West Seneca's Eric Van Houten is now a Nashville resident pursuing his dream of country music superstardom. His 2022 full length album "Dreamers" (available everywhere music can be found) is gaining national recognition. His talent has been so recognized that country songwriter Chris Destefano, who's written #1 hits for Carrie Underwood, Rascal Flatts, Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, and MIranda Lambert, has started writing for Eric. He'll be back in WNY performing live at the Howl in the Hills concert August 6th at Holland Speedway. The show also features Gary Levox from Rascal Flatts. We kick off another Inside Music Row with the mention of Billy Ray Cyrus as he has just wrapped another movie project here in Middle Tennessee.  "Like A Country Song" was filmed all over downtown Nashville and the surrounding area and is expected to hit theaters in November.  Tracy Lawrence is also in the news as he is set to relase his next project "Headlights, Tallights and Radios."  This is the first full studio album Tracy has put out in several years and will hit stores August 20th.  Billy Currington is also releasing a new album on September 17th called "We Are Tonight."  You've probably already heard the lead single "Hey Girl" on the radio, which was written by hitmakers Rhett Akins, Chris DeStefano and shley Gorley.  Up next is Hunter Hayes as he is set to headline his first tour this fall with "CMT On Tour: Hunter Hayes Let's Be Crazy."  The 21-city run kicks off in Knoxville October 10th.  Finally, we go Inside The Song with Tony Martin to hear about a song he co-wrote for Josh Turner called "Time Is Love."

Carrie Underwood hit the charts for the fifteenth time with "Good Girl," a track she co-wroter with Ashley Gorley and Chris DeStefano.  We had a chance to catch up with Carrie and her co-writers at a party at the Country Music Association to celebrate that song's recent success.
