Da se vsaj nekoliko razbremenite od razburjenja zimskih športov, se na kratko vrnimo k izjavi Žana Mahniča o ustanovitvi urada za pregon. Vemo, vemo, da vam Mahnič do danes leze že iz vseh telesnih odprtin, a trdimo, da nihče v resnici ni analiziral njegove izjave. Tako smo prikrajšani za natančno védenje, kaj je jeznoriti Žan sploh povedal. Med medaljami se torej na kratko vrnimo do metanja tujcev iz države. Najprej izjava v celoti, da bo lahko analiza natančna in nepristranska. Citat: »Ustanovili bomo urad za deportacije z enim zaposlenim, dvema pomočnikoma, avtobusi in dvajsetimi policijskimi specialci. Vsi, ki so ilegalno prestopili mejo, bodo morali nazaj.« Konec citata. Kar so vsi analitiki spregledali, je seveda urad. Odkar nas je Marija Terezija z njimi zastrupila imamo Slovenci z uradi veliko veselje. Že dve stoletji jih ustanavljamo z nezmanjšanim tempom in nabralo se jih je toliko, da so postali resnično breme. Celo komunisti, zviti kujoni, ki so še bolj kot SDS sloveli po svoji učinkovitosti, se uradov niso znali znebiti, kljub temu da so ves čas svojega vladanja napovedovali vojno birokraciji. Na kratko; ženska s trajno ondulacijo in rolo omaro je ponosno upodobljena v grbu in na zastavi slovenskega uradništva in ni je sile, ki bi jo zrušil. Te dni poskuša uradništvo nadomestiti umetna inteligenca, pa slišimo, da je že obupala. In zdaj k Žanu. Napovedal je ustanovitev urada, kar je, kot smo ugotovili, za vsako novo oblast običajno. Ampak naša pozornost velja kadrovski zasedbi. »En zaposlen in dva pomočnika!« In v tem grmu tiči uradnik. Nikoli in nikdar se še ni zgodilo, da bi imel slovenski urad enega zaposlenega in dva pomočnika! Analizirajmo. En zaposlen je zagotovo šef. Brez njega ni pisarne. Dva pomočnika sta tajnica in blagajničarka. Ampak kot vemo, na uradu, ki da kaj nase, ne smeta manjkati še PR in pa sindikalni predstavnik. Tako imamo nenadoma štiri pomočnike in enega zaposlenega. Čim pa imaš takšno množico v uradu, šef potrebuje pomoč, se pravi namestnika oziroma podšefa. To bi vse še šlo, če uradniška logika ne bi bila piramidno zgrajena. Bolj se širi vrh, ustrezno se krepi tudi baza pod njim. Torej imamo nenadoma dva zaposlena, štiri pomočnike, avtobusi so bili že prej v množini, ampak policijski specialci pa se takoj povečajo na štirideset. Ampak tu se še ne konča. Predvidevamo, da bi bil urad v Ljubljani, in kot je splošno znano, je v Ljubljani nemogoče imeti urad, brez da bi v njem bilo nekaj premičnega pohištva, oziroma kadra, ki so nečaki od nekoga. Ko se v uradu zaposli nekaj teh, recimo še dva, dobimo štiri zaposlene, osem pomočnikov in osemdeset specialcev. Tako nastane že povsem spodoben urad, ki pa v teh razmerah kadrovske podhranjenosti že potrebuje strokovnega sodelavca, pravno službo, osebo za mednarodno sodelovanje in nekoga, ki ureja interno glasilo in počitniške zmogljivosti. Tako nekaj tednov po ustanovitvi urada Mahnič debelo pogleda, ko je v njegovem miselnem konstruktu zaposlenih osem ljudi, ki imajo šestnajst pomočnikov, avtobusnih šoferjev je okoli dvajset, pet uslužbencev je v avtoparku za vse te avtobuse, sto šestdeset policijskih specialcev pa je pripravljenih, da se požene v boj proti ilegalnim migrantom. Takšna bo realnost urada za deportacije in niti sam Janez Janša, ki je hodeča učinkovitost, pri tem ne more nič. Kaj šele Žan Mahnič. Gremo z analizo naprej. Imamo torej bataljon policijskih specialcev, ki se z avtobusi prevaža po deželi, akcijo pa koordinira urad s sedežem v kateri od steklenih stolpnic v prestolnici. Ampak težava je v tem, da prostoživečih ilegalnih migrantov v Sloveniji ni. Hočemo povedati, da ima ameriški urad, ki je vzornik našemu prihodnjemu, dosti bolj zahtevno delo. Tam se ilegalni migranti skušajo infiltrirati v družbo. Delajo za majhen denar, otroke pošiljajo v šolo, plačujejo davke in se nasploh obnašajo kot normalni državljani. Zato mora ameriški urad delati izjemno natančno, kdaj pa kdaj koga ustreliti, da splaši ostale – pač po modelu »Puška poči, ena pade, koliko jih še sedi?« Pri nas pa urad tega ne bo delal, ker so naši ilegalni migranti povsem drugačni od ameriških. Hočemo povedati, da ne letajo okoli po gozdovih, niti ne zalivajo naših vrtov, niti ne čistijo bazenov ali delajo v skladiščih. Naši ilegalni migranti najprej nimajo nobenega interesa ostati v Sloveniji (za kar bo v uradu skrbel oddelek za etiko ilegalnih migrantov), temveč se poskušajo čimprej odpraviti naprej. Tisti, ki se pri nas zataknejo, pa pohlevno čakajo v migrantskih centrih in se ga kdaj pa kdaj napijejo. Ter se tako poskušajo zliti z okolico. Torej; ko bo urad izdal odločbo za deportacijo, se bo sto šestdeset policijskih specialcev pripeljalo pred oni dom na Notranjskem, pospremilo nesrečneža v špalirju mitraljezov na avtobus in ga slavnostno vrnilo na Hrvaško. Mahnič pa se bo pri tem strogo in učinkovito držal. Pa še k zadnjemu poglavju analize … Ko so celo pri SDS-u ugotovili, da so tokrat brcnili v temo, so se rešili s pojasnilom, da mi ne bomo deportirali ilegalnih migrantov kot Američani, ki jih mečejo iz države po znamenitem modelu »Dead or Alive«, temveč bomo to počeli po danskem modelu. Danski model je jasno mnogo bolj human, ker je danska domovina Vikingov, čajnega peciva, lego kock in lepih manir. A nihče se v resnici ni vprašal, kako je videti danski model deportacije ... Torej; če si tam ilegalni migrant, te Danci začopatijo in vržejo iz države. In med procesom ponavljajo: »Tak!« in »Tak!« Kar pomeni prosim in hvala …

The House Oversight and Government Reform Committee advanced several tech-related bills Wednesday, including legislation to strengthen the Technology Modernization Fund, reform federal IT procurement and pare down educational requirements for agency cybersecurity roles. The TMF, which was created by law in 2017 to fund tech modernization projects across agencies, has been the subject of much hand-wringing in govtech circles after Congress let the funding vehicle expire late last year. The Modernizing Government Technology Reform Act (H.R. 2985), however, would get the TMF back on track, reauthorizing the TMF and its governing board through 2032. Rep. Nancy Mace, R-S.C., who chairs House Oversight's Cybersecurity, Information Technology, and Government Innovation Subcommittee, said it was her “privilege” to work with former Rep. Gerry Connolly on the bill before he died of cancer last May, calling the late Virginia Democrat one of TMF's “strongest supporters” and a “good-faith partner” on the bill. Rep. Shontel Brown, D-Ohio, ranking member of the cybersecurity subcommittee and co-sponsor of the TMF bill, said extending the TMF “is critical to ensuring federal agencies, many of which still rely on outdated IT systems, can modernize their infrastructure and defend against growing cyber threats.” In addition to reauthorizing the TMF, the bill would require agencies to “fully reimburse the fund” at levels that ensure it remains operational through 2032, per the bill text. The legislation also requires agencies to pay back administrative fees and create inventories of their legacy IT. The bill also included an amendment from Rep. James Walkinshaw, D-Va., Connolly's longtime chief of staff, that would require the Government Accountability Office to issue biannual reports on how TMF funds have been used to address legacy IT projects the watchdog deems high-priority. Improving government IT systems is also top of mind in the Federal Improvement in Technology (FIT) Procurement Act (H.R. 4123), which advanced out the committee by a 42-0 margin. The legislation would streamline the federal procurement process for small businesses and push federal contracting officers to examine larger acquisitions “where the potential for waste, fraud and abuse is high,” said House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer. The Kentucky Republican noted that the bill would increase the micro-purchase threshold from $10,000 to $25,000 and raise the simplified-acquisition threshold from $250,000 to $500,000. Skvělí herci, a stejně je oslovíte špatným jménem: Když se budeme dál snažit, příště to snad nespleteš!Mají zhruba stejný osud jako podcast, do kterého právě přišli na návštěvu. Jsou dobří, pár tisícovkami lidí vyloženě oblíbení, ale nějaká větší všeobecná popularita je míjí.Bohužel se to ukáže na samém počátku rozhovoru: „Vítáme dvě hvězdy Vršovického divadla Mana, konkrétně Ondru Černého a Kristýnu Průchovou…“ Druhá oslovená si přikryje ústa dlaní, ale stejně to nevydrží a řekne: „Jenom Týna, prosím, Týna s tvrdým.“Týna Průchová má zajímavé geny, jejím otcem byl Ladislav Mrkvička. „V roce 1983 nebylo možné dát jméno, které není v kalendáři, takže jsem opravdu byla Kristýnou, ale nikdo mimo rodinu to nevěděl. I vysvědčení jsem podvratně dostala na Týnu. K patnáctým narozeninám jsem dostala dárek: mohla si jméno zkrátit, a tím vlastně založila tradici. Byla jsem snad první oficiální Týna na světě.“Oba herci v podcastu vyprávějí, jak se dnes uživit a prosadit v herectví, když člověk poctivě hraje v menším divadle, ale dostává minimum rolí před kamerou. „Já například často dělám zdravotního klauna,“ popisuje Ondřej Černý. „A oba věříme, že když se budeme dál snažit a vlastně i vzdělávat jako dosud, jednou nějaká velká nabídka přijde.“Ondřej a Týna jsou stejně staří a znají se spolu od studií, takže půlku života; dokonce spolu i bydleli. Dva kamarádi se v říjnu 2025 vydali na dobrodružnou cestu za poznáním Arménie, kde půsbí také jedna z nejstarších křesťanských církví. Narazili v této zemi i na několik zajímavých zvláštností, o kterých si budeme povídat.

O nás možno povedať, že ako súčasť Božieho ľudu stále nie sme, takpovediac, „za vodou“. Preto, kým je čas milosti, konajme dobro – najmä však domácim vo viere! S tým je spojená aj sebaobetavosť, pričom výsledky vždy nevidíme hneď, väčšinou až s odstupom času. Žijeme však s dôverou, že Boh dá Svojmu dielu vzrast aj pod vedením, či za účasti iných. Je nevyhnutné, aby sme sa v tomto vedeli zachovať ako Mojžiš, ktorý hoci stál na čele zápasu o Božie veci, zostáva pred „bránami“ zasľúbenej krajiny. S pokorou prijíma svoj údel, no neprestáva zápasiť o budúcnosť tých, ktorí zostanú po ňom. Povzbudzuje a posilňuje Józueho, ktorý ho má nahradiť a v určitom zmysle aj zožať plody jeho práce. Mali by sme vedieť, že v cirkvi nie sme súpermi, ale spolupracovníkmi na Božom diele. Kiežby sme si to aj vždy uvedomovali a svedectvo viery a dôvery v Hospodina s pokorou, spolupatričnosťou a solidaritou odovzdávali ďalej aj počas dnešného dňa! The Department of Homeland Security is launching a new office focused on unmanned aircraft systems that will oversee strategic investments in drone and counter-drone technologies. DHS Secretary Kristi Noem said in the Monday press release: “We are entering a new era to defend our air superiority to protect our borders and the interior of the United States. This will help us continue to secure the border and cripple the cartels, protect our infrastructure, and keep Americans safe as they attend festivities and events during a historic year of America's 250th birthday and FIFA 2026.” The creation of the dedicated office builds on preceding efforts to beef up drone and counter-drone technologies. In December, FEMA awarded $250 million in grants for counter-drone capabilities to the 11 states hosting FIFA World Cup 2026 matches and Washington, D.C. DHS also expanded authorization the same month to allow state and local law enforcement to combat drone threats, according to the announcement. The department is also fielding proposals from industry partners for a $1.5 billion contract that will facilitate the procurement of these technologies for Customs and Border Protection and Immigration and Customs Enforcement. The new Program Executive Office has “already begun its work,” according to DHS. The drone-focused entity is finalizing a $115 million investment in counter technologies that will support the two upcoming celebrations. The funding and focus come amid heightened risks regarding threat actors' use of unmanned aircraft systems. The House on Monday passed a bill that would revamp how agencies purchase software, putting the legislation in the same place it was a year ago: waiting for the Senate to follow suit as the clock ticks down on the congressional calendar. The Strengthening Agency Management and Oversight of Software Assets (SAMOSA) Act would require agencies to examine their software licensing practices, with the aim of streamlining IT buying practices to avoid duplicative purchases. The bill is identical to legislation that passed the House last December but did not move forward in the Senate. The House bill, co-sponsored by Reps. Nancy Mace, R-S.C., Shontel Brown, D-Ohio, Pat Fallon, R-Texas, and April McClain Delaney, D-Md., would press agencies to better manage their software without limiting procurement options. John Fetterman, D-Pa., and Ted Budd, R-N.C., would establish a national network of cloud laboratories led by the National Science Foundation and supported by the National Institute of Standards and Technology, with the goal of enhancing collaboration between institutions while improving research efficiency with AI. If passed, NSF will select up to six programmable cloud laboratories from a range of applicants, including academic institutions and private-sector research groups. NIST would be tasked with setting standards and reporting to Congress about the feasibility for expansion. The bill, introduced last week, aligns with provisions laid out by the Trump administration's AI Action Plan and aims to codify existing NSF proposals, according to the sponsors. NSF earmarked $100 million for a similar AI-powered cloud network in August as it looked to expand access to emerging technologies. When a pair of high-profile internet outages took down large chunks of the internet last month, the events briefly brought hundreds of organizations to a near-halt and prevented millions of users from accessing core services for everyday business needs. From Starbucks to crypto exchanges to the messaging app Signal, the outages rippled across nearly every sector, shining a spotlight onto the country's — and even the government's — reliance on a mere handful of cloud service providers. In the wake of those incidents, watchdog groups are calling on federal regulators to scrutinize the role that massive cloud companies like Amazon and Microsoft play in owning and maintaining much of our collective backend IT infrastructure. Meanwhile, technology and cybersecurity experts point out that, because of financial and business realities, there are very few alternatives to the large companies that now dominate the market. The Amazon Web Services outage began Oct. 19 and lasted into Oct. 20. According to Amazon's post-mortem, a single software bug in DynamoDB — the system that manages website addresses, along with efforts to repair it — caused all services in the Northern Virginia region that relied on the tool to go down for 15 hours. Just over a week later, Microsoft's Azure cloud platform experienced an outage impacting several of its services. According to Microsoft, an “inadvertent tenant configuration change” occurred in Azure Front Door, the company's content delivery network. The outages exposed just how fragile the country's digital infrastructure is and showed the risks of letting a few companies hold so much power. As a result, some groups are urging federal regulators to address the issue. Federal agencies would be required to report artificial intelligence-related layoffs to the Department of Labor under a new bill from a bipartisan pair of senators. The AI-Related Job Impacts Clarity Act from Sens. Mark Warner, D-Va., and Josh Hawley, R-Mo., calls on agencies and major companies to deliver quarterly reports to DOL on the impact AI has on their workforces, detailing job cuts and displacements. Hawley said in a press release“Artificial intelligence is already replacing American workers, and experts project AI could drive unemployment up to 10-20% in the next five years. The American people need to have an accurate understanding of how AI is affecting our workforce, so we can ensure that AI works for the people, not the other way around.” The bill would also require agencies and companies to report hirings that can be “substantially” credited to AI, as well as the number of individuals they are retraining because of AI.
