the internet of bodies, bound by sensors and implants, tele-intuition, and dissolution of the boundaries between physical and virtual. In the world we now find ourselves in, Ghislaine’s advocation for the entire body in the development of telepresence and virtual communications is more relevant than ever. She is an award-winning speaker, curator, and director, specialising in the future human, body responsive technologies and immersive experiences.

“We’ve had 4 young widows at these camps. And they want to take their kids hunting but they’ve lost their mentor. They come to us for basic skills so they can pass on to their kids and pass on the skills.” - Brittany Boddington Today I have a couple of women who see the hunting industry landscape, and they are getting involved in an interesting way. In this episode, we chat with Brittany and Shannon from She Hunts Skills Camp. They’re empowering women to sharpen their hunting skills in a camp that is just for women. The guests go through real, legitimate training with industry professionals to learn to shoot, stalk, butcher, the whole 9 yards. I was expecting to hear about how Shannon and Brittany had impacted people’s skill sets. What I wasn’t prepared for are how this camp has actually impacted people’s lives. It’s clear they’re making waves with the women who attend. I commend them for that and hope they see many years of success going forward with this. Hunting isn’t just man’s nature. It’s mankind’s. Learn more about the She Hunts Skills Camp. Watch their video here. Restless Native is Sponsored by Ramcat Broadheads So many of our guests have talked about how much hard work they put into their hunting season. Just like you, they train for the year to ensure they make a quick, ethical kill on the animal. To do that as an archer, you need a high quality broadhead in your quiver, which is why I’m bringing this message to you from our sponsor, Ramcat Broadheads. Keep listening—we’ve got a deal for you in just a second. First, I wanted to tell you about the technology behind these blades. Ramcats make a wickedly accurate broadhead that is known for being a highly technical and meticulously designed. They work a bit differently than what you’re use to. They have concave scoops that create an airfoil, which eliminates wind planing. This forces air to slip over the ferrule and arrow shaft for best in-class accuracy and impact energy. It’s time to put Ramcat’s top performance in your quiver. It doesn’t matter if you’re shooting a recurve, compound or crossbow, and no matter the speed of your bow. You can get 25% off your first purchase of Ramcat Broadheads with code gowild2018. This info is also in the show notes. Thank you to Ramcat Broadheads for sponsoring Restless Native. We appreciate ya.

A woman is facing theft charges in the US for eating a cheeky slice of ham every now and then at work, but over the years it's turned out to be over $12k worth of stolen meat! What were the little things you took from work? Sam got kicked off Survivor last night and he joined the guys to talk about his time on the show, how he felt being kicked off and what he thinks about some of the contestants playing the game. Georgina was proposed to in a spectacular way on a farm! We heard all about the proposal and also what it was like living in Moora when she used to believe she'd end up living in New York! Tanya moved to Boddington and she couldn't believe how everyone knew what everyone else's occupations were. Jenny lived in Williams and the worst part was the isolation. Molly lives in Busselton and can't go night shopping because the only shops open are the supermarket and Target. Finally, Pav joined the guys and reminisced about collapsing at his very first AFL training with Shaun, and gave us his thoughts on what's happening at Freo at the moment. Ed Fowkes, development director of Prosperity Capital Partners discusses with Andrew Teacher the company's new Build to Rent in scheme in Manchester and the growth of BTR in the regions. Property developers are turning to regional cities to meet growing demand for housing. As house prices have outstripped wage growth in the capital, people are now moving to cities like Manchester and Birmingham for more affordable homes. On our latest podcast, “BTR in the regions: Boddington’s Regeneration”, for PropCasts by Blackstock Consulting, we interviewed Ed Fowkes, development director at Prosperity Capital Partners. Ed revealed their approach to development in the regions and details about their Old Brewery Gardens build to rent (BTR) scheme in Manchester. Prosperity Capital Partners are helping Manchester expand north with their BTR scheme on the historical Boddington’s Old Brewery Gardens site. The scheme offers over 550 high quality flats to rent, as well as townhouses with their own private gardens and playground for children. “We think about our future tenants as long-term customers, and want them to become fans of the product we offer. This includes the quality of the homes we build as well as the amenity spaces we create, encouraging them to interact and know each other. Be it yoga outdoors, or gardening on the building’s rooftop, the amenities we deliver encourage people to know each other”, said Ed Fowkes during the PropCast interview. Due to institutional investment in BTR products as emerging assets, developers are taking a long-term view of what they offer. Unlike the Buy to Let landlords that do not benefit from such investment, BTR developers are thinking about the tenants’ long-term living experience. “Our commercial imperative is to think about rents now but also think about them in 7 years’ time”, added Ed. “We bear in mind that we’re trying to convince the tenants to make the place we build their own home, not just a space to rent.” The Old Brewery Gardens BTR scheme will also offer commercial space for light industrial workshops, supporting small and medium sized businesses in the area. This incorporates the history of the Manchester area and helps people interact with the local industry. “What we build and offer must be meaningful not only for the tenants, but for the whole local area, encouraging and supporting businesses to thrive”, said Ed.

It went on to air on many of the world's biggest broadcasters, including TF1 in France, STARZ in the USA, Antenna 3 in Spain, and Channel 5 in the UK. His most recent project, Phoenix Wilder: And The Great Elephant Adventure, releases nationwide on 700+ theatres in the USA on April 16th, 2018. When Phoenix Wilder, a 13-year-old orphaned American boy, receives word that he is to live with his only surviving relative, his Aunt Sarah who lives in Africa with her husband, “Uncle Jack,” Phoenix quickly falls in love with his new surroundings. However, while out on safari with his uncle, Phoenix becomes lost from the rest of the party and must quickly learn to survive in the African bush. As the search for Phoenix continues, the boy becomes fast friends with a giant bull elephant he was able to free from a trap. Phoenix names the elephant Indlovu, and as they begin to bond, Phoenix decides to try to stop the band of poachers who prey on African elephants.

Over the past 40 years, Craig Boddington traveled to 56 countries to hunt about 300 species with several hundred outfitters—over 110 hunts in Africa alone. From Kyrgyzstan to Kansas, Mozambique to Montana, no other hunter is more qualified to identify a good outfitter. And his only criteria is: “Would Craig suggest the outfit to his best friend?”. We speak with Craig's brand manager, Conrad Evarts about the Endorsed Outfitter program and what to expect when you click the website. You can find more information at http://www.craigboddington.com. Playing for Team Human today is immersion experience artist and pioneer, Ghislaine Boddington. Ghislaine joins Douglas for a conversation about the nature of immersive technologies and how we might bring our bodies with us into the digital realm. Rather than diminish the role of the physical body, Ghislaine’s work celebrates the body as an integral part of enhanced immersive experience. As Creative Director at body>data>space Ghislaine’s art and practice embraces technologies that amplify connection, collectivity, and togetherness. In the course of their conversation, Ghislaine and Douglas discuss the virtues of such body-positive, community-minded use of tech while simultaneously questioning how we might we explore digital immersion in a way that avoids paving the way for those who would exploit us. Thus emerges the question, in the process of embedding digital devices within our physical selves, do we risk becoming the raw materials for the next frontier of technology-driven extractive capitalism? How might we steer this ship toward team human values?Douglas begins today’s show with a monologue about the threat of technology usurping human agency. It’s a personal story about his neighborhood UPS driver who refused to conform to the GPS route, opting instead to become part of the local community rather than be a mere delivery “robot.”This week’s episode features our usual intro and outro music thanks to Fugazi and Dischord Records. At the midroll music was composed and recorded by last week’s guest, Stacco Troncoso of the P2P foundation. Thanks to all our supporters on Patreon for making this show possible. … in which Jake and Mako talk about getting humbled! We've all been there, haven't we? When you level up, and with your new-found power you decide that you're most likely invincible? Wolfy brings it this week as Tobias becomes squid food, Magnus stares down ancient constructs of his ancestors, Terro atop George gets shot from the sky, Boddington plays "cat and mouse" with a mousehole that's too small, and Violette … well, actually, Violette ends up getting a nice bonus from Kria. Perhaps she knows what she's doing.
… in which Jake and Mako get a little giddy over the first stop in their Floating Isles tour. After cleaning up the mess of a trio of trolls - and a slight tangent on the merits of meta-gaming classic monsters - our heroes set off to explore this thick, forest island. Tobias goes head over heals for some magic-draining lizard-folk, Magnus coaxes Boddington into conversing with a predatory narwal, and Violette is left to wonder how halflings are wired as Terro finds a hapless deer to be a worthy opponent.
… in which Jake and Mako return to the darkness from whence they came. It's resolution time for those adventurers that remain in the Shadow Plane in pursuit of the Star Powder/Dust. Tobias disappears … or did he transmogrify into that colorful bag of tasty-lookin' eats? Violette stumbles upon a hellish abyss; Magnus finds that his leg would much rather just be a shadow; Boddington plays with his spyglass; and George and Terro become a tribute duo to Foo Fighters! Okay, that's kind of a stretch of a reference, but you'll get it!
... in which Jake and Mako rely on Meg and Nicole for any semblance of an episode. Violette is still in liquid form and Boddington ran off in reply to a message left from Krist, the elder gnome. In other words, in the real world, the two of them were out of town and are now left with the collective narrative focus of the Baker Girls ... Kria help us!
... in which Jake and Mako AAAND Meg and Nicole and Schlegel get to 'glowin'! The whole gang's here (sans the elusive DM, Wolfy) to bring us all up to speed. Tobias and Boddington are left blinking at a puddle that was once Violette. Magnus gets in a classy tavern brawl with some new friends; and off in the wilderness outside Westwall, a gruff halfling named Terro - along with his trusty owl, George - is passing the time collecting goblin ears. How in Cosmopolitaniana could such disparate paths possibly cross within one gaming session??
