Far East Gold Ltd (ASX:FEG) CEO Shane Menere joins Jonathan Jackson in the Proactive studio to discuss a Binding Term Sheet (BTS) with PT Iriana Mutiara Idenburg (IMI) to acquire up to 100% of the Idenburg Gold Project in Papua, Indonesia. The 95,280-hectare Contract of Work (CoW) is in a region known for significant gold and copper deposits, such as Grasberg and Porgera. Historical exploration worth more than US$25 million, including 5,531 metres of diamond drilling, indicates the project's advanced status. The deposit is orogenic, akin to notable goldfields like Kalgoorlie and South Eastern Australia. Noteworthy is that major gold producers, including Barrick, Newmont and Newcrest, have previously explored the site. Despite extensive exploration, only 30% of the CoW has been detailed and metallurgical testing shows promising gold recoverability. An independent report by SMGC suggests an exploration target of up to 7.2 million ounces at 6.1 g/t gold, though this remains conceptual. The project benefits from excellent logistics, being just 120 kilometres south of Jayapura and intersected by the Trans Papua Highway. The deal terms include staged earn-in and minimal cash payments. FEG's acquisition is facilitated by the removal of previous forestry restrictions that hindered development. The company sees this as an endorsement of its exploration capabilities and looks forward to further developing the Idenburg project. The company has also appointed non-executive chair Justin Werner with immediate effect. #ProctiveInvestors #FarEastGold #ASX #IdenburgProject, #GoldMining, #PapuaIndonesia, #MiningAcquisition, #GoldExploration, #ContractOfWork, #GoldDeposit, #MetallurgicalTesting, #OrogenicGold, #MiningDeal, #ExplorationTargets, #SMGCReport, #BarrickGold, #Newmont, #Newcrest, #TransPapuaHighway, #HistoricalExploration, #GoldRecovery, #MiningDevelopment #invest #investing #investment #investor #stockmarket #stocks #stock #stockmarketnews

Caleb Stroup, President and CEO of Headwater Gold (CSE:HWG - OTCQB:HWAUF) ("Headwater" or the "Company") joins me to recap the December 6th news release, reporting initial results from this year's over 17,000 meter program, across 4 Projects. The Company provided results from the Spring Peak, Mahogany and Katey Projects as well as commentary on the core from Midas North. See Figure 1 below from the news release outlining where the Projects are located.   We start by recapping the results from the Spring Peak Project, in Nevada, which accounted for around half of all the drilling in this year's program. The Company was following up on the initial discovery at the Disco Zone. We also discuss a large step out hole that is 400 meters northeast along strike, which assays are still waiting to be received.   We then discuss the drill results for Oregon at the Mahogany and Katey Projects. This ties into a discussion on the other 100% owned projects that Company has that may be drilled next year.   Before wrapping up I ask Caleb about the Company's partner on 4 projects, Newmont Corporation (NYSE:NEM). The initial earn-in agreement was signed with Newcrest that was acquired by Newmont earlier this year.   If you have any follow up questions for Caleb please email me at Fleck@kereport.com.   Click here to read over the full news release reporting the drill results.

Interview with Ewan Webster, President & CEO of Thesis Gold Inc. Recording date: 20th November 2023BC Explorers Join Forces, Establish District-Scale Gold Project with World-Class PotentialThesis Gold recently merged with Benchmark Metals, combining their respective advanced exploration assets in British Columbia's mineral-rich Golden Triangle mining district. Thesis President and CEO Ewan Webster asserts that uniting the adjacent properties creates a more significant consolidated land package, unlocking operational synergies and enhanced economics. With companies increasingly competing for scarce high-quality gold ounces globally, this union may form an emerging district-play consolidator attractive to majors active nearby.During a recent interview, Webster detailed several strategic rationales behind the decision to join forces. Primarily, combining the multi-million-ounce Lawyers project's existing resource with Thesis' earlier-stage Ranch showing helps achieve improved scale. Additional upside stems from synergies related to shared infrastructure, drilling efficiencies and environmental/permitting streamlining. Furthermore, the proximal projects can leverage centralized operations around a common process plant, declining gold grades industry-wide make large, higher-margin deposits increasingly coveted. The merger partners envision optimizing their consolidated asset base through a staged production schedule targeting high-grade ounces early. Initial output would source Ranch material via trucking to a centrally located Lawyers facility. The subsequent underground Lawyers mine would follow before incorporating traditional open pit feed later. Furthermore, $9 million in current funding sees the company fully finance upcoming milestones including a 2Q 2023 inaugural global resource estimate and 3Q preliminary economic assessment update.Significantly expanding the existing resource and enhancing benchmark financial returns rank among key next steps for validating and quantifying the merged assets' ultimate potential. Management believes the Ranch contribution will prove substantial, with remarkably high optionality remaining through additional drilling. While reluctant to commit prematurely to further studies amid volatile market conditions, the project's de-risked status enables rapid initiation of more advanced feasibility work when justified.Beyond prolific regional geology and considerable existing development, the asset benefits from British Columbia's stable pro-mining regime and excellent surrounding infrastructure. Major gold miners Newmont and Newcrest recently acquired substantial existing operations nearby. This underscores the jurisdiction's attractiveness along with mineral endowment. Furthermore, a skilled local workforce, roads, power and additional critical support facilities facilitate efficient exploration and development, key considerations for future capital investors. In summary, Thesis Gold's merger with Benchmark Metals positions the company to establish one leading next generation gold project in a Tier I mining destination. Investors weighing exposure to British Columbia's prolific Golden Triangle zone or consolidation opportunities more broadly may find the current valuation and high-impact upcoming catalysts presenting an appealing opportunity. Management makes a compelling case that the fused assets and dedicated leadership team offer scale, margins and exploration upside that mining majors may find hard to ignore.View Thesis Gold's company profile: https://www.cruxinvestor.com/companies/thesis-goldSign up for Crux Investor: https://cruxinvestor.com

The industry needs to actively promote its value proposition, including its commitment to sustainability, technological advancements, and positive contributions to local economies and communities. Closing the gender gap in the mining industry is crucial, as women are underrepresented in the workforce. Efforts should be made to attract more women to STEM careers and create a safe and inclusive work environment. Collaboration and partnerships among industry players are necessary to address the skills gap. This includes working with universities to develop programs that meet industry needs and providing opportunities for on-the-job learning. BEST MOMENTS "We've not done ourselves any favours as an industry… We have a very strong value proposition as an industry."  "We have seen a jump in enrolment of females into STEM disciplines… So those excuses don't hold."  "Be very systematic… actively go after the opportunities that will give you the on-the-job experience to build those skills."  "We've always looked for the one silver bullet… You have to go at this with a number of parallel levers all at the same time."  "We actually have to demonstrate that this is one of the best industries to be in… It provides such an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others going forward."  VALUABLE RESOURCES Mail:        rob@mining-international.org LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/rob-tyson-3a26a68/ X:              https://twitter.com/MiningRobTyson YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/c/DigDeepTheMiningPodcast  Web:        http://www.mining-international.org Rob Tyson is the Founder and Director of Mining International Ltd, a leading global recruitment and headhunting consultancy based in the UK specialising in all areas of mining across the globe from first-world to third-world countries from Africa, Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and Australia. There were signs that the Fed is winning its inflation battle with favorable data about jobs and inflation, but the Fed will not be deterred. Analysts say that The Fed is almost certain to hike its policy rate by 25bp to between 5.25% and 5.50% at next week's FOMC meeting.  Gold finished the week in the $1,960 range. Copper was off for the week.  China did introduce a modest stimulus to boost automobile and electronics consumption, but it didn't climb the wall of worry.  Slow China growth has been an anchor on copper.  Copper futures dropped about 2%. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

In this episode I chat with Nic Earner, Managing Director at Alkane Resources (ASX:ALK). Thanks to Lucas Robinson and the crew at Corporate Storytime for teeing this yarn up. ALK are an interesting story. Their flagship Gold producing asset is Tomingley, which is located near Dubbo in NSW.  Tomingley pumped out 73,000 ounces of gold in FY22 at an AISC of A$1300/oz. On the exploration front, they've got the Northern Molong Porphyry Project which is 35km east of Dubbo, and its about 130km north of the massive Newcrest porphyr copper gold operation of Cadia. This hosts the Boda and Kaiser deposits which contain a Resource of 15moz gold equivalent (with a lot of ground to further explore). ALK are looking to prove up a similar style deposit to Cadia Valley. Nic takes us through a bit about his career but more so an in-depth yarn about the history of Alkane and where they are heading. Nic is an absolutely cracking bloke and it was a very insightful chat about a Gold Producer and explorer from my favourite neck of the woods in NSW. **Check out Corporate Storytime for all your ASX Investor Relations needs** If you would like your company to be a part of Life Of Mine, get in touch with me via matt@lifeofminepodcast.com ***DISCLAIMER*** All Life Of Mine episodes are for information only and may contain forward looking statements that may not eventuate. He gives us an overview of their recent deal with Newcrest and what the future holds for Headwater Gold. KEY TAKEAWAYS Headwater Gold was set up to explore high-grade epithermal veins in the Western US. Until now, exploration focused on finding close-to-surface deposits, which means there is enormous potential for large, but deeper finds. Focusing on generating new projects, from scratch, avoids the sometimes-negative baggage that comes with developing established claims.
