Today's premiere comes in the form of the opener track from “A Long Way,” Jacques Bon, and Drux's forthcoming album. The 8-track LP starts with a bass-heavy, celestial-sounding one-minute opening scene, after which a steady kick enters, surely bound to push every dance floor it's played on into a frenzy. A breakdown follows shortly after, topped by a subtle, chopped vocal sample. A second breakdown occurs, decreasing the energy even more before erupting into insanity again. The track sets the tone for the rest of the album: deep, dubby, and sophisticated. The entire release has common thematic elements woven through it yet is never dull or repetitive. Some are slow-burners perfect for warming up floors, and some will serve as big, memorable peak-time moments. Overall, an incredibly impressive album that will inevitably receive an extremely warm welcome upon its release. Efter sit gennembrud i 2011-julekalenderen 'Ludvig og julemanden' tog skuespiller Andreas Jessens liv fart. Fra den ene dag til den anden gik hans liv fra en normal hverdag til at blive kimet ned 60 til 100 gange om dagen. Samtidig var hans far terminalt syg med kræft. "Jeg blev jo jagtet (af pressen, red.) hver gang, jeg var ude i byen, og særligt når jeg prøvede at glemme, at jeg havde en far, der var terminalt syg," fortæller den i dag 32-årige Andreas Jessen i dette afsnit af 'Rejsen' med Daniel 'Drux' Deletic. Næste dag kunne skuespilleren finde sig selv i medierne. "Så stod jeg og tudbrølede på åben gade, fordi det hele ramlede for mig. Jeg forstår godt, at den kulørte presse lever af sensationer. Jeg har tilgivet dem, men det var bare ikke særlig rart at opleve," husker han. Faderskabet har fyldt meget for Andreas Jessen, som for syv år siden selv blev far til en søn, kun et halvt år efter at hans egen far var gået bort:"Jeg tænker meget tilbage på, hvordan min far var over for mig, fordi jeg synes, at han var et klasse-eksempel, som jeg ikke altid selv kan leve op til. Det fylder virkelig meget for mig at være en god forældre."Det er langtfra tilfældigt, at Andreas Jessen og Daniel 'Drux' Deletic mødes for at tale på den gamle Istedgade-bodega McKluud, hvor skuespilleren har brugt mange af sine aftener som ung. Et sted, hvor han har haft store tanker og samtaler om livet. Selvom Andreas Jessen i dag har været med i en lang række film- og tv-serier, og karrieren går godt, var han længe overbevist om, at hans fremtid ikke var i spotlightet, men som arkitekt. "Jeg drømte aldrig om at blive skuespiller. Nu, fem år senere, er han den største UK-rapper overhovedet, og er ude på en arenatour, der rammer Royal Arena den 21. februar. Hvordan er London-rapperen gået fra lokalhelt til globalt rapfænomen? Hvad kendetegner hans musik på det nylig udkomne ‘Heavy Is The Head’? Og har Stormzy egentlig overgået den evige konkurrent Skepta?
